It has taken me a while to find a shop I trust! I live in Houston, and will drive here now for service. Both times I have come in, they have been honest, given great service, and not trying to sell me anything but just give me facts. I had an inspector at another shop in Houston tell me I needed to replace my brake pads soon. Montgomery automotive, free of charge, looked at my brake pads and assured me I still had more than 15k to go until they needed to be replaced. Really nice people who are always so helpful. I went to Montgomery Automotive this morning to have my car inspected, and was in and out in 10 minutes. The waiting area was clean and welcoming and the shop area was also clean and tidy. This was my first time there since moving to Conroe. The appearance of a business tells me a lot about how they run their business, and I was impressed.

My oil was changed very promptly and professionally nice good clean shop

Found the problem but tried to pull one on me Im 67 retired x mechanic I didnt fall for it.

I brought my car here for an oil leak and front brake change after being quoted ridiculous prices at a different shop. They fixed the leak and changed the brakes for a very reasonable price and I was extremely happy with the service! Everyone was very polite and I will be bringing my cars here again if needed!

Front desk either cant articulate a sentence and carry on a conversation or has a sarcasm problem super unprofessional lied to about timeline for a very simple request and issue from the start, I would avoid this business at all costs plenty of other mechanics in the area and would frankly trust a middle schooler more than these guys at- least they could convey words.

My car was making a grinding noise that ANYONE could notice. I took my car in on Wednesday morning and told them that my wheel bearing (By them) was replaced lass than a year ago and it could possibly be the CV axel, they said they’ll look at it and call me that afternoon. No call at all that day. So I call Thursday morning asking if they found anything, they said they’ll call me back in 5-10 minutes. I waited 3 hours and still no call back. Finally I call again and had to leave a message. We make another call and they said they were looking in the back of the vehicle when we told them it was the front drivers side making noise. So they look at it again and call to let me know the only thing they can find is the tires rub. We told them we knew the tires rub before dropping off the car. I’ve given them multiple opportunities to work on my vehicle and it’s never a good experience.

Great customer service. Mr. William assisted me in picking the proper oil for my vehicle since I drive a lot of miles daily.

I get all my inspections and oil changes here.

Great place, Will and James treat me right, I take them my business anytime I have a need, and I highly recommend them to everyone I know. Fair, honest. Dont find too many places like this anymore.

Biggest rip-off Ive ever experienced! First, I told them what vehicle I needed an alignment on and was told they start at $80 and another$45 IF it needed steering angle sensor reprogramming. I bring it in and they just did they alignment without telling me what they were going to change! Then they tell me it had to have the reprogramming and its$110 plus the $45! Then wants to argue with me about me being upset about not being informed. Never will I go to this place again.

Ive then here multiple times in the past few months with both my car and my husbands car. These guys are super honest and theyve given me great prices on everything I havent had any issues with any of the repairs or work they have done. I highly recommend these guys to anybody that needs work on their cars.

Took my Silverado in because the A/C wasnt working, GM has had problems with the condensers that they wont ownn up to. Cesar and the crew at MA fixed it perfectly at a fair price. Had another problem a couple of days later, pulled in and Cesar had it fixed in no time. Give this company a try you wont be disappointed.

Ive been putting off taking my car in to get some repairs done because I just didnt know who to trust. My Dad was in the automotive industry for 40 years and I always went to him for direction when I had any car related questions. He passed away 3 years ago. Ive been needing to take my car in for a power steering issue for months now but just kept putting power steering fluid in each week to get me by. I had taken it to the dealership months ago and that caused me more problems. In recent months my service engine light starting coming on and my AC stopped blowing cold air so I had to take it somewhere. I pass by Montgomery Automotive often when Im going to and from work and thought of taking it there but just never stopped until about a week ago. I was tired of dealing with the problems and made a u-turn after passing their shop and Im so grateful that I did. As soon as I walked in to their office I talked to one of the owners. He listened to my concerns and was so nice and understanding. I just immediately trusted him and decided to leave my car and take an Uber ride home. During the 2 days that they had my car, I talked to a few mechanics that had worked on my car and they too were kind and answered my questions and explained in detail what they were doing. They had my car for 2 days and now my AC is fixed, power steering hose replaced and check engine light issue resolved all at an extremely fair cost. Just after this one visit I can tell you that I will be a Customer going forward. It feels so good to know that I now have a place to take my car where the people are honest, nice and informative. Will and James are good and honest mechanics. Took my Honda Accord in for front wheel bearings. Dealership wanted over $1100. They did it for $500. These bearings were a pain and required extra work. Will didn’t charge me for the extra hours. Great people. Don’t hesitate to take your car here. I found my Montgomery mechanic.

We started taking our vehicles the Montgomery Automotive for Lube, Oil and Filter and have progressively started reaching out to them more. These guys are great! All of our vehicles have had their state inspections done here. They installed my husbands leveling kit. They have our business for life! James and Will are great guys and the prices beat any other shop in the area. Gotta love it!

Quick diagnostic, friendly crew, spotless main building and the prices are ridiculously cheap with great quality. Oil change & brakes done and will come here for anything else I need.

Awesome place, great guys - they can do just about everything you can do to a car, always have them change my oil....just had them do a brake job and they were top notch at a great price... and changed all my fluids in all the boxes, changed my plugs out.... and I work at a car lot and have sent many customers to these guys without a single complaint from anyone and nothing but excellent results.

I had James replace both front wheel bearings on my car. I believed at the time a good job at a decent price was done. The one side only lasted slightly over a year with a one year warranty. It was too soon after just paying 550 for those bearings that I couldnt stop questioning the work that was done. I took my car to the dealer and they found premature failure on the bad side due to over torque/tightening. The side that was fine was not over tightened. I left this information for the manager to give to James. No call back nothing. I believe they used to be some pretty honest guys but it appears it has faded along with their thoroughness.

Had an alignment done there a few months ago and apparently they did not do a very good job. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE

Took my truck here after it failed inspection for the parking brake because my regular mechanic was booked. They told me they had fixed the issue by tightening the brake line, when I got the the parking brake still didnt work. They then told me if I had them inspect it instead they would just pass it anyway but if I wanted it fixed itd be around $200-$300. Took it to my regular mechanic (Codes Auto Repair) they said the brake line hadnt been tightened at all and fixed it for $50.

I remember andrew the new guy when i showed up he was so hopeful. I wont be back so rude unappreciated and they rip you off. i thought he still worked there. He was so nice and polite. And that sounds awful james why would u hit on customers. I am not coming here again i am a woman and i am offended my friend comes here to get her oil changed i am telling everyone not to come here. I understand that your all in your feelings james and will but at the same time what does that have with you not paying taxes to an employee i should call (BBB) hopefully they will investigate you.and why would you try to get my friends number. How professional is that of you to argue with a customer that just shows me how you run your business and of course if i owned a business i would have all my friends post good comments. Why would you try to HIT ON ME JAMES!!!!! THIS IS WRONG GET HELP YOU SICK PERSON.

I like that I took my own oil that I get custom made and the owner made sure it was put in to my exact request and they did it quick while taking good care of my car at the same time.
