This place is terrible. I had a new set of tires installed at a different location. All seemed to be good. My fiance was driving on interstate with my newborn daughter, and I. All of the sudden our tire blew out, and almost caused an accident. I called the location I initially had them installed at they told me to have it towed to the nearest location to get it taken care of today, and if it was indeed their fault they would get me a new tire, and reimburse towing fees. I called this location close to closing time. I told them what had happened, and that I was quite aways from home and needed it done today. They said I had to wait until Monday, because they werent waiting for me to get there. They had no sympathy what so ever. All I asked was for an hour of their time, and Im sure it wouldnt have hurt them any. We had no where to go, and no way to get home due to being a little ways from home. They didnt care at all. Obviously I was very frustrated it was hot, they refused to do anything, and we had our newborn daughter with us. The manager was very argumentative with me, and even if I was a little frustrated its still very poor customer service. I feel like they definitely couldve done something for me, but they said it wasnt their fault, and they couldnt help me til Monday. Not only did my fiance notice but 2 other guys noticed the tire was dry rotted. One guy said it looks like it may have sat for awhile, and the rubber went bad. It may not have been this locations fault for the bad tire, but its the same company, and if they truly cared about their customers they would have done something to make it right. Over $600 in brand new tires, and I will never give my $$$ to this company again.

It’s a great place for tires. I have been recommended by a mechanic. Their response was quick and polite. Had done the job very well. But I am surprised the way staff wore masks, not everyone though. Wish they would correct it, because of the uncertain times. Overall a good place, if you need to get your tires repaired.

The wait is generally about 1-2 hrs, average in my opinion. I’ve been coming here since my move in 2017, can’t complain. They offer tire protection which I’m STRONGLY IN FAVOR of as it’s helped me in more than one occasion! The Mgr is knowledgeable and friendly! The all-boy staff seems to be competent and speedy. I will continue bringing my 2020 here for consistent, reliable service.

I wouldn’t recommend going here. I had four new tires put on my car and was to keep the fourth and have it put in my trunk. When I got my car back I realized I was missing all but one of my new custom pressure caps that I had just bought and one tire didn’t even have a cap on it at all and the other had a plastic cap. Luckily I noticed and they found two more and said if I wanted to order them again they would pay me back. Then when I got home I noticed my tire was also not in my trunk and there was an empty soda bottle in the back seat. I drove back and they found my tire and offered no apology for me having to drive all the way back to the store and said there was no reason for a soda bottle to be in my back seat. For the amount of money I spent I expected more.

It just so happened that my husband and I have the only year Explorer that they cant put a different size tire on. The tire size I had was 235/60r15 and the explorer can fit 235/70r15 and the tire guy told me after I waited over a hour to get the back tires on that the year explorer I have is the only year they cant put different size tires on. Dont go there they waste your time. One tire guy said they can do it then another guy came out without even opening my trunk to look at the tires and told me I have the only explorer that they can not put different tires on.. really how much of a difference are those tires plus I already have 235/60r15. I just think they 1 didnt want to do work or 2 they didnt want to do it because I brought my own tires and they werent making money off me from buying tires from them so I think he tried to make me think I had to get new tires from them. Im a lot smarter than that

Love discount tire. They always work with you. I was traveling from West Texas to Daytona Beach, Fla. I had a flat tire in Jacksonville. They fixed me up. Something had put a gash in my tire. Very reasonable price. Get the tire warranty. It does save you money. My tire was 29.00 after my warranty. But I wanted a full size spare. So i ended up with 2 new tires, new rim for the spare. Now i feel much safer for my trip back to west Texas.

MAKE SURE TO TALK TO THE ACTUAL TECHNICIAN!I dont know why but the front desk people are quite dismissive. I brought in some wheel locks that fit the wheels I was getting put on. I asked the front desk and the guy immediately said they wont fit. He didnt even look at what I brought and its size. I tried to say that it matches the lug size and he just brushed me off.The technician who came to brief me on the install was actually nice and all ears. I showed him the locks and he said they could get them on and torqued just fine.

Discount Tire in Daytona Beach has always given me great customer service, but two employees, Curtis and James, provided me excellent customer service when they stayed late to help me with a flat tire. I came back the next day and was very pleased to be able to purchase new tires at a great price. This place is the best!

Don’t buy your tires here. When you’re spending money, service was decent but when I returned for a “free” rotation three different times there was a 3 hour wait and one time all compressors were out. So I had to pay Tire Kingdom for a rotation. They should have a bay just for rotations.

Purchased Michelin tires, fast & easy install

Had a blowout on my drive from Miami to NY had a donut put on but needed 2 new tires on my front axle. I called to see what they could do and was told if I got there and paid before closing they would work after-hours to get me back on the road which they did. I was in-n-out in 40 mins. The sevice was not that good. They dint even put the hub cap on right lost 2 front ones. The tier prices were not discount. Which was expected. But for the price could .had gotten better service lots better

I took a tire there today to get it fixed and they said they couldn’t fix it, they said there was2 holes in the tire, one being on the side so it was unrepairable so I picked up the car with the doughnut on it, and came home then realized they took the tire, so I called them back to get the tire back, then I took the tire to another place and they fixed it and put it on for me and said it was a easy fix 1 SMALL HOLE NOT 2, plus they didn’t charge me!!!! I will not be returning to Discount Tire to buy tires or to get a tire fix.

I have been going to Discount Tire for years and have never been disappointed. I was a nurse for 25 years and can answer lots of medical questions, but my knowledge of tires is limited to say the least. I trust the advice I get from the technicians. Got a tire repaired today at no cost. Their Covid precautions are some of the best I have seen! Will not go anywhere else!

Charge me $27.50 to mount and balance a tire put it on the car and the car shakes and vibrates at 70 mph so I would say I got ripped off very very s***** work done

Great place to get some new tires. Was really clean and everyone was really friendly. Spend less than 45 mins here. Even rotated, balanced, and put air in my tires.

Say they will fix your flat. Only thing is they dont tell you....Dont look it, touch it, put air in it, and for God sakes, Dont put a plug in a leak. Because somehow that makes them more liable. LolEither you can repair something or you cant. We knew there was going to be an excuse why this couldnt be done, we just didnt know what it would be.

Appointment was a problem otherwise all good.

Dont believe everything theyre online site tells you. Sometimes theyre inventories dont match the local store so definitely call them before you get in your car and go somewhere.

We purchased 6 tires for our motorhome recently at the cost of over $16000. The tire stem valves were not installed properly and one was so bad that the tire developed a bubble in the side wall. Luckily we saw it before we had a tragedy. When we called the Daytona location were the work was done, they refused to replace the tire at no cost or repay us for the service call to charge out the bad tire so we could drive safely! Stay away from this location.

I called a number of different tire shops in the area and and discount tire had by far the best customer service. Thus, I canceled my appointment and went to them and it was the best decision I could have made. They were quick, easy, affordable, and super helpful. I would highly recommend!

Had a screw in my tire went to get it patched and they fixed it for free. The people there are very knowledgeable about tires and a nice place to go they tell you how long it will take and if you have any other options. I would recommend them to anyone who needs tires.

Even if you are scheduled you will wait for hours sitting around missing your appointments. Thats because you decide to change only 2 tires. If you take day off this place is good if dont have day off stay away from this place.

Traveling 850 miles from home and having instant response to my request for a questionable tire is unheard of. These folks stopped what they were doing, properly inflated and thoroughly inspected our tires on a 97 degree day. Incredibly, they offer free repairs to a reparable tire and instant replacement at a fair price to someone they may never see again.

Got two new tires. But did not like the guy trying to pressure us to buy sensors for all four tires at 60.00 a pop!.

Had called to reserve a tire for a 2006 Hyundai Sante Fe. Father in Law went to pick it up and brought it back. Wrong rim was installed. We called to tell them and they gave us a run around about how we’re using the wrong tools. Literally no space is available for socket/wrench space between the lug nuts and rim. Lug nuts are original and rim is even labeled for a “Vision.” Not even cheapest prices in Daytona.

I probably will never come back to this location . They had me waiting for over an hour, without telling me how long it would take . On top of that, other customers that came so long after me, already had their tires worked on or in the thingy. Maybe if I was a different skin tone, I would’ve been in and out like the rest of them. If you catch my drift. Thankfully, Alfredo had me to come back to the shop and get my tire worked! He’s the best and I’m very grateful! Give that man a raise!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. New rims and tires, and they had us out of there in about an hour. The website on the other hand is terrible. Ordered my tires and rims through the website, but then when the appointment was confirmed, I was informed that the rims were discontinued and I had to pay for more expensive ones, that frankly I dont like as much. Its over a week later, and theyre still trying to bait and switch people with the rims on the site (pic attached). Again...staff was great, but I think Ill be calling them directly from now on, because the website cant be trusted.

I purchased my tires from Discount Tires approximately 5 months ago.I was pleased with my experience then, and want to share my excellent experience when I stopped in yesterday for a tire rotation. I had just left Daytona Toyota having my very first bad experience there in all the years I have been dealing with them. It was regarding my tire rotation, and what I thought would be a 75,000 mile oil change and the normal check over of my car by their professionals. I was told I would only need a tire rotation, and that would be $25.00. I just casually said I was having that done at Discount Tire. The Customer Service told me they would not change the NEEDS MAINTENANCE warning on my dashboard, and to go toDiscount Tire to have that 30 second job done. I thought I was hearing things? Finally, since the two men did not know how to do that minor task, they called a very young polite service worker from the Toyota floor, and he came in, very polite, and in not even 30 seconds pushed the right buttons, and taught me how. I got into my car, not believing the two men who were so cold and mean to me because I said I would get the only job they said needed done at my Discount Tire place. My radio did not work, and many other things that they pressed and messed up, not knowing how to get the warning off my dashboard, before the young service man came in, but I was afraid to go back. When I got to Discount Tire, I was lucky enough to get a young man named Dustin who told me I would have a wait to get the tire rotation, and I said I couldnt today, so he offered me an appointment instead, which I set up with him. I proceeded to tell him how angry the guys at Toyota were, and that I only went there because my sticker they put on said to return at that mileage point, and programmed my car to warn me. I said okay, but please take care of the maintenance warning on my dashboard, and give me a new return mileage sticker to remind me at 80,000 miles,. Dustin told me not to worry, and he came out and in a minute or two had my radio working again, and got things straight on my dashboard. I am a few weeks ago from turning 78, so to me, who is not very knowledgeable in all those things it was a very big deal for Dustin to give me back my radio, and as he pushed the buttons, tried to explain how I can do it myself. I was so very impressed with his kindness,caring, and warmth, I went home so happy to have such an act of kindness after the rudeness I went through at Daytona Toyota. I give Discount Tires five stars!!!

I had a severely flat tire yesterday and needed to get it fixed immediately. Of course the flat tire happened on the day Hurricane Dorian had passed. I called 3 vendors (Discount Tire being one of them) and DT had my size tire in stock (and the customer service/pricing was great). Went into the location, they were busy - but all the associates were friendly and helpful. We figured out what kind of tires I needed and the associate kept in mind I was looking at keeping my costs down. I figured Id be there over 2 hours due to the high volume of business they were working with but no, they had me out in an hour. The associate who was doing the work came to intro himself and let me know one of my other tires needs replacing. Told him I was aware and that in a few weeks Id be back. He just wanted to make sure another associate had let me know this too. Once they were done, I was on my way. The level of service was solid. I thank this location so much for helping me and the excellent customer service!

They were professional and did a great job thats why I give them 5 stars. They will ask you for an excessive amount of personal information and enter it into their computer system which all seems very unnecessary just to have some tires rotated. The number of questions was irritating and I thought about leaving, but in the end they did actually do their job.
