Whenever I have a problem I cant fix myself, these guys take care of me at a very reasonable price! I have been going here for about 4 years. They have done big and small jobs for me. I have a 96 suburban that has basically been restored between A1 discount and I. Water pump, all radiator hose, ac compressor, brake master cylinder, handful of sensors, front suspension rebuilt, intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, pulley, belts, radiator and more!! Definitely recommend these guys to anyone. Come in with respect and they will treat you like family.

I have to give credit where it is due. This is truly a great shop. Every time I need something done, they treat me with so much respect. They are reasonable and willing to work with your budget. They even gave me a ride home while they worked on my vehicle for the day. I didnt even ask but knew my back tires were low, when I got it back they had even taking care of that for me! I always leave feeling pleased...I just had to write a review!

Went to have a head lamp replaced. They replaced it. Came back 10 minutes later and head them say when I pulled back up Its out again they told me I needed the Blance replaced that was the issue. Nope......the issue is they did not install it correctly ant it was pointing upwards instead of straight. They fixed it bit it could have caused a fire!

Spent thousands of dollars at this shop to get my vehicle fixed and other cars. I had to come back and forth to this shop multiple times with the same issues. Paid to have a engine replaced and ac fixed. I’m pregnant with twins and have two toddlers. Every other day my ac goes out and my engine light keeps coming on. The new engine Also has bad motor mounts. The very last time I picked my vehicle up it had a quarter dent on my driver side door! Tried to handle this issue with the owner John but he barely knows how to run his business. I wasted so much time and money coming back and forth when he knew exactly what was wrong with my AC and engine just kept lying. I had to take my vehicle to another shop to get it fixed correctly which cost me more money!

I want to thank John, his son Rodger and the rest of the crew for the outstanding work that was done on my BMW Z4M Convertable top. I was treated with respect and the work was top notch and very professional.The prices were great and I know they gave me the best discount they could offer. Thanks guys and keep up the good work.

My fellas rite here,MUCH LUV.Im next door@kfc,I knw everybody in the shop by name&all cooler than a FAN HAHAHAAA I put like $1500 into my Cadillac,John and the fellas done about $1200 worth and many of my co workers and family as well.

This isn’t a real tough 5 star rating for me but I did have some issues. 1 I had a budget on an already expensive repair so I found a cheaper engine alternative with only a few sensors switched over ($1,500 engine vs $2,600) but he went with the more expensive motor to guarantee no additional problems. Which I understand but I could have potentially saved myself $900 if he would have took my suggestion. (I was a mechanic for 5 years) we went over budget because my turbos ended up being bad and $270 in taxes.. everywhere else wanted 4500-5400 for the job and he had me at less than 4100.The reason for the good review is the car game back perfect and he put my tires on for free he was the cheapest on engine labor by a mile. His technicians were pretty smart too!

Way overpriced,I had a three foot brakeline replaced parts roughly $20. No rusty problems the lines were new but one had bent and was leaking.....$200 for a half HR. Job,and now my brake light stays on...wasnt on before. Poor service,Unqualified Techs.

People by all means try staying away from this place. I spent thousands of dollars dealing with these people and I can not explain how disgusting and disrespected I feel. The owner John is a joke and far from the honest business man he portrays to be. To explain further, this man took my girlfriends GMC Acadia and totally disrespected it by doing faulty repairs which has cost me thousands more to repair after taking it from his shop. Not only that when we picked the vehicle up the cup holder was full with ashes, the floor had ashes, tobacco from a blunt shell and a butt from marijuana on the floor and we don’t smoke at all!!! Please people do your homework on where you get your repairs done on your vehicle because a1 discount isn’t the place I promise you.

If I could give this shop negative stars, I would. We had to take my car back 4 TIMES because they kept trying to cut corners. At one point I broke down with my 4 year old in the car because they didnt put a bolt back when they changed my breaks. They did work without or permission and kept trying to charge more for the work we did agree upon. Dont even get me started on how the owner treated me. I have never felt so disrespected. Now Im dealing with yet another issue because of this awful work they did. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR!!!

The owner was very knowledgeable and I could tell he wasnt just making me get repairs done for my truck. But he honestly cared.... Gooo see joe I send my wife and her family now they will get the job done bottom line. BTW thanks again Joe my car has never ran smoother until u.

A1 crooks!!!!! The worst auto shop hands down! I had to come back 4 times is 1 day for them to fix the mistakes! They half screw on bolts to cause possible issues so you have to come back. I am still getting issues fixed that they fixed before. I refuse to take my car back to them and have them fix anything so I will pay out of pocket rather than go back to them through my warranty company. Since I had a warranty they saw dollar signs and racked up false claims through my warranty company. Take is from me if at all possible DO NOT take your car here you will regret it!

Took my mustang there,owner John promised good workmanship,short story, ATTEMPTED to leave parking lot,car cut off halfway in street and lot.Couldnt get it started, boyfriend got out his truck, got it started after MANY attempts. The STAFF WATCHED as we struggled. DONE!!!! Dont recommend AT ALL!!!!!

My car was left with A1 Discount Auto Care in Whitehall for less than 24 hours. First the rental they gave me to drive while they fixed my vehicle broke down. Then I discovered my car with the sunroof open, windows rolled down, trash in the front passenger seat and someones clothes in my backseat. The OWNER got in my face when I asked why my car was being driven for reasons other than for its repair. It took a considerable amount of time to get my keys from them so I could take my car somewhere else to be repaired. I WONT be returning to this business while its under the current owners or management!

Fixed my engine for a great price, but when asked about fixing a serpentine belt was told it would be the same price as it would to fix my engine?¿ vavoline charges $90 so I was honestly surprised when they said this...

Good people, but service is: meh; had to come back several times since they couldnt align my car right. Not to mention that the back smell like weed.

I went in to have my fuel pump replaced and picked my truck up $450 later with more issues then before I took it in. Now my brakes are not working and the owner gives me some bulls*** excuse as to why, but they were working perfectly fine before it was brought in. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!

I came here to get a oil change and alignment which took from 10am until 4:30 pm because they was busy breaking things underneath my car. I left with my car not aligned at all and shaking when I drive. I brought my car back now they are saying I need a rearward control arm for $300. My car didn’t have any problems at all until I brought it to this shop. So I came back the next day which is today and have been waiting for an hour already which they said give them 30mins. The last time I came here to get my air conditioner fixed they had my car so messed up I had to get 2000 worth of work done on it. I am going to check to see if I can see what exactly was done to my car so I can sue and get my money back from them ASAP

First let me start off as the people there do have good customer service, very nice people....but I took my Buick there to get one problem analyzed to get fixed. They told me they knew exactly what it was and 600 dollars later it would be no problem. They did work with me but I get it fixed and had the same problem as when I started with then told me it could be I need a tune up. I was very disappointed at that point just for the fact I wanted that one problem token care of and wasnt. Im still very upset. Even one of the workers gave me another card to another car shop which was confusing basically telling me Im getting ripped off. I probably would had kept going there but after the whole experience I cannot. It is what it is.

Did work without my permission and then charged me for it. They said they aligned my car but I took it to Midas about a month later and they said I need to have it aligned and it looks like it hadn’t been aligned in the first place.

Guys that work here are honest about what needs to be done to your car.

I have a single cab chevy truck with the cloth bench seat. I was told my problem was electrical behind the dash bord. Now they fixed my electrical problem with no headache. But when I got inside my truck after it was done. My cloth seats was full of dirt and grime. Took it back up to them and was told they didnt do it. That they just sat behind the steering wheel and nothin else, to fix the problem behind the dash bord with very little space. That did not add up, no matter what you would definitely have to either sit or lay across that bench seat to do anything under the dash bord. Im just saying. Be sure to document the condition of your car interior before you drop it off to them. They wont take care of it or lay something down so this doesnt happen.

Brought my car in for a simple oil and filter change . The owner John is yelling at the mechanic to hurry up and finish !They tell me I have a rear main seal leak !My car is under warranty so I bring it the next day to Byers VW who inspect my car and tell me it’s the oil plug leaking . They change the oil again and install a new oil plug and no more leak .A1 cost me $300 for a simple oil and filter change . Complete and total rip off artists . Avoid them like the plaque !
