Dave and Mitch are the most honest mechanics I’ve ever met! On more than one occasion they have helped me with concerns for my car as a quick walk in (more than one car actually) and not recommend something that doesn’t need to be done. Or allow me to pour money into something that isn’t worth it! I will never ever go anywhere else!

Off all the repair shops I tried to get a specific job done on my Ford truck, no one really knew the trick to do it correctly and cost effectively. Special Forces had the best price, and when I questioned them if they were familiar with the job (because I previously got some crazy high prices and reasons) they had an answer that was genius! They did the job on time and at the stated price. Im a believer!

I took my wife’s 07’ suburban in for a noise issue coming from the front end, as well as sloppiness in the handling. The initial inspection uncovered faulty suspension components which needed replacing. The end result is a much smoother ride with improved steering stability and noticeable breaking improvement.Very pleased with the work performed on our family vehicle.

I needed my drive shaft balanced. I couldn’t find anyone in Volusia county who does this. I found Special Forces by accident but sure glad I did. I went into Special Forces Automotive and met the owner Mitch. I told him what I wanted and he immediately took my drive shaft back and started working on it. The service advisor took me back to Mitch who let me watch as he balanced my driveshaft. What a great guy. Professional, polite, informative and helpful as soon as I walked in. These guys are incredible. They are too honest to be in the automotive business! Unfortunately I just found these guys and wish I would’ve known them for years. All of my company vehicles will now be taken to special forces for anything and everything! They were 75% cheaper than ford to do the same work and as thorough as they are I’m sure the quality is 100 times better! Couldn’t Recommend these guys enough!

My duramax went into safe mode on I95 trust me it is not safe. Got off the highway and down to and to the safety of Special Forces. They did a scan and cleared my codes. I brought it back Monday and they couldn’t get any codes after driving the truck 40 miles. After spending all that time and effort they wouldn’t charge me anything. Try that with a dealer some time. They wouldn’t even take a tip to buy donuts. Very smart guys

My pick up truck has pulled to the left since it was purchased in 2007. I only have 37k miles on it and Im on my third set of tires. After several attempts at local tire stores, these guys finally got it right! A BIG THANKS to you! This is the best it has driven since new!

Knowledgeable and professional. I wrench on my own things, I don’t trust a lot of people and if I needed these guys I would trust them. I brought my driveshaft from my super duty in that needed to be balanced, rephased and new spicer u joints installed....turn around time was absolutely quick. Dave and Mitch were a pleasure to deal with and were able to quickly identify my driveshaft issue visually off the rip. Installed after picking it up, truck is smooth again at all RPMs. Absolutely satisfied.👍🏻

Local Power Sports Dealer here. I have a 2000 E350 with a 7.3L that I drive daily. To anyone else this thing is a POS, but to me it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. I have been looking for a place to do maintenance on it in the area but have been hesitant to let anyone touch it. I would normally do the work myself but I don’t have the time and these vans are a bear to work on. Special Forces gets an A+ for customer service and I will be returning for regular work. Now if I can only have the same confidence with my new Ford Expedition at Ford.

I have been using Special Forces to service our Fleet vehicles for several years now. I can tell you they are knowledgeable and honest. The owner Mitch is a super nice man and very helpful when explaining things regarding repairs needed. Save yourself a lot of heartaches and take your diesel vehicle here vs the large dealers in the area that do nothing more than figure out how best to charge you the most amount of money.

Wow unbelievable service!! Drove 6hrs for the Daytona truck meet 2k19, arrived and blew #2 injector feed line called said bring it by well check it out, had me in and out the door same day in 2hrs! Great price, super friendly, great service without a doubt would recommend to anyone local or out town.

Nothing, but great things to say about this service shop. I was having issues with my battery terminal and took it to Ford dealer that wanted to charge me $800 for parts and labor. Special Forces got my truck fixed for 1/4 of the price and with way better customer service than what I received at the Ford dealership. These guys are a great group and will take good care of you. THEY ARE HONEST! (thats hard to find in auto service industry)

They know thier stuff. I needed a special u-jount, the had it, and they installed for me in 30 min.

I was traveling and had to get my truck checked out. These guys were more than helpful and put my truck at the front of the line to get me back on the road. Everyone here in port orange recommended them and so do I. These guys are a blessing and some really good people.

After learning a lesson at a fly by night shop in the area, I ended going to Special Forces to clean up the mess that the other so called shop left me with. For the record, never, I repeat, NEVER go to Dependable Diesel in holly hill. Anyways, these guys are great and resolved my issue in one service, where as the other guy rudely sent me away after the third try.Lesson learned: stick with established, ASE certified mechanics.

I always make an appointment to have my vehicle serviced, as its always better to have an appointment but they do take in walk in customers. Sometimes you do have to wait a little longer but I would rather wait and know that the mechanic is using quality parts and getting the job right the first time. Always a good experience there with Mitch and the guys. My questions about parts or the service I am having done is always explained by Mitch or his knowledgeable Techs.

I highly recommend this shop. We were driving though with a 2009 Prism RV when it threw an injector electrical code and went into limp mode. The next morning, we found Special Forces on the web with a high Google rating. They took us in within 15 minutes and the owner, Mitch, proceeded to diagnose the problem and examine all of the components that might produce the code. The engine was running smoothly when we came in and Mitch was unable to pinpoint an obvious problem, other than perhaps the injector itself. Rather than hold us up another day to order the expensive part, he suggested that we swap the injector with another one, to see if the problem followed the injector. End result, we drove another 1200 miles on this trip with no repeat of the problem. Perhaps it was a loose connection or an electrical glitch. His efforts will allow us to to know for sure, if it fails again.

Truck troubles while on vacation and these guys came through for us so we could check out and get on the road on time. Friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. I spoke with a couple of locals who spoke highly of this shop.

Be CAREFUL who you trust and listen too and where you spend your money.. Dont believe there warranty. Had them to fix a headgasket and after there was air bubbles in the cooling system. At home the headgasket got replaced a second time and the machine shop proved what I thought that it never was machined bevor. So end off story is that they charged me for machine work what never been done and than refused to do it on warranty again. They tried and tell me that the air bubbles in the cooling system must be normal and therefore be ok! Besides that you got lied strait in the face and they took the money for work what was not done. It should be embarrassing that a amateur can to better work than a professional shop. My advise to everyone is NOT to even Think about to go there and have anykind off work done, not even checken your tire pressure. This guys can not be trusted at all !!!!!!!!!

Not sure what to think, local Cummins dealer recommended this group, I do a lot of maintenance having a 2016 ram with 550,000 miles on it. And of the five or six times I’ve called Special Forces to get an idea of what work would cost I have never gotten a phone call back.Not sure what that’s about and I definitely don’t want to go to the dealer
