My wife’s 2010 Xterra needed a new antenna. So we figured let’s upgrade the radio. Chris H pointed us to the perfect head unit with a 7 inch screen and Apple Car play right away. I wanted to add a back up camera and he said it would work perfect. Chris got us on the schedule the same week and the install is perfect! It looks better than some radios from the factory. We are very pleased and will be coming back to see Chris!

I originally went to get tint on my Wifes Jeep. Chris F. was the one who helped me with the selection of tint. I went with the ceramic tint. We couldnt be any happier with results of the ceramic tint. I went back to just get a quote on sub woofers for my 2015 F-150 Super Crew. I was looking at a custom box but he pointed me to the JL Audio Dual Powered 8s. Im like are 8s really going to give me the sound I want. I didnt want competition sound but a nice thump sound. I was hesitant but he assured me that if I wasnt happy with it, I didnt have to keep it after the install and can get me in something else. Talking about a smile from ear to ear when I picked it up. I recommend these powered 8s to anyone looking for subs for their pick-up. These fit nicely underneath the rear seat. I had a bass knob installed too and I had to turn it down and found the sweet spot I liked. Appreciate the great customer service, Chris F. and Ill definitely be back for more services.

UPDATED POST--I received a call from the manager of the Motor City location. He stated that they did have my best interests at heart with the wait until it breaks recommendation and acknowledged that I shouldnt have been charged the $100 given that recommendation from the tech. They promptly issued a refund. I appreciate their proactive response and will use them again once my component breaks.ORIG POST--I set an appointment at the Motor City location to troubleshoot my aftermarket stereo as I routinely get static, like a bad connection, in the right front and right rear speakers. They advised me at time of appointment that the rate is $100 minimum and $100 per hour because this could take more than 1 hour to diagnose. About an hour after I dropped the car off I received a call telling me that the technician did hear the noise and its not a problem with the speaker (which I knew already). His recommendation was to wait until the problem breaks and just fix it then since it could take 3 to 4 hours to otherwise identify the issue (bad connection somewhere, bad head end unit or bad amp). I have to say I expected to get a better answer than this. If it truly takes 4 hours to diagnose, then they should ask a few more questions before setting up the appointment and they 1) could have saved me the time to drop off and pick up my vehicle and 2) could have saved me the $100 to get that kind of worthless advice.

Clean as heck lobby and very friendly & relaxed yet professional team as a whole - not the kindve folks trying to gouge people outta extra money, on the contrary my final quoted price was roughly 15 to 20% lower then I anticipated - firm handshakes DiAS youve earned yourself a future returning customer in me for sure.Chris Wigley (asst. mgr.) was amazing and handled my car-tinting appointment. Side note, apparently the other Chris who works here is also amazing - so dont be surprised if youre treated exceptionally well by any and all persons by the name of Chris at this DIAS... you have been warned.I was able to set my up appointment via email less than 24hrs prior to the job itself. Told them I wanted the top-tier M5 ceramic tint as I wanted the absolute maximum amount of heat + UV reduction possible. Dark as legally possible + a few other small details. Chris responded quickly and confirmed my appointment time - easy. The next day I drive over and meet Chris W. You can tell he genuinely enjoys his job and helping people in general - very patient. My fiance and I came to drive in autosound back in October looking to get a nice set up for our 2006 Toyota Tacoma. We ordered it on Halloween, However Because of covid It took some time to come in. CHRIS H. Has been the best employee. He help us with this transaction, I called him every week to see if it came in. He always reassured me that he was on it and that he would not stop harassing the company until we got our set up. Here we are in January and we were about to give up becuase we just had these empty promises that seem to  just keep coming.... Chris H Came though! He finally got everything in and called 1st thing. He even go us an appointment within the next week. Our experience here was absolutely amazing becuase Chris H kept his word and stayed on top of things.  I want to personally thank Chris h for having to deal with me calling for weeks in a row and for having such amazing customer service. I took my BMW 328xi to Drive-in Autosound, and they quickly installed my tint on a short notice. They did an awesome job, but like most things automotive there were some small discrepancies. Although we weren’t happy with the result, David one of the salesperson did a bang up job ensuring that they did whatever it took to make it right. The folks at Drive-in Autosound reinstalled the window tints wheee the imperfections where and made my car look the best it’s ever looked.My point is, these guys at Drive-in Autosound do more than just window tinting, audio and cameras, they actually know more about the business of customer service. Their customer service is why I’m going back to have another vehicle tinted. I was helped by Chris H, friendly customer service and he got me the best deal for window tint. Brittany did an amazing job and I’m super happy with the outcome. The only thing I wasn’t too pleased with was the leftover paper floor mat and plastic steering wheel cover, along with the inside of the doors being drenched with water; nothing I couldn’t easily take care of tho!

About a month ago I brought my car in for the first time to the Chapel Hills location Drive-In Autosound to get the M4 tint. The M4 is definitely the most expensive but it is absolutely insane at how well it blocks the heat out to where even on the hottest days you can have your A/C on low and keep your car cool as opposed to car without tint or tint without the ceramic coating. Prior to this I did some checking around and price shopping and while they werent necessarily the lowest price, they quickly proved the old adage, you get what you pay for.Unlike other places, they genuinely care and are very personable. They take the time to understand what you want/need and explain in detail what options you have without being pushy. Going anywhere else just to save a few bucks would NOT be worth it.I did have a couple minor uncommon issues with my tint and I was extremely uneasy to how they were going to handle those issues since most places dont understand service after the sale. I cannot praise them enough as to how well they handled it! The level of professionalism and efficiency they displayed was extremely rare and through that they have earned a customer for life and also someone that will spread the good word to anyone looking for any of the services they offer. We will be bringing our second car in for tint today and remote starts for both cars in the near future as well.Thank you Chapel Hill Drive-in team and especially Chris! You are an asset to that company!

Went in Friday and talked with Chris H. about what I was looking for and the next day had my install put in and am enjoying it. I just wanted something simple and basic but better then factory. Chris set me up with an amazing little setup. Did not pressure or talk me into something outrageous to try and nickel and dime me. Sounds great and didnt break the bank.

Went to CarToys. Salesperson was a young kid. Had to ask the “installer” to get the answers to my questions regarding speakers. I then asked to speak to the installer as I had a couple of additional questions. Instead of just getting him, the salesperson wanted to query and evaluate my questions to see if they were worth the installers time to speak with me. 3 minutes later ....I was at Drive-In Autosound. Ive had him install systems in two cars - Im always extremely satisfied. On another system, which an RCA plug loosened and caused intermittent cutouts, they fixed it at no charge. Recently I went to the Chapel Hills Drive-In Auto sound to update the stereo on my 04 Ford F-150. Im in my 50s so I wasnt looking for anything expensive, I just wanted the options that go along with a new stereo. I spoke with Steve and he quickly understood my needs and from that point forward showed me options within my budget and didnt try to continually try to upgrade me into more expensive options, which happens so often now a days. With his help it was easy to make a decision quickly and we set up an install and it went great with no complications. The part that really made the difference for me was Steves willingness to help me with the set up and operation I was use to a 14 year old stereo so when I picked up my truck Steve sat in the truck with me and explained all the functions and set up options. On several occasions I went back in with some questions, with no appointment and nothing wrong with the unit or the installation. Each time he was immediately willing to help and took all the time I needed. You just dont get that kind of customer service very often anymore.

Needed to get the head unit pulled just to get a serial number. The dealership said it would around $150. I brought it Autosound and they did it in 45 minutes and it only cost me 50. Chris H and Jeremey did an excellent job taking care of my issue and provided me with service beyond compare. Thank guys.

I went to this Briargate Drive-in Autosound this morning. I needed a clear bra and fender flare protection for my new truck. I was met by David Hendricks who was a great help. He got me in promptly and explained his product in detail, he is a good communicator which is rare these days. My truck was ready earlier then expected and looking over the work it was exceptional! I have never seen this job so well done, I have done this in other cities on a least five vehicles. Very impressive and working with David was a bonus. He was a pleasure, overall I had a wonderful experience. If you need the products offered from Drive-in Autosound you can’t do better than David and the Briargate location.

Started talking to Chris a couple of months ago to get a remote start in my wifes car for Christmas. At the beginning of December I went in to set up a install date. I waited too long and the day I wanted was full so I opted for Tuesday the 17th.When I went yesterday morning I was told one installer had gone home sick and another one was sick but stayed to work. They were unsure how long it would take to get the remote start installed since they were short handed. I left the car at 930am being told it could take all day. This was not something I needed to hear as this was a Christmas present and I did not want my wife to know it had been installed until Christmas.I drove by around noon and my car was still sitting where I had parked it so I was getting nervous it would not get done before my wife got off work. I got a phone call at 230pm telling the car was done. I was very happy and my wife is none the wiser.Good Job Drive in Autosound for getting this when you were hurting with sick employees!

So I shopped around for speakers to be replaced throughout my 2015 Chevy Malibu and started at the big yellow and blue place with geeks and they were way overpriced and did not seem very diligent in getting the service done or scheduling you for service in a timely manner. So I turned to the real professionals over at Drive-In Autosound and they were AMAZING to say the least. Steve is very friendly and isn’t pushy when deciding on products.
