I wasn’t informed when the order was placed that the delivery time could be over an hour from the time i selected. When the cookie had not arrived I called and found out about the delay and had to reschedule for the next day (person i spoke to was not friendly or overly helpful). The person i spoke with asked if i would just pick it up.. no i paid for delivery because i couldn’t pick it up. I set up a delivery time only to get a call hours later that they can’t deliver at that time. So i set up yet another delivery time while clarifying i bought the cookie for a friends birthday. Cookie gets delivered next day to the wrong building, does not have happy birthday written on it or any of the birthday packaging that I PAID for. The receipt was also on display so they know exactly how much money i wasted. This was an absolute nightmare experience and waste of money.

First time, and will be back many times! Great ice cream! And them cookies yall at 2 am on a Sunday!!! I even had a everything bagel cookie! Who knew!?!

Great for a late night treat since its one of the only places around that stay open truly late that isnt a fast food chain. I love the peanut butter chunk cookies! And the brownies are amazing too. Give it a shot!

I have never had a cookie so exciting! The chocolate mint chip is definitely worth the trip across town from my house (25 minutes) There was no wait when I went at 2ish in the afternoon. The service was quick and friendly and my cookies were warm 😋 I will be a returning customer. These cookies are amazing.

My cookie sandwich was good but the customer service was horrible. We werent greeted as we walked through the door when I asked questions I received an response with an attitude. Good variety of cookies and I stay open until 2 a. M. Only thing is the cook is a very expensive unless they have a special going on and dont even think about buying the milk. But if you have a sweet tooth late at night this is the place to go. They also sell ice cream and ice cream cookie sandwiches.

They took my order for the Covid ICU at lexington hospital. They then called 30 min later saying that they had to cancel the order because it was a little bit out of their delivery range. I was only having them delivered to the main entrance but they refused. Insomnia Cookies in Columbia South Carolina obviously does not support front light workers fighting the covid pandemic

Does it change how well this business strive? No, but the Governor of the state lifted the mask mandate since March. I normally wear one but it’s not a requirement!

Amazing cookies, and I used to be a regular here and ordered often, but recently the staff has been extremely unkind. After a mistake that was, I admit, a mistake on my part, the woman I spoke to on the phone was extremely condescending, interrupting me several times, and made me feel like she was belittling me because I had selected the wrong address and wanted to know what other options I had in terms of a possible refund or nothing at all, which also would have been okay.

Went to order chocolate chip cookies & the young guy at the register told me that there would be a 13 minute wait, which I was fine with. 5 minutes later he hands me another persons order & tells me that they cancelled, & that the cookies are still hot & fresh. I understand he wanted to reduce my wait time, but my mind was set on hot cookies, which the ones he gave me were not. Its okay though.

I used to come to this location often, but stopped because I moved. I stopped by last night to order cookies while in town and was very disappointed that I had just missed the last of their Red Velvet cookies and will now have to wait a year before they return. The customer service I received was also terrible; the female employee (wearing a gray face mask) that was running the register visibly had an attitude, especially with female customers. Her tone immediately improved and she began flirting with male customers when they approached, such as myself. This made me tremendously uncomfortable and I’m quite offended at the unprofessionalism of this young lady, and disappointed at Insomnia for allowing this to occur. I’m certain that if she did it last night, it’s most likely something that occurs often. I’ve never had an experience like this at this location before, so I’m not sure if the employee is just new or works at a different time than I usually come in at, but because of how extremely uncomfortable it made me, I will not be returning to this location and will just start making the drive to Clemson or another business entirely.

This was my first time having insomnia cookies. Not bad at all. At one of the specialty cookies and it was very soft and gooey in the middle. Like it wasnt baked all the way through. Since Ive never had them before, I dont know if this is the usual or mine just wasnt baked enough. But the brownie was great so Ill definitely be back again to give them another try.

Placed an order for a birthday party on 8/19 for a delivery at 2:45 (same day). Cookies were not delivered. Called and they stated that the delivery driver called. Yes, he called, but did not leave a phone number and it was 4:06. Told cookies would be delivered next day at noon. Its 12:25, no delivery or phone call. Ive been on hold for 10 minutes to find out what is going on. Do not recommend, if you want it at a certain time.

The cookies were very good however the manager was extremely rude. The register man was polite however the manager ran up front and began to bark at myself and my wife about masks even though several employees were not wearing them or wearing them incorrectly. I will not be returning here based solely on that interaction. Extremely unprofessional.

Very deplorable service. If I could give 0 stars I would. I arrived at 10:45 and was told I could not order and that I had to order a pick up order instead although there was no indication on the website. I attempted calling the number listed for the business as well as using the online ordering system to no avail. I went back in to the store to explain my issue to one of the employees and she went to the back of the restaurant and stayed there for 10+ minutes. At this point I was exhausted from waiting 30+ minutes just to order cookies and left. Unbelievable

This was my second visit due to there caramel cookie. My very first caramel cookie on my first visit was awesome. This time, something was different about it. I didnt enjoy it. It either had too much butter or too much oil. There was a lot of oil left on the box liner. I was disappointed. I couldnt eat the rest of the cookie. I also got the oatmeal chocolate walnut cookie. That cookie was ok. A person that loves chocolate would love the chocolate on the inside of the cookie. Both cookies were over $7. I will try the caramel cookie again in the future, but no time soon. Like I said, my first caramel cookie was awesome. To make my cookie experience worse. i got a ticket for forgetting to feed the meter. The location is good for people who like Five Points. Parking is terrible.

The only thing this company is good for is fresh cookies. I ordered cookies at 8:49 it’s 10:30 and it’s still saying baking I call the establishment and I’m told their otw but on the app it still says baking. I was expecting the cookies at least by 9:30. I had to pay for shipping and a tip for delivery I could of just picked my cookies up. Plus a couple months ago I went there trying to order and they were soooooo rude. Told me I had to call or order online what’s so hard with taking a customer order in the store I waited over a hour for some cookies. The customer service was trash the cookies the only thing good the wait time is terrible the employees act like they don’t know what’s going on. Maybe they need better management it’s trash

The cookies are great-when you receive them. However as I type this, it has been 3 hours since I placed my order. I have been waiting on the phone for 30+ minutes just to get in contact with the store (on hold because apparently they just have a customer service line and not someone actually in the store that can update you on your order). They had no problem charging my card right off the bat.

Love this place usually but my last experience was a horrible one. The one associate and the manager that was at the shop were EXTREMELY rude and I placed a order over the phone before hand and was told when i got there that i didnt place an order and that I couldn’t place one because they were “backed up”, nobody even attempted to take my order. They continued to go back and forth with me instead of accommodating me. I will never spend my money there again.

I LOVED these cookies!!! It was my first time trying this place and I got the traditional chocolate chip, sugar, and M&M. They were SO GOOD!! 10/10 would go again!!.

The cookies were delicious but there are some customer service concerns. The driver couldnt find my office, so three hours after they were supposed to be delivered and I had left work, he called and said hed deliver them the next day to be sure they arrived warm. Then, when I got them today (warm and delicious), the receipt was taped to the box. It was clear they were a birthday gift, so they probably shouldnt have a receipt attached.
