Wonderful!! My sister received GREAT medical news today and I wanted to deliver something bubbly to celebrate even though I am far away. I searched for stores that might deliver and called Payless. The owner answered my call and was so helpful!! He helped me to select some fun bubbly bottles, made sure they were chilled, took the time to hand write a note to enclose and made the delivery himself on his way home from work. Great selection and friendly staff

I used to go here when I lived across the street in Gatehouse village. They didnt have what I was looking for this time and the cashier was kinda sorta friendly, or having a bad day. You can usually find what youre looking for. For security and safety reasons, I would recommend having only one entrance and exit open, not both. The cashier cant see both doors at the same time.

BEWARE: The owner is obnoxiously rude! He snatched my payment out of my hand because he felt I was taking too long. He even made a snide remark about it to boot. I urge you to offer your patronage somewhere you will be respected as a paying customer. 0/10 Would NEVER Recommend! Twins Wine & Liquor up the street is always an awesome experience. :)

Best liquor store in the area. Excellent selection with some gems for people like me who look for something just a bit different. The staff know what they are talking about and are pleasant to deal with. Definitely will be back again

I placed an order as gift for a friend who moved into a new place, because I live a couple of states west. The entire process from start to finish was super easy and pleasant. being able to leave a tip for the delivery person was nice (especially these days). Ill be again supporting my friends drinking habit by sending random liquors to her via Payless Wine & Spirits in the near future.

I always find something new to try and the staff is always helpful in selecting options that you may not be familiar with. This is my go-to store for competitive prices, great selection and excellent staff and owner.

Completely disrespectful person in storeCalling out an owner for being rude apparently gets retorts. Yes, asking for an id before someone gets to a counter is rude . And yes selecting to ask for ids part of the time further the point. I have left both positive and negative reviews, but apparently you felt the need to stalk my review history. I live across the country but needed to send some liquor to friends in Colorado. I called Payless and spoke to Scott who handled my order with total professionalism. The prices were reasonable, including the delivery fee and I was able to leave an extra tip for the delivery person. The store coordinated delivery time and location perfectly for my friends, who were thrilled with the delivery. I would absolutely call them again.

I was so impressed by the selection and help finding exactly what I was looking for. Not every wine and liquor store carries Screwball and it’s our favorite after a day of travel! Thanks for helping these out of towners! We will be back next time through!

The staff used to be nice and they do have a good selection of liquor. Recently I have had a few poor interactions with the short employee that has glasses. He was pompous and rude. I will be taking my business to the many other good liquor stores in the area.

Worst customer service ever. The employees/ owner drive paying customers away with there better than you attitude they will not be around very long with that attitude. There are 2 liquor stores within a half mile. I highly suggest those.

The owner was very rude when I asked where something was. When I questioned the price he basically ignored my question, when I asked again he rudely said he was getting me a copy of the receipt. Pretty much threw it at me. Will never visit again. There are plenty of stores around don’t need this one.

Love this place! All of the staff is so friendly, personal relationship with owner who actually takes time to KNOW his customers. Great prices that beat most other stores in town! Its not even on my way anymore, but I still, and very much intentionally, choose this store! Could not give more stars, but if they had 10.....I would certainly give it!

They have the best selection of alcohol. I have been able to try so many “different” things that I would have never thought about.The management/ owner is so awesome! They also have a “points” system to earn free things!!It’s the best liquor store in the Briargate area. You definitely need to visit if you haven’t already!

BEST liquor store in town!! We have started driving the distance to go to the liquor store. Not only do they have the best selection come up with the owner Scott is absolutely amazing! They also have a great rewards program that you can join where you can earn free things like bottles of vodka or shot glasses! I LOVE this place!!!

I love the feel of a local establishment where they recognize the faces of the patrons. Scott is a fun owner and never fails to say hello, and the employees are friendly, too. The store is small, but the selection is great, unless you’re looking for larger bottles of liquor (1.75 liter types). I’m a fan.

Best liquor store in Colorado! Cheapest beer in town I drive way out of my way to save a lot of money on microbrews. Liquor prices are crazy low. I’m not a wine drinker but the selection is huge and I always see buying multiple bottles and commenting to the owner on how much cheaper he is. Your shopping at the right store when there prices beat Costco’s.

Great place, I have ordered my legs through their shop for many years and they have always provided great service.

I witnessed the shorter man with the glasses who I believe runs the place treat his customers terribly, there are many other liquor stores that can offer you a wholesome experience, I would suggest picking one because this place does not care about you.

Superb beer selection, with a surprisingly good variety of wine, including some real gems. The prices are reasonable, too. Scott, the proprietor, is awesome and will try to obtain specific stuff if you ask. A real neighborhood store with a friendly feel.

I can always find what I want there and staff will get it for you if they dont.

The owner came to my business and was horrible. Demanded everything, complained about not getting his way. When I tried to explain anything. It didnt matter. It was his way or no way. Learn to provide customer service as a customer. Since you try to own a business. Dont fund this behavior, shop elsewhere.

When Randy worked there the place was great. The little Napoleon that owns the place is a walking attitude problem . If someone wants to use credit instead of debit just be happy they are spending money with you.

Scott and the entire staff rocks! They give great recommendations even if you are not sure what to get. They will not steer you wrong!

A $5 minimum charge is super lame. I understand that they have financing charges from their credit card companies. That sounds like them problem but they have made it a me problem. I guess I wont go back for my big purchases.

Small and crowded. There back stock is on the sales floor and is not marked as back stock. Their prices are higher than what I can find other places.
