This might just be the only place in Colorado I trust. The service manager never once told me I needed anything that didnt make sense and they kept me posted every step of the way. They went through and rebuilt a 1950 Chevy three speed transmission for me a few years back and I was very pleased with their price, timeliness and quality. This week I brought them our 2007 Ford Edge, with about 85K miles on it, because the transmission was slipping intermittently. They had it for a day and half trying to replicate the problem, but to no avail. Instead of creating a chargeable issue they gave the car back at no charge. That is a level of honesty that I really appreciate. Quality, timely, fair price and honest - they earned my business. Thanks!

I usually do not do reviews but felt this company and especially Ben should be recognized for EXCELLENT Customer service and EXCELLENT Car repair! I highly recommend their automotive services! I was having some transmission issues and called their shop late Friday afternoon, after getting a huge quote for repairs from another shop, and I had spoken with Ben and explained what was going on with my vehicle, he had gotten me in their shop first thing Monday morning, which was really important for me, hard to be without a vehicle. They inspected my car and found what needed to be repaired, Ben then had called and told me what was wrong and what needed to be done, along with a price, and also made sure it was ok with me before they proceeded to make the repairs. I am very happy with the repair of my car, and also very happy with the price of the repair; very reasonable half the price of what the other shop quoted. Finally, an honest auto shop! I wish I had found them sooner. They are my new mechanics!

Man..really stand up guys Kevin is absolutely my go to guy now..I purchased a car from a dealership and it was blowing white smoke from the exhaust when I started it up the dealership kept telling me it was carbon build up and to put premium gas in it and drive it ...well i knew white smoke is oil and sure enough these guys found out the valve seals were bad. You can tell these guys are honest and hard Workers..I really appreciated their urgency in helping me figure it out so I could call the dealership and let them know. DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK

I only gave 1 star because thats the minimum. I wouldnt bring my lawn mower to this shop. Neither I nor my vehicle was taken care of, in fact my car was left unlocked for the homeless to take my battery and all other contents. Tool bag, cell charger, jumper cables and such. No care was given by guy at the counter or the owner. This is being posted long after the event only because I had to refer someone away from this shop and it feels good to get off my chest.

I had a transmission that was going out in my car and I could not really afford buying a new one. I went to Accelerate Auto & Transmission to see if they could fix it. They gave me a quote that seemed fair and so I left my car for them to rebuild the transmission. I will be honest, I was a little skeptical since I never been there before but after they completed their work and went over their warranty, I felt pretty good. After a while a few check engine lights came on (not related to the transmission) and they took a look at it and was able to fix them completely. This auto shop is amazing! they treat their customers well and the provide fair pricing. I will be taking my car hear for any future work I may need for my car. I highly recommend this place.

Kind, patient, honest!After being quoted 4500 - 5500 for transmission repair with used parts at another local repair shop, I decided to get a 2nd opinion. In my first phone call with Shane, he lifted a huge weight off my shoulders assuring me they would be happy to assist me and I would not be charged astronomical prices.The next week they made time for my car repair and walked me through the entire process each step at a time. They came across additional repairs and waited to do any extra work before discussing with me first. Unfortunately, my arrangement for payment fell through so I had to come up with another way to pay for the repairs. The entire time Shane was nothing but understanding, patient & kind. My car sat parked in their lot for over a week completely repaired as they waited for me to come get it & never once were impolite.I arrived early to get my car on Monday, & expected to be waiting to be assisted until open at 8am. Shortly after arriving, I was let in before open & promptly taken care of. The staff at Accelerate did exceptional work on my vehicle in an extremely timely manner & charged me $1,400 less for double the work of the other repair shop.Thank you so much to Shane and the rest of the amazing staff! Wow! These guys are great. I was so impressed how affordable and honest they are. They really helped me when my car was towed to them with a broken front end. They took their time to show me what was broken before they fixed it. I recommend them for all your auto repair needs.

I thought a bit more about my review of Accelerate and wanted to update it. I always try to give mechanics the benefit of the doubt and honestly as a young guy Ive dealt with a few mechanics that really overcharged me and made mistakes.I took my Lexus to Accelerate to correct some mistakes other mechanics had made and for the most part Joe and Kevin did an acceptable job.However this last time, I took my vehicle in to get the timing belt job done. A couple things, Joe and Kevin took my parts. A week or so later I finally got the car back I had several issues.Notably I had lost my AC. According to Accelerate they knew nothing about this and there is nothing they could do for me unless I decided to replace my entire AC compressor ( I dont trust them to open my AC system ) Never had a single problem with my AC but now it has become unplugged, impossible to correct unless like they said^. So here is the main reason I updated this review, it is now quite hot in the springs and since I no longer have any working AC I am starting to feel the heat. Currently the AC compressor is just spinning, not activating, it was the only deal I could strike with Accelerate after my shock when I noticed after getting the car back and calling them on it.After a couple more days with the car back I took the vehicle on a drive to Pueblo, seemingly no issue. After I returned I noticed a large coolant leak in my driveway also around this time I heard a bad wining noise from behind the timing cover. Also from this time I noticed new large scratches around my hood, on the top of each fender and front bumper. I think its acceptable for mechanics to use simple blankets to cover these areas while they work but this was NOT something Accelerate did for me and the scratches on my Lexus show.The other issues had to be corrected over the course of another week or two where they needed to go back under the timing cover and replace a belt tensioner that supposedly was failing, from the parts I provided. I spent full price on the OEM timing belt kit and honestly doubt any of the pulleys or tensioner would have failed, this is usually a sign of a poor timing belt job that was not done correctly.They also confirmed my coolant leak I did not have before and did their best to correct any other issues.So yeah, here we are several weeks later and because I chose Accelerate to do my Timing Belt I no longer have AC, some would consider this a deal breaker and for me after giving several thousand to Joe and Kevin over the course of a year or more will be going elsewhere.Explain to me why Accelerate cannot properly do a timing belt job on a 4.0 v8 without scratching up the vehicle, permanently disconnecting the AC compressor, causing a coolant leak from a reservoir that likely wasnt closed initially, doing a faulty job and being forced by me to go back in and fix it so I could have a properly running vehicle. Mechanics are people too but I had grown to expect more professional work from Accelerate. I will be going elsewhere for now on, be careful at Accelerate or your vehicle might end up like one in their lot.

An honest transmission shop?If they are not then they are extremely close to it.Thanks to these guys everything that they did was broken down and explained simply enough giving me some confidence to leave my car behind. I was suprised with a reasonably quick turnaround and at a fair price if not slightly lower, most likely Ill bring my car back for more work.

Thank you to the guys at Accelerate Auto & Transmission! My Suburban runs great and they gave me the best price out of several shops! They certainly exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend too anyone needing work done one there car. I took my Suburban in to have a motor mount replaced and a transmission oil cooler installed, my suburban no longer clunks when accelerating or downshifting and my transmission oil temperature is down almost 50 degrees in this summer heat! Very honest hard workers!

Very fair prices, accommodating, and do what the customer want. I love how they stand behind their work. I had my engine swapped with one I provided. They sent the original back for me for my core fee. My alternator wire came undone soon after the repair, later did I find out, and they had no problem looking at it again. I was in a very tight spot and they certainly delivered

Best service Ive ever received from a car shop. My car had some issues and needed to be kept overnight to find out what was going on. They drove me home and offered to pick me up when my car was ready. No charge for this service. They were polite, friendly, and really made me feel as if taking care of ME and my car were top priority. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I brought my Jeep into another auto shop and they told me that I needed my bearing replaced and quoted me a crazy price for it. So I brought it to accelerate and they were so great! It turned out I didn’t need a new bearing at all, and they went ahead and checked everything else out and got my breaks done (which the other auto shop didn’t say anything about). 10/10 would recommend accelerate auto. They always have done the right thing for me!

These guys are fantastic! Theyve replaced several parts in my Mazda and have done a great job every time. After I got my front axles replaced I heard a noise down there while driving, so I asked them about it. They said that it would be covered under warranty if they made a mistake, and they drove my car to diagnose it for free. When they found the problem (which they didnt cause), we ended up jumping some hoops to get the car repaired, as more problems were revealed.I dont know much about cars. My favorite thing about these guys is that they really could have tried to take advantage of me. Instead, they educated me on the repairs that they were doing, taught me what pricings I should expect for auto repair, and--in the end--got me a bunch of discounts to make it affordable for my tight budget. Shane in particular was informative and patient with me. I have been, and will continue to, recommend Accelerate to my friends.

At first I was very satisfied with the fact they could work on my vehicle twice. I was first in an accident and required the replacement of the lower right control arm. A few months after I notice the car began veering right, when I took it in they said the control arm was damaged, likely due to the pot holes. Again I had the control arm replaced and and the wheels aligned. Since then I have not noticed anything wrong with the vehicle and now moved to California. I had to get a vehicle inspection at Meineke and they are telling me and showing me the ball joints are coming out and it seems that the ball joints werent aligned correctly when they pressed it. So I have to have work done on the same part two extra times. I tried calling the location, but Im told the number is incorrect. I wish to address this issue and confirm the work done on my vehicle, but the work done has been since Winter of 2014, it would seem impossible that my stock parts of the vehicle have no issues except the one that was worked on. This whole situation seems a bit sketchy based on my inspection today.*****Edit*****July 20, 2016Thank you for reaching out to me, although it was too late and the shop had already done the repairs, I was able to contact the manufacturer and they are currently processing the claim and I should be anticipating a refund for the parts and labor of the control arm. Thank you for taking the time to reach out, I apologize for a poor review as having to do repeat repairs is distressing especially when I was unable to reach you. Thank you for taking the time to determine the warranty as well as providing me with the invoice via e-mail.

The only issue I had actually with the car after I picked it up was someone had left the car semi on which killed the battery. I had to wait for the battery to be recharged in turn causing me to be be late for work. Otherwise, the work was great, discount was great and staff was friendly. :)

I found this repair shop through the BBB, and I will never go anywhere else again. We had two different vehicles repaired here within a month, and each time, the final bill was quite a bit less than the quote.They get the work done quickly, and everyone we came in contact with was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would not be afraid to recommend to family and friends.

This was 5 stars, but changed it after my second visit. Avoid these crooks like the plague. They got me for 4000 dollars and I got back a more broken vehicle than what I gave them. I know now of at least 3 good parts they took off my vehicle and replaced with bad parts hoping I wouldnt catch on. And hoping for repeat crookedness, I mean business. They know what they are doing. AVOID ACCELERATE TRANSMISSION AT ALL COSTS, or it WILL COST YOU!

I thought the transmission in my wifes minivan was dead. I took it in so they could perform last rights before I hauled it to the junk yard. Turned out to just be a sensor and was fixed the next day.....and Im still stuck with a minivan.

My transmission went out in my truck and this was the closest transmission shop to me that I could have my car towed to. I spoke with Shane upon arrival. I was there in a Friday and he told me he wouldnt be able to even look at it until Monday, seeing as they were booked full. He could tell I was stressed about the situation and moved things around to be able to look at my truck same day. After deciding there were too many things wrong, they let me keep my truck there all weekend and Shane gave me some numbers to salvage yards and offered his help where ever he could give it. Awesome auto shop. Highly recommend.

I brought my truck to Accelerate after suspecting that the $500s worth of work I had done at another shop for a head gasket replacement had been improperly executed. Accelerate looked everything over for me--twice. Found several items that the other shop didnt finish or had reconnected improperly during my pricey repair.They are fair, honest, and I wish I had gone to them before with my head gasket replacement done elsewhere. However, Ill be going to them for all future work. Theyve listened to me every step of the way and given me invaluable feedback. Id recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Ive really enjoyed my transactions with Theresa and the Accelerate Auto crew. Took my car in for new brake pads because they were squeaking. They couldve easily charged me to have them replaced, and I wouldve been none-the-wiser. However, they didnt do that. They explained that the brake pad was still good and the squeaking would go away once it wore through a tough spot on the pad. What I thought was going to be a $200 trip ended up costing me $16 (they replaced a burnt out lightbulb).Called them again yesterday because my alternator is acting up. Theresa put together an estimate for me and called me back today. Shes very polite and easy to talk to. I really like this place and will keep using them.

Have taken in both my Subaru Impreza and Subaru Outback multiple times and every time great customer service, very honest and knowledgeable and not out to rip you off. They do great work and would highly recommend.

When I first did business there I thought this place did good work. A few weeks later my 4X4 transfer case was leaking again. My son looked under my truck and this company had tried to stop the original leaks with some kind of external caulking. I took it to another transmission place and they repaired it correctly with new gaskets on each end of the transfer case. I wasted my money at this garage.
