Second visit today and was as consistently good as the last time.Got the cookies and cream cookies with bear batter ice cream. It was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful both times. A great treat, better than similar places I’ve been to before as the cookies here really make the dessert- they are soft and sugary and just perfect.

Swoon! This place is divine! The staff is always super friendly and enthusiastic about their products. The ice cream, the cookies, and the brownies are delicious! The portions are so generous, too, you definitely get your money’s worth. The only small suggestion I would make is to offer a more durable container for the ice cream sandwiches since it’s carry out only right now and it’s difficult to enjoy and not make a mess. But I love this place and look forward to treating myself here!

Very cool (no pun intended) place with an awesome concept. Cookies were fresh out of the oven. Ice cream was unique and complimented the cookies well. We showed up around 5:30 p.m. and found no wait. Shortly after we ordered and got our sandwiches, a line formed; must have been the after dinner crowd, so come earlier in the evenings. Staff was friendly and patient - with so many combinations, my family changed their minds a couple of times. Tips - 1) watch for whatever the freshest cookie they pull out of the oven, 2) they can warm your sandwich without melting the ice cream, and 3) you can just get ice cream if you arent feeling the sandwich.

This is the ultimate sweets spot in Columbia. The bear batter batter ice cream is my fave but all of their ice cream and cookie flavors are great. Pro tip: you can get two different cookie flavors for your ice cream sandwich and ALWAYS get it hot pressed. It gets the cookies warm and gooey but the ice cream stays nice and cold.

My husband had a brownie ice cream sandwich and they warmed it up without melting the ice cream! It was fresh and delicious! I had a single scoop of soy chocolate chip in a waffle cone which was delicious as well! First time eating there and we will return!

If youre not feeling ice cream, you can get just cookies. It really is a great spot, and everyone there was very nice to us!

Ordered 3 ice cream sandwich cookies through Doordash. Arrived an hour late. (Doordash fault not this business) The ice cream was pretty soft, and melting when it arrived. Cant blame that on Doordash. It took the DoorDasher 5 minutes to get to my house. Cookies were too hard, and can not eat as a sandwich. I understand they must be sort of hard to hold the ice cream, but this was rock hard. The ice cream tasted pretty good.Take more pride in your business, and not send out bad product. I paid $18 for 6 cookies, and 3 scoops of ice cream. It was not an ice cream sandwich at all.

What a fantastic place! There are so many choices of cookies, brownies and bowls, combined with a myriad of ice cream flavors, and then a bunch of topping choices. And you can mix and match multiples in one sammich! I got a funfetti cookie sammich with birthday cake ice cream, topped with fruity pebbles. It really hit the spot and Ill probably be back soon for another!

Loved this place. The Gooey Butter cake cookie is the best. This is my second time coming. I got a ice cream sandwich with the Gooey Butter cake cookie, butter brittle icecream and almonds.

My wife and I went to the first Baked Bear six years ago in San Diego, and I was hooked then. I was pleasantly surprised, then, to discover the Columbia location when we went in June. I went twice during our three-day stay.They make their own ice cream sandwiches with homemade cookies and homemade ice cream. What could be better? Im just sad that the nearest location to my home is 3.5 hours away.

Restroom was out of order . Very disappointed !!!!! Never eating here again .Cookie was to hard, almost broke my tooth .

Went here for cookies only, although the ice cream sandwiches looked amazing 😍I ended up getting 6 cookies. Of the 6, my favorite was the Cookies and Cream and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut. The rest were good, but not amazing to me. I would definitely return, but next time Ill get an ice cream sandwich for sure and a few of those Cookies and Cream on the side.

Great place for friends and family

Loved the ice cream and cookies! It was delicious and my kids loved it. It was big enough I just got one cookie sandwich for all three of my kids. The only down side is its very small and not a lot of seating. There are three tables and 1 or 2 people at a table. That left me and my kids eating outside on the sidewalk. It wasnt ideal since they are so young. I would go back but I would claim a table.or wait for one to open up before ordering.

You HAVE to try it if you havent!! You get to pick flavor of cookie with the flavor of ice cream you want AND add toppings like candy or whip cream. Then you can have the cookie warmed without melting the ice cream. Its an amazing idea that is flipping yummy!!!

Delicious place but you end up paying almost $8 for one ice cream sandwich... despite of that it is A LOT of food and you can easily share one with someone else. Good place but I don’t know if I’d say it’s worth the price.

Lots of different cookies and toppings to choose from. They also had many flavors of ice cream. The ice cream sandwich made with their cookies are really good. The store is kinda small so takeout I would prefer unless they are not crowded. I would recommend this place especially on a hot summer day.

Its common sense...cookies and ice cream just go together. Theyve got quite a few different types of cookies and even a brownie to choose from. Once youve chosen your ice cream flavor they sandwich it between two cookies of your choice. You can have them heat this up...no the ice cream doesnt melt, but the cookies come out nice and soft. You can also add toppings...sprinkles, m&ms, etc.Theyll also put ice cream in a cup with your choice of toppings.

Baked Bear was really yummy. The first time I went I had a whole sandwich by myself. The second time I went, I was able to split with a friend because it is so much. My friends and I had to eat outside standing by oir car because there is limited seating. I would suggest outdoor seating. Also our cookies were hard even though though they hot pressed it. Not sure if the cookies were a hard bunch or not pressed long enough. Must try at least once.

For me, this is a lets slurge kinda spot. Thats because there are usually 3-5 of us depending on the weekend. Is it good ice cream, YES! Are the cookies delish, YES! But it can be a little pricey. Staff is always nice and they keep it clean. They have great suggestions if you cant decide what you want. I would def say its worth trying.

Loved the cookie and cream selection. I had the butter cookie with the BlackBerry ice cream. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave samples! The only feedback would be for smaller versions for kids but I know that could cause more behind the scenes cost.

I have been to Baked Bear now, more times then I would like to admit. However, since the novelty has seemingly worn off I feel this review would better depict my opinion on my experience. I sometimes order the cup of ice cream (not the tin bowl) which they only put one cookie along side of the tiny little cup they give you. My complaint why am I paying $6.00 dollars for one cookie & about 3 scoopes of ice cream that barley even reaches the rim of the little cup it comes in. If your going to give me less why am I paying more? Its not a reasonable financial concept for the consumer.

Holy frijoles! I went to this place while on a rare lunch date with my wife. We expected a modest ice cream sandwich, similar but nicer than what you get in the frozen food section of the grocery store. When we got our order, we were surprised by the gargantuan sandwiches with which we presented. Even more so, we were blown away by the quality of the cookies and ice cream. Separately, the cookies and ice cream are amazing enough to make a special visit to The Baked Bear.She had a peanut butter cookie and a white macadamia nut cookie with cake batter ice cream. I had a peanut butter cookie and a snicker doodle cookie with salted caramel fudge ice cream. The sandwiches were as thick as the diameter of the cookies. I was able to unhinge my jaw like a snake to take a bite, but she had to use a spoon. We are both very glad that we live pretty far away from this place so that we wont be tempted to make it a frequent destination, but we will definitely be coming back. SUPERB!

A ludacris display of ice cream sandwich originality. An abundant amount of choices make this a place youll want to come back to again. Definitely a spot to try (and retry) when youre in the area. Parking around here can be a bit tiring, but it gives you the chance to walk through the nice city streets.

Nice, clean establishment but very small for dining in, mostly friendly staff (one girl had a nasty attitude), lots of options and combinations of cookies, brownies, ice cream, and donuts. Everything my group had was great. Very Instagram worthy! No complaints from us on that end just wish the was more room to accommodate everyone. Would definitely visit again!

Worth the hype. Was afraid the ice cream would be hard and difficult to bite into but it was super soft. If you’re wondering if you should do “hot press” – the answer is yes.The only critique I had is the consistency of the sandwiches. The ratio ice cream to cookie is really dependent on your server. I didn’t even know this could be a bad thing (!!) but mine actually felt like it had TOO much ice cream. It didn’t even fit in the hot press, while other girls’ did. :)High quality problem to be sure, but if I’m going to indulge in that much sugar I at least want to taste the cookies! ;)

Pretty decent dessert place. The area inside is rather small, so it will be difficult to eat there if you have a large party. We chose to forgo the sandwich and settled for the bowls to try and make it easier for the kids... Unfortunately the bowls, although no more quantity, come with a $2 dollar upcharge to cost nearly $8. Way too expensive for a simple dessert... The brownies were good, cookies were hard and nothing special.

This place was amazing!! Was new to me so I was overwhelmed by the options but the employees did a phenomenal job making it easy by educating me on how it works and what cookies are good with what ice cream. They were extremely knowledgeable of the menu and recipes!!

I got pretty hyped for this place and was kind of disappointed. The service was amazing and the place was very clean. However, the food wasnt spectacular and it was pricey. I got a bear bowl, and the cookie was mediocre. The ice cream was good, but once again pricey. My mother got the bramble berry crunch and I do wish I got that instead of my bear bowl w cookies and cream.
