I had Roger replace a water pump, some belts, and power steering hoses, on my 74 Chevy. He went above and beyond by cleaning up pretty much the whole engine compartment. Prices are in line or cheaper than others, and he never leaves anything sitting outside.

I was passing through on my way to visit some friends over an hour from where I came from an over an hour to where I was headed when my car started acting up. I looked up auto service in Clinton and this was the first place that popped up. I was pleasantly surprised that the gentleman was able to stop what he was doing and help me right away. It ended up being a fairly simple fix thank goodness and I was on my way in about an hour and a half. He was very kind, great customer service I would definitely recommend going here!

I have used Cameron Automotive for years and have always had great service. He has done work on wiring in a few Jeeps I have owned. He also replaced all of the power window motors and lock actuators in my truck. He did a great job at a reasonable price. Cameron has been my mechanic for some 30 years. He has all the modern technology to repair cars but also the old school diagnostic ability to apply logic and intelligence to figure out the problem when modern technology falls short. My family had an unexpected problem with our vehicle. We were so fortunate to find Roger Cameron @ Cameron Automotive. We were coming home from a trip from the lakes and heading back to Iowa. We were still 4 and half hours from home and troubles came up. Pulling into Rogers shop he was quick to greet us and take a look at our vehicle. We had some grinding metal sounds coming from the front wheels. After he drove around a little with me he said sounded liked I had a wheel bearing issue. Although he was very busy he said because we were out of town he would see what he could do. From this moment on Roger just took the utmost care with us and our vehicle. This was around 3:00pm and he said unfortuantely we should not drive any further. He drove us to a close by hotel and then went home and went immediately to work on our vehicle. After pulling the wheels off he called me and shared the news that I did have a bad wheel bearing, tires rods, and brake pads. He said he would call around to find parts but was looking more likely that he would have everything the next day by 2:00pm.The following day he called me at 9:30am and said he has everything ready to go. He said he was able to find parts later that night and actually went back into the shop late to work on our vehicle. He knew we were out of town and said he put himself in our shoes if he was stranded out of town and how he would like to be treated. Roger is one of the best mechanics I have ever worked with. He treats you with the utmost respect and his prices are very reasonable. I wish Roger was located in my town as he would be a person I would always trust my vehicles with. Who knows, I may make the 4 and half hour trip next time I need someone to look at my vehicle.Oh, he also called me when I got home to just make sure our family made it safe home. If you are in Clinton and need a repair, there is no one else I would recommend... I called after work but Roger got my car in right away and was very polite. My car was ready the next day and he even asked me if it was ok if he could check back in on the following day to make sure everything was working properly!!! How many mechanics do that?

Great Customer Service! I called and made an appointment for the following day, left my car for 4 hours and when I came back my wiring problem was fixed and at 10 percent of what others told it would cost elsewhere ! Cameron Automotive repaired the harness others said would need to be replaced. Wow, Great Business, We are lucky to have Cameron Automotive in Clinton !!

I live in Independence MO keep taking my truck to dealer for electrical short they never could find it. Friend gave me Cameron number he found the problem in ten minutes. Since then i just take it there worth the drive.

My car was at 3 different places before ending up at Cameron Automotive. It would not run and no one could figure out why. The 2nd mechanic charged me $600 and fixed nothing. The 3rd mechanic was at least smart enough to send the car to Cameron Automotive. Mr. Cameron diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road in less than 48 hours and for a 3rd of the price I had previously paid for no results. I would highly recommend going straight to Cameron if want your car fixed quickly and at a fair price. He is the smartest mechanic in Henry County Missouri.
