No longer a Save A Lot, its a Save More. Didnt see much of a savings here...Better off going down the street to Aldi.
No fresh spinach, tomatoes, onions look like they have covid. Meat is suspect & prices are wrong on most items. Canned goods are safe, chicken is cool but meat & fresh vegetables is a sad situation
Nice staff good prices and feed a family for 10$ clean store.
I like the prices and the selection they have on food but not so much the staff some of them are kind of rude. But everybody has a bad day.
Pretty sure I just seen someone drink their own pee outfront
Excellent service. Just wish they would get Resers Ham Salad. I love that stuff. They sell the chicken salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, but not that. I cant find it anywhere. Save-a-lot sold it.
Very good place for all your needs
It is not save a lot but save more now
Its SavMore now and the best part is the liquor, cigs and glass pipe store inside of it. One stop shop cuz I even get to turn in my cans here. Cashiers are very friendly as well. Theres even one thats nice on the eyes😉
Could be better its ran by foreigner and not like save a lot was this place is higher priced than save a lot was
Great place cheap gas
Fast and easy place to shop ! Thank you Save More .
Watch the exp. dates!
Very clean meats were fresh service was friendly.
They have great spices and meats!
The cashier are friendly and sweet
Excellent fresh meat quality and price
It is a real good place for you to get your food
Overpriced!! & Potatoes were rotten.
They never have some things in stock.☹
Grocery store not the cleanest. Some good values but more expensive then other stores in the area on most items.
Didnt have much fresh meat for sale in the showcase.
Always clean, enjoy talking to the employees, prices are a bit higher than other places though
Great
The giblets and the pigs feet are never fresh enough
Expensive funny looking meat. Watch out for the dates too. The wine and spirits side of the store is super small, not enough room to stand in line sometimes. Id rather not go there.
Locally owned discount option
An ok kinda place
Pleasant surprise, meat department was fairly priced. Lots of name brand products. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Good prices great sales decent selection for size of store.
There was good quality meats to choose from at an awesome price. Much cheaper than the stores in Clinton, IA where we usually shop. The store was clean, but the bathroom really needed cleaning! Nice employees also!
Prices are to high. They have no name brand food. But have the nerve to set they prices that high. They always have a manager watching over you.She sits in the back behind a mirror watching cameras. Its so weird. The store be like completely empty. The meat is outdated. Can and box food be extra dusty.I avoid this store 100 percent. Then two undercover guards tried to beat up my 16 year old son, because he didnt put the basket back right. They got more undercover guards then customers. They have the nerve to charge for bags. The store smells like the outside and boxes off must. How is this store still open.
Ok,not a lot there
Hy vee isnt the only place with a helpful smile in every aisle, clean floors, well stocked and organized
Trash
Very nice cashiers. It is easy to shop and get rung up right away.
For an old, old store its fairly clean and has ample selection of product. Dont go there expecting fantastic service or a pit shined floor, but the value is fine for what you are buying
Meat is overpriced and discolored.
Great prices
Not bad......they could do better on appearance....
Great deals thanks
No a cheap store.
Its an OK stop
Wow...I havent been there yet, but the picture of the BACK IF THE STORE surely does NOT make me want to go there!!! WHAT A TERRIBLE WAY TO PROMOTE A NEW BUSINESS.
Well considering theyre closed and its save more now. Lmao, place is a joke of what it used to be. Meat selection looks horrible, as well does everything else. Looks like it hasnt been cleaned since they reopened either. Wont be going back
Not a fan
Good Prices & Good Selection
Its inexpensive. Somebody left a bunch of used plastic grocery bags to employ. I bet they would take free boxes too.
Went in for two items on sale I found one and asked for help for the other the employee that helped was awesome that was my first time there it reminds me of a small home town grocery store
The basics at a decent price. Nothing fancy or organic but a low cost produce and meat department. This is a bag you own place.
Great prices great brands check out personnel usually good, sometimes good could be more courteous.
Dirty. Lots of bums living in the parking lot
It sucks they are closing but the workers never seemed to get rid of the old nasty bananas
Its no longer save a lot its save more. We got almost everything.
Ok
Much of the fresh food you can buy here is only offered in their bargain brand, which tastes like ass. There are some name brand options for processed junk food however, if thats your thing. Not a good place for healthy stuff is the bottom line.
I love to get food here its always good and never bad.
Awesome
I dont see my recent post about save a lot stores ? Well i have another update or correction i thought the east moline was only one left since milan rock island and borh davenport stores are now gone for good but i just went thru east moline and im not exactly sure when but that store that was at Ridgewood variety location off of avenue of cities near 7th steet is not there anymore either theres a dollar general and some place called world food market there now ! Sorry to say i loved there sliced turkey i dont remember the brand name ! Also next time i go thru milan ill take a picture of the sign on the door that days permantly closed . so now im not sure even where the closest dave a lot might be if the whole company went out of business or what ?
Convenient grocery store
Gone from Geneseo
The prices are good, but the store could be a bit more organized and cleaner.
I wish the one west 4th St. Didnt close alot of people are upset over not just for the workers having to relocate to another store but also the elderly patrons who shopped there cuz it was close to home that they could walk or go to the store in there hoveround I know a few that did this and know I sit and wonder how they are going to the store cuz I dont see them anymore. And that is a shame for they were and are good people that store was a necessity for alot of people cuz alot of us cant afford HyVee and know that is the only grocery store we have in the west end
It was okay I like the one in the West End better
Great service for not being an everyday shopper
I had one of the people that works there help me find several items as it is hard for me to get around I have a bad back. When it came time for me to get my bags out to the car this person scooped up my bags and brought them out there for me. Fred Jackson is an A#1 employee, I am so glad he is there to help me when I need it.
Good for when you need something quick but lack of customer service
Outside looks run down,as does the inside, the saving grace is the prices inside the store
Has a lot of decent stuff for really cheap. It doesnt look fancy or anything and the bathrooms can be dirty most times but you can get a weeks worth of food to cook at home for around 50-70 dollars.
Pretty good for what it is. Similar to an Aldis but much better meat selections.
They had meat on sale and the prices were great compared to Walmart and Hy-vee in Clinton, IA. Nice and helpful employees too! The bathrooms needed a lot of work though!😁
This is a bad part of town. I would not ever shop here.so much theft and to getto for me.
Ok place
Good place to shop with good prices
Friendly employees and some good deals. Basic staples are a little expensive tho
I sometimes shop there because I live close
Food is rotten. The frozen food is all freezer burnt or is expired
The old save-a-lot is finally open under new mgt and name. Very much like former store. Plus a new separate liquor department with alcohol, wine, beers and cooler loaded with drinks.
Sadly this place no longer exists. The owner passed and they all closed.
Great meat values
Had a great time in Iowa
Low price good service
If you like spoiled food
Clean and Friendly
I like that its close but dont like the first thing you see when you walk in the door is alcohol
Has good prices
Staff friendly
Prices are ridiculously high $5.99 for 12-pack of soda, tub of butter is half full, 3.99 for pre-made salads. Need I go on..
The pallette prices on things were confusing.I had no idea that I would have to buy a whole pallet of something to get that cheaper price.Other than t hat I liked my visit.
Did not think it is quite as good as the former Sav-A-lot was.
It is not Save A Lot, it is now Save More Super Market.
Average
Friendly staff speedy service...
Made shopping easy, done well..
Sort of scary ppl in there. Was followed around the store by a drunk guy. Staff did nothing.
Good beer prices..
Ok store was a lil dirty looking
Great prices, good meat savings.
Great prices, better than aldi.
