Disappointed that the chili oil noodle didn’t use wide noodles. Chopsticks were greasy. Milk tea was too sweet but you got used to it after a few sips. Prices on the screen didn’t match the actual prices and you were only told so after they took your order.

Reputation inflation is a real danger, so this four-star review might be a five-star review in the hands of someone more generous. So, the good stuff: their beef noodle soup is incredible (shown in the picture). The environment is nice, the staff is friendly, and their taro milk tea with boba is phenomenal. Indeed, the taro milk tea is better than Bubblecup Tea Zone and high quality, according to my friend who used to work in a boba tea shop in Seattle. The only gripe that I have is the boba pearls, which are a little tough. I ended up drinking all the tea and throwing some of pearls away. Other than that, this shop is phenomenal. Another thing to note (as of 07/17/21), their prices are slightly higher than listed. It is something they were apologetic for and hopefully will fix soon, and it is understandable as inflation is hitting everyone hard.

Bought coconut cream cake for my husband’s 60th. Very pretty cake, however, the cake was doughy, and flavorless.The frosting was excellent, but did not make up for the cake.The 9” cake was 54.00 after taxes, honestly I should have gone to Hyvee.I expected a much better product than what I paid for.

I got the 7-inch Strawberry Black Forrest Cake, easily fed 6 people and everyone loved it! I will definitely come back!

Wife got a cheesecake and a tao boba tea and I got a chocolate peanut butter cupcake. They were good and the service was nice.That said the entire store had an overwhelmingly pungent smell. Reminded me of cleaning tripe and we had to exit ASAP. Hope this was a one time thing, because it’d be a great spot otherwise.

Great place to try Asian (Taiwanese) taste. It is owned by a Taiwanese who is very friendly and kind too! Delicious cheese cakes! Taiwanese bakeries are pretty good. I lived in Taiwan and I can confirm it. Here you can find the famous Taiwanese milk tea and bubble tea (several different flavors) too. I’d recommend starting with Taro milk tea though. Taro is a plant that they make several things out of it. One of them is Taro milk tea. You have to visit this place. I highly recommend it.

Horrible. We were craving cheesecake and found this place online. Recent reviews concerned me but we tried anyway. It tasted old. Dry. Flavorless. As in we spit it out. Got 4 different “mini” cheesecakes - plain, strawberry, Oreo and salted caramel. Just horrible. So disappointed and a true waste of $20.00.

This is without a doubt one of the best bakeries I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The sugar cookies are one of my favorites (come on, theyre a classic) and the chocolate mousse ganache is heavenly. Also, an unexpectedly delicious treat are the lemon bars. I could eat a few dozen of them in one sitting. The service is fantastic and the people are very friendly. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that there never seem to be enough cookies or lemon bars!

U Knead Sweets is a wonderful little spot, their desserts are incredible (I love the chocolate mousse ganache) and their soup options are also excellent. Id highly recommend!

Delicious! We love the red bean buns and macarons. And the owners are so nice every time we go. Ive had a different type of cake almost every time weve gone and each one is delicious in its own way. My husband is a big fan of the green tea red bean chiffon cake.

I was looking for macarons for a kids party. They had several flavors to choose from. I was unable to find them anywhere else on town. A bit pricey, but I was happy to have them.

Its a cute little shop off on the side of Downtown Columbia that can be easy to miss, but is 100 percent worth stopping by. Their desserts are absolutely amazing and will definitely satisfy your sugar cravings! I particularly love their cheesecakes and both their traditional and green tea variations of tiramisu (or, as they call it, Tira-Mizzou), and, strangely enough, they have a fantastic beef noodle soup. Their customer service can be a bit inconsistent, especially because the owners occasionally have difficulty understanding the orders (but if you bring along a Mandarin speaker youll be completely fine), but their desserts are delightful. I highly recommend giving U Knead Sweets a shot.

Terrible customer service. No response to several voicemails. When I finally did get through to somebody there, he did not identify himself or the bakery. His attitude was that of a stoner, responding only in grunts. He didn’t seem to understand my question – I wanted to order a birthday cake - and was not helpful in any way. I finally just hung up on him.I’ve not been into the bakery, but this is the second time I’ve had this sort of service by phone. There won’t be a third time.

Im surprised by all of the high reviews. Heres what I experienced today:Im planning a shower so Ive been going to different places to start preparing. I take pictures of things that I like so when I get home I can review prices and put together a game plan. I walk in, and honestly asides from the glass case with some desserts, I would never think this place is a bakery. Not very inviting and seemed a little unclean. There arent a lot of dessert options, but I was there mainly for the macarons (unfortunately not many places in town make them). The first thing i noticed was what the cookies were kept in- a stingy looking, dark plastic storage container that you buy at a crafts store. They had a good amount of flavor options with different prices, so I was taking pictures so I could remember later. The lady behind the counter comes around towards me and just stares at me, so I say hello and I can tell shes not happy. Long story short, shes not happy Im taking pictures so I explain to her why Im taking them (theres no sign that says No Photography and last I checked I stepped into a bakery, not the Pentagon). After her mumbling and complaining she finally tells me its ok. So I take one more and then I start thinking of which ones I want to purchase so I can sample the flavors. Apparently the time I took also annoyed her because she kept complaining multiple times to me. Another customer comes in and the worker starts to complain to her about me in their native language. How did I know? Because shes looking at me, annoyed, and talks and talks then the customer turns to me and confusingly asks me what Im doing. I explained to her, even though its really none of her business. The lady behind the counter then starts complaining in English again and starts to say that a customer should just come in and purchase, not to take pictures that can be used. Used for what exactly, no idea. Its not like theyre selling unusual items. I can Google how to make a pistachio macaron! Regardless, I remained calm and ordered 4 cookies to try. You would think that would shut her up, but she literally kept complaining while shes charging my credit card how I should just order and not just stand there. Shes like the Soup Nazi! God forbid I have to stand there and think about what I want to order. Btw, I only took 3 pictures. Anyways, too bad the cookies werent worth it. The flavors were actually really good, but the red velvet was so stale it literally crumbled when I took a bite and the other flavors I ordered were either somewhat stale or somewhat fresh. You can tell they wont made that day at all. They were prob made several days earlier and not stored very well. If you decide to go, dont expect much....especially when it comes to service. If she wouldve said from the beginning, Please dont take pictures, then I wouldve respectfully stopped. Instead, even though and she was complaining, she literally told me its ok! She was so rude to me, especially when she complained about me to another customer, that I will be taking my business elsewhere. Never again.

I was very excited to try their desserts. When I saw they were open until 8:30 and it was 7:45, I called to check they were there. Talked with a lady, said not only were they there, but they would wait for us. Arrived at 8:20. Closed, locked and dark. Not a happy prospective customer.
