I went to a few Dealers in the area looking for a car for my son. Nothing but issues until I made it to Daytona Mazda.Spoke to Mr. Bice on the phone told him a price range and what I was looking for as payments. He told me to come look at a car and he can make the numbers work for us. ( Too good to be true ?). So there we are in the dealership and Im thinking here we go again. Another dealership #5 for the day.The car was already out side waiting for a test drive. My son went for a test drive with another salesman and I spoke with Mr. Bice. He said should have come here first. Im thinking ( yeah Ive heard that before )Son came back and was looking at the car, I went to look at it and for being a used car with 10k miles not even a scratch.... for the price I was stunned to see the price. I guess there is a first time for everything- I normally dont leave reviews.My experience was HANDS DOWN the best experience Ive ever had buying a car... Was in and out of there in two and a half hours, achieved an amazing deal on my Mazda, and never felt pressured or manipulated. Jacoby was great and I highly recommend asking for him.I have bought about ten cars at various dealerships throughout my lifetime. I guess you could every couple years or so... I Like the new technology and safety in newer cars. Ill be back to this dealership in two to three years when Im ready to buy a car again.

I’ve been getting oil changes and other basic maintenance services at Daytona Mazda ever since buying my car there. Prices are a bit higher than elsewhere but I like the fact that there is a solid record of maintenance uploaded to Carfax, reminders are sent in a timely fashion, the service agents are friendly, and the waiting area is clean and pleasant, with coffee and tea available (though on my recent visit, there were no snacks to accompany the beverages, as there used to be). My only complaint (and associated suggestion) is that there are hidden fees added to the prices listed for services so the final invoice is higher than you planned on based on the advertised and posted price lists. I would much prefer fully transparent pricing with any costs for “shop supplies”, or “disposal”, or whatever else is involved in the service factored directly into the advertised prices. These added costs are obviously well known to the dealership, and adding them as “fees” and not factoring them into the price ahead of time is simply misleading, annoying, and disappointingly shady.

Outstanding professionalism and service! They showed me what problems I had with my car but, they did not try to upsell me. This was very apparent to me since the day before I took my wifes car to the Toyoda dealer and they tried to sell me everything from cabin filters to wiper blades on a practically new car!I also felt a short video of the service on my car was impressive you got the car in and out very quickly and it it was even washed! To quote Arnold, Ill be back!

Went in to test drive new vehicles. Girl took us straight to pre-owned, multiple times we said brand new, still told us it’s a better deal for pre-owned. Waited over an hour to test drive a car and wanted paperwork on different vehicles. Instead made us wait longer and came back with a price for a vehicle and wanted us to sign it. We said nope and got up to leave, finally she said oh I can get you some pamphlets. Went to leave and our own car wouldn’t start after letting them appraise it. Quite coincidental. I bought 2 Mazda’s and I wouldn’t buy from here.

TL;DR: avoid if possible, double check everything they say, watch out for unnecessary services and fees.I stopped by to shop for a Mazda CX-5 lease here, and left empty-handed in a very bad mood.The sales reps were kind to take me one of the models I choose for a test drive. During the test drive some claimed features didnt work (e.g. lane departure warning, and lane-keep assist system) and the sales rep claimed this was due to some GPS chip being missing on this car, but I am very not sure if this is true (also why do you list those features if they dont work).After the test drive is where things went south. First, I was asked to sign some paper which looked like I agree to buy a car from them but didnt have the car price (or lease details in this case) listed. After refusing to sign it I was told it is just a formality and my signature is needed to run the credit history checks. Which, as you can imagine, was a lie. In the end, they came up with a number that is ~$10,000 higher than what I got from truecar.com for the same model at the same location. In addition, they didnt disclose all the details of the car they offered (i.e. which extra options/packages it has) and included some extra coverage I havent asked for.Suddenly, they started to threaten me with a paper I signed as a formality to run credit checks, where they added contract numbers with a marker AFTER I SIGNED THE PAPER.I am giving it two stars as the initial interaction with the sales rep was pleasant, and the location was clean. Do your research before you come to them and be prepared to go into war mode during price negotiation, as the only thing they seem to care about is to make extra money at all costs.As somebody mentioned among these reviews, you are not important to them as a customer.P.S.As per truecar.com documents fee at this location is $900 which is $100 higher than at Orlando, so it might be worth a trip there.

I was totally impressed with my experience today. Kudos to Albert and newcomer Ken.Albert totally worked for the commission without BSing me, as per my request. We’ve bought 500000 cars so I don’t need to be marketed with overused salesman lines about how much they were invoiced for the vehicle etc. I’m there to wheel and deal and either we come to terms or we don’t. It’s just a car.The vehicle was technically for my husband but I handle all the finances so I’m usually the ‘talker.’It was the quickest I’ve ever been through a dealer and we buy cars every 2-3 years.

Customer Care has really gone down hill. Consistently poor attitude from service desk and now charging for battery replacement for key fobs... Theyve become the spirit airlines of dearlerships... you got what you paid for, everything else will cost you in $$ or poor service.

I wanted to get a fun cheap convertible weekend car, and I opted for a used Mazda Miata. They had the perfect car for me in the color, trim and mileage I wanted. The price was very fair. I saw two other Miatas at other Dealerships that needed a fair amount of work (new paint, new convertible top and leather seats with rips and higher mileage). The price was only $1,000 less for these cars that I saw at other dealerships. I got an awesome deal for the price at Daytona Mazda. The seats look like they were reconditioned- perfect no rips. The car had 35,000 less miles than one of the other cars I saw. Paint job looks gorgeous for a 13 year car! I took too long to decide if I wanted to put the time and money fixing the other cars up, and both got snagged by someone else. Good things come to those who wait! As soon asI test drove Lucille, I knew she had to be mine! She looks like a show car! I did notice 2 small rips in the convertible top, but decided I’d put up with it and address it later. That was really the only issue with the car. Trent who was my salesman was patient with me re-learning how to drive a stick shift after years of not driving one. He was accommodating, knowledgeable and made the deal happen! I purchased the car but the dealership didn’t want me to have the car until they fixed the latch on the convertible top which was broke and one of the window motors didn’t work. They even delivered my car from Daytona to Tampa for free! Trent told me they employ retired Vets to deliver cars all around the country. I love that! Soooo I receive the car and I’m inspecting it and the rips in the convertible top were gone! I asked Trent if they fixed them. He told me they did. They didn’t make a big deal about it, they just did it. You can judge a business based on what they do when you are not looking. I was floored they did that for me! I only wish I lived closer to Daytona! I believe this dealership runs on honor and doing the right thing. Daytona is lucky to have them!
After 11 years in a car I loved my son and I test drove a lot of new cars. I did not have a Mazda in mind even when I test drove the first time. BUT, of all the salespersons we encountered in our month of looking I kept saying Cat Garrity was the best of all. We went back for a second test drive and I decided that with CAT as my teacher I could conquer the many new learnings and close the gap from 2010. She is outstanding!! She is heads and shoulders above any others. SO - I bought a Mazda. Thanks CAT!!!
After sales experience is pathetic. I was promised a tankful of gas, and I was told by the salesperson to comeback anytime. I called to give them a heads up that I was stopping by on Saturday. I arrived at 12. At 1 PM, still had not heard from the salesperson. At 1:05 another salesperson approached me and said he was told to gas up my car.Poor customer service!

Recently purchased from them.The car is awesome, sales manager Chris was great sales guy Jacobey was awesome, deal was satisfactory then theres the finance drunk...This guy was a total tool, he was two sheets to the wind if you know what I mean.My wife and I are no saints but the guy was swearing like he knew us for 25 years and we were catching up at a bar. Super unprofessionalHe waisted 1 1/2 hours of our time trying to sell us a service plan that we might have bought if he wasnt so anoying and drunk.Its like when your with intoxicated people and your not? It was that scene.Wouldnt usually say anything that would jeopardize a mans job but, nobody really needs to go through that when youre buying a new car. Supposed to be a happy exciting time not left with memories that.Anyways we love the CX-30 we purchased and hope for the best for all.Would have gave 5 Stars if it werent for the finance guy. 😒
Daytona Mazda always provides me with exceptional customer service when getting my car serviced. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The customer lounge is cozy and well stocked with hot beverages, water, and snacks. As a special note, all employees wore masks during my latest visit.
Service has always been great. The only issue is that due to a shortage of technicians, service has been difficult to schedule in the short term. Additionally, loaner vehicles have taken 3 days. Otherwise a 5* would be the rating.
I would avoid Daytona Mazda if you are in the market for a used car. Dont be fooled by the glitz of this dealership. You could probably get better customer service and honesty from a rundown buy here pay here used car lot. One thing I can say with !00% honesty and all sarcasim aside, do not believe the statement that you will read on the online vehicle summary.All of our vehicles are ASE Certified inspected so you can buy with confidence from Daytona Mazda.I found out and suspect other unlucky buyers also have found the above statement to be simply untrue. I was already to buy a 2015 BMW X1, quick test complete, what do I have to worry about with a guarantee like that? This dealership is top drawer, they look the part and act the part. Price is locked in, just have to bring back full payment and sign the paperwork the next day.Trent Lerdo calls me and tells me there is a leak in the AC unit and it will cost $1400 to repair. But he wants ME to pay the $1400 repair bill. I have never quite figured out why someone who is selling a car has to keep going back to their boss to see if they can work out a deal. My advice, have your boss sell the car. We moved to, can I just pay half, then to can I just pay $453 dollars to repair an evaporator gone bad on a car that was ASE Certified Inspected and that I dont even own yet! You may now well understand my back alley buy here pay here reference. No apology, nothing, only one disengenous call after another. WOW... Daytona Mazda.... Great or even good customer service is if you have a problem, fix it, own it, dont make it your customers problem. Daytona Mazda aka Trent Lerdo allowed a $20,445.00 (paid in full) deal walk away over $1400 repair bill. Great Customer Service there guys, way to go.
I went here for the service department. Everyone was always pleasant when they they were speaking to me. However, they tried to charge me a 900 service repair for a 100 part. A part that is very close to being recalled!

My Check Engine Light came on weeks after they completed expensive work on my car because the same light came on. I dropped my car off on a Friday morning and received no updates until 5 PM saying the diagnostic work was not complete. Monday I received no update and when I called I was told the tech did not come in that day. My car was finally ready Tuesday at 5. I was planning on buying a new Mazda this week but instead I just bought a new Acura!

While this was not a deal breaker I would have appreciated honesty from the person who worked on my dash to fix it, overall great experience and they were very responsive and polite when I brought this to their attention, again a testament to Dana!

My only advice is to be VERY careful when purchasing a car from this dealership. My wife and I had picked out a vehicle, obtained financing and made contact with a sales person on which vehicle we wanted (via their website inventory) to help make the process much easier and faster since we were coming from Orlando and its about an hour drive.Once we arrived we were greeted by our sales person and almost at the same time another person came up and said the car we wanted was broken. When I asked what he meant he had nothing else to say other than it was broken and they couldnt sell it to us.To my surprise they had already moved another vehicle to the front and they did everything to try and get us into it, but it was not what we wanted.My first question was they knew we wanted a particular car and if the one we wanted was broken why did they not call or text letting us know... Well of course the shady nature of this car dealership was to get us there and maybe we would end up getting something.After I rejected the car they wanted me to buy we ended up going out onto the lot to look at another model that was pretty close to what I wanted. The car that was broken to my surprise was still on the lot with all the for sale stickers so my guess is it wasnt broken they just did not want us to get this car and I have no idea as to why.After my wifes coaxing we settled on another year of the same make and model and went in to start the paperwork.After about a half hour the sales person informed us we would need to pay up front for the tax, tag and title as this could not be financed. Again another shady lie. I pulled out my pre-approval letter which broke it all down and indeed the tax, tag and title COULD be financed and in fact was included in our approval letter.At this point I was done being lied to. Its not so much the lies, but the fact that they thought I was stupid enough to buy their bull. We gathered out things and headed for the door. Of course they came running and I was angry enough to not hold back and called them liars and that I couldnt do business with them. Long story short on this part they increased the trade in values to both vehicles we were trading so back to waiting it was.Finally after about an hour it was our turn to head into the finance managers office to complete all the paperwork. Here comes lie number three! The finance manager started to go over an extended warranty and when I stopped him and said we didnt need or want it he replied that we had no choice as the bank required it. It wasnt until about a week after the purchase we discovered this was absolutly not true. The engine light has now come on and when I pulled out the extended warranty to see if what was going would be covered its right there in big black and white letters... Rejecting the extended warranty will not affect your ability to obtain financing. Sigh. That was a $2500 mistake.Im looking into any legal options I might have as they clearly lied and robbed us. To make matters worse throughout the entire signing process the finance manager was constantly dropping the F word. We are not prudes and use the word ourselves from time to time, but you expect a certain level of professionalism. Guess not with Daytona Mazda.Im hoping this rather lengthy review might help someone else out there avoid their lies. If they did it to us they can do it to anyone and Im pretty sure they do it often.People just be careful when dealing with Mazda. Read everything before you sign. If something seems off - it is. Run. Dont walk. Run. I wish I had ran when I was told the car I wanted was broken.

Though it took just a little longer than expected, the service department did an excellent job getting everything done right, and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the work done on my Mazda. The service manager is a class act, and I look forward to bringing my car back to them in the near future.

Do not trust this dealership they run an advertisement saying zero down or pay 5000 over Kelley blue book just to get you win they said I’ll pay off your trade but it’s a lot it’s just a scam to get you in and then they’ll require you to put money down sign all the paperwork just to tell you know after they falsely advertise on Facebook

I find the employees at Daytona Mazda to always be pleasant and very helpful. I do think there should be masks worn by all and recycle containers inside and outside. That to me would show Mazda does care.
