Very friendly and helpful staff. Loraine ( office personel ) went above and beyond to assist me. Just today I was trying to fix a window on my car when one of the mechanics, Don Marshall (DJ), gave me some tips on how to fix the problem. I then attempted the suggestion he made and was able to get the window mostly up. He saw my partially successful attempt and went out of his way to help me get the window fully up. Mile Hi Auto is definitely in my favorites. When service lines up with character, you have a great company such as this one. Kiddos Mile Hi!
Mile hi is an excellent shop for saab repairs and/or body work. Ive going for years and always appreciate the honest and friendly staff. The guys in the body shop are meticulous to detail.
If you have issues with or need maintenance for your Saab, you have to urgently get yourself to Mile Hi. This is THE place to come with a Saab. Probably also for anything else as well. Jeff took care of my 1990 Saab which had been let go by a relative and left in storage for two years. I had serious problems and I walked out at a reasonable price. Jeff displayed the highest level of trustworthiness, professionalism, honesty, and technical knowledge. I knew what I was paying before work started. I got more than fair prices for labor and for parts. They found the parts my car needed, which is something considering that they dont make this car since about 10 years. Mile Hi have some type of.... wizards working there; there is no substitute for experience. There was no guess work, they have years of experience and they just know their business. They solved my problems, and they also found things wrong that I would have never worked out and told me about them: not pumping up the price, important things I needed to take care of. When we were done, at a very fair price, the technical people who worked on the car did something unbelievable: they drove the car to make sure their work was complete and satisfactory! Never in my life has someone done that for me. I felt lucky to have these people work on my car for me.
DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR CAR FROM HERE!!! They completely took advantage of my son. They told him to put $500 down on a car and they will hold it for him. My son test drove the car and the engine light was on and the tires kept clicking. They said they would fix it by the next day. The next day turned into 4 days later. When we asked for the money back they said it was non-refundable. They had horrible customer service.
I do all my own Maintenance on my Saab 9-5But when things that are out of my lane like a wheel alignment I take it to somewhere professional. And that’s why I brought it to Mile Hi Automotive, Mile High Automotive was a name that was always mention when I met another Saab enthusiast in the Denver Metro Area(I’ve lived here for 2yrs Mile High Automotive was always recommended)I brought my Saab in for a wheel alignmentAnd they did a fantastic job!I can tell that Mile Hi Automotive took their time to get it done right and did not rush the job.Patients and perfection was definitely used.I’ve had my Saab just a little over 6 years and my past alignments where ok not the greatest but right away I could tell that my alignment was on point.I recommend Mile Hi Automotive to anyone needing a job done.I also definitely saved money from the last time I got a wheel alignment!
Trust is important!!I felt I was getting what I wanted done and no piling on unnecessary work to pad there bill. And got free quote to do the work needed. Was never stressed to do work I couldnt afford today. Great job Mile Hi.
Had a great experience with this team. I drive down from Broomfield to come here because I know they are truly an honest mechanic. Very fair and knowledgeable. Thank you Mike and Bill!
Been going here more than 10 years with several cars. Highly trustworthy, knowledgeable, and superior quality. A car dealer service manager friend of mine originally told me about Mile Hi. Said its the only place he trusts with his own cars. I agree! Highly recommend.
If you still own a Saab, this is the only place that Id trust.
WOW, I am very impressed by the repair work they did on my Subaru. I was involved in an accident and did an estimate with Mike. He was super friendly and showed me all the repairs that needed to be done on my car. He stayed true to the estimate and the repair team went above and beyond what they needed to repair my car. Now it has never looked better and the repair was worth every dollar spent. I’m happy to know I can go to a place that will do the work right for a fair price. Highly recommended!
I can highly recommend this place. They fixed my Saab in just about one day and they did a really good job for a reasonable price.I was on a road trip to go skiing and my Saabs alternator and ABS module failed. I had to leave my Saab in Denver, rented a car and went skiing. So I was actually just driving through Denver and there was little time to fix my car without delaying the whole trip. I left my Saab there Saturday and they started working on it on Monday. Tuesday morning the car was already fixed! The service of Mile Hi Body shop was really good since I could handle everything via the phone with Steve (cool guy, even speaks German). He explained all the issues to me and offered different options on how to repair it (even fit my college student budget). Payment was done via phone and I was also able to arrange a late pickup after working hours that worked for me. After about one week later and roughly 1000 miles, my Saab is still running great and I am glad I brought my Saab to the Mile Hi Body Shop. If youre looking for a place to get your car taken care of, you just found it! Excellent Service and Excellent Quality!
Got an oil change & recall work done on my 92x. Good price, friendly folks, and my window magically doesnt rattle around like it used to. Excellent.
The folks at Mike Hi Automotive are great the fixed my Saab they were very informative and kept me up to date on everything that was happening. Im a customer for life. They ate a specialty shop only working on Saab and Subaru which is nice. Give them a try toy wont be sorry
Had my car repaired in 2013 for a side swipe, couldnt tell the difference between new, and repairs. Brought my Truck in last month because they did such a good job, and have the same results. They do great work here and are friendly. Highly recommended.
Mile Hi is the best! Ive been taking my saabs there for 36 years. Their skill/service/friendship is what has and will keep me going to them for my 02 9-3 and the love of my life Sherris 03 9-5. Jerry and his daughter Michelle, plus everyone else who works there all really care for their customers and cars.I could share many stories regarding my good experiences with Mile Hi through the years, but Ill leave it at that. The only reason I would not recommend them would be so I wouldnt have to wait for a longer time to get an appointment for my car.
Great service, way overpriced. They charged me $400 for a used abs unit. Looked them up online and the average price is more like $150
Good honest people and great value!
I always have a great experience while shopping at mile high I typically come here for auto parts. They are a saab specialist company with great employees and amazing prices.
Didnt have a bulb we needed but my hubbys step dad went there years ago and they remembered him. 40 + years of service.
Mile Hi always has the part I need, great customer service.
I have been going to Mile Hi Automotive for a few years now and as long as Im living in Denver and driving a car they will service I will be bring it here. Fantastic and honest staff.
I came to Mile Hi in search of a new bumper after being involved in a hit-and-run, and Mike and his team took such great care of me and my car. Not only was the turnaround time amazingly fast, but they were even able to repair my original bumper and keep the cost down for me, and the end result is fantastic. They really do amazing work, thank you guys!
After 3 weeks of moving to Denver and buying a brand new Subaru, I was hit from behind (you can imagine how bummed I was!). I selected Mile Hi based off of online reviews and Im SO glad I did!!! The entire team at Mile Hi was extraordinarily attentive, kind and fast! I took my car in Monday and got it back Wednesday. My car came back sparkling clean, like new.Mile Hi, I hope I wont need to be calling you anytime soon 😂, but know youll always have my business!!
This is the place to go if you own a Saab or Subarus they have a great staff there and they are wonderful people and great mechanics and body shop I just live taking my car there when I needed something done.
I love their courtesy pick up service if you live nearby! Lorraine personally gave me a ride home after I dropped off my car to get several recalls taken care of. Other times Ive been able to book a complimentary loaner car ahead of time, which helps me get to work in Golden while my car is in the shop. So great to have a mechanic where I know my Saabaru will be well taken care of. I called another mechanic first and they didnt even know what a Saab92x was! These guys are Subaru and Saab specialists and I have yet to be disappointed.
I went there after being in an accident and the service provided was very fast and caring. I am not the most car-savy guy, but they spoke to me about what my car issues were, how they can be fixed (multiple options given), and they always forewarned me about where the costs could grow. Not only did they fix my car ahead of time, but they also charged me $100 less than the estimate, which I was thrilled to hear. I would highly recommend visiting them for a trusted automotive shop.
Excellent service from these guys. They helped me figure out what the cost would be to fix my Subaru as well as take care of some extras while they were at it. They came in right at the quoted price, which was quite a bit lower than every other place I checked. The free loaner car was a huge plus as I rely on my car for a living.I will highly recommend these guys to anyone with a Subaru for future work!
One of the mechanic was very helpful and honest . But the salesman was not. He did a code scan when the ch eck engine light wasnt on and told me the work that needed to be done would cost me 1,100 dollars. Like I could afford that.
Great! They really made me feel good about owning an older saab. The pricing is very competitive and service is excellent. I went in there with some engine noise after being a customer for less than 2 services and they fixed my problem with a new part at no charge.
Called in to set a time for a collision estimate and Mike(the general manager) was a know it all, was rude raised his voice at me, talked over me, would not listen to what the situation was cause again, he knew it all and then told me to take my care somewhere else and hung up on me. I never got one question answered or a date and time to bring it in which is what I called for. He immediately got on the phone and started telling me how it was going to be.I called back for the owner and the owner never once addressed Mikes bad attitude and behavior. Instead just tried talking me into bringing my car in still. I have been going here for over 4 years. They have lost my business.
Lets start off with how friendly the staff is. They ALL seem to truly enjoy what they do, especially the manager, Michelle.I had a front end collision in my Saab 93 Aero convertable. They had most ALL the parts on location and finished the job 3 days early. Even came to pick me up !Then, on my way home I had another front end collision! When I came back they took me right back and repaired my headlights and found another Hood. Ill be taking it back in a few days to get it repaired. Thanks, guys!
I suspect the good reviews on here must be fake, or from employees. Do not take your car here. Its a chop shop and the customer service is non existent. Really shocked at how many good reivews there are. Warning-stay away if you value your car and your time.
Taken my car (Subaru WRX) here twice since I moved to Denver recently. Absolutely great service, the service writers are excellent, and they fixed my car quickly in both instances. Just recently I didnt have an appointment and they were able to get me in day-of for a quick minor fix, which was GREATLY appreciated. Cant comment on how other vehicles are taken care of there, but I will continue to take my business here.
Needed repairs for my Saab. Even tho my roommate is a mechanic with a shop, Saabs have unique issues so I Googled Saab near me. Found Mile Hi. Read the great reviews from many customers so I emailed my question. Got a reply back from Jerry, one of the founding family members, and told me what I needed would be free of charge. We set an appointment, he fixed the problem within a few minutes. So I asked about another issue and he gave me a quote nearly half of what others had. We set another appointment, I came back, within 15 minutes, I was on the road happy with the way business SHOULD be done service and my car issues were solved. I definitely recommend this company.
A winter accident on I-70 left me without a front bumper, two destroyed quarter panels, and a bent hood. Mile Hi took care of absolutely everything in a very timely manner, was super professional, and even went above and beyond by fixing a very small issue I only noticed two weeks after the repairs were complete. I would absolutely use their services again.
Valve cover gasket still leaking after their repair. Waste of time and money.
I called on a Thursday and spoke with Michael regarding an appointment for repairs on my hail damaged vehicle. He said he could get me in the following week for repairs. I brought my vehicle in the following Wednesday at 8 am, which is the time we agreed upon over the phone, however when I got there he said he had no records of my scheduled appointment nor did he have any recollection of ever speaking with me. He told me he could not take my vehicle and it would be 3 months before he could get me in. He also told me it was odd to schedule a drop off in the middle of the week, however while I was waiting there were two other individuals who walked right in and dropped their cars of for repairs. I was absolutely livid. He was friendly when we spoke on the phone, and he walked me through their repair schedule. I told him my estimate was for 96 hours, and he said at 4 hours of labor per day it would take about 24 days to repair. He then gave me the numbers for two rental car companies, which I called and scheduled a reservation with. Because Michael was so negligent, I had to reschedule an appointment with another shop and reschedule my rental car reservation as well. This was such a frustrating experience I would recommend everyone against going here for repairs.
I have gone to Mile Hi Body Shop since 1987 - 31 years. I have purchased 4 Saabs from Jerry Danner, purchased one for my Mom, and my siblings have also purchased vehicles and had service there. It is a family business with great ethics. Car repair has often had a pink tax for women with dishonest and overpriced situations. I have stayed with Mile Hi Body Shop for 3 decades because they have treated me honestly, have helped me strategize repairs, they have loaner cars during repair, and do excellent buyers checks when considering used vehicle purchases from other sources. I have referred many people here for all of these reasons - good quality work, honest people, fair pricing. It doesnt get any better than that, and its not an exaggeration. The good news is that their service has expanded to Asian and European models; now more people can receive these great benefits, not just Saab owners.
Mile Hi is the only place Ive taken my 2002 Saab. The team is great. Ive never had a bad experience.
I had a great experience with Mile Hi when having body work repaired through an insurance claim. Joe was very helpful and knowledgable, answering questions and helping with a couple of issues outside of the covered damage. The whole thing was very professionally handled with thorough information and instructions, appt confirmations, and work completed earlier than expected.
Excellent, knowledgeable service. Why havent I been taking my Saab 9-5 Aero here all along? I asked myself that after being referred to this shop after my previous mechanic broke up with my 2003 Saab. These guys are not only extremely knowledgeable when it comes to faulty issues with these cars, but are also passionate about them and want to keep them on the road. I had my ACC system serviced along with my rear trunk. I was given a demonstration of the Saab 9-5 heater box and why the motors broke which helped me understand the root of the issue I was having. Ill be coming back in the future for any repairs/service on my car.
For weeks I looked and looked for parts for my 1999 saab 9-5 and came up with nothing when I found this place, and instantly knew I had found all I needed, the staff was friendly and helpful and honestly they probably have more Saabs in their yard than every other junkyard in the state combined. if you are looking for good cheap parts for any saab this is the place to go
Always a good experience. Bought an intercooler pipe, and tires. Great service friendly staff. Love their Saabs
They fixed our Saab, however they didnt fix the problem entirely, hence the reason for 4 stars. They took two days to fix the starter on my saab and it cost $400.
My wife and I brought our 2008 BMW in to have an appraisal and body repair done in late October. Mike in body took a look at the car and collected pictures of the damages. He had said that the shop was busy and wouldnt be able to have the car serviced until after the new year most likely. We have not heard back from him since October, yet we have called and spoken to him 4 times, one of which time he said he had lost our file. Since our initial visit and he has not returned our calls to set up an appointment or communicated with us concerning a date for repair. My wife and I read the reviews for Mile High and were impressed in the beginning, but now we are left scratching our heads wondering how this business received such high regards. We are not happy and wanted to share that clearly Mike and Mile High Saab has dropped the ball on customer service and professional etiquette. We will be seeking another repair shop to help us fix what should of been done months ago. Thank you for wasting our time guys.
Guys here are great. Always helpful.
A week after having them replace my axles and transmission, I had to come back in because my axle nut came loose. The wheel was being held on by the brake caliper, it couldve come off while driving! When I picked up my car they told me they broke an engine mount bolt and I would have to pay to have them remove the engine if I wanted it fixed. Now the 249k mile transmission (They had me under the impression the trans had 100k less miles) has failed. Thanks Mile Hi, you sure know how to treat a customer right. I told you the transmission was failing months ago. Nor can you return phone calls.I hope anyone thinks twice before coming to this shop. Theyre only interested in pushing old failing parts they have lying around. They refuse to work to find a good part to put in and then they refuse to warranty their work. They dont pay their employees enough to provide a quality service. They also charge outrageous prices for the parts they do have. $65 for a used air hose? $400 for a used turbo? $600 for a transmission that has 249,000 miles on it?When I reached out to the Saab community, someone offered to ship me 2 transmissions from the United Kindom for $300 USD.Edit: Mark returned my phone call today. He apologized for his malpractice and offered to inspect the car for me. I dont want my car stuck at his shop because I dont have money to repair it. He cant do anything for me because this transmission failed 18k miles and 8 months after the repair. I must say I am impressed with Saabs craftsmanship. These 18k miles have been at 225hp and 250lb ft of torque (I have turned my 1995 9000 CSE into the Aero with the TD04HL-15t turbo and a tune)
Having to get your car fixed is never really exciting but these guys (especially Michael in the body shop) have always gone above and beyond and I couldnt be more grateful! Thank you for everything you do!
I went there due to an airbag recall. The staff is very professional and friendly. The waiting room is small, but nice. Theres also free Wi-Fi and doughnuts on Fridays.
They are always professional and personable. They are knowledgable about Saabs and often do the extra work to find used parts to save the customer money.
Good people, ordered a part, recieved it within time frame.Well behaved people.
Job finished on time, done the right way the first time. They wont back down to scumbag insurance companies that insist upon used or aftermarket parts that will void your factory warranty. I am speaking from 10 years of experience as a former auto painter/refinisher technician at a multi million dollar a year in business collision repair shop.
Got my light fix, it kept fall out, found out someone hit the front of my truck knock something loose. Thanks Mile Hi Automotive
Friendly staff, quality service, honest pricing
If you have a Saab, go here. They have a long history with these cars and run a big shop.
Enter with caution! Was told it would costs $450 to fix my SAAB. Came to pick up my car and was told the turbo charger had broken while in their shop; just very bad luck...really. $900 to fix with used parts. The car smokes so bad you cannot drive it.
Great service, friendly team.
Good people working there.
Friendly staff, prices are more than fair!
Specialized SAAB and Subaru service center.
Good customer service
Fast and reasonable
