I went into Best Buy to pickup a GPS unit, their website said it was in stock. When I was in the store and asked an employee for the product he said they were out of stock. I double checked their website and it shows that it was in stock. Asked another employee and he eventually retrieved what I wanted. With the second employee I still had to be persistent though. I don’t see why they have to make it so difficult to purchase items.

Wow.I have experienced a range of emotions while at this particular Best Buy, from internal freak out to completely ecstatic and overall extremely grateful.I’ve been at this location before a few times, and have always had a pleasant experience, but my last visit made me feel compelled to leave a review.I recently had an issue with my laptop and had been already gone through lengths to get it fixed before finding out Best Buy would be my only option, so I really didn’t have anywhere else to go. I had it shipped out through geek squad, and I bought a replacement laptop from Best Buy (online via their open box program, which is also amazing!) while my laptop was worked on (I will never be without 2 laptops moving forward forsure)!Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the voicemail asking for approval to proceed with fixing my laptop, so they shipped my laptop back to this Best Buy. However, I was easily able to get it sorted and reshipped out, as well as pre-approved for the original charges thanks to the awesome geek squad here!When I came to pick my laptop up, some additional work was made that I didn’t approve and luckily I still had the first voicemail stating the original balance. Chad and Sanger did such an outstanding job with helping sort things out completely above my expectations. I cannot say enough good things about them both, I’m so grateful for them!I loved Best Buy prior, but now I will be a lifelong customer! Come here for truly excellent customer service by employees who care about their customers. Also bonus points, if your animal is well behaved they’re welcome!I will continue to share my incredible experience with everyone!

Best buy customer service hung up on me 4 times over while trying to get a stock check and you cant just speak to the actual store youre calling. By the time I got to my destination (half an hour drive) I was told they dont sell what Im looking for, even though the first call center lady who hung up on me told me for certain they do.
Came in to replace a TV that hadnt been working properly and gio in geek squad took care of quickly, efficiently and with a great attitude
Its rare I gave this store two stars. I love best buy however when its 10 min to closing and I went to pick up my phone and the lady in the cell phone dept was very rude I asked her a couple of questions and I felt like she was agitated. This is the last time I walk into best buy there truly sucks. Such a sad shame.

I had a very unique situation on a defective lenovo. It required massive logistics and some common sense consumer experience. I was leery that any of that would happen. But then I spoke with manager Megan Boland who deserves recognition from corporate for being excellent.
You know that feature in-store where you can the QR code to get customer service to help? Totally useless. Wasted 20 minutes and better off asking an associate few sections down.

Went here during the rtx 30 series drop, arrived at 5 am and waited 27 hours in line just for the guys in front to cut by bringing 40 to 50 people and a bunch of chairs, they literally had a double line of people by morning, I asked the manager to do something about them but refused to do anything, so at the end of the day non of us people who waited a whole day didnt get what we wanted, security also didnt want to do anything, very disappointed, very unfair to all of us in the back, worst best buy employees ever and security harassing us too for no season :/
The staff here are really friendly and knowledgeable. BUT...and this is a big one....I felt really screwed over when I returned an iPad Pro that I put a down payment on and wasnt refunded my down payment.The girl in the Mobile dept. (she was very nice, and I feel bad about criticizing her) told me that AT&T would refund my deposit. That simply wasnt true, and I spent two weeks and several hours on the phone trying to get my refund.It ends up that she was supposed to refund the down payment when I returned the item. I had to go to the Best Buy in Orange because I didnt want to deal with any more BS from the Costa Mesa store. I received my refund right away. I hope the Best Buy in Costa Mesa can correctly train their employees in the future.

I received the best service ever at the Costa Mesa store by Jarred at the Magnolia TV department. Jarred is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met at a Best Buy store. He was incredibly patient and a pleasure to work with and helped me find the best TV and sound bar for my new place. He not only helped me choose the best TV but also helped setting up the installation appointment and resolve a few issues I had after TV was installed. Bottom line this review is for the outstanding service I received by Jarred so if you need a TV, sound bar he is your guy!
This Best Buy location is one of the best around.Their selections huge, lots of open box deals. Top quality employees who know what they are talking about. Customer service is A+ there is always someone around to help.i recommend this vs orange; Anaheim or westminster locations.HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Please staff up. There’s always a queue for everything from check out to assistance in computer department. Other than that it’s a Best Buy store like any other.
Thought I’d buy a flat screen and two 300 dollar tv wall mounts. Stood around store for 30 minutes heard employees goofing around in back of shipping area and I never was helped. This Best Buy is reminding me of Circuit City or RadioShack. I guess I’ll have to head to Walmart instead, disappointing.

Worst Best Buy I’ve ever been too. Standing in the “help line” waiting for over 25 minutes for help. While there is 4 staff just standing around talking and looking at their phones. I will never come here again. Especially the person standing with his hands behind his back. He is directing people on what to do but isn’t really helping any customers or staff.
There seemed to be only 2 people there helping about 8-10 people who wanted to buy computers. There was a third person who just walked away after helping a customer. There was a line of people waiting to spend thousands of dollars on computers but there was no sense of urgency to help customers.
Store was nice and clean so Ill bump it up a star, but customer service was severely lacking. None of the three staff I asked for help were willing and just said they would send someone else over. Third staff asked me to have a seat while I waited. After nearly 20 minutes waiting I left annoyed and empty handed...
Its a Best Buy. They have most of the things in stock.

Easy Peasy. Went in to see what was wrong with my laptop & Geek Squad wait wasnt long at all (shorter than the time they told me) & explained everything to me in easy/laymans terms. Consultation was free too. Everyone was nice. Helpful & assertive enough to work through everyone waiting pretty quick. Also, Ive been looking into buying a new phone but didnt like Not seeing them in person. I got to see what I did/didnt want, helpful/friendly service there too, and now I know what I want -- when Im actually ready. 5 Stars for sure.
I was looking for a HDMI splitter because the splitter I purchased online did not work. I purchased the Insignia USB 3.0 to dual HDMI and it works great! I originally went to the store near my home but ended up going to another store a bit further as they did not have it in stock at the first store.
I went to purchase a Galaxy phone s20 out of stock most likely discontinued however the associate there pointing me to a Galaxy Note 5G and I saved $200 it basically had the same functions for $200 less the Samsung Galaxy Note has a built-in stylus which comes in handy at times I was forced to buy a 5G phone because the government is requiring it after the first of 2022 that is according to my cell phone carrier

I bought and paid for a Samsung refrigerator and paid for the delivery and set up. After two days the ice maker had not yet worked. Here it is after going around in circles with Samsung and Bestbuy, we still do not have it fixed. They promised a new replacement because after several attempts at repairing it and replacing it with new parts it still does not work. We have been more than patient. Hell the warranty will expire before we get one.
The long lines waiting to check out are quite disappointing. There were not that many people in the store and we saw numerous employees just standing around. But, there were only 2 working at the registers with nearly 15 people in line. We did not wait and left.
I am happy to purchase electronics from Best Buy! They handle exchanges flawlessly. Personal Laptop and HDMI hub purchased (for work) March 12, returned and exchanged for exact same replacements April 20. Defective usbc port in the laptop. Thank you.

I have used this particular store in Costa Mesa for about 15 years. We have purchased everything from earbuds to televisions and refrigerator to camera equipment. The sales staff seem pretty knowledgeable, and their tech team is always very helpful.
It’s very nice in there! However the parking structure is a little tight and be weary of people crossing in that area! An older guy darted in-front of me and I had to stop quickly so be careful! The stores lay out is nice tho only complaint is the parking!
My rating is based on my experience with management, as it relates to my interactions during a limited sale event. There were clearly back door dealings between staff and patrons with the limited inventory, and when management was confronted they turned a blind eye and ignored me and several others who were also complaining (it was very obvious to many of us who waited hours outside for said sale, that something was afoot with inventory and availability). Unscrupulous practices at this BB prevent me from ever returning.

Bought my Samsung here it wus a good experience and upgrade just make sure they have all supplies on open boxes ther always missing something had to go back 3x no shame.
We went to get appliances (washer, dryer, refrigerator) even though Best Buy didnt have the best price, we decided to get everything here because Roger Becker, he was so knowledgeable and professional that we didnt care to pay a few dollars more. Roger is a good asset to Best Buy. Wish the best to Roger. Well done!!!

Its a nice Best Buy. Staff are super service minded and help you with basically everything. Big plus is that the guy who welcomes you in the store ( tattoo on his throat) is really nice and genuine happy to help you find your way in to the store.
I buy most of my electronic items and televisions from Best Buy. Im an elite member here and I think the heightened levels of customer service that come with being an elite member are valuable... Free shipping, extra discounts, extended return days etc are better than other big stores... I highly recommend Best Buy and shopping online is easy and accurate
After going to three other Best Buys that said online they had what I was looking for this one REALLY did.
Extremely dissatisfied with the support I received from the staff here. I ordered a monitor online and scheduled it to pick it up in store. I did not see an option to purchase the 4 year warranty on the website so I figured I would just pay for it when I pick up my product. When I arrived the gentleman who gave me my product told me that I wasnt able to get the warranty right away since he had closed my account. He told me to give it 5-10 minutes and go to the front checkout to purchase it.I go to the front checkout only to not have the warranty go through. The cashier who helped me was rude and impatient with me telling me my only option was to come back an hour later, with the product, (keep in mind this is a monitor) and try again. I live about 15 miles away and a round trip would take 45 minutes for me which is not worth it if he couldnt guarantee me that it would work. He told me alternatively I can wait an hour around the store and asked me whats the rush for me to leave? I dont have an hour to hang around the store as I was on my lunch break and told him if I can purchase the warranty online or over the phone. Neither options were viable but rather than being polite about it he was impatient and rude and told me to take it or leave it or come back within 15 days.It wasnt until I pushed back was when he presented me the final alternative option which was to sell me the product twice and write a note refunding my first product. I will never Come back to this store ever again.

I purchased over $300 in items yesterday I took everything back today the Customer service is horrible! No wants to help actually Im sorry there was one guy in the T.V section that actually asked me if I needed any help but he was the exception. I was followed by security the whole hour I was in there I was looking for a indoor camera one looked good then Id see another one then if find another and you would think since security was following me the might have called someone to come help me. An associate would walk by they said they didnt know or would point to where I needed to be. I went to cash out I has 5 items the cashier pushed them to me after I paid I just looked at him an he oh did you want a bag? Well yeah that would be nice as Im leaving security is still staring at me so I looked at him and showed him my receipt and told him he wasnt very good at following PAYING customers instead of following me maybe you could have called someone to help me and you could have been following someone else. Today I took all but one item back another rude associate looks at one of the boxes and says Did you buy it with the box like this yes I did! The seal had not been broken. Worst c.s. I will never go to that Best buy ever again South Coast plaza Best buy if you think you might need help do not go to that one.

Went here specifically to get a phone they told me they had, but when I showed up the staff was rude and laughed saying that the phone I wanted was unavailable everywhere and that they couldnt even order it, said good luck and went back to talking amongst themselves and ignored me. I got the same phone from At&t later that day. Also, everything here is overpriced, you can get 99% of what they sell on Amazon for less.
Ok with the all the precautions the stores are taking this isnt so bad. The wait at geek squad was short and everyone was very helpful and kind. They had to keep the computer for a day or so but should be like new when it returns. I love this store, it has great products, informed employees and ready to please. Very clean, all wearing masks, and distancing.
Sales team was very helpful tell I asked them for a flat cart not a shopping cart so I could take my TV out to the car. They looked at me with a lost look that I would ask that. Disabilities come in all types mine is my spine. Needless to say they did nothing.

First you false-advertised a feature on the website, now you wont take the item back because you couldnt help me find the receipt using the item while the Bestbuy tapes were still on the box?! I paid 200$ for a speaker which doesnt have the feature you are advertising on the website and now I am stuck with it. I am not surprise if youre put on the same track as Frys Electronics was put.

Warning, curbside pick up doesn’t work. I ordered a projector that was supposed to be ready that same day. They say you will receive an email once it’s ready. It’s now day 2 and no email. I’ve called multiple times and they won’t answer, saying they are too busy...call back later. You’d get it quicker ordering in Amazon waiting in the Covid line.
We love that Best Buy have Samsung reps working there because they know their phones inside out. Always helpful!!They are making a pitch for the s21 this week.

Perhaps one of my least organized shopping experiences on Black Friday 2020. I followed the website advice for pick up after purchasing online, but the wait was over an hour for them to bring the item out to the parking structure. Management had not allocated more than 3 or 4 people and there were easily 30+ waiting. Eventually we stopped waiting and asked how to pick it up another day, but the people at the front could only direct us to the 800 number. I would avoid going to this store at all costs in the future.
After waiting for 30 minutes for someone to help us get a sound bar, the guy said they didnt have one at that store but another store had to pay it and go pick it up ok perfect. They tell us we found one someone level it wrong BUT its BRAND new. I look at the box and tell them it doesnt look new it dose look open. To which they reply NO!! The product is brand new SOMEONE just put the stickers in the wrong box. All the lies that they told us to sell us a used product for New. Returned it the next day.
