Tim helped us and he was amazing! We have an almost two year old and he not only put something on to the tv to entertain him but he was so patient with him and us throughout the experience. I was not a fan of the test and he stayed calm helping me figure it out. Great customer service!

Great experience!!! Pretty easy and great worker! He was nice and pleasant to talk to. He was also very informative and laughed with me while I was trying to hum the hell outta the interlock! Lol

My husbands truck had the interlock installed into it in 2014 and since then we have had to replace 3 batteries, 2 alternators, 2 starters and the ignition switch. He called smart start to make complaints about the system and what it is doing to the truck and the staff there said that the issue was with the truck and not the system (I am certain there is no truck or car out there for that matter that would need a battery replaced every year for 3 years same thing for the alternators, starters and ignition switch) The truck would overheat almost everyday and when the truck all of the sudden would not start, I suggested to my husband that he remove the interlock. We had the truck towed down to this location and they removed the interlock. My husband called me as soon as they were done doing it and I asked him to start his truck AND BY GOLLY THE TRUCK STARTED UP WITH NO ISSUE! It has been over a month and a half since we uninstalled the interlock and the truck is running PERFECTLY! No over heating, it starts up right away and everything. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TYPE OF COMPANY TO ANYONE EVER! ALL THIS IS, IS A WAY TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF PEOPLE AND SINCE ITS GOVERNMENT RELATED NOBODY WILL DO ANYTHING ANYWAY! DO NOT USE SMART START UNLESS YOU WANT CAR ISSUES!!!

This company exists to do only one thing: Prove to the government of Colorado (& any other state) and the DMV that there is an interlock unit in your car so that you can get your license reinstated, and so that you can fulfill your terms of probation when you have gotten a DUI or a DWAI. I want every single person who has a DUI and is reading this right now to determine which company to go with when selecting an interlock provider to NOT SELECT SMART START. I had this device for 2 years. Smart start was never a nice or pleasant company to work with. They are very rude, think they know everything, and do not care at all about the reason they exist. Smart start proceeded to cause me to have to show up in court, instead of getting a simple speeding ticket (the first one I have EVER gotten in my entire life), the cop informed me my license was suspended at that time. That cop could have taken my license, impounded my car, and really ruined my life for a couple weeks. Instead, he could tell I was overtly shocked when he told me it was suspended (after EVERYTHING I went to a year and a half ago to get it back) and told me he would not do that to me. When I called the DMV, they told me they did not get a download from Smart Start. Are you kidding me!? You must be kidding me... No they were not kidding. Smart Start exists to send those to the DMV, and they failed to provide their service that one month. Not only did I not receive a free month, or any offer to help with court costs, but everyone was very rude and pissy when I talked to them about it. The call center rep told me it would take 5 days to send that information to the DMV. I escalated, of course, because Im standing on the side of the road waiting on my dad to come so that he can drive my car home for me, and she gave me a phone number of the top people in Colorado, Pat Schneiter, Lakewood office, is the woman I contacted. She said she would get it pushed to the DMV that day, because it was their fault, but she saw that it was sent to them. She later ended up telling me some completely contradictory information from the DMV which is unsettling. The DMV informed me that when an interlock is removed, the downloads get sent to them regardless of a final download which is not what Pat told me. She told me that the downloads for their interlock system downloads the information from the month before every month. For example, my final download would have had to have been in June, because I was getting it removed at the end of June. She told me that when I got the download in May, it only sent April to the DMV. That is twisted and backwards, because then the download in June would only cover May, and Id have to get another download in July, when I no longer have the device in my car!? I called the DMV again, the call center (girl hung up on me because she kept saying with the 9 month program and I finally told her stop saying thats even an option PLEASE Ive had this 2 years I dont even want to hear again that there is a 9 month program! & she decided that was being disrespectful to her for some unknown reason) and called other interlock companies. The other interlock companies told me they do NOT charge for a final download, because the removal sends all the information to the DMV anyway, which is parallel to what the DMV said. This basically means that Smart Start will not charge you for installation, sure, but they will definitely charge you for your final download on top of getting it removed. When I called Pat to let her know what I found out on my own she didnt argue at all. Just told me when I could remove it - which I already knew because of what the DMV said. I am filing formal complaints with the BBB too, because of the court costs I will have to pay and because of the lack of general knowledge of their own product and their terrible, beyond ridiculously unnecessarily rude customer service as well.

The worst place ever. Only one guy to do installs. My 1hr job turned into an all day affair. DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE
