The experience was great. Mr. Larry Cagle is very knowledgeable, therefore it made for a wonderful experience. An explanation of the cars amenities and a test drive sealed the deal a lot sooner than I anticipated. (by about month). I got there very early for my appointment, around 0800. My appointment was at 0845. My car was taken back at 0830 and I didnt hear anything until about 2 hours later when I asked what was going on. I was informed that I have a 6000 repair job😟. I will definitely visit again, as for the repair...........well keep me in your prayers🥺

He was 100% on everything he said and a delight to deal with. The place is so nice with a good all around feeling. The man in finance was so helpful with the warranty information and told me exactly what I needed to know. I drove 8 hours there and back and would do it all over again!

I can’t say enough about the wonderful service I received from Elliot and his team from start to finish! This was an unexpected purchase, so I was a bit overwhelmed. Overall a very positive experience. Everyone was pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Our salesperson Jill was outstanding. She would literally run to us from another party she was also assisting, in order to keep us from waiting too long. We got the usual dealer ridiculous low-ball on our trade, but thats to be expected. Negotiations were pretty drama-free. Overall nice folks, and the dealership felt like it had high standards that they strived to live up to.

I have been to this location several times within the last few months trying to find something I liked, the first time they were closed, the 2nd time the salesman never even acknowledged me but the 3rd time was a charm I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Barbara. Mrs. Barbara is exceptional she made me feel comfortable with my decision and answered all questions I had. This was by far the best experience Ive ever had, everyone that I encountered was really pleasant and made you want to purchase a vehicle whether it was your intentions or not. Excellent experience here with Jill Lara. I made the mistake of buying a car on CarMax because I thought I was too busy to go to the dealership for half a day. Instead of 2 days to deliver it took them 6 weeks with no communication, and everyone passing the buck when I called for an update. When the car finally did show up I was too frustrated to really test drive it, and 2 weeks later I knew it wasn’t the car for me. I randomly stumbled on the perfect car online here and submitted an inquiry late that night. By 8:30 the next morning Jill had reached out with all the info I needed to look further into it. She gave me a quick valuation on my trade in based on my story and some pics and I didnt have to take the bath I thought I would to trade in a car 2 months after I bought it, I actually came out about even. She personally drove my new car up to Charlotte, NC on a Friday evening during the gas shortage and personally set the car up to my wife, including programming her phone to the car and setting all the features and walking us through them. She managed all of that with a smile while our kids were acting wild in the back seat. She was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable, nobody told me anything about the car I bought from CarMax and I didn’t know it had any features besides turn signals, a radio, and windows. I already knew this, but it was a great reminder that you cannot replace people with technology. You can buy paper towels online, but something as serious as a car needs more attention. There is no substitute for a qualified, friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working sales person, and Jill Lara gets 5 stars in all those categories. We absolutely love our new car, and when it’s time to buy a new one I plan to call Jill again even though Columbia is 2 hours away in another state.

Before coming down he took multiple videos of the cars for us and answered all of my many questions.I didn’t feel like I was being pressured into buying something. I told them my check engine light came on in my 2017. They charged me $150 to check it out and it turned out to be a software update. They told me the software update was free, but they still had to charge me the $150. Am I wrong or is this something they are supposed to do regardless.I told my service person rep that I was done and Im trying something different. Ive driven this brand since 2010 and I promise I will not touch another one.Instead of trying to squeeze every penny from a customer, you should try to assist. I was going to spend more money if you didnt try to rob me out of $150.The service department is not what it used to be. RIP Joe Tischer a real service manager.

I live in Florida and this was my first time purchasing a vehicle sight unseen over the Internet. Everyone was very responsive and answered every single question I could ask. I was already preapproved through my own bank for a loan, however they were able to get me a better rate and payment. Additionally, I had a trade-in and they allowed me to trade in The vehicle site unseen with only a survey and pictures. The sales representative, Elliot, has been wonderful throughout the entire process even following up afterwards to make sure that my experience was a wonderful one. He even went as far as to make sure my car was delivered prior to Christmas. That means they had to find someone to drive all the way from South Carolina to Florida to drop off my car. Even the delivery man was wonderful and charming and eager to please. This was definitely a wow experience. I would recommend this car dealership to anyone.

The Volvo service manager, Richard, was rude, dismissive, and very condescending on 02/23/21. He even made an extremely rude comment of Maybe I dont want to help you and then walked off. I have NEVER received such rude service here, but he left me NEVER wanting to do business with them again! He definitely needs additional training about how to interact with those who contribute to the reason he is even employed. No customers=no employment!!!

I would drive to another state. Service is worse. Techs are unprofessional and don’t respect the LGBT community!Adding to my statement, I don’t make appointments, I gave 1.5 hours notification to the Advisor & he wasn’t there that day. I only have to give 30 minute notification. I left on my on free will due to the unprofessionalism at this dealership by the Tech talking negatively about their advisor to the tech bad mouthing a member of the LGBT community. I refused to do anymore inspections at this facility due to this unprofessionalism. I have sent a compliant to the owner and requested a meeting to see how he feels about this matter! At the end of the day your affecting your customers that bought a car & warranty from you. Your not affecting me in anyway. The Service manager stated that we have a 89% decline rate and he doesn’t have time to deal with warranties. Sir you chose to accept the customers car it’s part of the job. This Dealership is all about $$$$ not about Service. He is correct I wasn’t a customer and never will be! I wouldn’t buy a car from this place even if it is was for a dollar!!!! You can write all the lies you want Sir. I know exactly what happened and not one of you unprofessional people said anything to me about leaving! I left because of your disgusting manners!!!!

Dishonest. If you are not aware of SC law, this dealership will try and quote the Closing Fee ON TOP of the advertised Sales Price. They will do this contrary to what their Disclaimer reads, that the Closing Fee is INCLUDED in the Sales Price. They will offer the double talk that they are suppose to include the Line Item - Closing Fee. This is correct, but not as an additional fee ON TOP of the advertised Sales Price. Every quote I received from them included the Closing Fee ON TOP of the Sales Price.No surprise this dealership has 16 complaints filed against them with SC Dept of Consumer Affairs - consumer.sc.gov. I will be filing a complaint and seeking an attorney since I am not licensed in SC.I have more details I can offer from their emails. If interested you can email me at [email protected], they tried to insist my sales tax rate in Alabama is 10%. They cited the Alabama DMV. I had to send them the phone number of the Probate Office to get that straightened out, which took 2 days.Check your paperwork if you have ever purchased from this dealership or if in the process of purchasing. BUYER BEWARE.

Im not one to share my experiences. However, I feel happy to take my time to tell you about Roy Chaney at Dick Dyer Mercedes Benz Volvo on Two Notch in Columbia. I called last week and told him that I was basically looking for the deal of the century. I had no way of knowing if Roy would be able to find what I needed at the price I could afford. If you know me then you know what a cheapskate I am. Roy did his due diligence by going to work and searching high and low for a deal that suited me. Roy sent me 3 possibilities that had what I am calling my perfect car in it. I have never owned a Lexus before, that is until today. Im 51 and never understood why somefolk feel the way they do about their cars. I assure you that Roy and all of the great folk down at Dick Dyer Mercedes Benz Volvo will treat you like you are the most important person of the day! This is the absolute FIRST time that I have encountered a car salesman that was honest. Those two words are rarely used together but I got a chance to experience a sales person that kept his word. I did paper work on Monday for my certified 2016 C Class C 300 Mercedes-Benz, still under factory warranty. That evening before I left, I changed my mind about some of the extras that I was offered. Jerry the finance manager told me that he would not turn the paperwork in until the next day and I could take the time to talk it over with my daughter, whom he also spoke with over the phone during the process, and think about what I/we wanted to do. Although the offered benefits and extensions were awesome to have, ultimately my payment was a little higher than I anticipated and I decided to take off a few things so that it would decrease. I went back the next morning thinking this guy is going to submit those papers and I will be stuck with a high payment. I just knew that he didnt care about my personal finances. Low and behold, I got there and he had my papers sitting on his desk waiting for me to make my decision. We even went back and forth a couple of times redoing and signing the paperwork until I got things right to fit my budget. He said that he wanted me and my daughter to be satisfied with my decision. This is the the first time I have really felt like I was not being hustled in some way at a car dealership. They CARE and they deserve your business. So if you want a Benz dont think twice, just go to Dick Dyer Mercedes-Benz on Two Notch Rd. By the time you leave you will never want to drive any other car except A BENZ. This place has a warm atmosphere, awesome cars, and great customer service throughout the facility. I LOVE MY BENZ. ITS A BEAUTY

We needed to trade in our old Mercedes for a newer model and the folks at Dyer gave us a fair trade in price on the newer one. Barbara was especially helpful and we felt that the entire team at Dyer helped to expedite t the process. When the time comes, well go back there again.

We visited the dealership prior looking for the truck great service, Brad was extremely nice and helpful. We purchased my dream truck from California and had it shipped. I made an appointment with the lady at the cashier counter, no problem. She made she Sure everything I needed to have checked was on the paperwork and oil change. Ryan was the service tech, he left us a voicemail stating he was trying to pinpoint the problem. My concerns were not complicated the door making a clicking noise, cover for the battery under the seat and sunroof had a faint noise. I explained to him that he should have a list of our concerns. He said I usually get a repair sheet, but mine did not have everything on it. So, I indicated all of our concerns again and the oil change. Moments later, he called me back to tell me the price on certain repairs, diagnostic fee and never mentioned oil change or the battery cover under the seat. I asked again, he said I did not have that on my sheet, but I can get it scheduled and have the technician look at the cover under the seat (I gave it to you earlier via phone). By now I am frustrated because you had my for two days and nothing has been accomplished. I said I am coming to get my car and he said ok!!! Then he calls back saying the cover is bent and I can contact parts... (no, you have wasted my time, I will be there in a few minutes. I arrive at the dealership and they have my car under the breeze way, Ready. Great!!! Lady fussing about her car and husband was not looking happy. This is a scary and dangerous situation then; she tells me if they did repairs keep your receipt because they fix something and break something else. Thank you Ma’am!!! I Go to pay the tech he wants to explain what happened, I dismissed it because not one time did you apologize or try to make it right. I paid and left. Get to the store and battery cover is on my backseat and my mats are thrown across the floor. No one took the time to put my things back. Call back Spoke with manager AJ who is clueless, lack customer service skills. He acted as if he could care less, wanted me to bring the car back to put the cover and mats back. Made no sense, I wanted him to understand how that made me feel as a customer. I don’t think it registered with him. My uncle used to work here and he said that’s why he left - lack of care and integrity. I told the manager how this made me feel as a customer. I am sure they don’t care. Avoid this place and save yourself some time and money. I see why people said go to Charlotte or out of town for Mercedes-Benz service.

Unfortunately due to the damage and age if the vehicle, my insurance determined that my vehicle was a total loss.Boyce Ramsey my service advisor for many years, kept me updated on how things were progressing. His concern and advice was very helpful.Then Brad Magan in sales helped me select a new car. He also was very knowledgeable about how to navigate a claim with my insurance company.Brad went above and beyond selling me a car. Poor customer service!!! Confirmed appointment via telephone to customer service the morning of scheduled service. Seven minutes upon arrival, call again to inform department I was running a few minutes late but was in route. Received a call 2 minutes from location to inform me that my appointment was the next day after driving from Orangeburg to Columbia. Poor customer service!!!

She even offered to call a tow truck company to take the stress off of my shoulders, Ryan Smith was absolutely wonderful with his service too. Who wouldnt love a new car! The 2020 GLC is great, exactly what one would expect. But, the real standout was Dick Dyer and Associates. The minute we arrived, we were warmly greeted and shown everything we wanted to see. (Aside: have you ever been to a car dealer where they look at you and assess what/why you are there? Yes, I hate that too.) That certainly was not the perspective of these professional associates. All the way, from arrival to driving my new car off the lot was just amazing! When shopping Mercedes (or any other car), go to Dick Dyer first!
