Absolutely the most outstanding Service department in the QC. My husband and I bought a car in June from a dealer right next door and by August the transmission went out. We couldn’t get any help from the dealer and they ended up pawning it off to Tilton-Jax since it was a Nissan and not their problem. I’m so glad they did. Always communicated what was happening and were so very helpful through the warranty claims process we had to go through. Won’t be going anywhere else from now on!

My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant experience at this dealership. We bought a beautiful used 2018 Nissan Rogue. Jim, John, Darwyn and the service department were all fantastic. They were attentive, patient and informative. They listened to what we were looking for and got us just that. They werent at all pushy like some dealership employees can be. They laid out all of our options and made sure they got us exactly what we wanted. They were all awsome and we will definitely be buying any future vehicles there!

Purchased the scarlet red 2021 Altima. This is the second time visiting the dealership the first time was for transmission work both times everyone is extremely helpful and nice. I am extremely pleased with Mike the salesman he help me transfer my stuff into my new car. What a fantastic Service Department! Last Thursday, 9/9/21 my wife and I were traveling through Davenport on our way home in PA. As we tried to leave our hotel parking lot, our Nissan Murano didnt want to start. There was a problem with the electric keyless starting system. After nearly a dozen attempts, the car started, but we wanted to get the problem checked out. I called TJ Nissan and spoke to Justin Hosford. They were very busy, but hed be able to take a quick look and check the battery. When we arrived we were brought immediately into the service area and Justin and one of the mechanics went to work. Within about 25 minutes problem solved and we were on our way!Realize that we were strangers passing through town. We will not likely ever be in Davenport again. Justin could have easily told us they couldnt fit us in to their busy schedule. Ive had other dealerships do just that. This is one of the most customer focused experiences Ive ever had in the auto industry. It speaks not only to the great job Justin and the Tech did (I apologize for not remembering his name), but also shows that the leadership at that dealership are truly serious about delivering a quality customer experience.Oh, and just to top off the experience, Justin did not charge us a thing and would not take any money when I offered it. Took 1 week to get my car diagnosed for A/C problems. After my Appointment they put my car on a Wait till someone is free list before they completed the diagnosis. After that it went on the Wait till a bay is free list till they fixed it. In all, it took almost 2 weeks before I got my vehicle back.

My daughter purchased a Nissan Rogue today. We live n Dubuque Iowa but we drove from Dubuque IA to Davenport IA to complete this purchase (since the Dubuque dealership Derry Nissan did not treat my daughter good). We took our car for oil change and they forgot to tight the cap properly., i noticed it a couple of hours later when I found the enormous stain on the concrete in my garage. I had to go back again to get the problem fixed and the motor cleaned, but i am not sure if the engine suffered while running with less oil in the system. I can’t believe that they do not a have a quality control or even worst, that the fill out whatever forms they must just to fulfill a nissan brand requirement. I am very upset with the situation and have lost confidence on their service. I will change the brake pads tomorrow with them and i am nervous about this maintenance with them. I don’t know how to check that the breaks are properly installed without being at risk.

I brought my car in for its normal oil change/tire rotation. The only thing that was different about this time was the fact that I had lost my front license plate to my vehicle and had been given a new one but had no clue how to put it on because the entire mount had fallen off with my old license plate.In addition to changing my oil and rotating my tires, two of your service gentleman went above and beyond figuring out how to get my license plate back on the car, got another mount for it and took the time and effort to fix it and refused to take a dime for it! You’re darn right I will absolutely come back, and tell all my friends about it!They definitely went above and beyond.

I drove up to service department without an appointment because my window wouldnt roll up. Ken, the service manager was so helpful and accommodating. They pulled a mechanic off a job to examine and got window up. About a week later the parts arrived so brought it back for repair (under warranty). Service dept was excellent, nice comfortable waiting area. It was a pleasant experience. Ken and staff went out of their way to assist. I really enjoy my Nissan and will only take it to Tilton for service & repairs.

A week later parts still not order still awaiting authorization from salesman, of course no one called me I had to follow up. I even sent an email to the GM asking for an update with no response. Initially, I gave Tilton-Jax a 1 star review and you can read why below but let me tell you why I whole heartily change my review to 5 stars.After posting my original review, the new General Manager (Darwyn) contacted me. He apologized for the problems they had caused us. Said he had made personnel changes. Amazingly, without even being asked, he said the Dealership would pay the Illinois late taxes their mistake had caused. Please understand, Tilton-Jax wasnt under any legal obligation to do so. The Illinois Government holds the car owner completely responsible to pay their car taxes. I appreciate very much what Tilton-Jax did to make things right.I want you all to know that I would trust them with my money. There may have been problems with their service in the last few year but under Darwyns management, things have changed. I would do business there again without hesitation. Thank you so much Darwyn. We love the car.Original 1 Star Review:I live in Illinois so buying a car from this Iowa dealership was going to involve more paperwork than the pile you normally see when buying a car... As you can see in some of these reviews, they can be untrustworthy at times. Well, I should not have trusted them to send in the IL taxes. It took 4 months and now I owe $115 more to the Illinois government as late fees. Dont make my mistake, dont trust them with your money.

If you make an appointment for an oil change and theres no one else in the waiting area and most of the bays are empty it shouldnt take over 2½ hours to finish!Good grief, they are pleasant people but NO ONE is in any hurry to finish or to help you.I was considering trading in my truck for a new one, but not from there!I finally got a salesman that was great after looking through windows for over an hour (thank you Lucky) which is the only reason I gave it 3 stars. He was great to work with. Lucky is the ONLY salesman I would ever consider using, the rest were far more interested in each other and putting out fires from previous customers apparently.Ken in service was nice enough, they just need to value their customers time after the sale as well as they do to get you out the door with a new car.

I came in for a an oil change and received a free inspection. On my inspection I was told I needed to replace my front and back brake pads and rotors immediately. I had just had my brakes done at the end of last year. I came in yesterday to have my car looked at because it started acting funny after I had my oil changed. I was charged $112 for the testing. I received my paperwork back and all of a sudden my brakes were PERFECT. How is that they went from a 4 to a 10 and I didn’t touch them? Obviously the accuracy of these inspections is messed up. I would never trust this place to fix my car! My transmission now needs replaced and I haven’t even had my car for a year. This place is a scam and I would never trust them.

Lujack had promised free oil changes throughout my lease but Tilton Jax is an entirely different company and could not honor the promise. What they DID however, was offer a compromise which I thought was very generous. The owner even came out to talk to me about it, which impressed me a lot. I needed to change a headlight bulb and was told that the bumper needed to be removed in order to do that and that I should replace both headlights even though everyone else said it wasn’t necessary but I did it cause the whole bumper had to be removed.I was there early for the appt and was told that I would be texted when the work started so after an hr or so I went back to see how the progress was going and I looked at the car and it’s just sitting there done.Now I get the car back and not only is the bill more than what was quoted I have no idea how long it actually took cause I didn’t get the text. On physical inspection I notice one of the other lights are out and to which I point out was working fine when I got there and I ask what happened and he says he doesn’t know and I asked if maybe a wire got disconnected and he said no maybe the light just went out and I’m thinking how do you NOT notice that another lightbulb is out when you the had the bumper off??? Do you not check your work, wouldn’t that be something you would tell me about in case it also needed to be replaced but sent on my way I was.Now I did talk to people who told me to go back as this was not something that should have happened and it was fixed rather quickly as it seems it was something was disconnected and I was correct but now I have that sense of feeling of being ripoffed and taken advantage of. And coming to the conclusion that people are right that dealers are the worst places to take your cars.I also learned that you DONT need to take the bumper off you can Go through the wheel well and replace the light that way.Also looking at the receipt not only did the work start an hour after being dropped off so almost an hr after the appt time but the time out was past the time that I was back there and the car was just sitting there sooooo that makes me wonder how I got charge for what seems to be more than an hr when according the receipt took 41 minutes ?? And actually less seeing as it is was DONE when I walked back which was a couple minutes before the end time.All around I found what should have been a simple lightbulb replacement to be very inconvenient, shady, incompetent, poorly done experience made a lil worse by the fact we literally just bought another brand new car from you which I’m not regretting If that’s the service to be here expected

Took Vehicle in for Transmission hesitation and blue smoke (started 2 days prior to appt). After looking at the oil fill cap, dipstick and draining 3 Qt instead of the full fill of 5.125 Qt they called me up asking for all oil change records because I needed a new engine as my oil was burnt and my engine was burnt. The only diagnostics they could tell me they did is what was described above as well as hook up the computer to see engine codes. Only Code was a recent misfire on cylinder 2. To me this was not a diagnosis of the root cause or proof that the engine was bad and in need of replacement. So with the assumption that Nissan wouldnt warranty an entire engine without detailed oil change receipts I decided to get a second opinion about my engine being bad. Tilton-jax then proceeded to put on my paperwork that all work wouldve been covered by warranty but customer refused to go any further. I had to go back into the shop and have them change that as warranty coverage was never approved. At the second opinion shop it was determined that I had an issue with the PCV system and was not in need of a new engine. This was determined by way of proving information in a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that matched my vehicles issues. I feel very strongly that they were trying to
