Honestly the fact that this is a union shop really shines through because every worker is clearly doing a good and able to make the customer experience top notch. They don’t just throw groceries in the bag, they actually put them in in a sensible order so they don’t get crushed. Absolutely wonderful place to shop, prices are good too.

One of the few grocery stores I shop. They have large produce section wih great variety. Also love the big donuts - the baked and fried chicken - next to deli. Cashiers are friendly and helpful. What more can you say. Recommended!

Went locally for three items.. usually I dont consider this grocery store for fresh fruit, but low/sale pricing overwhelmed me. Nectarines, plums, Bananas--wasnt impressed with their quality, and a small display,-- greens, and a fresh-cut fruit cup for an unbelievable low $3.99--WOW!!!Three meats, juice, frozen vegetables, and my always most favorite Shoppers item...fresh baked apple fritter, twice the size of all competitors, delicious, fruity, and amazingly priced at $1.50...the size of a catchers mit. I will visit Shoppers for just an apple fritter. If you never had one, try it. Bet you go back!

No comment as I dont want to own my thoughts as I just got home from this SFW with flowers Im pretty sure will be dead in the morning and the coupons I spent time before I went in werent taken off. Maybe my fault for assuming that if I uploaded the coupons and bought the specified product, it would have been taken off my bill and wasnt. Its a pretty good grocery store. Lots of offerings, and I like their selection of international foods. The produce is pretty good, too. And their glazed donuts are really, weirdly good - like, better than a supermarket donut ought to be.Only thing is, their deli is SO SLOW. I actually really like all of the Kretschmar products at the deli, but they need to staff it better. Theres usually only one person working there and it makes the wait pretty crazy a lot of the time.

I went to this Shoppers because it is conveniently located approximately 2 miles from where I live. It is a large store. It was clean and well stocked and to me the store is organized and appealing. I found most of the items on my shopping list. It seems that some of the items are a bit pricey compared to the prices at Walmart, but for the convenience of location, I wont complain. Masks wearing and social distancing are observed. Check out lines moved quickly and the associate was pleasant. I will continue visiting this Shoppers location in the future!

Overall, this is your typical suburban grocery store. Nothing special. But I have to give a shoutout to their international foods selections, as well as the Kretchzmar deli meats. Their bakery is pretty respectable, too. Only drawback: there is always a long wait at the deli, and pretty much only one person working there. The check-out lanes are also understaffed, with too much reliance on the self check-outs.

They refused to use my Real ID totally Legal by the government of the united states. I explained to the manager that with my ID I can use it as a passport to travel to the United States and that Puerto Ricans are American citizens. Both managers refused and wouldnt let me buy. I find it reckless on the part of managers not to investigate. Completely discriminatory an act of ignorance.

A few days ago, I went to this Shoppers at around 4:30pm for an Instacart order. As I was halfway through my order it was items I needed help with so I walked to the front to get assistance. I saw Ms. Rita talking to her colleagues but looking in my direction so I asked if she can tell me where the items were. Not as pleasant and interested in helping me. She reluctantly said about the first item, It should be over there while pointing and walking away. I said where are you pointing and I have something else I wanted to ask about. Her response was, I have a customer and proceeded to walk towards the other customer at the customer service desk. I was baffled and not pleased in the manner in which she handled it as if I wasnt a customer. As I walked passed her, I stated how rude it was to walk away from me, that I am a customer as well who asked for assistance before he arrived at the desk. How she couldve asked someone else to assist him or me and not just walk away.At this point, I was on my own looking for the items in question. As an employee, Ms. Rita responsibility is to assist customers and she failed at doing so. She is definitely a poor representative of Shoppers Food Warehouse.

I’m filing a corporate complaint on my terrible experience today. I’ve never been treated this way in my life! The store manager Terry approaches me very rudely and told me I was taking too long holding up “his” customers.. mind you NOBODY was in the store which was also poorly stocked at 11am. I couldn’t find zucchini and there wasn’t any frozen fruits. Then the cashier kept telling me I was doing something wrong when she’s the one who put debit I said I want credit and finally she did what she was supposed to do it worked as credit didn’t even apologize and said “SEE IT WAS YOU” .. the manager then threw my vegetables on the belt saying that I ruined his merchandise taking too long. I said are you crazy?? Then he tells me i’m banned from his store! Thanks because i wasn’t looking forward to EVER coming back

I have been to this Shoppers location in College Park Maryland multiple times since 2015. During my most recent shopping trip, I purchased multiple items that featured Clear Fruit Cherry flavored water, items to make some sandwiches, some lemon juice and more. There are options to choose from when scanning the orders to purchase either from traditional registers or the self scanner checkout registers. I am blessed/lucky to have obtained the groceries from money made at my current place of employment.

Carlile or whatever his name tag says hit my car with a cart. Left a dent in my rear... Dont recommend parking near the carts

Best Shoppers around College Park

Today was my last time shopping here. I had a cashier named Robert who was extremely rude for no reason at all. He didn’t even greet me. There was absolutely no customer service and I truly thinks he shouldn’t be allowed direct customer contact, he’s caused you lose revenue. I’m probably not the only customer that had experienced his rudeness. Never again! I’ve filed a corporate complaint.

Unprofessional management Staff... I was in shoppers shopping for food and I was wearing a black hoodie and black hat and the management staff followed me around to make sure I wasn’t stealing profiling unprofessional... My opinion only.

I went to buy BEEF ribs and when I Cooked it. It was a mix of PORK Ribs and BEEF ribs. Im very disappointed how these to different types of meats were mix. I don’t eat pork for religious purposes but if I was allergic to PORK your mistake could caused me a visit to the ER.

A very decent grocery store and competitive pricing as Shoppers and know for having. The store is clean and well stocked and they have a nice international selection as compared to Safeway or Giant. Also, the store is well staffed because they always have several lines open so the wait is not that bad. Yes they sell wine and other alcohol beverages. Good job to whomever manages this store. With the location, residents and all the college students in the area the store is maintained.

Do NOT purchase from this supermarket. They sell bad meat. Me and my boyfriend got food poisoning. We both threw up, I had severe diarrhea as well. I spoke to customer service and they did not try to compensate me or my partner. They do not sell good meats. This was the second time I brought used meat from there. The 1st time I had to throw it away. They lost me as a customer and I will tell everyone I know not to purchase there. If you do have a doctor on standby.

I used to shop here regularly for a year when I lived nearby. The prices are pretty good and staff is somewhat friendly. The store is not particularly clean the produce section isnt very extensive but the prepared food section is pretty extensive and the bakery makes a lot of good stuff including many very large donuts for a good price. Additionally this is the only grocery store on PG county that sells wine and beer. So its great for one stop shop for a get together.

Not a bad place to go for groceries. Might be in line for a while though. The place is almost always packed with people. Parking is very difficult at times because of the great demand, and the parking lot is a little narrow. If you go early in the morning or late at night, you probably wont have too much trouble.

Store is always clean, most of staff is friendly, usually has everything I need.

Convenient, checkout is usually pretty quick. Produce is fine. Deli and meats also. I do like setting their rotisserie chicken - cant beat $4.99!

The store itself is fine, even if the selection isnt great for a lot of products. But the deli is awful. This is the second time Ive gotten meat thats already well on the way to expired and smells bad. On top of that the people who work behind the counter absolutely refuse to slice meat the way theyre asked to. Its apparently too hard to change the settings on the machine. They dont check to make sure theyve done it right, they give you different amounts than you ask for (one younger employee only seems to know how to slice up half a pound or more, even if you asked for much less), and they act like youre bothering them. Im done with this store, well be doing our shopping somewhere else from now on.

I love how big this shoppers is. They have a good variety of things that I would need and want. I definitely like the check out your self lane. As long as you dont touch your items after you scanned them and place on thing where the bags are youll be good to go. Because the thing is like a scale and it weighs the items you place down to get bagged. And if you move just one item the machine would say please take or move this item from the bagging area. Bag all your items when youre done paying for them.

Not to thrilled with Shoppers in the 1st place. They claim lower pricing but Ive seen some of their items priced higher than Safeway. Ill stop in if I seea good deal on a specific item, but generally dont bother with Shoppers

Large, clean store with great produce! A little hard to find the firewood they had. The staff didnt know where it was either (but they were friendly and tried to point me where they thought it might be), and I found it eventually so no big deal. (Its next to the freezers tucked away in the front corner past the pharmacy)

Love this store! Go a couple of times each month. Prices are great, the layout is nice, bright, and easy to access. The parking lot always seems a little dirty (cigarette butts, puddles of water, trash, etc), but I like the staff and the products.

Management is rude and disrespectful. Store is unorganized--certain products can only be purchased with cash/debit, but you dont find out until the checkout line. Makes for a very difficult shopping experience.I walked over here to buy an Amazon gift card for my wife yesterday evening. I waited in the checkout line, but then when my cashier rang me up he couldnt complete the checkout. He fiddled around, called over an employee, who called over another employee. 5 minutes later, a manager came over and asked how I was paying. I showed my credit card.The manager simply took the gift card, tossed it to the side, and without even looking at me shook her head and said No, cash or debit only, then walked away. I didnt have either with me, so I said forget it.Immediately I double checked the gift card display to see if there was any language that denoted a cash/debit policy. None. I double checked the back of the gift card to see if there was any language denoting a cash/debit policy. None. Ridiculous!This store wasted my time. The manager was needlessly rude to me, and acted like I was some kind of criminal. All they need to do is put up a sign that says Gift card purchases are cash/debit only and this whole thing could have avoided. Take your money elsewhere, to people who respect their customers.

The produce is okay, however they often arent stocked terribly well for things like cilantro. The fruit is generally pretty, but never ripe. I dont trust their meat and Ive gotten did poisoning from their shrimp, and their ground beef has a lot of gristle. Also, the bathrooms are always dirty. They have a very small frozen fruit selection. They are fine for packaged products. My family likes their doughnuts.

Nice store. We come here every time we stay at Camp Cherry Hill down the road. We get all our supplies and snacks and food for roughing it in the woods. Store is quite large with plenty of selection. Nice bakery with doughnuts and pastries, and also very fresh produce as well as an atm on premises. Easy to access from the main road, and large well lit parking. See you next year Shoppers!

Produce section has good variety of fruits & vegetables, and the greeting cards section has nice discounts on name-brand cards. Parking spaces are narrow, and access to the store isnt too easy because of the very busy intersection of Route 1 and Cherry Hill Road nearby.

Pretty good selection here with very reasonable prices. They sell all groceries including some wine and beer. They are also very good about keeping the shelves stocked unlike other area grocery stores.

This Shoppers is located in a shopping center along with a Starbucks, Hard times Cafe, Best Buy, Home Depot and few more small shops. Plenty of free parking, safe area. Easy to get there, right off the I-495 as well as route 1 (Baltimore Avenue) and of course you can get there on Cherry Hill Road, metro accessable is a plus! They have the best hours, open early (6am), closes late (midnight). Fresh produce, awesome doughnuts and beer/wine!!!

I loved shopping here until I found the items that I come here for are more expensive than other grocery retailers. Aldi is within 3miles and has changed my perception of Shoppers prices. Food Lion also beat shoppers prices.However, the convenience, checkout speed, customer service is unmatched. Maybe explains exorbitant pricing. BEER and VINO is here but dont expect grocery store prices on that. Matter fact pay as much as the nearest Liquor Store maybe $1 more.

Prices were more than Walmart and the store was poorly laid out as you had to go around offices in the center of the store to get to fruit sea food and vegetables.

Decent grocery store. Affordable but clean and presentable. If you want to avoid lines, dont shop there on Sunday evenings. But that rule goes for most grocery stores anyway. Only minor issue I have is that it is deathly freezing in there. I cannot walk through the store without a hoodie, doesnt matter what time of the year. So keep that in mind when going to shop there.

This place is a dump. Produce section was particularly bad. Vegetables etc all over the floor and looked like it had been that way for a long time. Also my wife and I did not feel safe. Definitely wont go back.

This the best looking Shoppers location that I have been to in awhile. I think the location in Laurel is pretty good too. I usually shn shoppers becuase they, cleanliness, the staff are lacking but I really needed to get a few things and I was pleasantly surprised.

Convenient location but a little bit more expensive. Very disorganized. It can be difficult to get into the store if it is busy bc there is no area to get passed the registers without going through a line or bypassing them all together and going through the produce which means you have to go around half the store. The produce is good for the most part but I do find something rotting everytime Im in there and the employees dont care when it is pointed out. Closed pharmacy without notifying customers and when the manager was asked where the prescriptions were being sent he have me a general location and told me to call costumer service for the address.
