Incredible automotive shop. The owner is very professional and knowledgeable. He fixed my truck and had me back on the road fast, I wont take my vehicles anywhere else.

Went in for a quote and was quoted 800$. I went somewhere else and paid 200$. the guy was super rude. Maybe he was having a bad day or something. But you gotta be nicer if you’re gonna run a business

These guys are the very best. My daughter was driving home from Florida State to Cincinnati. Her car broke down on I-75 in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of the night near Clinton Tennessee. She was in a bad situation. Ended up her alternator went out. Had the car towed to the Pit Stop based upon the online reviews. He was booked solid for the day, but understanding our situation, he had the alternator replaced in less than 2 hours and gave me a very fair price. I cannot say enough good things about this shop and the owner. Thanks so much for bailing us out!

Great small town shop. Helped me without spending a $ in their place when I was in an accident. If I’m anywhere within a few hundred miles and even an oil change necessary going there.

We broke down while travelling. The guys at pit stop took us straight in and worked nonstop to get us back on the road. Customer service was superb as well as the knowledge of the mechanic. If I lived closer, id not ever go anywhere else.

Dont come here if you know whats good for you. They charged me 350$ to install a new battery and made up a story about how they spent 3 hours on it. No change was made to my vehicle other than changing my battery. Mark would not accept any lower than 410 unless i paid cash on which he lowered it to 350. All that showed up on the invoice was a charge of 153. The rest was a transaction they made outside the books. They are breaking the law, lying to their customers, and cheating them from their money. I pray God punishes them.

Job done right. Fair price. I had my van worked on, brought the wrong parts, they found the right ones. Quoted a fair price and charged the quoted price, even tho they used some of their parts to fix it. (Just some bolts and oil filter, but nice to not have to run to the store to find some). Comfortable chair and directTV in the waiting room. Mechanic updated me twice on the progress of the work (only took 1.5hrs). I am very picky about my mechanics, I asked around and did a lil research before I came here, I am glad I did because everyone gave a good recommendation, and I will also. My new local mechanic.

Im new to the Clinton/Knoxville! I had a problem with my TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) solenoid and brought it to Advanced Transmissions off of Clinch Ave. I read some reviews on it and did not feel like my car should be held captive at that shop. SO! I googled and thank the LORD that this shop popped up! When I went there I already felt at home! MARK!!! Who is the owner of Pit Stop Shop did everything he could to figure out what was wrong with my TCC. Well, Nothing was wrong with my solenoid, Thank GOD. Mark summarized the problem and said that he would fix it! PLUS He goes above and beyond for all his customers! After we got done figuring out my problem he gave me a fusible link for my amp in my car for FREE and hooked it up. Now, Thats what you call getting CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! This if my first review, so... It goes out to Pit Stop Auto Repair! THANK YOU MARK! and cant wait to see what the LORD has in store for you man! STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP! 10/10 from experience and customer satisfaction!

You pay for what you get. Cheaper than any dealership or Indy shop. Parts are also cheaper too. Replace the same stuff 6 months later. Save yourself the time and hassle . Pay more to have it done right elsewhere.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!to begin with we live in Smyrna, Tn. and work in the Brentwood area, we had already gotten to work when our daughter called stating she was broke down in Clinton...we drove 2.5 hours to haul the truck home but unfortunatly was unable to tow it ourself...took a chance and googled a local mechanic and Pit Stop Auto Repair came up, I read the reviews and thought wed give this guy a shot. we had the explorer towed to his shop and told him we would go on home and come back in a week or so to pick it up since he was SO covered up with other vehicles to repair and we had other vehicles to drive. Mark, quoted me a GREAT price and was the friendliest person ever to deal with especially when your spending $500.00 2 weeks after Christmas!!We left his shop to go home to Smyrna and within 10 minutes we received a call from Mark stating if we hadnt gone to far to come back................Truck is now running?????we turned around, went back to the shop and was charged $75.00not only was Mark friendly and very reasonably priced but he was HONEST!!! turned out it wasnt what we had all originally assumed it was and it was a quick fix.that goes a long way in todays world!! Then, today we receive a call from Mark at Pit Stop. why, you ask???? just to make sure we all made it home safely and didnt have any other issues. I had an emergency on my truck ( drive shaft was about to fall out ) brought it to pit stop they were VERY professional and fixed the problem. THANKS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

To make a long story short. They chopped up my undercarriage to my truck and welded to fix a oil leak. Do not take you vehicle to this shop.

They have done all my mechanic work for several years and have always been honest and fair.

Overpriced. Trying to make the most money off every job. I was gonna pay for a new exhaust and was quoted not over $300 everywhere else. I wws quoted over $400 at the least.
