I recently bought a used 2019 Acura TLX at a non Acura dealership and wanted to bring my car to my local dealership to have them give me a multi point inspection to see if there was any problems I didn’t find when I test drove my car. I met with Alan upon arrival and he instantly gave me the customer service I was looking for. He took care of everything quickly and had answers to all my questions. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be bringing my car here to him every time my car needs any service.
These people do care about their customers because with me, of all the times Ive been there I am treated with respect and hospitality. I havent dealt with the sales department, though Im speaking primarily of the parts and service departments.There was even an incident where I requested not to have a complimentary car wash because I had just ceramic coated my car, and though it wasnt washed, it was dusted leaving behind some swirl marks, I had just paid to get rid of. The service department was very professional about the issue I had, and took proper measures to ensure I was satisfied. Since then I still return and an treated with the same respect I felt before they could recognize me and now I feel like there are no hard feels towards each other.I just got my car serviced again and it was a pleasurable experience.

A+ for overall service! One of the service writers, Jimmy H, and one of the managers, Mark G, were so helpful every time I called. Attentive, accommodating, and no pressure if and when recommending non-urgent repairs. Behind the scenes, there must be a great crew of mechanics and technicians too. Very comfortable and spacious waiting area/lounge.
Jordan Chen was a delight, was very thorough and professional with us. He was friendly and we were able to buy the car we wanted in a timely manner. We enjoyed that he wasnt extremely pushy like salesmen at other dealerships. Other car salesmen could learn from him.

The average wait time for scheduled service is 2 hours on Saturdays. The lounge is basic but spacious, clean and comfortable enough. The customer service is top notch. I have previously worked with Jimmy and Alan and they are ALWAYS courteous, personable and professional. They take the time to explain the service details, set realistic expectations on wait time and keep me updated while my car is being serviced. I highly recommend Thomas Acura.
For two decades I have had my Acuras serviced at Thomas Acura. The location and professional service keep me coming back. In particular, the friendly and professional service of Alan in the service department and the quality mechanics are the main reasons I have stayed loyal to this dealership. Alan has handled our cars’ maintenance and repair issues for the past 12 years. Other dealerships try to up sell me and take advantage of non-automotive types like myself. All of a sudden, I remembered a great person who works for Thomas Acura forever, Mark Giles, director of fixed operations that might able to help. I called, and to my surprise, he still remembers me! It has been over 10 years since I bought my car. Same friendly and professional service, ordered the replacement screw for me, free of charge. What a great outstanding service!
I’ve seriously never had an easier or faster car buying experience! There was no haggling, no pushing for add ons, and everything was done within 2 hours. We did our homework on the Internet first and knew what we wanted when we went in, so that helped. The finance part of it is always nerve racking and that was not the case here at all! It was so smooth and everyone was so friendly. We drove our new car off the lot extremely happy!
My relatively new car had a rattling noise in the front dash that was annoying.They worked hard to fix the problem. It was under warranty and it did take two separate appointments to actually solve the problem, but I was given a loaner vehicle both times and that was awesome.Im very happy with their service and the technicians, who were very knowledgeable.

Called Acura of Alhambra with a car issue and was told by their service manager that it was probably due to the dynamic modes on my mdx. Not believing in his bulls*** answer, I decided to called Thomas Acura for a second consultation. I spoke to JC and he knew exactly what the issue was. He told me it was probably due to heavy carbon buildup and he was right. I will only be coming to Thomas Acura for all my Acura services from now on.

Came in for blown tire & numerous alarms in car. Seen immediately & issue resolved within 2 hours. I was expecting to leave my vehicle & rent a car to return to Sacramento tomorrow. (7/11). JC assured me sensors were responding to temporary tire. Once tire was replaced, all alarms cleared. Test ride was good. Based on the reviews of this place I thought that they were different from the other dealerships out there but I was wrong. I inquired about the new Acura TLX type S and stated that I had been lied to by two other dealerships about the final selling price of the car and they said that they would sell it at sticker with an additional $1,000 in accessories in which they agreed to in writing and I left a $2,000 deposit to hold the car. A couple weeks go by and there is communication and then a text comes through that they will not honor the price that they agreed to and didnt have an amount as to how much they would be marking it up over the price that we agreed on but wanted to know if I still wanted to commit to the vehicle. I said no because we had an agreed upon price in writing that they said that price will not be honored anymore. The transmission in my car I was planning on trading in ended up going out and I ended up needing a car sooner as well and they lost that opportunity to sell another car which I still purchased an Acura TLX A-spec from a more reputable dealership. Dont fall for the broken promises that this place pushes.
Jimmy in service department was very helpful and kept me informed on the progress of my car and kept me updated. The service department was very accommodating with a free loaner vehicle as well while my TLX was being serviced since I do live kind of a ways out. My vehicle took half the time they told me it would take so definitely a plus side that they were able to service my vehicle so fast as well. Called in the morning to see if they could fit me in for an Oil change (A light service) indicator came on, since we were taking the vehicle for a quick road trip. Jimmy was super accommodating and able to get me a quick A - service.I was in and out within an hour with a courtesy car wash and vacuum, where most dealers just do a wash. Thanks Team Thomas Acura and especially kudos to Jimmy for taking care of the service needs, quickly, efficiently and of course with quality. WiFi helped out as well since I was able to do some office work and they have extra desk/tables to be able to work while you wait.One recommendation is to have extra outlets for all the electrical needs of the customers. Thankfully didn’t need it since I was in and out.Until next time.

I came in today to check my battery since this is the second time I am having the same issues with the dashboard flickering while driving and having trouble starting my MDX. I had the battery replaced twice in since 2019. This time they found the starter is draining the battery. I wish this would have been diagnosed the last two times I was here for the same problem. The cost of repair was very high. Thank goodness my personal mechanic came through for less than have the cost. On the positive side, JC was excellent with his customer service. Five stars for JC.

EditedFebruary 2020 I took my car for maintenance and they replaced the battery and it was under warranty. Almost a year passed and I won’t be able to start my car. First, I jumped the start and it worked. The second time, my husband had to call AAA and he was told the battery is a bad cell. I called them to see what’s going on and they said it shouldnt be a battery issue since the battery lasts about 3 years and it could be something draining or having wiring issues. I also got into a car accident on December and maybe the damage was caused by the accident. Anyway, I ended up having my mechanic investigate and she gave me a report saying it’s electronic issue. Anyway, she thought Acura gave me a bad battery. it cost me $300 to get a new battery.After leaving the review, Mark from Acura left me a voice message. After a phone conversation, he offered me to take a look at my car to make sure everything is okay. We made an appointment on Monday.After talking to Mark at the office, he explained very well what could be the cause of the issues. I didn’t want to have any more headaches in the future so I’m glad they are going to diagnose. He also said he can try to see if he can recover the old battery.After about 45 mins of waiting in the lobby comfortably, Mark came back and told me that there is something going on with my car as the new battery is draining. He told me it will take some time to find out what’s the cause and he was very nice to offer me a loaner car for free of charge. I took a loaner car and he called me back around 3 pm. They were able to find out the cause!!!!! Also, they weren’t able to recover the old battery.There is a couple of issues -1) This is a minor issue but the dashcam I have was draining sown battery and they were able to adjust2) There was a security or alert box next to the fuse box - and this was causing the issues! I had no idea there was! I guess the dealership I got a car from didn’t take it out when they sold the car!!!!! - the dealership closed permanently for god sake.Anyway, I am very happy they were able to find the cause and fixed it. I really appreciate their sincere offer for all of this. A lot of dealerships is trying to take advantage but I feel like Thomas Acura is different. They make sure that you are taking care very well. They even gave me a 2022 TLX as a loaner car!!! Thank you!!

Right now is the worst time to buy a car due to the chip shortage. The only reason we bought a car during this time was because our other car was wrecked in a car accident. Jordan and the rest of the team at Thomas Acura were great! Every other dealership was charging way over MSRP and making you add on additional accessories. Thomas Acura was straight to the point. Ive been to this location a couple of times and its been great both times. I went in for a transmission fluid change and was able to be in and out in about 1.5 hours.They have a social distanced lounge which was comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend.

Repeatedly great service. My first time there was a recall to check on a part. Today is my second time there to check on the brake noises just to find out all are fine and nothing needs to be done. Both times there I was greeted with friendly service. And the tire pressure warning light was on when I dropped it off. Something that I ignored. But I realized they took care of it when I picked it up! And they vacuumed my car! Very much appreciate it. I will bring my car there for service again.

We had purchased a used vehicle here and I took it in for a service. They were very professional and helpful. They did not try to charge more than what they had quoted over the phone unlike another dealership I had spoken to, and they honored our original contract by giving a discount when it became apparent we needed new rear brakes sooner than expected. These guys always help me out. Ive had the rottenest luck with my two Acuras this time around. Both have required a new battery and both have required a new tire due to flats that could not be patched. Guess what? Another tire issue today brought me in. Slow leak. Luckily, it was fixable and they patched it right up, all under an hour and a half with a quick outside car wash. (It was really getting embarrassing to drive that thing! Thanks, guys!) Oh, and I drove up this afternoon without an appointment and they were able to accommodate me. Hows that for service? Jimmy and the guys do an outstanding job. Keep up the great work, you guys. Youre the reason I keep coming back, just so you know. I could go to Acura of Alhambra but I drive a little farther to bring my Acuras here instead. Very pleased with Jimmy Hwang’s service . He is very polite and he takes the time to sit down with you and explain in detail all costs/repairs . He does not pressure you to buy or make any repairs and he makes you feel welcome. As for the technicians they always finish taking care of my vehicle on time or in most cases earlier than expected. They did wash and vacuum my vehicle as a courtesy the two times that I came here without me having to ask them to which I thought was very considerate. Will be coming back here for any future repairs.

Ryan and William are the Best! Only look for them. The process for deals and finance to about 3 hours altogether. We were able to get a new Acura ILX Premium at the right budget. There is no GAP included, but has to be purchased. We purchased GAP through a Credit Union Bank at a way cheaper price. The great part was Ryan and Will made it easier to use a Credit Union Bank to make the purchase of the new car. We didnt like the first deal, but the 2nd was just right. Its always based on the bank, but they are always willing to help you get to where you need, reasonably. I will definitely work with them or will always try to look for them. Even the AAA companies recommend these guys. Thanks for the new car!
