Friendly, and concerned for the customers pocketbook. Very reasonable and professional job, done quickly. Thanks so much!!
Mike and Mark did an amazing job. They really know their stuff…helped me work through what I wanted out of my performance and exhaust. They hit a home run! The Edge ST sounds like a European exotic car! Got a performance boost too. Thanks Mike and Mark, you guys ROCK!~Tim Carr
Had them install a kit I purchased on line for my Infiniti Q50. They were extremely professional and very reasonable. Perfect job....will be back with other projects.
I was way overcharged for a small gasket and a little bit of hardware. The job was literally 15 minutes. But they left my car on the lift for more time than it took so it seems like it took longer to do the job. Plus the owner was rather rude. Then they acted like they did me a favor by fixing a hanger that wasnt even broken. Go somewhere else
If youre looking to get any exhaust work done I highly recomend lous custom exhaust in concord nh. The staff is incredibly helpful and friend Kathy their upfront person was extremly helpful and knowledgeable and even drew me out a diagram of my exhaust and explained exactly what they where doing and why this will be the place I go from now on!
I encountered Lous in a search for a qualified professional to rescue my cat back exhaust disaster. They managed to set right what the the previous garage got wrong. Im very happy with Lous attention to detail and Ill be coming back here even to the point of discarding my warranty with the other garage. Lous also does NH Oil Undercoating which Ill certainly be coming back for. I recommend this place for all your exhaust and undercoating needs.
Knowledgable people who are good at explaining what they do to people who dont know anything about cars.
Husband and Wife team, they are very professional very knowledgeable of their exhaust business. They make your ride sound good...vroom!
They did my 2021 civic which came out awesome. Now they just did y 2019 Ram Big Horn. BEYOND PLEASED. Truck sounds great. Ill be a lifetime customer at this point!!! 10/10
Came in without a mid pipe, left with a from the cat back new exhaust for a pretty reasonable price. Was offered a selection of options for different price levels, all are reasonable, just depends on how you want to address your needs. Great waiting room and accommodations, friendly staff!
First time at Lous after recommendation from Weeds Automotive in Concord. Lous was ready for my 1933 Packard promptly at 9am and refitted a supplied muffler with new hangars. GREAT JOB! Runs and sounds great having paid particular attention to period correctness and installation detail.......all in 1.5 hours of labor. Very satisfied.
AWESOME JOB AS ALWAYS.....Been going to this place for at least 7 years maybe more does amazing work thank you again see you again.....
I called yesterday to get a quote on a problem I was having with my exhaust. I got in this morning for them to look at it, was quoted an AMAZING price and had my car worked on which seemed like immediately! I would highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone I know! Thank you so much for the easy and effortless process! My car sounds incredible and quiet as a mouse!!!!
The new exhaust they installed started to squeak due to vibration 2 days after installation. Made a follow up appointment assuming they would take care of it but instead they wanted to charge me an additional $150 to install a new donut gasket and exhaust bolts. I paid $700 for the aluminized exhaust with catalytic converter in addition to them keeping my catalytic converter which was worth $350 in scrap. A week later I went to get the squeak fixed by my typical mechanic and I found out they put a very cheap universal catalytic converter in by just cutting my oem one out from the down pipe and welding in a new one which I believe is what caused the vibration that made it squeak. Don’t like to give negative reviews but that was my experience.
Amazing is all I can say. If you need exhaust work go here you wont be disappointed. People super friendly waiting area spotless and comfortable. And the best is the work. I had a cat back system done on a Tundra in Stainless with I think what was called a turbo muffler. I wanted just a touch of exhaust note this was the perfect choice sounds great!
Quality work done on time
Definitely recommend quick easy, they are very knowledgeable and nice people.
Amazing customer service! Greeted right away and they quickly were able to help me in the same day! Great atmosphere to wait in. I was with my son and we played a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade style game while we waited and time flew by!
Just wanted to thank you guys for doing such a great job on my exhaust. I couldnt be happier. Ive searched online for exhaust for my car, watched videos of all the expensive exhaust but couldnt afford what I was looking for in sound. You definitely achieved the sound i was looking for. I will recommend you to all of my friends. Thank you!
Calling several shops locally and abroad NO WHERE was willing to do what I wanted to pay for. I called CONCORD LOUS, and a Very knowledgable, polite, lady answering the phone, and she was amazing got me in quick and out, and I could NOT be happier with their work !!!! Sounds terriffic. And very friendly ppl . I recommend them to anyone who wants a nice exhaust system . MONEY WELL SPENT ! So glad I found them. They are pros.... oh and certainly a fair price !I am a fan.THANKS !!
Just made an appointment with them to do my headers and muffler. The lady I spoke to knew her stuff and got me right in for an appointment. I live in Manchester and dont dare to go to the Manchester lous had 2 bad experiences with them. Concord lous so far is great.Update. Welds are falling apart they put my hangers on sideways then told me its my motor mounts faults. Mind you they are new. Paid 2500 dollars and its falling off and the stainless steel is rusting out. The welds are beginner at best. $2500 they wanted tto make me wait 2 weeks re weld couple hangers.
Had my Ram NH oil undercoated. It came out awesome, so much attention to detail!
Professional, friendly and do awesome exhaust work..
The BEST place ever - everyone is so kind, helpful and aware of your time. HIGHLY recommend Lous for even just a basic exhaust repair. YOU are ALL the BEST
Spend a little over 500 bucks on a flowmaster exhaust that lasted a little over 2 years when I called they said that was the life expectancy. I have put flowmasters on every truck Ive ever owned and they lasted more than 2 years. I understand i didnt get stainless and we live in new England but this truck does not ever see salt I dont drive it when the roads are salty or when it snows. He Should have stood by it. Im a mechanic and Ive put aftermarket exhaust on cars and they last longer than 2 years. Not happy wont go back
Very happy with my dual exhaust (true duals) Keep up the good work!!!! Thank you
Beware of diagnosis. I brought my minivan for a rattling sound from my exhaust system. I suspected it was a heat plate, as it did not sound like an exhaust leak. The mechanic put it up on the lift to look at it and came back into the office to say that I needed a new catalytic converter as well as removal of a heat shield. The cost was going to be $300 and he was happy to schedule an appointment for me the following day. I wanted a second opinion. I had my dad take a look at it with me and we found that there was connection before the catalytic converter, mounted between 2 spring-loaded bolts. This was the site of the rattle. The gasket between pipes had completely disintegrated. Cost of gasket and hardware... $20.If you need a new muffler or other obvious exhaust repair, Im sure Lous is fine. But if youre looking for an honest diagnosis from a source you can trust, look elsewhere.
Excellent customer service, SOLID WORKMANSHIP, GREAT RESULT !Ive talked to a lot of exhaust shops these, but these guys are top notch. CONCORD LOUS will do it right.
Brought my car in today for a quote and they ended up doing it right away.. Great customer service and fast service took about an hour..
When our exhaust started making noise we brought it to the dealer and found we needed a whole new exhaust system. The dealer quoted well over $1000 for the job, but for a car with over 170k miles it wasn’t worth the expense so they recommended we try Lou’s. We called, they got us in the next day to look at it and got the whole job done that same day for about half the cost the dealer quoted. After picking it up something was still rattling in the exhaust. We brought it back and even though he was really busy he took a look at it and fixed the problem within an hour. We’re very happy with our new exhaust and how much money we were able to save by going here.
Brought in a very uncommon Maserati to have some custom exhaust work done. I cant remember the name of the guy but he did a great job and was excellent to work with. I even screwed up my appointment (made it with the wrong Lous shop) but he was very forgiving and got me in later the same day. Thanks, it sounds amazing!
One of the many factors that play a part in automotive work on ones vehicle is personal referrals, and my first visit to Lous Custom Exhaust in Concord started the same way. I was referred by a friend, and was told that the prices were reasonable and service was what I would be looking for.A couple of years later, I am still a very satisfied customer of Lous Custom Exhaust, and go to Jim for all of my automotive needs. As long as youre honest with him and have realistic expectations, you will be, too. Ive spent almost $1,500 there over the years, am now taking my new car there for the preventive maintenance that it needs to continue working at its best, and just paid the lowest price Ive ever experienced for a full synthetic oil change. Ive never been blindsided by the service or bill that I received at Lous in Concord, because Jim always tells me exactly what my car needs, what hes going to do, and what its going to cost, and thats precisely what I get, so there are no surprises. The customer service area for this location is very comfortable and there are video games for the kids (of all ages) to help pass the time, if your repair needs are scheduled to take a bit longer than the average. While he is still getting himself settled into this particular location (having only moved a couple months or so ago), its clear that he cares about the comfort of his clientele.I highly recommend Lous Custom Exhaust to all of my friends and family; Jim is my go-to guy for everything automotive and I look forward to continuing our business relationship. If youre looking for a new mechanic, from the basic oil change to more intensive work, I suggest stopping by to see Jim at Lous Custom Exhaust.
I work at an automotive garage and we regularly recommend Lous to people when the vehicle needs specialty welding or if someone is looking to have a flex pipe welded in instead of having the pipe replaced. Everyone is always very happy with their results.
How can you say Awesome. The best service ever. Will definitely recommend this place.
Great customer service and more than fair in price! I needed a muffler and exhaust leak fixed and another local station gave me an outrageous quote. I went to Jim and got a WAAAY better exhaust for my money! He was great to deal with and I never felt I was getting scammed or taken advantage of, I love this place and my new exhaust!
Jim is the best at what he does I dont trust anyone else to do such a fantastic job he is also honest unlike some garages. If you want it done right the first timeAnd want someone who isnt gone mess up your vehicle I suggest going to Lous in Concord .
Lous of Concord, nh are friendly, knowledgeable and skilled.
The Concord shop did a repair on my old Volvo for state inspection. Everybody else wanted to simply replace the parts (new imported Volvo parts cost almost as much as the car is worth). Lous Custom made a new catback exhaust for half the price of the replacement parts. Car is back on the road now and legal & saved me $800.00!
They did an amazing job. Price was reasonable.
Did an excellent job on my 05 Ford Focus Cat-Back system nice and clean work thank you so much for taking pride in your work
The person that runs the Concord shop is an absolute con artist. Brought my truck in for new exhaust manifolds, the guy claimed he broke several studs while doing the job... After picking up my truck and bring it to another shop, they confirmed none of the studs were broken or replaced. Also, exhaust still leaked after picking the truck up. None of the bolts were tightened and he reused old gaskets. Absolute joke!
Fantastic business, straightforward, friendly, and well priced. Saved me $1000 on exhaust repairs.
I have had both my vehicles done here. I had a stainless steel cat back exhaust, installed on a 2014 GMC Sierra with super 40s. The sound is great and the craftsmanship is sturdy and well done. Jim is easy to work with for scheduling or what you want on your vehicle. My exhaust system has been through two winters with no issues. I recently had my 2008 Subaru Imprezas exhaust system went. I was able to get a next appointment for a cat back exhaust system. Couple hours later the work was done. The price was fair and cheaper than paying a mechanic to buy a bolt on system and install it. I am satisfied with the sound my car now produces. Would definitely recommend this shop to people! And the new location is on 131 Old Turnpike Rd.
Did a great job of putting on a custom exhaust on my 66 mustang
Customer service at its best. Jim in the concord location is a stand up guy. He knows his exhaust and prides himself in quality and customer service. Highly recommend the concord location for all your exhaust needs.
I was very pleased with the job that they did.I would recommend any one to go there .
Fast, friendly service. Great prices as well.
Very affordable, nice people. Car sounds great!
Dropped in and got an estimate. Shopped around, and found price was fairly typical. Wanted to go local, so I went back. Jim did a great job for me. Hes even got an Xbox set-up for customers to pass the time while waiting. Really pleased with the work.
Quick, inexpensive, and top of the line work. This guy knows his stuff and it shows.
Awsome job and great work. Installed a flowmaster super 10 on my beast...Thank you
Very reasonable prices great work great people!
Excellent service. Great people. I would recommend anybody there. I am very please with their work and pricing.
Honest and incredibly affordable - look no further for any kind of exhaust work (and then some, according to the website and signs)! Ive used Jims services for three different exhaust-related repairs, and each time Ive left his shop with a quality repair done at a super reasonable price. One previous reviewer thought that Jim was trying to upsell him (bring your car to the Audi dealership if you want a froofy lounge, buddy), but Ive experienced the complete opposite each time. Jim has had the opportunity to oversell me by replacing entire assemblies, yet each time hes instead offered a simple (and completely effective) repair solution for significantly less money. I always thought that I wouldnt be able to find this type of technician once my Dad retired from the business (with nearly 50 years experience), but Jim has proven me wrong! I highly recommend this shop. And his new location on Old Turnpike Road has a much nicer waiting area, for you Audi folks.
We went for an estimate for work on our car and he was very honest and refused to do it because he couldnt guarantee that he could make the car safe.
Did a great job! Very pleased with the work he did.
Great service affordable prices
Great place to do business with friendly and fast service
Jim was very helpful and easy going! Great guy to do business with.
Better just go to the derry location better service/price/quality!
I went to Lous Concord looking to replace my stock muffler with something a bit less restrictive and to my surprise I was in and out within a 30 MINUTESThat can only be done from years of experience! One happy customerThanks Lous Concord 👍
This review is for the CONCORD Lous Custom Exhaust, not the franchise. If you need a basic cut and weld type guy, he can handle that. I wouldnt try asking any questions though, he is hardly knowledgeable or helpful and will just try to upsell you.I brought my vehicle in to delete factory resonators (to solve a problematic rattle coming from the FRONT of car). For starters the lobby is stone cold heated by a single kerosene portable heater. Bring your wool socks for this trip. The job was complete in a timely fashion, paid my bill and left. The rattle that I was hoping to cure was not gone after the work so I returned a few days later and asked for some help diagnosing the source. I told him it sounded like it was still coming from the front of vehicle. He puts it up in the air cuts it open, shakes a few things and welds it back up. Tells me he doesnt hear anything. Well thats because he never asked nor gave me the chance to describe the problem he just pulled it in right away. I tell him the rattle is at 1500rpm and if I could demonstrate it for him while in the shop and he says no way. He bangs his fist on the pipes and says the rattle is coming from middle to back of car and needs a whole new system. (The car is a 2012 Audi) I insist the rattle is not coming from anywhere near the back and he wont hear it and starts belittling me saying No matter how may times you tell me its coming from the front its not going to change the fact that its not. After a $700 quote to replace the exhaust His way I left there and found a better mechanic.I went to Lous custom exhaust in MANCHESTER after this and had them replace the center resonator with a magnaflow part thinking that MAYBE my hearing is junk and giving the Concord guy the benefit of the doubt that the rattle was further back. NOPE!Lous in Manchester was much more friendly and eager to help. They revved the car to the target 1500rpm while the car was in the air. The down-pipes vibrated very aggressively and chattered the whole exhaust system. They cut open the first shops work and found a ball of solder/weld sitting inside the pipe. That wasnt the problem but it definitely was also making noise. While we were still unable to pinpoint what the cause was, the noise was definitely from the down-pipes vibrating at that RPM. The problem was solved today by welding a piece of metal between both down-pipes, connecting them just behind the transmission by another local mechanic. Not sure why they were vibrating like that but apparently connecting them together balanced everything out.Moral of the story, spend an extra $3 in gas and drive to Lous in Manchester for more honest work and a friendlier experience. They also have heat.
Very good service.
Exceeded all my expectations! Sounds great!
Got me taken care of for a decent price
