My recent visit to Daytona Hyundai on September 21, 2021 was excellent in every way. I had an appointment scheduled for the following week, but developed a slow leak in my right rear tire and had to stop by earlier. I was told that the service area would be open at 7:30, but I arrived at about 7:10 a.m. and in less than 30 seconds I was greeted by Adam Burke, the Service Advisor. Even at that early hour in the morning, he had a smile on his face and was willing to help. He took care of my tire and even completed the service that I had scheduled for the following week. I have always had excellent service visits at Daytona Hyundai, but I thought Adam Burkes customer service was really excellent this visit. He deserves special kudos.

So recently I picked up a brand new 2022 Tucson while visiting from NYC with the help of maybe the best sales person I’ve ever done business with Basel. He’s young & has a promising future not just in the automotive industry. Basel is very calm & at no point do you feel pressed to make a fast decision. He takes the time to listen & he’s very responsive throughout the whole process. In Florida so many NYC dealers are relocating an they’re attempting to bring that same aggressive NYC attitude with them that I’m trying to stay away from. First salesman was worse one ever. Some young kid who didnt listen to his customer. I hope he learns from the experience. Charlie the sales manager and Ian the second salesman were great. So was Mikel the finance manager. Once the adults could work together it went well, So well my niece bought a car there a day later, our friend went a couple days later, I went back and almost bought another car a week later. I will be returning and referring people there.

I reached out to Daytona Hyundai about a Palisade, they didnt have any at the time but Basel called me as soon as they were unloading one to send me photos and give me all of the details. The sales staff and financing staff were all amazing, shout out to Basel, Eric, Alex and Mike. I was able to do a bunch remotely and they made it really seamless even with a guarantor business purchase. Daytona hyundai has a lot of flaws. Cars will always be listed at execellent value on their kbb offer. Whether the car is in poor, fair or good.They take advantage off you.Used cars arent checked fully before put up for sale on their lot...I regret dealing with this location
So this is going to be a strange review because i didnt actually decide to buy a car through hyundai. However the experience i had there was nothing short of marvelous. If you do go to hyundai daytona ask for ian lepak. Youll know him but his beard, light hearted attitude, and great personality. Truly a pleasure to do a test drive with and was very informative and a great guy.

The management team at Daytona Hyundai are a bunch of liars! From the owner who never called me back to all the sales managers who said they would take the car I bought back since they lied to me about the cost being MSRP but ripped me for an additional 2 grand! They are extremely unprofessional!

Went to look at Hyundais after looking at Kias and Mitsubishis. Getting Atmy daughter her first car. The other dealerships, when the salesman came up, we exchanged greetings and I let them know I was only looking and didnt want or need help. At that point they left me and my daughter alone.When we arrived at Daytona Hyundai, it started the same way but went negative in a hurry. The salesman started following us. I stopped and told him again that I didnt need or want assistance. He just started on with a sales pitch. We walked on and he kept following and talking going between sales pitch and questions, which I wasnt answering. I asked again, more aggressively myself, to quit following us. It didnt work. He stayed with us and kept asking questions.I gathered up my group and started heading towards my truck when I decided to talk to the manager. I told him to get the manager and while standing there, other salesmen came up and when I told them what was going on, they just shook their heads. After waiting for a manager, who never came out to talk to me, the salesman tried to get my name and number. I told him I would call the next day. The next day I did call and asked for the owner. I was sent to Glen Ritchey Jrs voicemail and explained what happened. I have yet to receive a return call. Its the rudest experience Ive had with a salesman since experiencing it with Glen Ritchey Chevrolet.
Worse customer service, got the 24/7 assistance insurance that do not even answer the call. Went for oil change 2 days later my Hyundai Santa Fe did not start call the 24/7 assistance that never answer, rings busy at the dealership no one help you have to take care on my own tow the car to a mechanic who advise it was the battery so change it all done. Why bring your car for maintenance if they are not able to tell you whats wrong with it. Again worse service ever

My wife and I had leased a 2014 Sonata and a 2016 Azera from our local Hyundai dealer. That dealership was sold to a corporate conglomerate and every time we visited since they sold this dealership we were underwhelmed by the sales teams. We ended up moving to Ford.Fast forward 3 years (our Ford Explorer lease was up) and my wife said can we go to Hyundai again and see what happens? A 10 minute drive, a 2 hour test drive and consult resulted in our receiving a PDF in our email with a price that was not at all worthy of our attention. What to do next? My wife likes Hyundai and really liked the Santa Fe. I decided to call Daytona Hyundai which is an over 35 minute drive for us and see if they would treat us any different. Over the phone the first sales person gave the impression that they were not making any deals because their cars were selling so quickly. Frustration began to manifest.A couple of days later, with our Ford Lease ending in less than a month, I decided to call Daytona Hyundai back and see if perhaps another person would be more helpful. We are so glad I did. Providence was shining down on us.Enter Basel Abusad, a young and energetic man with a real desire to help people get the car they wanted. He was completely honest and up front about the limited inventory but also suggested we come and look at what they had on the lot. We arrived and he had the 2021 Santa Fe Hybrid HTrac waiting for us. In less than 5 minutes my wife and I were driving this car around Daytona as Basel politely answered our questions and pointed out the features this model provided. Having never driven a hybrid before, we had a lot of questions and he was more than able to answer them all.Back at the dealership he was able to provide us with our price for both lease and purchase within 30 minutes. From that point another 1 hour and we were driving this wonderful car off the lot.They gave us a great deal on the Ford Explorer and an excellent interest rate on the loan.We have had to deal with car dealerships for over 40 years. For the most part the process has been arduous and often nightmarish. We are so grateful to find a dealership that treats us so well and provides us with the service and product we desire.If I could give Basel a 10 star review I would! If you dont ask for him, you are cheating yourself out of a great car buying experience.

Thought I had found a great car, 2013 with low miles and only one minor blemish on the back bumper. We were promised the car had been through a complete inspection and worked great.The problem first started when the price online didn’t match the price the Sales Manager gave us. Once that was brought up, his entire attitude changed, agitated he was “losing money” and the car was “being stolen” at that price. Once we got the car back home, the tire pressure on one of the tires was below 20. Fast forward to the next day, the AC and heat on the car do not work. Upon driving another 50 miles to have to bring the car back, the service department let us know that the car had only had 4 things checked on it when they brought it in. They sent the car somewhere else to be worked on and 10 days later we were able to pick up the car. Picked up the car last night and noticed a different tire was completely flat and a hole in the wheel well cover that was not there before. When asked about it, they had no clue how to answer. In the daylight today, it’s noticed there are many new scratches including paint chips that were not there. After speaking with our salesmen, he said that the manager said we should have brought it up the night before(while it was dark and were focused on a flat tire that should have been checked before calling us that it was ready). From start to finish this has been horrible and I’ve been beyond disappointed with this dealership and multiple staff that work there.Save your time and money, do not buy a car from them! There are too many honest and helpful dealerships in the area to be treated the way we were.
First i would like to say that my dealings with Daytona Hyundai and especially My salesman John Nashmy were the best i have ever had while buying a car. I absolutely love my 2019 Honda Accord. Mr. Nashmy was incredibly knowledgeable when it came to this car even though he works at a Hyundai dealership. He went over all the option slowly to make sure i understood everything this car had to offer. This was the most enjoyable experience i have ever had while buy a car. I have NEVER had as wonderful an experience buying a vehicle as I did at Daytona Hyundai. It was more like a recreational event than an auto purchase. Our sales associate Chris Manning was funny...so pleasant!...and he was more interested in what WE wanted than in selling us something we didnt want. He took painstaking time with us explaining features, options and financing. I wanted to have a beer with the guy! Then when our deal went to financing, Finance Manager Alex Muniz was as funny and accommodating as Chris. We signed the necessary (I emphasize NECESSARY) documents in less than 5 minutes, without any sales pitch for extended warranties, unnecessary add-ons, etc. Ill be buying all future vehicles from Daytona Hyundai. PERIOD.

I bought a used Honda here few days ago. I have relatively low credit score but they tried everything to get me a reasonable deal with the bank, plus they do give pretty good deals on trade-ins. They are very communicative and professional. Eventually I got to purchase a car that was perfect for me. Highly recommend

I called 17 dealerships across Central Florida (because I had to return my rental on Monday)- from Tampa to Daytona, I felt that no one could help. Then I spoke to John Nashmy at Daytona Hyundai. He listened, was patient, and immediately started looking. Even did a video tour with me on the phone to look at a couple of cars. Then he found this- a 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback. I didnt want an American car, but the mileage was too good to pass up: 30,187. For a 2012.. that is incredible!! He worked very hard and was patient with me and I was able to purchase this car. It was a dream to drive home and not worry if it was going to fall apart or if something was going to hurt me. He is the best kind of human, he wanted to help someone who Is working so hard not to drown. He saved me today- mostly from myself because I stress hard (like I cant eat, sleep and my hair was starting to fall out), but more importantly- he saved the bit of faith I had in humanity.❤

This dealership does not follow thru with anything they promise. Stay away from them. So many others to choose from. Run run far away. Even the management does not care about the customers or the quality. They just want the money. Money hungry. No customer service.I never leave negative reviews but this people need to run before they get had.ThanksJason
Typically I really hate going to dealerships as its usually a horrible experience, however this was not the case at Daytona Hyundai. I reached out to them over the phone and was put in contact with someone who is HANDS DOWN the best salesmen I ever worked with, he was honest, straight forward, responsive to all my requests and questions, he doesnt ever put any pressure on you to buy from him. His name is Ian, I implore you if your looking to get a new Hyundai, reach out to Ian!!! I am not the type of guy that writes a lot reviews but after my amazing experience with Daytona Hyundai and Ian yesterday I felt like I had to. Liz at the service center saved our trip. While on a long drive, we experienced an electrical problem in our 2015 Genesis. She made time for our problem, went above and beyond to diagnose it and even arranged transportation to our hotel. Thanks Liz! Highly Recommend
I have owned 4 Hyundai vehicles since 2004 and have been very satisfied with service, fairness in the deals and terrific cars. The 2004 is still in service and in excellent condition . The 2015 Genesis sport coupe is excellent and is a favorite of mine.
I used to take my car right around the corner from my house, and they were terrible. I was recommended to go to Daytona Hyundai. I was hesitant about the extra drive time, but I’m so glad I went!Bob in the service department is great. I purchased the Hyundai Elantra last month at Daytona Hyundai and could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. Chris Manning, my sales person, was a true listener, hearing my needs for a car, and producing the different choices that met those needs. He did not try to pressure me into buying more car than I needed, which was key to me, a retiree on a fixed budget. Chris is such an asset to the dealership. And when it came time to take care of the financial details, Alex Muniz was both professional and humorous, a great combination for that part of the sales cycle. John Nashmy and all the guys in the pre-owned department were great when picking out an Elantra for daughter. They definitely made me feel welcomed and werent pushy at all. I highly recommend these guys if youre looking for a preowned vehicle.
I have 2017 Elantra which I purchased new from this dealership. I have had MANY issues with car. But the main issue has always been the paint on the car. It started chipping after about four months. The dealership offered to “fix” it, but only touched it up. It started peeling off the hood and the top of the car after another six months. After I hit the mileage in my warranty they just told me to contact a collision place for a quote. They didn’t seem to care. After doing some research, there has been issues with many of their vehicles with the Pearl White paint. And the company doesn’t seem to want to take responsibility for the issue with the paint. I will never again buy a Hyundai vehicle.
