My wife took her RAV4 in to have her left rear tire patched. Tire was fixed and she left. Later in the month I heard a clinking sound in the same tire. I took the tire off and took the tire loose from the rim. The tire pressure sensor and some black tape was laying inside. They obviously had broken the sensor during the tire repair and taped it back in place to get it off their lot. Tape finally failed to hold it in place and fell free. Contacted them and they said the sensor would have more damage if they had broken it at the time of the repair. The tire had not been off since their repair. Those were the only 2 objects in the tire. Spare tire was installed and the clinking stopped. They said we would have to buy a new sensor and they would put it in.Took it to the Toyota dealership and its $250 for part, tire remount and sensor calibration. I would never recommend them.Response after Bates answered:There was nothing in that tire except the black tape and that sensor when I took the tire off the rim. The noise has stopped after Toyota dealership replaced the sensor and put the tire back on. You tell me what was clinking. You think I just took the tire off for practice? You or one of your technicians is dishonest. Period

Bates use to be the top tire shop but now not so much customer service is only applied to business favorites and if u dnt purchase from them they wont fix or mount a tire purchased from another retailer and the prices are MUCH HIGHER than competitors But the gentleman that work outside are awesome n friendly and if they could do more they would

Not very happy with service.. we had purchased with them before and was good but this time we were told since we did not live in Columbus we couldnt finance didnt make since because finance company (Harbor Financial)was located in Tupelo as well called and spoke to Greg and was pretty much fast talked and blown off will never deal with again!

The services sucks at this place. Its based on who you know, the good ole boy type deal. The female that works there is extremely rude and has very little patients for questions about products. I was just there in August to get a quote and went back yesterday only to discover my quote was lost and they wanted to run another credit check. Please take your business elsewhere.

This place use to be ok but now it seems like the price depends on who you know and who your talking too used tires price is to high for some of the tires- its almost half the price of a new tire but nowhere close to being in good enough shape for the price - and was told two different prices on a tire and then the service was slow -the guy had the balls to get smart asking if I didnt want it theyd take it off - only if I had the time since they had already kept me there way longer than I expected to be there when i was just getting a tire and the place wasnt packed on this day but oh well you live and you learn so if it happens to anyone else u cant say u didnt know and im sure if I had a problem like this here someone else probably has too
