They have a pretty good selection of cars I wish they just had a little bit better categories but for the most part newer vehicles a lot of them had the parts that I needed staff was very friendly easy going laid back wasnt crowded Yard was fairly clean so it wasnt hard to walk around and put all in all was great experience
Been here many times lots of new faces. And as always good service
This place is great. The entrance staff are super helpful, and nice. The inventory is intuitively sorted, and easy to traverse. Each car is marked with identifiers which makes finding what your looking for pretty easy. I was here for parts for 2 different cars. I was lucky with one and not so much with the other.
We all need to get up in the times! Me being female and a pretty in pink one at that, got looked at by other customers as if I was a martian. But the employees didnt act differant and were very helpful and courteous.I probably would of not went in but the lady who checked people in explained where I needed to look and what other vehicles were compatible with mine. Thank you
Great customer service from employees. Always a great variety of vehicles at great prices!
Great yard, friendly, helpful staff, great prices. This is a well-designed business done right. I highly recommend it.
Great place with lots of junk cars and parts you can imagine
Great place. Had what I needed and the staff was friendly. The customers were all cool too, heard and seen lots of them helping each other out.
I bought a sensor from LKQ in San Diego. It was faulty and tried to return. The cashier dude without even trying said he will not return it. I asked for the manager and he refused and then said he would manually do it as it wouldnt scan from other LKQs. Well it did since they are connected..... so I got my refund. I asked if someone else would have a problem if its from another LKQ and said he would not return anything if its not from Aurora or Denver LKQ. Bad representation of your stores man. Pick & Pull and Pull N Pay are better.... stick with the good yards.
Very poor service. Do not buy the 90 day warranty because if they dont have a working part in stock and you ask for your money back you lose the 40 dollars you spent on the warranty and the core you brought them if you brought them a core. If the part youre looking for is valuable or hard to find you will NOT find the part at the pick a part yard in Denver or Aurora because they snag all of the best parts and sell them at their full service store which will not honor your warranty despite the fact that its the same company and their numbers are on the same business card. They will also charge you ridiculously high prices at he full service store for example I was told a low millage transfer case for a 05 Gmc Yukon xl 1500 would be 1000 dollars when a factory rebuilt transfer case is only 700. So I would not recommend giving them your business at all.
This is my third pic and pull in as many days, just like Goldilocks this one is just right. Not exactly, the vehicles seemed more picked over, and it was a bit of a hike to the Fords, then even further to the jeeps. The paths were Rutter and access to one vehicle was blocked by several tires. The true reason for the Goldilocks reference was this was more structured than the first lot but not as high volume structures as the second. This one is cash only.
Great auto salvage yard.Check it out.You can find an inventory list online.Kkelly
Awesome place to find what you need for your vehicle, considering they have the vehicle or vehicles that are interchangeable in stock. Check the internet first and bring your tools.
First experience with this pick and pull yard and couldnt be happier. The crew was awesome, friendly to say the least, and treated me like Id been there a hundred times. Dont find many like that anymore. Cheers!
Buncha nice guys at front counter.
Tons of cars to pick from and fast in and out.
Way to much for used parts that are more than used never again and the parts were not ready when I was told they would be
The credit card machine to check in never works and the yard definitely isnt the cleanest.
Awesome! Very good prices. Some cars are picked over but still lots of parts available if you hunt
Looked decent sized bit didnt have my fuel pump return with me so skipped for today
Great junkyard and prices but recently they have had an old and weak inventory. Many of the cars are already completely torn down to the frame, ESPECIALLY the European imports
Absolute trash running this place. The hours posted on their website as well as on here say that they’re open until 6pm. But they actually close at 4:30. They are aware that the posted hours are wrong and choose to do nothing about it. They clearly do not value their customers or their customers’ time. And the guy with the gauged out ears could use some lessons in being a decent human being.
Sold them a vehicle for almost double what other places were offering. Took it to them signed the title and got a check on the spot. Very friendly and helpful staff, always go here first before the other yards in Denver.
Lots of parts but nice personel
Been here quite a few times, be aware that they close at 4:30pm and not 6pm.
Need it get it here, they are great tons of cars and trucks to choose from and friendly. Dont forget your tools.
Found exactly what i needed. N with me needing exact parts! So happy with this place. And awesome prices!
I purchased a window regulator for $45Which I found later that day new for $38 on AmazonI purchased a grille for dodge pick up for $45 and it had the chrome peeling offDefinitely not a good deal but it was hot and I was beat
Went looking for a part not familiar with the policies which I had told them and the woman that took my money to enter the yard did not say anything to me about not bringing in other car parts which I did not know I had a rear view mirror in my tool bag the Cheshire woman lied to a boss about her telling me and she did not tell me anything about not bringing anything in long story short they would not let me leave with my mirror without paying for it my mirror this is a mirror snaps no tools required why would I go into a yard with tools and snapped off something from a car its ridiculous anyway Im never going back to and I sure will let other people know not to go there its just that experience for me I dont know how they operate but they have my mirror so whatever
They want to much$$ for parts you pull yourself
The automatic machine that answer work so bad. You’re gonna have to go there if you want to know something. Ask for your zip code? I dont know why but it does, i hope i can speak with others stores
A lot better than the Aurora one. At least people wear masks and try to keep others safe.
The only thing I have to say is they need to update their website because it says they open at 8:00 and on the door it says they open at 9:00 other than that great location love the place
I am a senior and they didnt give me the discount. I also feel that I was over charged by about 3 times what the product was worth
Well I am out here for love the place
Its a super mess here & expensive too but they got what your looking for
They charge an admission fee to get in. What a freaking joke. Im not paying anyome an admission fee to buy parts from them. Keep that. Ill keep my money and take it to your competition. Bad idea on your part. Youll lose money and customers.
I called to ask for part pricing and compatibility before heading over and I must say Xiomara was a wonderful representative and really helped me out without making me feel undercharged ( not much of a car person ). Was able to find several parts and it was a reasonable price!
Enjoyed the staff and the yard was a little scattered but organized ... I went for VW parts and most were in one area (the ones that werent the staff told me prior to my release on the yard) thank you lkq
I am working on a couple of project cars 🚗 thought I would take a look and see if they had anything I could use, yep they sure did
Great experience with everyone around. The customers a little cutthroat but get here early and ask about which rows fresh this week. Great little lot with mostly 2000 and newer, but check online inventory and find that part to complete your project.
Was looking for 3 different vehicles their site said they had 2-3 of each, so i paid the fee and went in. Sure enough they only had 1 of the vehicles I was looking for and it wasnt even one that was listed. I verified at the front that that the inventory I saw online was for their store which they said yes, so I asked why it was different than what they actually had and the guy said it wasnt his problem. I tried to get my gate fee back since I was baited to going in when they didnt have what was listed and offered no explanation which they said I shouldve verified what they had before I went in, which makes no sense. Needless to say I didnt get that back. Hopefully this place will become somewhat competent like they used to be, till then be careful they doilnt bait you in either with fake inventory.
The warranty is great
Grateful for your expansive lot of cars to pick from. Much tear down has been done by previous customers, so you shouldnt have a problem finding what you need.
Perfect customer service at the front desk the lady is very respectful dont know her name she is the African American lady ..and the guy who check the parts and mark them a young guy who wears a hat ..thank you guys....PERFECT
Helpful staff the formal prices great place if you need to fix your car
Expensive !!! you could get parts online for cheaper
Good place to go to get parts as long as somebody else hasnt already rifled through the cars and broken the things you want
The website has everything I needed!
I was very disappointed the girl on the phone told me they had 2 trucks the same as mine and I drive 4 hours to get there and they tell me they didnt have them 8 hours wasted
Worst service in the industry
This location is getting into deceptive business practices. I was there a few days ago bought parts worth about $125. I realized that I was charged an extra $38 for 90 days warranty! At first, I thought it is an easy case and honest mistake by them so I went back to the cashier and told him that I dont want an extra warranty and demanded a refund. He then said there is nothing they can do! He was saying that he told me that the 90 days warranty is on my receipt. I dont remember if he said so but even by saying that it does NOT mean anything because this is an extra services & upselling that needs the buyers permission and explanations but he had automatically charged me for that! Also, there are a lot of spanish spoken customers coming to this place and they need to be cleared on this extra optional fees as well. Then, I decided to go to the higher up. The funny part is that the assistant manager was very rude when I asked for the refund and said the same thing and asked me to leave his office! He then asked me not to come to their place anymore or he would call the police for trespassing! I became assailant instead of a victim! Making the story short, I am going to complain to Colorado attorney general and I advice that anyone else who has had the same experience to do so. My next action is to notify LKQ corporation regard this.
Nice well run salvage yard with courteous employees.
Rude to the customer before me who couldnt speak english as I was trying to help then ignored me and asked for the next customer assuming it was the guy behind me and when I came up and asked my question the dude didnt even bother to look at me. Like cmon man, I was even trying to help you and you do me dirty like that. Wack.
The issue that I have had was after the sale. I was actually paid a fair price for my vehicle, I signed over the title and wanted to move on with my life. I got a call two weeks later from my mechanic stating that the vehicle was still there. So I called LKQ and tried to let them know. What resulted from there was two days of anger and frustration as I was called a liar etc. because they Would never purchase a vehicle without picking it up.Due to how I was treated while just trying to do the honest and right thing, I will NEVER deal with this company again or give it any good press to anyone.
Ive been there once or twice
Its ok..the lot is not very organized
Found what I was looking for with ease, and a good price. Employees were very nice.
It would be 5 stars if the staff had any kind of customer service skills at all. Prices are fair inventory is huge but the staff is easily the worse I have ever come across in any kind if customer base business. They are rude. Dont care about what you the paying customer needs are in any way. Their knowledge of anything is non existance. If you can get past that then its a good place to get second hand parts.
The part selection is okay, was really disappointed that a big corporation cant list their CORRECT hours online, showed up at 8:00 am on a Saturday just to have to wait till 9:00 for the junk yard to open, that can be very frustrating, its typical nowadays for lots of businesses to do this but also shows you how little they care about us (the consumers) by not valuing our time, especially on a weekend day. Besides the bad listing of hours of operation, the junk yard is okay. Not the best price compared to Colorado auto parts or u pull n pay, but still reasonable (kind of) if they have something you need you will pay it because it will still save you money from new, Dont read this thinking This place sucks because it doesnt, just realize its a corporation and its about numbers, not people.
They were helpful & polite.
Lots of great deals!
Large selection very easy to find late model parts. I picked several parts on a Saturday and was there till closing time. I didnt get a chance to price and decifer what I really needed so I just bought it all. After checking out purchased parts I determined what I could use and returned the rest. The staff was great and refunded my unwanted parts without any problem. I would definitely check LKQ out if your in the market for cheaper auto parts.🐼Glenn.😀😀😀
Impossible to get a local number to check to see if they have a part on a vehicle that the website shows they have. Very frustrating experience. Just trying to save myself a 40 mile drive for nothing. Absolutely no help at the main call center. Agent even tried to call internally, and they wouldnt pick up...what a waste of time.
Great people and prices. Lots of cars and trucks to chose from
Place is well organized and easy to maneuver. Reasonable prices
We have been going to the federal location for 20 years the people who work there most of them have been there as long or longer. They are great people very helpful and if you have a part that needs returned they do it with no issues. I was reading a lot of these comments and as long as you have your receipts and the mark on the part they will exchange or give your money back. This is a pull your own parts place they are not there to go search the rows to look for something you need. Its a salvage yard not a part store. So if your not happy dont go there because trust me they wont miss you.
This junkyard charges you a $2 fee for the privilege of entering their yard and looking at their junk. No indication from the attendant if that fee is reimbursed if the yard doesnt have the part you need. Ill look elsewhere for my used parts.
Lots of cars but not as organized as other LKQ yards. Other locations have the rows clearly marked with lettered signs
Saved me a lot of time and money.
Very dirty poor selection
Pyps are good this one even has an app. The car i was there for wasnt there but still a good system. By far the best organized lot Ive ever seen, sorted by make. I know they cant help it but i wish people would stop just cutting off pieces of harness, because thats the piece i need.
Driver almost hit me on arapahoe this morning and then passed me on the left side inti traffic to get past me. I was driving the speed limit
My experience with the employees, it was very enlightening to see people who really cared and took the time to say thank you. I was able to get all my parts I needed at a price that wasnt so outrageous that it made my toes curl. I will definitely recommend this facility to those of you who need parts.
Need to update inventory and answer the phones
Husband went and bought a reconditioned battery from this place for my car. We tried it and it didn’t work. We took the battery up to autozone and they said that the battery was a bad one.Husband went back LKQ to see if they could swap out and actually give us a good battery or give us our money back but they insisted that it was a good battery when it wasn’t so they didn’t exchange nor give us our money back.We went up to Rocky Mountain Battery Services for ANOTHER battery. Worked like a charm!Don’t recommend getting a battery from LKQ.
Great pick and pull yard. Costs $2 to get in to the lot, then you take your tools and pull off whatever you need. Bring it up to the counter and you pay based on what the published cost is. They will answer any questions you have before you decide if you want to pay the $2. The staff deals with people in person and on the phone at the same time, the phones were ringing off the hook on Saturday, but they were quick to help anyone there in person. Call if you have to, but youre better off just going in person.
Very disappointed!!!!! It says that the open at 8:00am we got here the sign says 9:00am!!!!!.waste of time.
Staff was grumpy, large selection of vehicles. Unfortunately lots of butchery done to the vehicles to get to the parts someone wanted.
I was very disappointed in the fact that the fork lift ruins everything rear drive shaft on every pickup it lifts into the yard and that I found one that hadnt been ruined yet but I couldnt get it because if I did everyone else would want to get a part before it is carried into the yard. F*#@@*** really! All I know is that is a lie and a very poor way to do business . The only people who would want to get a part before it is carried in are people looking for a rear drive shaft that isnt ruined like me. Duh!
If youre looking for a used auto part i highly recommend this specific lkq. Friendly, helpful, and clean/well organized.
This was my first time trying to get a part from a junkyard and it could not have gone more poorly. I called and ordered the master window switch cluster and he said it would be ready for pickup that day. I went to pick it up and he said it was at a different warehouse and to come back the next day so I did. They still didnt have it ready and they told me to come back the next day. I went back the NEXT day and they had only pulled one single switch not the whole cluster after I had specified multiple times. Long story longer, I had to go back SIX TIMES and they STILL didnt have the simple part pulled or ready and had lost my order. I asked for a refund and they agreed but I never got it so I had to call the following week and thankfully I had asked for a receipt (which they didnt have but he wrote the number down on a sticky note). I was never rude or snappy any time I went in and they never apologized after the whole nightmare. I will never go here again to find a part.
Download the app its super useful. Know whats in the yard before you go in.
An employee was very rude he threw my tools and used parts from my friend’s suv. He claimed that they were his but it’s obvious it was mine because I wouldn’t be crazy enough to buy a scratched plastic bin that I was using to hold my lug nuts. He said that it wasn’t marked. I didn’t know a container had to be marked because the lady in the entrance didn’t make sure to mark it. I didn’t need anyway but it was very rude and it was most likely caught on camera. Most of the other employees seem nice but this guy was very rude he might’ve been a PM manager.
So I get there at 4.30 and they tell me they are closed even do says at 5. I ask if times was right and old gentleman and old lady tell me to to scramble fast or they will tow my car for being in a private property after hours. like do they have thru every single isle of cars and clean or put parts backs? I mean I dont think they need to be that rude or close that early to count maybe 1000 bucks worth of sale. what a shame. I heard the staff was rude and Ill say yes they are
This place I tried not to be here unless my last option. You need to sell your things. I can go elsewhere, try to lighten up your faces. Prices are higher than the brand new one. Examples. ...hood brand new is 55 bucks you are selling a faded paint and peals for 67 dollars plus core charge and environment charge. Wow.Brand new frt bumper cover is 50 bucks you are selling it lots of scratches and one tear area for 37 dollars? ? plus environment charge . Give everyone of us just a tiny bit of courtesy. Its why this place is in the bottom of my list.
I order from them a air box cleaner, we are a shop and they promise to be deliverd on 8/16/18 but the driver never came, i call today morning and the part was not even in the truck. i had to give my costumer free labor because the part was not deliver when they said it was and i had promised the car to be ready for 8/13/18. we try not to buy anything from here unless is very necessary. i dont really recommend this place
Nice place to find parts
Ive been there plenty of times, came here while on the phone with them and was amazed by the phone reviews. I knew what I was calling about and got my quote in seconds. It was fine on the phone.Only downside of this place Ive noticed over the years is that some of the imports can sit there too long, after anything useful is picked. Probably just a supply issue. Always seem to churn through the domestic cars and have PLENTY of them.
The staff seemed irrated. But overall there good people and let me use there Jack I was never disrespected. Price is fair also.
Great prices and selection.would be a 5 star review but everyone there seems a bit short. I imagine they have to answer countless stupid questions a day though so i didnt take it personally.
I found what I was looking for. Looks like their cars still have parts to fix yours.
Bought a part, was the wrong part and they happily gave me my money back, no questions asked. Hopefully tomorrow will be better on getting the correct part. Not their fault.
