They were able to take my car a day earlier than my appointment and they had a repair estimate the same day. They were not pushy at all when discussing repairs and understood that auto repairs can cost a lot. They completed my service the next day, the car was running great and they even vacuumed and cleaned my car! They will definitely be my go to for auto repair.

I worked with David and we worked with the auto warranty company CarShield (WORST WARRANTY COMPANY EVER!) Honest and Accurate Auto Service and their team worked with me on that warrantys inability to approve an obvious claim for 3 weeks. David was able to handle their rude behavior, their slow approval process, and getting all the necessary paperwork submitted on time. They were also able to send me the same information that I appreciated they did for me. My car was in the shop for 2 months because of carshield having to send their own transmission (which hopefully will be long lasting! But wont know for sure) I appreciated their work ethics and honesty!

We have used this facility since it opened. We have always been treated tremendously. This experience was no different. Jesse and his folks worked hours and hours on an ever-changing brake issue. They would not let us go until they were completely satisfied that our truck was safe and sound. I made an appointment on a Sunday for the following Tuesday. I live about an hour walk away so I declined the shuttle expecting to walk home and then turn around when I got there and walk back. I dropped it off early in the morning and had an appointment so I didnt anticipate it to take too long.However, when I dropped it off the person making my appointment literally chuckled and said we will try to get it in at SOME point today. This left me a little concerned. I decided that I was prepared to wait around 4 hours anyway so I would just walk home, hangout and walk back when I got the call.Four hours is an extremely long time to make someone wait for an oil change, something I can do (with the right setup) in around 20-30 minutes by myself. But they didnt make me wait 4 hours. By the time I got a call about my vehicle 8.5 hours had elapsed. They clearly were busy, but it seems insane to not just crank out oil changed between larger service issues. Especially considering WalMart can do the change in 15-25 minutes on a walk in for half the price.Despite the extreme wait, the changes was perfect and the inspection report they provided was very detailed and accurate to what I would have expected. The price is reasonable for the kind of high quality work they do here. I would have easily given 5 stars if not made to wait an entire day for an oil change.

Came in for diagnostic help with a dead engine. David was very kind and knowledgeable, and really helped us out a lot. This was my first time here, and Honest Accurate came highly recommended by everyone i talked to. Id say the same!

They stayed true to their name even when things got tough. They had fixed an oil leak and took care of a bunch of other misc maintenance items. Last thing to do was to wash the caked oil away and take it for a test drive! After washing it...it decided to not start for them. As an engineer, I know how situations like that feel. A client was given a time estimate, a dollar amount, and now life surprises you with test of your tenacity and stress management. This crew passed lifes test.They provided a loner car for a few days while they tracked the issue down. Turned out it was an unsealed ECU that had let some water leak in. The seal was presumably broken from a previous owner opening it up and forgetting to reseal it. They ordered a replacement ECU, programmed it, and installed it for no extra charge. I offered to pay for the replacement ECU since washing the oil off the engine was probably just the final nail in the coffin and not the real root cause, but they insisted on not charging for it.Great work!

We have been customers of them since 1999. Love that they really are Honest and Accurate. We have had them work on 6 of our vehicles since then. Never an issue with their work or diagnosis. We have a 2004 CRV with 250,000 plus miles and they are the only ones that touch it since it was new. Cannot say enough good about them!

These people are Wonderful!My daughter goes to school at UCCS and had her car break down. I called Honest Accurate and they helped arrange a tow and then got her car all fixed up. I got texts from them with status updates and they called me about any changes they found as they worked on it. Was able to pay over the phone and they even arranged to come pick up my daughter so she could pick up her car when it was done.Everyone here is great. TrustworthyOK, so my daughters car broke down again couple weeks later, same issue. I called Honest Accurate and they went above and beyond! Helped me arrange a tow, which was reimbursed, got to work on the vehicle right away and covered all the costs under warranty to fix it up again. Not a single dime did I have to pay. These people are so Wonderful. They are so trustworthy they feel like Family

I’ve used honest Accurate twice now on two separate cars. Both experiences were better than I expected considering how some shops can be.On this most recent visit I took an older vehicle and not wanting to spend a bunch of money but expecting an expensive bill considering it was electrical. They kept the car for two days looking for the problem, and also did a full complimentary vehicle inspection with a detailed report while it was there. They finally replaced the ignition switch on the second day. I walked out with $175 bill. They could’ve totally taken advantage of me not knowing what was wrong with my vehicle and charge me for a bunch of extra stuff like most shops do. They didn’t. I hope they never go out of business! I’ll be using them for all of my vehicle maintenance needs. Highly recommended!

We worked with Jesse who kept us up to date on repairs and worked hard to make sure the repairs were as affordable as possible. I love the texts they send with pictures of your car as the work on it, very upfront and visual in all they do, you know they aren’t trying to hide anything or rip you off. I never take my car anywhere else. Had some work done previously to my car and come to find they didn’t actually fix my problem! Honest auto’s mechanics were able to identify what exactly was the problem in a fraction of the time and for a fraction of the price! It’s almost like I got a brand mew car. The team is exceptional with communication but David is usually my point of contact! Wouldn’t trust anyone else ever! Honest auto all the way !!

Hopefully this post can put some suspicions to rest. I just moved to Colorado Springs from Oklahoma and was new to town. Most mechanics in the area like Midas and Jiffy had really bad reviews and I didn’t want to risk it. So I took my chances with a family owned shop because there is a reputation to uphold; which they’ve did well by the way. They give good/competitive quotes and great pictures of diagnostics to your car. The staff is patient and will explain what is wrong with your vehicle. So, I will definitely recommend this mechanic to anyone who wants great all around service.

The seals in my engine were leakingthey fixed them and gave me a two year warranty on the work. The engine was leaking again and they honored the warranty and fixed an additional leak and the engine is good for another 200,000 miles. Now, I have an electrical problem and brought it in and there’s a short somewhere in the electrical system of my car and because they’re such a professional, honest, and trustworthy company I know I am in good hands with the electrical issue.

Theyre anything but honest here. I called about a loaner vehicle, which I was assured we could get. That was a lie. I told them the issue I was having, and they did not even address the issue I was having. AND they overcharged me $60 more then what they quoted me when I told them not to do the thousands of dollars worth of overpriced work they wanted to do. I would avoid these crooks and go somewhere else

Professional, friendly service. While it was not inexpensive or quick, I feel they did not try to cut corners or tack on anything extra like some auto shops will. They also offered me a loaner vehicle while mine was being repaired, which was nice. I did not need it this time though. The shuttle driver from the shop to my house (or business) and vice versa was awesome as well! Masks were worn at all times and they kept me updated the whole time with pictures of the progress and phone calls. Plus they offer a free check up after 500 miles (at least for my vehicle). I will definitely be going here if I need their services again!

Work was completed as scheduled.There was a bit of an issue with the final cost coming in higher than the original estimate but Randy worked with us in this matter to ensure our satisfaction.They replaced shocks and struts and performed a 4 wheel alignment.The vehicle now rides noticeably better.

These guys are AWESOME! And, when I say awesome, I really mean it! I called the day my car broke down and they were able to get me in for servicing the next morning. When I showed up, I was helped right away and was able to explain exactly what had happened/what problems were happening and they wrote everything down (that doesn’t happen normally)! The people at the desk were very kind, upbeat, and chatty - made the place feel way more homey and authentic than a service repair at a big dealership.They made sure to keep me updated throughout the day and had a quote for me by 2pm (I dropped my car off at 9am). Randy explained exactly what was going on, what they needed to do, how much it was going to cost, and how much time it would take. The repair was completed so efficiently and I was able to pick my car up the same day! Randy also gave me a heads up on other servicing that I would need in the near future and even took pictures to show an oil leak to present to my dealer so I could replace the part under warranty.When all was said and done, I went back to my car to see that the outside had been washed and on my passenger seat was a gift bag with some knick knacks and candy! Never have I ever been more pleased with a service repair. I will definitely be using Honest Accurate Auto Service for all my future repair needs in the Springs and I highly recommend you do, too. Wanted to charge almost $200 for just coolant top off even tho all the other places showed it was full and did it for free. Wanted me to get all these other things replaced that have shown no issues or damage when going elsewhere to compare and have them examine it... And those places found no issues. They charge dealer prices or worse and for unnecessary fixes. Astronomical labor charges. And other folks looked at the whole system and found it to be just fine so nothing was even required for the coolant system....Already overcharged at the other location too.

This was only my second oil change at honest, accurate auto, and both times the waiting area is very comfortable. Always stocked with drinks and now they have individually packaged snacks. what I especially like about the service is they dont try and push on a bunch of unnecessary add-ons. They did, however, let me know when my next service was, what I would need to have addressed, and how much it would cost. Very thorough. Very fair.

Ive been coming here for the last 2 years for Subaru service. This week, my rear wheel bearings and water pump failed. All in the space of 30 minutes😯. I had my car towed to Honest and Accurate. By phone the next AM, Eric closely listened to the symptoms I described by phone. A couple of hours later, I received a text with photos and a very detailed written examination of the cars condition. Plus a phone call. The car required new rear wheel bearings, a new water pump, timing belt kit and related services. I also opted for an oil change, differential services and power steering flush. This was a lot of work. I did not have an appointment. All work was done within 48 hours. And a 3 year/36000 mile warranty is included for free. Cars are expensive to maintain...even non-fancy cars. If I am hit with an unexpected large repair, or just a routine oil change, I will continue to give Honest and Accurate my business. Thank you AGAIN for expert service, speed and communication. The folks at Honest Accurate Auto Service are wonderful! They treat you like family here. I had to have major repairs to my Toyota 4Runner a couple of years ago, and recently needed new shocks/struts. I went to Honest Accurate Auto Service to have my rear shocks replaced. Prior to getting the work done, I went in for a consult for them to estimate the job. I had been told by 2 other shops that I needed both my front and rear shocks replaced, but Honest Accurate Auto Care informed me that the fronts were in good condition and did not need to be replaced. This, right here, gave me the confidence that this shop was not going to take advantage of me and say I needed to have unnecessary work done. When they were doing the estimate, they took the time to explain everything to me in detail.When I went in to get the shocks replaced, they were professional, kind, timely, honest, and very thorough. I utilized their shuttle service to get free rides to/from the shop. I highly recommend this shop.

Honest Accurate is wonderful. I have been going to them for about 10 years now. I would never go anywhere else. I trust them. I trust their expertise, and I think their prices are very reasonable. I am so glad I found them!! It can be hard to find a car place you like. Both locations are good, but I really prefer the West location. I trust the people there. Every time I leave I am so thankful to know that my 2009 Honda Civic is well taken care of (very important as a mom of two little girls). HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was quoted $3200 for only labor by a different place. Honest Accurate got it done for $2,500. Fixed a couple more issues I wasnt aware of and were very open about what they were doing and why. Did not force me into getting the work done but instead presented me options. They stayed in contact with me the entire process. Only thing I did not like was it took them a little longer than I was originally quoted but overall I will definitely be going back and telling my friends and family about them. Dave was awesome!

I called ahead a few weeks in advance to make an appointment for several services that were recommend by HAA at the time of my last service there. I was told all my requested repairs could be completed in one day. When I checked in for my appointment, they were missing several of the items I had requested, and told me my car wouldn’t be done until the following week. So clearly some internal miscommunication there on their part. I informed them that I would need to leave town on a specific day regardless if all the work was completed or not. I received no phone call update as promised that day. Then, still no phone call the next day. Instead I received a text report of maintenance with a request for me to call them. I called and the advisor I spoke with did not offer to go through the report with me. Instead he acted annoyed that I had called. He also admitted that he hadn’t bothered to move the completed services to the correct section of my maintenance report, so from my end it appeared that nothing was completed. He offered no apologies for this confusion, was very short with me on the phone, and also disregarded my questions about the cost of some parts and labor when I went to pick up my car. I understand that my car was serviced heading into a holiday weekend, and perhaps the technicians were stretched too thin. However, it was an HAA employee who originally assured me that with my scheduled appointment my maintenance could be completed before my upcoming trip out of town, so they should not have promised that timeline if it were not possible. Very frustrated with my overall treatment here particularly by the advisor Eric who was rude and treated me like I had no right to ask clarifying questions about my several thousand dollars worth of work. I have brought my car to HAA for a few years, and always had a decent experience at the East location, but I will not be returning to the West location.

The staff at Honest Accurate Auto Service were friendly and professional, going above and beyond the call of duty.When I had arrived to drop off my car, I needed a ride to work but had just missed the shuttle. I would have had to wait another 40 minutes but one of the staff took the time to take me themselves.Later, after the car was inspected, the report I received was well detailed and a mechanic helped to explain the necessary repairs and their priorities.I will definitely come back again!

Ive taken my beloved vehicle there twice now and just LOVE the fact that they really do care about doing a good job and taking care of the vehicles that get brought it. I have had my truck worked on at this location several times. On a costly repair that took several days, I was provided a loaner car so I could make it back and forth from work. Last fall I had a steering pump replaced, but it began making noise again. I returned to the shop and they fixed it under warranty. Their shuttle is an incredible park as well. I will continue to return to Honest Accurate Auto for my repair needs.

Had some fairly significant preventative maintenance done to my Volvo (waterpump/timing belt/etc). The outcome was quite positive and the price was fair for the amount of work involved. Be warned though, you pay top dollar for this level of service, it is by no means a bargain garage with Fred the mechanic.I do have a minor gripe with my experience. I was trying to track down an idling issue. My vehicle had been idling higher than expected. I figured it had something to do with the throttle body, and is a common remedy to simply clean the throttle body plate, which gets stuck partially open causing the problem. The technicians seemed to think that it was a faulty throttle body assembly causing the issue. I declined in part due to the excess cost and wait time to have the part shipped to the shop. Fast forward and I decide to tackle some tune up tasks, including the spark plugs. Turns out theyre the originals (Im not the original owner), and hadnt been replaced in over 100k miles. Sure enough, simply replacing the worn spark plugs fixed the high idling. I mention this because it seems like an oversight by the shop to not even consider an inspection of spark plugs for a vehicle running a bit rough.Regardless, still quite satisfied with the work overall.

My family recently moved to Colorado Springs area and my truck was in need of some maintenance. I was recommended this location from a family member and decided to try it. I normally dread going to mechanic shops as I feel they often don’t explain anything which leaves me to wonder if other things are wrong with my vehicle. From the moment I walked in David and his team were extremely welcoming, they broke down exactly what they would do and how much it would cost prior to starting work. Throughout the day they provided updates of how the vehicle was doing and what they had found this far. Upon pickup they broke down everything so that I can understand as I am not mechanically inclined. My experience was truly incredible and what I would hope to get from a mom and pop location. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend them to anyone.
