They seriously have some great staff members! Super friendly and helpful!☺️
This pharmacy is the WORST! Every time I need a refill its an issue. There app isnt worth the code that programmed it. Its NEVER accurate and there are always issues trying to log into my account. Our medication administration should be persistent and reliable. Go somewhere else if you value that.
Were new to the area and when we first looked up directions on Google and Google Maps for this CVS in the city of Colonial Heights, it took us to a house in a residential area! The address here is wrong... the actual address is 629 Boulevard, Colonial Heights.. NOT 629 Colonial Ave.!!! Otherwise the service here has been average except being completely ignored by staff helping all drive through customers instead of those in line in the store until another staff member noticed and finally came to help.
I love this CVS location! Ive bought a number of different items and they always seem to have what Im looking for! I went in for a flu shot a while back and it was quick, easy, and the ladies behind the counter were friendly and kind despite all the many customers that were soliciting help! Would highly recommend!
Awesome service! Ran late for my appt and they were super helpful!
NOTE: location is 629 Boulevard, not Colonial Heights Boulevard as provided by both Google/Google Maps and our vaccine confirmation emails (gps will route to 629 Colonial avenue (a house) with this address). I have reported the inaccuracy to cvs and google mapsWe were here yesterday for our COVID-19 vaccinations. The place was clean and the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Our only real complaint was that both the cvs vaccine confirmation email and Google maps gave us the wrong address which dropped us in the middle of a neighborhood in an area that we were not familiar with and it took us a while to figure out where we were actually supposed to be and made us 15 minutes late to our original appointment time. However this didnt seem to be a major problem as we were still checked in and seen rapidly. Which we were both thankful for.
Buy being a customer here youre annoying them
I never had a problem with picking up my prescriptions and the pharmacist is very knowledgeable. No complaints 5 star
If I could id give this particular cvs pharmacy -5 stars! They are rude, have no sense of urgency for anyone or anything and never answer their phone! The store is a mess and the pharmacy area behind the counter is a disaster of lawsuits waiting to happen! It needs to be shut down or better yet get better pharmacy staff!
Happy to report that CVS is amazing! They always seem to have everything I need, and more!
The women that work there have so for many years and normally will remember your face and so kind and considerate. The males that work there, in the front are nice nasty, obnoxious and have been so every time I have come in store and had to speak with them at all. There for, unless UPS drops off a package there, I will not be visiting that location again.
Nice folks clean store
If I could rate a negative stars rating I would. The lady at the window immediately showed that she had a severe attitude problem and was so rude and disrespectful. I told her I was self pay and would like to use my good rx card. She proceeded to tell me she has to file a claim to use good RX. I said Good RX isn’t an insurance company and I’m not using insurance so what is there to write a claim to? She then holds my Good RX card up and says if you use this card I have to file a claim while rolling her eyes and bobbing her head.... I said it’s okay I’ll go elsewhere. This CVS has been going down hill for years and I only go there when it’s my last resort but I can promise you I will never return there again even if its just to use the bath room.
Friendly staff but meds arent always filled when they say they will be.
I’m not sure what has happened, but service has gone downhill drastically. Prescriptions are never auto filled anymore, are not ready when promised, and times at drive thru are horribly long. It’s also causing a lapse in medications being taken daily. I was informed today by my doctors office that they have been lying to customers stating they have requested refills from their doctors office and sending nothing to them. Then telling you you have to call. Very frustrating!
Absolutely the worst pharmacy on the planet
My doctor recently sent over three new prescriptions (6/21). When I hadnt heard anything by 6/25, I called my doctors office and had them send them over again. On 6/27 I picked them up, only to find that one prescription wasnt ready. I checked my CVS app and it said In Process. I called the pharmacy on 6/28 and was told that they were out of that medication, it should be filled by 7/1. This isnt a life or death medication, so I wasnt upset, just a little annoyed. Today, 7/1, I checked the app and it still said In Process. I called the pharmacy and was told the actual reason that my prescription isnt available is that my insurance requires prior authorization. No one from the pharmacy contacted me to let me know, they didnt call my doctor to let them know and now, 11 days later, I still have not been able to start the new medication. I will be switching to the Jeff Davis/Chester location.
Prescriptions are never ready and have to wait forever on the phone to speak to someone. Auto refill is also never done. I am changing to another pharmacy!!
I just called CVS customer service to file a complaint against this location. I use this locations pharmacy ONLY because it is the only pharmacy in the southern end of Colonial Heights. I suspect this is the reason why the majority of this pharmacys customers use this location. I have lived near this harmacy for 9.5 years. I used Walgreens across the street until they closed about 6 or 7 years ago. I estimate 90% of my transactions with this pharmacy are unpleasant due to either the pharmacy staff having a rude, unpleasant attitude, my prescriptions not being filled on time or incomplete prescriptions, problems with insurance communications, problems with applying pharmaceutical manufacturers discounts, problems with attempting to send electronic fax prior authorization requests to my physicians offices, problems with refills being sent to the wrong pharmacy location, problems with not receiving text notifications to let me know my prescription is ready, problems with not receiving the correct amount of medication, and so on. I am not typically a difficult consumer - I understand that sometimes things happen that are out of anyones control. This pharmacy location however has consistently displayed a lack of customer service skills, and the customers are treated like they are a nuisance rather than an asset to the business. I am not saying ALL of the pharmacy staff has a bad attitude or displays a lack of professionalism, but a large number of the staff does. Look at the Google Reviews online, or any other online business review forum, and you will see numerous complaints that support my dissatisfactory review of this pharmacy location. I will have to drive 40 minutes out of my way tonight after work to pick up my gabapentin prescription because the refill was sent to the Hopewell VA location. I know I did not request the refill to go to Hopewell, and my doctors office staff told me they were not contacted regarding the refill and they did not send any refill requests to the Hopewell location. The CVS pharmacy staff in Colonial Heights told me the prescription could not be transferred back to them because it is now a controlled substance. A woman at the Hopewell location told me the Colonial Heights location COULD request the medication to be transferred to them. I called Colonial Heights back, and they said no it cannot. I called Hopewell back, and a gentleman at the Hopewell location said no it cannot be transferred to Colonial Heights. So apparently there is also a problem with the staff not being aware of federal or state regulations. I called CVS customer service, and was on hold for at least 10 minutes before a woman answered. She stated that she could see information I cannot see in their computer system, and that is why they are telling me the doctors office had the refill sent to the Hopewell location. I trust my doctors office staff, and I do not believe they would lie to me. I think someone at the Colonial Heights location erroneously entered data in the computer system to reflect that the doctor had the refill sent to Hopewell. I would not doubt that someone would enter incorrect information in the system. It happens with all businesses that use computers all the time. If the system shows my doctors office had the refill sent to Hopewell then the customer service reps should be able to tell me the time, date, and name of the doctor or staff member who submitted the refill request or authorization. The medication had a refill available, and I have never heard of a doctors authorization being required to refill a prescription that had available refills on the label. It is just one of dozens of negative experiences I have encountered with this pharmacy. The business hours were drastically cut back in the last couple of years. I am assuming this is due to a lack of business. If so, perhaps the corporate office should evaluate WHY business to this location has decreased. All they would have to do is read the Google Reviews to get an understanding of the problems.
I have been continually unhappy with this pharmacy for my entire adult life. 9 times out of 10, the entire staff is rude beyond belief. They never know how to answer any questions I have, even if its about vitamins or ointment or something seemingly easy. The final straw was today when they charged me over twice as much for my prescriptions, giving me a larger supply, without making sure it was okay with me first. Ive been coming to this specific pharmacy since I was an infant, and Im surprised its taken this long for them to lose me as a customer. If youre looking to transfer to a new pharmacy, avoid this one entirely.
I called in my husbands meds and I got txt saying they were ready but when I got there the extremely rude lady at the drive thru window said only one was ready and not the others. One was insulin for my type 1 diabetic husband that I had been fighting to get and was told it was ready before I got there. I know mistakes happen and I wouldnt have been upset if the cashier working drive thru wasnt so rude to me. Im seriously thinking about switching pharmacies after being with CVS for over 5 years. Very disappointed in the way I was treated today. I dont think she should be working with customers. I wish I got her name but I was so irritated that I forgot to get it.
Before I continue, I’m a type one diabetic who needs insulin to live, and could have serious consequences to not having medication that this pharmacy has put me out on multiple times. I’ve been with this pharmacy for years, and I’ve had nothing but problems. They lie to you about prescriptions you really need, such as them saying that they sent the prescription renewal to the doctors, when they haven’t actually sent them. I always have to call the doctors myself to see if they actually sent it. They are constantly out of stock of items, they tell you it’ll come in on a certain day and you’ll wait almost a week before they have it. I always call before I’m out of insulin just to make sure I’m not completely out. I had to switch pharmacies recently due to all of this. Whoever is the head of the pharmacy either needs to be fired or told how to run a pharmacy correctly. If I could put 0 stars, I would.
Always super slow and never have my prescription in stock. Switching pharmacy chains for good.
The store itself is great. The pharmacy however leaves a lot to be desired. While the pharmacy staff is mostly friendly, theyre often super backed up and give horrible time estimates as to when prescriptions will be ready. And when they are are backed up there is absolutely no hustle to catch themselves up.
This is possibly the WORST pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The store itself is good enough but if you need the pharmacy I strongly suggest driving a few more minutes to another location. I have NEVER got a script filled without a problem. I never like to leave reviews except when something was phenominaly good or abysmally bad. This pharmacy and the majority of the staff including the pharmacists fall into the latter category. My problem was solved with a simple insurance/doctor prior authorization interaction by a young lady at another location in a matter of minutes as the pharmacist at this location informed me I had to contact my insurance company, send to doctor, and have doctor send it BACK to insurance company blah blah blah. I strongly advise using another location if its at all possible, this place is horrid and no one wants to, or is incapable of doing their job.
The latino girl in the pharmacy is always rude. I saw her throw someones prescriptions. And slam the phone down as well as yell at me. Ive been trying to get my prescriptions for a week and they are out. This is ridiculous. Im pregnant and need my meds. They dont care.
Awful, my inhaler was called in last night. I have a 30 min lunch and go to pick it up and they say we dont see anything..... they double check and find it but tell me it will be ready in 30 min. I need my inhaler and will get off work after the pharmacy closes. Worst pharmacy.
Used the curbside pick up option here. When you order online they tell you that your order will be ready within 2 hours. Well I waited the 2 hours, they sent me a text saying my order was ready, and now Ive been sitting here in my car for 20 minutes. Why am I giving you 2 hours to get my order together and why send a text saying its ready if I still have to wait when I get here?
Excellent employees. ...theyre always very helpful!
Sometimes it can take up to two weeks to get my rx filled!
Sat in the drive thru for more than 20 minutes to pick up a prescription. Several employees walked by the window looked at me sitting there and kept on walking. One employee was busy on her cell phone. Very poor service.
They have all the drugs you need!
Very helpful and always has my prescriptions done on time
Service was quick and friendly.
This pharmacy is a joke it is 6 on a Tuesday there are 6 people in line and 7 cars in the drive through the worst pharmacy I have ever been to I’m going to drive to Chester just so I never have to deal with this pharmacy again the people are so rude and lazY my prescription was called in yesterday and when I called to ask them about it the next day they said it still wasn’t ready so apparently it takes 2 days to fill a prescription
I have been sitting in the drive threw for almost 30 minutes they came to the and siad be right with youThey suck
Kept hanging up when I was trying to get through to talk to a pharmacist after having me on hold
Worst pharmacy ever! Customer service is horrible!
Staff was helpful, friendly!
Store is only OK and the open 24 hours description is VERY misleading. The actual pharmacy has very limited hours. THE store is open 24 hours but not for scripts. And the wait is ALWAYS over 2 hours for even 1 script to be filled.
Jan was incredibly rude to myself and the customers ahead of me
The people at this CVS are always rude
