We just purchased a 2021 Honda Talon Live Valve edition. I highly recommend this dealership! Fast smooth financing and paperwork with Vickie and our sales guy Mitch over the phone and in person, they have years of experience and do not hide anything!The service shop was very accommodating on a Sat for our first service. Everyone in the shop is very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer to anyone else

As far as service goes, NEVER EVER have your machine worked on here. Brought my 400ex in to have a noise looked into. They charged me $150 for the inspection in which they found nothing. They charged another $150 to tear it down and find out for sure. They told me it needed some new transmission gears as well as an entirely new crank and told me it was going to be $3000+ which is more than what I paid for the quad in the first place. They gave it back to me in pieces, some of which they lost, and the bill which should’ve been $300 came out to $800 instead of what they told me. I ended up fixing the quad myself only to find out they lied about the crank being broken. I also found that they broke some things in the process, which they did not tell me at any point. I dealt with them several times on the phone too throughout the process in which they were zero help. It’s just sad to see the main, and what I thought was the best, Honda dealer in the area take advantage of their customers. It’s especially sad because Joel, the owner, WAS a great friend of my dads. Do not give Hawkeye Motorworks the time of day. I wonder what the BBB will say about this.

Staff gave me a quote and stuck to it. They were slammed and still got my goldwing in for an oil change, and did an inspection that found a couple worn grommets. Great service. WOULD RECOMMEND

Travelers BEWARE! This place will gouge you with high prices! In June 2021, my Wife and I were on an across the USA motorcycle trip. In the area of Davenport, my rear tire starting losing air. I needed a new tire on my 2018 Honda AT, so I called this dealer and they said they had a rear tire for $320.00! I checked the internet and the same tire was retailing for $190. But what could I do, I needed a tire right away and could not wait 4 days for a new one to be shipped . So I paid their extortion price for one tire and went on my way. Sky high prices and the Manager wouldnt discuss the issue with me. Caveat Emptor!

I am from Michigan, seen the motorcycle I wanted posted for their website. made plans to fly out to their closest airport and be picked up by them. the flight was delayed for over an hour. the guy driving me to Hawkeye Motorworks was friendly and courteous. the salesman who I talked to over the phone greeted me at the door and was helpful in selecting the right cold-weather gear and went over all the things I needed to know about the new 2019 Honda Goldwing ( new-old stock with 3 miles on it and a full tank of fuel ) after the financing was finalized they stayed late to setup the motorcycle for the 350 mile cold trip home. They all make a great team in my opinion and would recommend them if asked where to buy a motorcycle from.

I purchased a used 2008 Honda Rancher ATV for use at my cabin in northern Wisconsin. Even though it had only 1900 miles on it I thought it a good idea to have it checked over before taking it north. I agreed to their multi point inspection. Also had the oil and filter changed. Usually did this myself but didn’t have the time. Picked it up and didn’t check it out before leaving. Air filter never checked. Still had seeds from farmers last crop. Really don’t think they completed other checks check properly. Will have to go over later myself. Advised service manager and said he was sorry. Offered to give me 10% off on my next oil change. A joke. Will never go back. They charged $109.17 for a oil change that took .5 hour. 3 quarts of oil filter and 2 O-Rings. Haven’t checked with other dealers but suspect got overcharged. Plan to write Honda for whatever that’s worth. Beware

Josh didnt put any pressure on me to make the sale which I appreciated. The cost of the Goldwing was comparable to all other dealers I checked with.

My family and I have purchased products from Hawkeye Motorworks for several years. Called today seeing if they would be willing to wheel and deal on a 2021 TRX90X. They didnt care I was a previous customer who had spent thousands of dollars over the years at their business and were very rude. I love the Honda product and because of my experiences there I will be looking elsewhere in the future to buy that has better customer service.

Very good experience. They helped make buying our first ATV a great experience. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The snow plow I bought with it has come into great use.

I dealt with nearly everyone on staff during my purchase, from Josh (sales), Joel (owner), Vickie (payment) to the parts guy who helped me with accessories and another who helped to hook up the trailer I purchased with the vehicle. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. I came from out of state based on regional inventory availability, but I may just make the trip back for service because the team was so great. Theres also a nice off-road track for testing vehicles on-premise.

Not at all satisfied with sales or service bought a new crf125 for my grandson only to get down road aliite ways to find out they had the wrong bike on my paperwork, good thing the wife was reading it on the way home,! went back they corrected it but it took 2 days we had to return to sign everything again, then we brought it back for its 1st service and the information in the computer was wrong had me in there as a crf110 owner. they said they would straighten it out but that didnt happen i left the bike for 4 days and they didnt even start to work on it, it was there for an hours worth of work, it also had a warranty issue that they didnt get handled either i took the bike home unfinished called back to check on warranty coverage and was told they forgot to take pictures and asked if i could bring it back if i was just down the street i would have said yes but im 20 miles away. they said that they would be in my area today and could come by and take a look and take pictures i agreed and had some one stay at the house and wait for them THEY NEVER CAME OR CALLED i will never return, i have contacted honda directly, and now have an open case with them

This isnt a Honda but they made me a great deal on a Kawasaki. I was in the market for another KLR and this one had everything on it already! I will continue to shred on it. My salesman Josh was so helpful with getting the best deal. Kayla did a great job getting the paper work completed and correct. Service department listened to me when I told them the chain was to loose and needed corrected before I left the dealership with my new Kawasaki.

Great dealership. They had a Talon 1000 x 4 in stock when no one else did. Josh was the salesman I worked with, and he treated me very fair. There was never any pressure to buy. Vicky in the finance the department was a joy to work with. I drove over 100 miles and was happy I did.

Bought a new helmet from Hawkeye Honda well over a month ago and i still havent received or got any information from them. Paid for it at the time i ordered it.. They keep telling me it Foxs fault and well call them.. I could of ordered it online and been to my house within 2 weeks... Never shopping there again

This charge is not required by law despite what the salesmen at this business will tell you. You can find information about this law if you Google Iowa 322.19A. This also requires advertised prices to include documentation fees (if applicable) which was not done with the item I was looking at on their website.

Dennis in sales was great. Answered all my questions about several different bikes and helped me pick out the right bike. He introduced me to the Hawkeye team and even helped me get everything I needed in order to ride the bike home. Great customer service and wasnt overly pushy. If my next toy is a Honda I will definitely give Dennis a call.

Was wanting to buy a 2018 grom they had listed as a sale item for 2,849$ on the website but when I called they refused to honor the sale price listed on the website but instead said they couldn’t sell it for what it was listed because it was a popular color. Bad dealership bad business practice not trustworthy. They lost a costumer for sure.

We bought two brand new ATVs there this summer and were very pleased with the experience. Dennis the Salesman was very personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared. Joel, the Sales Manager was also great to work with. He explained all of the details, stayed after hours to make sure our questions were answered, and even called about a month later to make sure everything was going well. I read the old reviews but I can honestly say that the customer service at Hawkeye Motorworks is fantastic.

We thought we already knew what we wanted but Dennis insisted we look at other models they sell incase we were not aware of options other models had. He took all the time we needed to decide on the different options for a CSC Trike. That was our first time going to Hawkeye Motorworks in 2014. We have all our service done there now.

I bought a used bike from there just recently. I asked that the bike be cleaned and checked out and ready for the road . I spoke to 3 people on this, when I arrived a few days later i went to inspect the bike after being told it was ready. It was ovious it was not touched so they did a very quick spot clean on the area i pointed out. At this point im tired of the bs and just need to get home so I went ahead and closed the deal trusting everthing was ready as they said. I got the bike home unload and proceded to check out turn signals and found they were not working then checked horn and it is not working. Bottom line DO NOT TRUST HAWKEYE MOTOR WORKS! they lie to make a sale.

I had the same issue with the so called owner 2 summers ago. My dirt bike needed some repair and I thought it would be a good facility being new and all for it. When I dropped it off I was so enthusiastic about riding and let Joel know it to. I called weekly about it being ready so when the first month went by I waited for them to call. Never happened. 2 half months later I call and they say oh yeah its been done for weeks come get it. Thanks for the lost summer of riding owner. McGrath power sports never did me this way. They lost a great buyer here.
