I had my truck fixed here. They couldnt tell me exactly what work they did, but assured me it was wiring. They charged me 1000 dollars.When I got the truck back it was worse then when I dropped it off. I got more lights in my dashboard and a clonking sounds from the engine, then a ton of smoke as I was getting to work.They towed it back to the shop, did something to it again, and gave it back. No more smoke, but I was left with extra lights on, on my dash. Which is why I said I got it worse than when I left it. And they wanted more money to keep working on it.I just feel bamboozled by this place. Be careful who you let work on your car

Went to have my thermostat changed lee want there they had this guy that only been there for three weeks he didnt put my overflow back on and by the time I got home I had fluid all over my engion and i called the owner called me a boy and was very disrespect had been going there for yrs he called the mechanic and he told him he didnt know if he should put it back on or if I was going to pay for labor ft or him to put it on is a 5 sec job to put it on like common common sence its needs to be put on lol I m not a mechanic

The car got towed and I was supposed to be notified when the car had got to the shop but nobody never called me I had to call them. Then they took an extra 2days on my car after being told it would be fixed In 1day then on top of all of this someone at that shop stole my licenses plate stickers I do not recommend this repair shop to anybody!!!!!!!!!

Stole my money. I paid a lot of money and they didnt fix the problem. They pretended to fix it and probably sent back the good parts to pocket the refund. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE! Not to mention they broke things inside my care while taking out the dashboard. Criminals!

This place is a joke. Charged me $399.00 still had to have my car towed again to Byers. Byers was awesome fixed in one day. Great service. This so called E.Z auto repair offers money off for you to give them a good review. I question most of these reviews for them. Mechaniic actually yelled at me and the two truck driver when taking it out of there to Byers. DONT GO HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I called the owner of the shop who said they knew how to do brakes on a 96 ford bronco. We agreed on 75 dollars which was reasonable to put the brakes and rotors in and he let me bring my own parts. After I drop the bronco off he calls the next day saying I need to replace the hub but you don’t the way the brakes come off is different which is why I asked him if he knew how to do them before I dropped it off. So he almost had me buy 2 new hubs one for each side and that would’ve been another 200 dollars when it wasn’t necessary and someone with 30+ years experience should know. We ended up paying 150 dollars because he said it didn’t expect it to take that long when I told him it was a pain to do in the first place and he had the nerve to say to me then why didn’t you just do it. After that he said he would give me 5% off if I wrote a good review on google 😂

About a month and a half ago, I came here for rear brakes. Once repaired the mechanic informed me that I also needed my front breaks repaired. I wasnt able to get them replaced that day so I decided to come back.The day came and I dropped my car off for front brakes repair. After paying, I asked the mechanic how was everything and he said that nothing was wrong with my front brakes and it was my rear instead. He still purchased the parts and put them on anyway.He asked me who told me that I needed front brakes, I pointed to his partner and he said you cant listen to a big dummy, he doesnt know what hes doing. I was agitated, but he insisted that though nothing was wrong, the noise and my ability to stop had improved.It did not, I immediately called back after leaving and told the mechanic that I was disappointed. He told me hell speak with the boss and call me back. Ive called multiple times and no answer.I called twice before the job was done to check on the progress and he called once complete. Not once did he say my front was fine. So I basically wasted money for something that was not broken in the first place. Which is crazy to me because if hed called me to tell me the front was fine, i would have still done business with them to fix the problem. But, instead they played me.It saddens me to write this because these guys helped me before and I WAS a returning customer. But this is unacceptable, they took my money for a service that didnt need to be fixed. If this is how you treat your loyal customers, shame on you.Use caution with these guys or better yet spend your money elsewhere!

Please never take ur car to Ez Auto, they will give you an estimate without telling u what’s wrong with ur car. My experience was horrible customer service was very poor. The lady was telling me to shout up or take my car. Less than 2 months they said they fixed my car and car won’t start and I took it back and the gave me a total estimate and I paid and they said take the car home car will reset after driving so after 2 days I took car again for the same problem and they asked me to pay again or take “MY CAR NEVER TO COME BACK” still has the same problem.

I took my car here and they claimed it was a wiring problem so once I got my car back the radio inside lights & side review mirrors no longer worked. They wouldnt correct their work without additional charge.

I dont get why all the negative reviews. The first time I took my van there, they fixed the brake line and charged me a couple hundred less than another place I used to go to. The brakes still had some air in them so I went back and the mechanic got the rest of the air out. All in all it cost me like around $130. Was an AMAZING price to me because it took them about a good 4 hours. The last time I went, the mechanic (Tony) told me the worst news that everything was essentially shot. Rather than quoting me a large price he told me it would be smarter just to scrap it. The honesty alone is the reason why I choose them! I need to get the wheel bearing replacedon my new car and I will be going to EZ Auto! Love the honesty and price. Plus I think Calvin is a great negotiable guy! Everyone there is great to talk to. Tony even let me see everything was doing. They have nothing to hide! THANK YOU!

My girlfriend went here and her car was held from her for 5 DAYS for a measly door handle problem and a heating unit fix. Two days after she got her car back her engine is now overheating and we’ll probably have to get it towed. Her back seat had dog prints on them and her gear placement handle was torn off and broken. DO NOT GO HERE! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS. The owner has clearly fabricated the 5 star reviews (with proof shown in a separate review), he apparently gives people discounts if they write in a five star review. NOTICE how the 5 star reviews have little to know detail with some of the most general statements. The sea of 1 star reviews are the real ones.My girlfriends car recently had some problems with the transmission and was unsafe to drive any great distance to get to a reasonable mechanic. That being said we searched for a mechanic locally on google and came across this establishment. Blindly seeing that it had 4 stars we decided to make an appointment to take it there. BIG MISTAKE.This place is the farthest thing from a legitimate business practice with the owner being the greasiest of them all. It took a WEEK to get her car back from a Diagnostics check that we were told would only take 24 hours. We will call you when we figure out whats going on. 4 days later and we had not heard anything! We finally call and they had absolutely nothing for us. Oh its a problem with the transmission, we are looking for parts at the junkyard. Im very lucky we called them because it appears once they got those parts, they were going to begin maintenance with no authorization to do so! They were obviously not trained or had any skillful mechanics to ACTUALLY diagnose the problem. We paid over $70 for an answer we already knew with no specifications, parts, what caused it, how to fix it, etc. Biggest waste of time and money. Even after asking for all this information AGAIN they wrote us a lazy cause and repair diagnosis (that said transmission) on a wrinkled up piece of scrap paper. Thankfully we were able to pull her car out of there before these untrained fools started hacking at it, most likely causing more damage than repairing!I see now a lot of people have said This place is a nightmare and you have been warned. LISTEN TO THEM! From start to finish you will be in the dark while this slum chop shop has your car with ZERO communication. It appears the owner is unable to roll with the punches and make changes. So he comes on here and takes out his frustrations on innocent, unsatisfied customers with legitimate problems. He likes to make himself the good guy by attempting to put himself above others with insults. I can already tell the owner is fuming in front of his computer or phone at this moment. Before you respond with an illiterate, childish statement, dont bother.

Something isnt right with this place. I found these people online, called and talked to the gentlemen with the accent, gave me a fair price, and all seemed legit. He mentioned they offer towing. I asked him how much that would be. He says $55. I ask him how much to replace the engine. He quotes me $950.I was going to use them but just happened to have their website still up on my screen. I see that all towing inside I-270 is $40. Also theres a 25% discount off ALL services. Then on Craigslist, they are bombarding that website with ads daily mentioning labor rates are negotiable. It would seem that they just make up prices as they go. Strange.I decided to search for reviews online and I wasnt able to find ONE positive review anywhere. Only horrible experiences from people who have taken their vehicles there. I think Ill steer clear of them.

Our front brake pads and rotors needed to be changed really bad. We went to Pepboys, our usual auto repair place, but they quoted us $400 for parts and labor. My husband found this place through google and we’re so glad! We were able to schedule an appt last minute for New Year’s Eve. We got our parts at Autozone and brought them in which only costed us $100. When we went in for our appt, we were taken care of immediately and estimated service was supposed to take approximately 2 hours but they got it taken care of within an hour for us! Service was $150 plus taxes and we used card which added 4%, but still we ended up paying over $100 less than what Pepboys would’ve charged us!! The guys here are so hard working and respectful. Highly recommend

I was in Columbus from out of town and needed my car looked at to make sure I could drive it home 2 hours away. Called and they said they would look at it and get back to me first thing Sunday. Dropped it off Saturday night. Waited a few hours after they opened Sunday. I had to call 4 times throughout they day and each time they said they would get to it later. I missed an event I had tickets to waiting to hear.l anything. Finally right before they closed I called and demanded to pick up my car. All they did was hook it up to a diagnostic computer. I could have done that at autozone. The guy working was completely clueless as to what errors they even were. The owner Calvin called me a liar and a scammer when I demanded my money back. Look somewhere else for good, honest service.

Terrible place. I would never go back here. I left my car with them and by the time I left it had 3 more issues than when I had gone in with just 1. They even hit my car! They dented it and then tried to fix it, all the while claiming it hadn’t been them. Bad mistake taking it here. Plus their costs are ridiculous! They were trying to charge me over $100 to change a sensor that took 30 seconds to change myself. Lost money and left with a car in worse conditions than when I took it in.

TRAP. The owner (Calvin) is a liar, and a weasel, and knows it so he tries to barricade himself from lawsuits by having you sign documents that remove him of all responsibility. His handshake, and more importantly his word, mean NOTHING. This place quoted me 4 weeks to rebuild my Eldorado 500 engine; I told them Id be moving in twelve. Two days before my move they hadnt even had the heads machined yet.They finally finished my car FIVE MONTHS LATE when I was on the other side of the country, STILL charged me for it despite not fulfilling their agreement at all, and to top it all off put in KNOWN low-quality pistons that chipped just over a year later causing a crack in the block which will probably cost me $1000 to remedy. Stay away from this place, or better yet bulldoze it.

He is BOTH A LIAR AND A THIEF! HE STOLE $325.00 CASH FROM ME. He said he would diagnose my car. I took it in. HE called later that evening and he told me the ALTERNATOR was bad and had to be replaced. I told him I knew the alternator was fine. I had already had it checked out by batteries plus as well as an auto parts store and another mechanic. He started yelling that I would know more than him. I asked him If you replace my alternator, will it get rid of what was going on, he said YES!!!! Trust me he said, I know what is wrong. He called me Monday to tell me the car was ready and it was going to cost more AND I MUST BRING CASH!! Even though I wanted to pay him by my credit card. He said he ONLY TAKES CASH. When I arrived, I asked if the engine was fine and the battery was no longer blinking. He said NO-That I needed to have my air conditioner compressor replaced, which I was aware of and told him I thought was the problem initially and stated, YOU DID NOT FIX MY CAR! He insisted he did. He gave me the alternator out of the car which I had requested and took it to 4 Auto parts stores in Columbus to have it tested. IT PASSED EVERY TEST EVERY TIME!!!! I have the signed printouts to prove it. He took an OEM part out of my car and replaced it with an inferior product. HE SAID HE WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY . I WILL BE TAKING HIM TO COURT. I WOULD NEVER TRUST HIM TO DO ANYTHING. HE went after the low hanging fruit and probably didnt have my part tested. I took it to the auto parts store he suggested as well and it passed all 3 tests there also. DO NOT TRUST HIM!! BIG RED FLAG THAT HE REQUIRES CASH ONLY! Please find a mechanic with integrity. They are out there. THIS MAN IS NOT ONE OF THEM!

My experience with this company wasnt the greatest. Shop owner was very confusing and inconsistent. He kept my car for several days and kept telling me one thing was wrong--then it turned out something different was wrong. Had to call multiple times just to get an update about my vehicle. When asked to test drive my car, he demanded that I pay him first. This man is a con artist, I wouldnt recommend anyone utilizing this business.

I had my A/C compressor replaced and A/C system recharged. I was worrying about this place, but it seems like it did work out for me. Saved me some $ even though I was really worrying about my car being fixed after reading other bad reviews. I diagnosed myself the problem, but had no special A/C evac tool to fix it myself. The price they quoted me was very fair price, and paid off for me. They said there is 30 days warranty. So far A/C works and hope there is no any leaks there.
