My husband and I started seeing Nate 3+ years ago at American Ear and we can’t imagine going anywhere else. The office staff is friendly, efficient and caring. The hearing testing is done by Nate with state-of the-art equipment. His careful reading of the tests resulted in Nate’s making excellent suggestions on types of aids we needed. In our follow-up visits, he listens to our concerns and makes adjustments as needed and we believe our hearing is as good as it can be. Nate is a warm, caring, concerned professional. He’s earned our trust and we highly recommend him.

I work at home on the phone & Nate did all the research for me to make sure that my headset worked with my hearing aids. I especially love the Bluetooth my Hearing aids have that stream my IPhone calls through them. I would not ever consider anyone else to take care of me.!!!

My husband and I have been wearing hearing aids for many years. We both suffer from noise induced hearing loss and I, especially, was having extreme difficulty across most frequencies. We moved to the Columbus area about 2.5 years ago and I immediately sought a place to get our hearing checked; neither of us was hearing well. We made an appointment at American Ear and saw Nate Colace. Nate has changed our lives. With diligent testing using state of the art equipment, evaluation of results, detailed explanation as to what was going on and what it meant and with replacement of our existing hearing aids with ones that are more versatile and better suited to each of us, we can now communicate with each other, hear our grandchildrens voices, watch TV together and enjoy the company of our friends and family. I was trying to lip-read in order to participate in conversations. Now I have the ability to adjust the settings on my hearing aids in many ways depending upon need and circumstances. My husband had difficulty hear the pitch of my voice; now he can. The team at American Ear is professional and empathetic, their offices are patient friendly and immaculate. Their follow-up is excellent and much appreciated.
