Omg yall...my Ford Escape decided to blow its motor, under warranty. Clinton auto group got me a rental through Enterprise, took my car and put a brand new engine in it. They were a week early getting it done. And now, my car runs like a new car. I mean, better than when I bought it brand new through them a year and a half ago. Theyre all so nice and the whole shop deserves a raise. There is a bulletin out on this engine and they didnt even question it, they knew what it was within minutes of looking at it. Im so happy that I took my car back there. I was happy when i bought it, but man am I happier now that it runs better than the first time I drove it. 😂 Thank you Clinton Auto Group!!!

This last saturday I was traveling to visit family in Iowa and stopped at Clinton Auto Group on the way, saw this beautiful 2019 Dodge Ram, drove it and loved it, traded in my 2017 Ram, would suggest if looking for a newer vehicle to stop there and compare, Don Griener was great, and Aaron in Finance had me in and out in under 20 minutes, and a special thanks to Rich Ross for making the numbers work for both of us.

When it comes to technology this place is top of the line, probably even out matching similar dealers in bigger cities. Their auto system even texts you with vehicle updates.I gave it three stars based on prices being exceptionally high and their car porter almost hit me in the parking lot (she came flying around like a bat out hell and almost hit me while loading a new spare tire I purchased, it looked like she was vacuuming cars and not even an apology), it surprised and frustrated me, secondly a new spare tire and rim here was $1200.00 which I found exceptionally high priced. Its worth a visit though with several vehicle franchises and a state of art repair facility. Exceptionally clean and modern complex. Sales and auto service staff was wonderful, loved the cute little poodle they had in the facility.

We’ve purchased 2 vehicles from Don and had great experiences both times. We never felt pressured or misled.We walked on the lot right at closing on a Friday and Chris walked out to greet us and took the time to answer questions, even after he found out we had been working with Don but he was out of town. Chris made arrangements for us to test drive the vehicle the next day, and we finished up the purchase with Don yesterday.We’ve also had our vehicles serviced at Clinton Auto Group and have felt welcome and at ease while waiting for the vehicles to be completed.You can tell the customers come first, and the employees are happy.

I set up an appointment for an oil and filter change and set up for an air filter change. Previously I lived in the middle of nowhere with gravel roads and field dust everywhere so I felt it was important that I got the air filter changed. I specifically had them put it into my order for this reason. When I went to pick the car up I was told to wait until the next oil change and have it done as it was a difficult filter to change. As my car was under warranty and a manufacturer they sell I wanted there to be no reason for there to be problems with my warranty. I received no call from them as to the fact that they made the unilateral decision to not service the filter. The appointment was made a week ahead.

I just want to thank the sales staff at CAG for everything they did to get me into the vehicle i wanted and needed for the upcoming winter. Finally got the service department to believe me about a problem that wasn’t showing up on the computer. Wasn’t completely their fault because Ford won’t let them test parts to see what the problem was. They gave me a vehicle to drive while they worked which was great. Not all car companies will do that. Will go there again.

HIGHLY recommend getting second opinions when getting work done here. Gave my mother an estimate of >$3K to repair her car when she wanted a faulty sensor reset. Claimed timing chain, water pump, gaskets, ect.were all bad. Took it to two other places for estimates and they absolutely laughed at their diagnosis. No oil leaking, no oil burning, no overheating, water pump working perfectly... Consumer BEWARE. Not the first time ive heard of this from them either.

We were very happy that Clinton Auto group service dried our black car off after they washed it. If you dont it spots and looks worst then when we brought it. Thank you for that. And we had great service.

Ive always had to go through buy here pay here places, which we all know these places over charge. I was hesitant to go through the drama of a new car purchase. However, Chandra was amazing. When you are 6.5 hours from home and you throw a check engine light and it is -10, panic can set in. We mustve gotten some untreated diesel when we filled along the way across Iowa a couple of days before and with the extreme cold the fuel was gelled when we needed to head home.Clinton Auto Group was able to get us in to get it warmed up and cleared the codes and made sure the fuel system was working properly so we could get down the road towards home in a very timely fashion. Tyler in service even offered that if we needed to spend another night in Clinton, we could leave the truck in their service area overnight so we could get going first thing in the morning. That is going above and beyond.

I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere for service; Nick will say whatever he feels like saying and neither him nor his manager will stand behind what he says. I cannot speak to their sales department, though I can’t imagine it’s far off.As I am not local to the area, I had them inspect a truck I was considering from another local dealer. They said the truck was in great condition minus a few dents and scratches. Here’s what they “missed”:* Out of alignment* All 6 tires for various different reasons “Have 30k miles left on them”, but all were replaced within two months of taking delivery of the vehicle.* Steering box* Weak battery* Entire truck needs resprayed* Reverse sensor repaired incorrectly, effectively making them useless (was obvious when backing up)* Tailgate hinge inserts* Rear bumper cover very beat upAnd a few other things that I’m forgetting at the moment.There’s also the topic of the brakes. I didn’t include this in what they missed because they did not miss it; they never checked them. This is where Nick fell short; if I had a recording of this, I’d have already filed the lawsuit. He flat out lied about the brakes, stating “They have about 30k left on them”. I found out 4 months into ownership that the brakes actually had about 4k left on them at the time he said that. Called up my local dealer and was told 1.2k for parts for the fronts *alone*.

I asked to talk directly with the mechanic because there was a lot of history on my problem and I am a competent backyard mechanic. I was so happy with the Service Manager introducing me to Dean. We had a conversation and it was obvious that the mechanic was glad we had a face-to-face before he made attempts to fix my problem.

The service was excellent.However, the person who scheduled my 1st appointment was either untrained or incompetent. I had to make a second appointment due to their inability to complete this simple task correctly. I even questioned what they were saying n it didnt dissuade them from providing wrong information.It was an inconvenience to me, but to someone who doesnt have the time to make a first appointment let alone a second one, it is more than an inconvenience. Im sorry, doesnt cover the time, expense, n inconvenience for those people.The unfortunate service people are left to handle the fall out.Just sayin....the service n service providers did a excellent job, but the scheduler needs to work on her skills.

Took my truck in for a recall. Was done promptly had oil changed. Rotated my tires and washed my truck off at no charge.

This is a great place when you are in need of a vehicle, it does not matter if you are buying used or new you are treated like family and given great deals. The service dept is amazing they always let you know what needs replaced immediately and what can wait.

I took my Jeep SRT to Clinton auto group after another dealer couldnt fix my problem and ended up buying a new work van! Horrible car detailing! Even after they had my aunts car 2days and then offered a full detail a 3rd, it still came back in same condition. Very disappointed! Stated they vacuumed and shampooed yet still same dirt on floors and hatch was never even looked at!!
