Sam and team were amazing! Everything from the communication, to the pictures documenting every step, to the price, to the overall experience was so great! They work super fast, but also are methodical about quality and the details. Quick to respond when I was scheduling my appointment. They did a complete look at all systems of my car and found many repairs that needed to be done and an oil leak from an oil change I just had done 6 days prior. This team always does a great job of setting expectations for their work and getting customers back to their car ASAP. They also do a great job of education and do not oversell things you do not need. It’s also worth nothing that in my experiences as a female, some car shops treat you differently, sadly. Not here- I felt very comfortable and that I was being included and informed on the work being done to my car and why it was necessary.I had shocks done about a year ago with them and in a recent oil change, it was noted i had a slight shock leak. Wasn’t major but being that they warranty their work/parts, I was able to call Jordan to get this fixed quickly and with no hassle.

I’ve been to a ton of auto shops and never got expertise like this. Just the fact that they send you a breakdown of everything performed complete with pictures of each issue helps a ton with the trust factor. They were constantly in communication when I needed it and I cannot say enough about how great the staff is.

I used Import Sports for all of this issues my vehicle had. They accepted my extended warranty where the repairs were covered & kept me up to date on everything. This will be a long one, but it is important for people to know before they have their cars potentially damaged here.I had been putting off this review because the fellow I had talked to when I had the work done, Sam, was always very communicative and polite. He was kind enough, in fact, that I felt bad making this review, but its been almost a year since I had the work done and it was bad enough that it has left permanent damage to my car and others need to know before they bring theirs in.I came in late June/July 2018 when I still lived in Colorado (I now live in Texas) to have some suspension work done to my 1984 300zx. It involved a master bushing kit install, sway bars install and coilovers install, all things I didnt feel completely comfortable doing myself at the time. I forgot how much I was initially quoted but it certainly was not cheap. As long as the quality of work was there, I didnt mind paying for it--but it was not.The first issue arose when they called me to let me know the coilovers I had did not fit my car. They were in fact the proper coilovers, however for this specific car it requires cutting the stock spindles and welding them to the base of the front coilovers. Fair enough, neither they nor I knew that this was necessary, so this work wasnt done.As for the master bushing install, quite a few bushings were left over and not installed-- including the subframe bushings--the ones I wanted installed the most.However, the sway bars were the biggest concern. When I first picked up my Z from the shop it was loaded on to a carrier as I was moving that day to Texas. When the loader started up the car it made a terrible grinding sound which worsened when it was actually driven. He strapped on the car and started transporting it away before I had a chance to bring it back in. I brought this grinding up to the shop when I came back inside and they claimed they wouldnt have let it leave the shop with that grinding, which was obviously false since it was parked outside in front of the shop. I thanked them for the work, paid my amount full in cash and left.Fast forward two weeks and my car is delivered to my new residence in Texas. First thing I do is I start diagnosing what the grinding could be and it took me no time at all to discover the top of the front sway bar was grinding against the harmonic balancer, the MAIN CRANK PULLEY of the car (see photos). Both the sway bar and the balancer had become damaged--the sway bar cut into and the balancers edge ground against. It seemed like an obvious obstruction that should have been caught by a professional mechanic immediately, let alone a hobbyist.The fix was easy. I loosened the sway bar end links and it backed off the balancer with a good 5 or 6 mm of clearance. I contacted the shop regarding this and their response is below. Essentially, they just told me an easy fix (that wasnt even necessary) and blaming it on a motor mount issue, which wasnt the case. Really, I spent money on their mistake for me to just fix myself with no offer of compensation or meaningful retribution, just a very brief apology. For the record, the damaged harmonic balancer is NO LONGER AVAILABLE to replace as a part and the front sway bars structural integrity is compromised.I forgot the exact cost but I believe I paid about $2200 for the work done. The coilovers--which WERE correct for the vehicle--I ended up installing myself as well, but I still paid for a portion of the work involving them because they took off the old shocks. I also spent this money to have my balancer and sway bar damaged in the process with no responsibility taken for the damaged parts on behalf of the shop. I would suggest avoiding this shop at all costs. Any reputable shop would have first of all caught their mistakes before it left the shop-- or at VERY least, offer some sort solution besides sorry, do it yourself for the parts THEY damaged.(Coilovers in pic shows the spindle welded on when I installed them myself later on).

I absolutely recommend this shop for anyone who wants honest work for a fair price. These guys were able to squeeze me in last minute for an Airlift suspension issue that I was having. They were able to diagnose the issue almost immediately and although because of the nature of the problem being a faulty suspension component from the factory, they were able to reassure me that my car was safe to drive for the time being while I deal with the warranty process. Could not be happier with the work and professionalism shown at this shop. Jordan the service manager is terrific!

I took my 2002 WRX into Import performance for an alignment. It was pretty messed up from a bad accident i had a month or two ago and im on coil overs so a shop like service street will not cut it. Import took my car in and swiftly got the alignment done as well as adjusted the camber. My car has never had this good of an alignment before and it feels fantastic. Will be coming to Import again, quality work.

My brakes were shot and I was in a pinch due to a short timing window. My lady and I were heading out of town for Easter weekend, and I desperately needed new brakes.I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, and initially went to the authorized dealership for a price quote. But the initial quote seemed way too high, so I reached out to Jordan at Importsports, and they quoted a price that was half of what I was being asked to pay by the dealership. So I opted to give Jordan my business, and couldn’t be happier with the results!Jordan and the rest of the Importsports team handled everything very professionally and promptly. I got an oil change which is what I went in for, however when I take my vehicle to other locations they will do a all point check, meaning change oil, check tire pressure, windshield wipers etc. This location does not/did not do that. I think that would provide a better customer experience.After my post I got a call from one of the Techs that serviced my vehicle and he confirmed that he completed all of the above. As a customer I greatly appreciate the fact they read their reviews and they took the time to give me a call to clear up any misunderstandings, thats a great Customer experience and very professional. I’ve changed my rating from a 3 to 5 stars.Very professional team and detailed in what they do. Their knowledge, expertise and experience give them the ability to troubleshoot and pin point the problem quickly. ImportSports was awesome. Its always tricky knowing where to take your car, especially when its a modified track car. ImportSports was able to handle my lowered S2000, which has a splitter just 3.5 off the ground without issue. They got my alignment done to exactly the specs I requested and charged a fair price. Ill definitely be back if I need more work I cant do myself.P.S. The car ran like a dream and clocked a 2:04.6 at HPR the next day!

Import Sports replaced the shocks on my car and did a great job across the board. They were open and professional with their communication before the work started, the job took exactly as long as described and the cost was what they estimated, which was reasonable. Great service, quick installment. I live in Colorado Springs now and I still would recommend this shop, I drove an hour to have them install header and exhaustion on my fa5 yesterday.They installed coilovers on my car about two years ago and when I ordered new brake rotors last Spring, they were nice to offer me free labor on brake rotor replacement for a good reason, not shop’s fault, it was one of their technicians.Something happened but to make it short story, “they took care of it.” Even they came to me and told me that technician broke my ABS sensor while my coilovers were installed and they paid for new ABS sensor.Unfortunately, that technician is terminated and fortunately, Sam is a good guy. I am a former technician so when my car has to be lifted for new part installment, I still would pick this shop.Sometimes, bad stuff can happen but if you ask me for a reputable shop, I would say Import Sports Performance and they have my 5 stars for good service even they told me that technician is fired. I feel bad for this technician who lost the job but I trust that Sam has good reasons and he already paid the price for my ABS sensor and I appreciate for his free labor offer on brake rotor replacement.

I reached out to Import Sports Performance due to an error message with my BMW x3 and the engine intake. I had just gotten the car serviced in Chicago and was extremely frustrated that something was wrong. I called Import Sports and Sam answered right away and made an appointment for me the next day. I really appreciated the customer service even though I had no pre-existing relationship with ISP. I dropped the car off the next day and Sam and Jordan were extremely friendly and helpful. After taking the day to examine and test drive the car, they called to let me know it was a simple fix. I only had to pay for the diagnostics! They are an honest shop - genuine and helpful. I appreciated them explaning everything to me - I have very little knowledge of cars - and also not trying to fix things that werent wrong. I will definitely return!

This shop is nothing short of amazing. I brought my 2009 civic si in for a new clutch because this shop quoted my over half the cost of my dealership shop. Not only did they finish my car 4 days earlier than expected but they used their expertise to correct what my dealership thought was the issue. My new clutch feel better than new. I couldnt recommend a shop more than this one. Ive owned 6 cars that needed major work and this is the best experience Ive had in this whole state of Colorado. Also they did a few free services to improve how my car drives. Id never promote free services as an expectation, but these guys did everything in their power to give me the best experience possible. I read reviews before giving them a try and the only negatives were due to the shop being busy. What do you expect with such excellent work and customer service.

First time customer at this business. Needed some routine maintenance done on my Audi... manager there was defensive and unprofessional, told me to come and get my car before it was even finished. Not even sure if they even did any repair to my car at all, it was parked in the exact place as when I dropped it off. I spent $700+ on who knows what?!? Actually, as I was driving home, every time I turned the wheel, it makes a loud sound, I did mention it to the “manager” on the phone, but apparently it was not addressed. It just got worse.

Wonderful experience!!!!, as a Female I am always scared of getting ripped off going to a shop!! I just got a Range Rover and a week after I left the dealership the engine light came on. I was about to cry... went to this shop (a couple blocks from my house) and they only did the absolutely necessary to it, they checked the code, ran an extra smoke test (at no extra cost) eareased the code and engine light problem. And saved me so much money from telling me that the breaks looked great and no need to do an expensive break job right now (when the dealer had told me that I should probably replace it soon). I was thinking of purchasing a used Acura TLX so I brought it here for a prepurchase inspection. They were quick to get it in, very thorough and talked to me about potential future maintenance costs. Ive been coming here for years. From working on my 2000 Honda civic to working on my Range Rover these guys are simply the best! I’ve gotten nothing but quality repairs from them at a reasonable price in reasonable timing.

They fixed my mini cooper in one day with no notice. When I came to get it, they pulled it up to the door and let the heat run. My car runs better now than it did when I bought it! The staff is very friendly and patient and theyre great at providing succinct, simple explanations of car problems.

Took my 1996 civic ek hatch in to get oil leaks fixed and a check engine light. Check engine light is fixed but still pisses oil and now my clutch is slipping. Very upset that I spent 1600 here to basically get a coolant temp sensor fixed. set up another appointment And hopefully they resolve this issue.

They diagnosed my complicated DRL electrical system when the dealer wouldn’t, my car is very frustrating and I appreciate the patience these everyone had. Great guys! Got me back on the road in an hour or two. Was a bit pricey but for the work they did it was worth it.

Jordan is professional and straight to the point no bs they found out what was wrong with my vehicle immediately after taking it to another shop where they found nothing wrong and suggested an $1800 tune up instead of what I brought it in for it needed a new clutch and he suggested other things that needed attention in detail and what could wait and what needed service right away instead of your typical shop trying to get everything they can out of you.

The guys know their stuff, but got a kind of arrogant vibe from the counter guy, other than that a good overall shop.

These guys did a wonderful job diagnosing,repairing, and tuning my 01 5th gen prelude. It has been having problems being an older car that I have not been able to find. These guys found all the problems and fixed them and got real good results on the dyno. My car has never run better, very happy with the work.

An honest auto repair! I have been a long time customer, almost 10 years and with multiple vehicles. I have always received high quality care for my vehicles and I 100% trust the repairs done on my car. With the dealership, I feel like they tell you to do services because they are recommended not because you need them. I never feel like they ask me to do extra repairs. The customer service is great and the owner is honest. I will continue to bring all of my vehicles here. I rarely write reviews so for me to write one I have to be pretty happy with the service.

These guys are the best, taken a couple cars there in the past and another recently. First two was for basic diagnostics of the a/c and both times they fixed the issues and didn’t even charge me any extra than what it costs to do the diag.

Amazing service here at Import Sports! We had an issue with our credit card company sending out a new card and deactivating our old one without receiving the new card. We were coming down from Michigan and they recognized that it was not our fault so they were kind enough to waive a couple of days storage fees while we rushed down there and paid and picked up the car which performed amazingly after a transmission rebuild. Love the guys at import sports they treat you right.

Ended up having to have the car towed to a dealer to fix what this place broke (after a month in the shop). The dealer said that they improperly installed the fuel pump and ruined the entire fuel system ($12,000). They said the had a BMW master mechanic but they dont know what they are doing. Dont take your BMW here!Update: After further back and forth with this company, they are causing another 10 day delay on getting my car back on the road for what seems to be spite over this whole issue. This has been the least professional transaction I have ever had. They are extremely defensive and will not admit they made a mistake despite having plenty of photographic evidence and the fact that they could not get the car running / had to send it to the dealer. I will update again if/when this all over with.

They did an excellent job on my 09 Audi S5 replacing my stock exhaust with a catback exhaust from AWE it sounds insanely sick it’s like a whole different beast thanks for getting it done in a timely manner

Some of the best customer service in the area. Andrew was a big help through my tuning process. We ran into some heating issues and they were able to get it taken care of fast and correctly and at a great price. The tune on the car runs amazing and look forward to turning up the boost next spring after some minor upgrades with these guys.

Import Sports is a great and honest shop. I have been going there for at least 7 years with several different vehicles, Jeep, Subarus, Toyota, a Fiat even! These guys can work on anything. Furthermore I have had more than just tuneups, they have helped me install many performance parts as well. I have only had one or two issues in my whole experience there and the owner always makes things right. For me the trust level is a must as I normally work on my own cars but I dont have the space for it anymore. So to put my precious vehicles in someone elses hands is a big deal. Its hard to find an honest shop in this town I think.Keep up the good work guys

I was told by others that 240 HP from a 1.8L Honda 4-cylinder was impossible without boost, but these guys do at least 5 impossible things before breakfast every day. There is nowhere with more knowledgeable techs, nowhere with better customer service, and nowhere better to take your import car. They produce astonishing results.
