This place is HORRIBLE!!!! Wont even tell me what was wrong with my computer when they have had it for over 2 weeks.... Literally doesnt make any sense. Waste of everyones time.
Very prompt and professional data recovery on a hard drive and they charged a fraction of what Best Buy was offering. Also came with good recommendations for additional service if need be

I took my new HP computer in because it gave me a message saying the booting device was not working. My 10 year old HP was on its last leg and I needed an esitmate of what it would cost to get it fixed. I was going to take them both to the Geek Squad at Best Buy, but on the way I stopped into Brazos Valley Computers. Im so glad I did. They fixed my problem by uploading my new laptop from my old laptop, installing three different computer protection systems, and running a systems check to make sure my new laptop was in tip top condition. It turned out that my old HP needed several parts and I decided it was too expensive to repair. They offered free recycling including wiping the hard drive. My computers were only there for 4 days. The price was very reasonable and Anna Cronberg and her staff were very patient with this not so computer savey grandma. I plan to use them again when Im in need of computer repair. Thanks BVC!
Anna is awesome. She fixed our computer in a timely manner and got a new computer set up for us. Very knowledgeable about what shes doing. I will call her again if I have any computer issues.
I wouldn’t take my computer anywhere else. Anna and Evan are a the best of the best. I’d give them 10 stars if I could! If your computer has a crisis virus or you just need some help and don’t even know the question to ask go visit them!...you’ll be glad you did

Unbelievably rude to my wife and two year old because the kiddo kept pulling his mask down. They threatened to kick them out when my wife tried explaining he is only two, even though they themselves werent following sanitary procedures.

Well I hope with any small business there are issues that can easily be resolved. Unfortunately this may not be the case. I took a laptop to them in mid-march for a hinge issue and a camera issue. At first they seemed very reasonable and responsible. They said it was going to be 200 to 400 to repair the hinge and re-seat the wires in the camera. That seemed very reasonable to me, and I enjoy using small business. Well I went to pick up the laptop, and the hinge was fixed and the camera, well not so much. Minor things that could be corrected. Upon getting my laptop she said she broke my screen to my laptop and that she would pay for a new one to get fixed. I said no problem I understand these things happen. .... well 2 months later my screen is still not fixed, and the camera is not working. 2 months of me needing the laptop for online test that have to be proctored. I have already paid them half (200) of the 400. She told me that she can not find a replacement screen for my lap top that everyone is pout of stock. I went to the Asus website and found my screen in 5 minutes. The reason why she hasnt fixed it is because she broke it and my new screen runs 400 dollars. So I am hoping she makes this right still, because I have already paid half and she did break my screen. If not well I have no problem taking people to small claims court.

Brought my desktop in for a diagnostic and possible repair, and, when I did decide to have them repair it, they only charged me for the repair and not the diagnostic too (unlike every other place in town I called that would have charge me for both). I had a small issue with my computer about a month later and gave them a call and Anna helped me solve it over the phone. Great work, good customer service. Definitely using them for all my computer needs.
Dont do business here please. I went to get a passport picture. I am in the Army and I was in uniform. I asked the lady that was taking the picture if it was okay and she said sure. You can take the picture in uniform. I was not able to use the picture because you cannot be in uniform. I then asked her if she can take another picture with me in a different top and she said no. She said that she did not know that you could not take the phote in military uniform. Then she told me to call a 1800 number to see what they can do for me. It was no help also. Please go somewhere where people have knowledge of the services that they offer. Plus they have dogs roaming the office. So please be aware if you are allergic to dogs.

Came here for fingerprinting THREE times. The first time, I got here and was told the finger printing person was ill. I didnt even receive an email notifying me of this. I was told not to make an appointment and to just walk in. I walked in the next day during their normal business hours, and it was closed. No reason why or email explaining why. Came back for a THIRD time, theres a dog running around that belongs to the fingerprinting lady. Theres a girl here who is highly allergic to dogs, and was freaking out. SO unprofessional. Who brings their dog to their place of work?! I hate this place!
I came to get a Passport picture from this place and didnt like the service for it. I ask the lady was it ok to take a picture in uniforms and she yes no issues. After I left I checked the website to make sure had everything for passport and it stated I cant have picture In uniforms. I said no big thing Ill go back and just take another one. I went back and they told me that they cant retake picture. I was only gone for 10 minutes. Then they gave me a number that didnt help at all. I dont know why it so hard to print another picture out. They said I had to pay again for something they did wrong. ILL NEVER GO BACK THERE!!!!

Do not go here. It may be the business service built, but its the businesses incompetence and lies destroyed.My experience is typical of smaller repair shops, and this is just something you have to look out for.I took in my PC rig in to have it diagnosed. Every time I called them they were Working on it and Its in front of me right now. Three weeks later I finally went to pick it up and they told me it was busted and there was nothing they could do. Distraught, I took it to another repair place to get the parts replaced, and the gentleman simply performed the first bit of diagnosis that any competent computer service business would perform and told me the problem was an easy fix.Apparently it is typical for CPU repair places to take one look at a computer and decide not to work on it. So instead of telling me up front, they lied to me and charged me for their service and diagnosis regardless.Youre better off taking it somewhere else.
I walked in and bought a hobby computer for my fiancé for $200! I was able to pick and pull and customize. Good parts and good service!
I took my computer in after going to Best Buy. Geek Squad was unable to help repair my computer, while Brazos Valley Computers fixed it in a timely manner. Its been over two years after the repairs and I have had no problems.

Went here for fingerprinting. It is a small, quaint shop but they look affordable.
Was scheduled an appointment to do my finger printing here. Was supposed to be seen at 1:10 and they didnt get to me until a little after 2. While I was waiting I witnessed horrible customer service. Along with that, the phone rang about three times and all three times they let it go to voicemail and werent even busy. Id hate to ever have to come here again.

Walked in for a data transfer to a hard drive. Lady at the front asked if we needed fingerprints and said no, she said “okayyy” with rude tone and explained the situation. Prices were $120+ just to move a couple of files over. Will not ever return.
