Coaltrain is AWESOME!!! Great selection of wine, beer and liquor! If they dont have it, you probably dont need it! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, too. Great variety of craft ciders and they carry the High Noon Lime seltzer, which is my favorite! Its a in a great location, with easy off/on access to I-25, or from downtown, just a quick jaunt down Uintah. We always joke that, If Uintah any other liquor store, youre missing out! ;)

Favorite place in the springs, their beer selection is great and they mostly keep it all in the cooler which is even better. Staff is always helpful and full of suggestions!

Great wine selection, but the few times Ive been there Ive never felt any warm and fuzzy feelings coming from the staff... so for that reason only, I cant give them five stars and I probably wouldnt travel there specifically to get anything.

Very clean and modern store with wide variety of brands both local, national, and international. Found my usual favorites and some new ones to try. Shout out to Corey for listening to what style of beer I like and then making very intuitive recommendations both inside of and just outside of my comfort zone in order to explore some new, crafty flavors. I love the fact that they have a huge selection and a small store. Theres somebody there that knows about different alcohol and beer to help you pick the best one for you. I dont know if they ever offer tasting, hopefully we start see a return of this post vaccine

Coaltrain has products I didnt even know I wanted to try. Delivery (through Drizly) is amazing. In store, the staff is so friendly and helpful and the selection is amazing. Coaltrain and Cheers are the absolute best liquor stores in town. Caveat: I work part time at Cheers but I love shopping at Coaltrain as well. Support your local businesses!

Wow. Huge selection of beers for such a small store (relatively). Was not expecting to be overwhelmed like that when I walked in after my experiences with a lot of local breweries pushing 32 and 64 oz crowlers and growlers of okay beers.Rare and high end beers galore. Local and far away.... And even the far away stuff (Russian river) was as frensh as you could reasonably expect it.Reasonable prices and well organized. Highly recommend, from someone how is used to well curated big-city selection.

We went in looking for a gluten free wine. One of the people working there came out of the back room when we asked for a gluten free wine smartly and condescending says “all wine is gluten free” then proceeds to say stop buying cheap mass produced wine. Unfortunately some wines do have trace amounts of gluten in them used in the barreling process but this person was clearly an expert and chose to use snarky comments instead of saying “no we do not carry certified gluten free wine.” People with real allergies are not welcome here. We put down all the bottles we had also planned to purchase and went somewhere else that knew how to treat their customers. What a poor interaction and unacceptable customer service. Our business will shift to another establishment.

Store had a good variety of wine and spirits but the prices are a bit more for those wanting to pay without a problem. The restroom was clean and smelled great.

I am going on 3 years sober. This is THE ONLY place in town I can find any type of non-alcoholic beer that is actually similar to the beers I used to drink because I actually enjoyed the taste, not just because I wanted to catch a buzz. A lot of places just have the Heineken 0% and ODouls. I am impressed. It is tough staying sober when I am always seeing those types of beer I used to enjoy in the supermarket or anywhere I go. Now I know where to go when I start to have those cravings. Thank you guys so much for giving us that option.

This place always has the rare stuff I look for, mainly hard-to-find or limited edition stouts and barleywines. When Old Ruffian by Divide stopped its run, they were the last to have it. Ten Fidy by Oscar Blues was there too most recently, which for some reason is disappearing everywhere.

Coaltrain has remained my favorite place to shop for and purchase beer, wine, and spirits since I first visited over 15 years ago. While we moved away from the area for a few years, Coaltrain only got better, reconfiguring and remodeling to expand their beer and spirit selection. The staff is always eager to provide assistance, and they really know the products.

They have a great wine selection and a decent liquor selection. Also, theyre dog friendly as well, which also makes us happy. Not much to complain about, the only reason I docked a star is because they cant touch the whiskey selection of Patriot on the other side of town, but they definitely have the wine selection nailed.

If they dont have what youre looking for, then you probably dont want it! Allow some extra time if youve never been here. The craft beer selection is a rite of passage at this store...so much to choose from! This is a regular stop when we are in the area!

Excellent selection of wine, beer, spirits, and cigars. Paired with the most friendly, helpful employees youll ever meet. Its a little tricky getting in and out of the parking lot, but it is worth it. Just be patient. Or drive a really big truck and force your way in. That seems to be the Colorado way. But for the rest of us, be careful in the parking lot.

The local beer selection is spectacular. The foreign beer selection is everything you need. The wine selection cant be topped. And the variety of liquors is the best. They stock local as much as they can and if you need a specialty liqueur they probably have it.
