Walt and the team over at Fox Toyota Knoxville was just amazing. Walt went above and beyond. I live out of state and parents live in Knox. I was surprising them with two brand new cars, big deal for us all, and Walt helped me find what I needed and even went to another dealer to make a trade for EXACTLY what I was looking for so I could book plane tickets and set up my surprise! We did all of this over phone and text and just went awesome. Then to top it off they found me two big red bows and recruited some other team members to help with the surprise. I rarely ever write reviews and when I do its for good reason. Good or bad. We just picked up our new Highlander from Fox tonight and I was so thrilled with the experience that I had to share. These guys are solid through and through. While most dealerships these days are trying to rip off their customers through market pricing (e.g. a 20% markup) based on the chip/ inventory shortages, these guys were more interested in making an honest deal and retaining me as a satisfied customer. In fact, thats almost the exact words of their GM when I called. They sold me right there and I drove nearly an hour from Farragut to their dealership. When I got there, my salesman, Matt was a true professional. He knows his product through and through, communicated with me through the entire process and made sure my wife and I were completely happy before we drove off... even staying late for us on a Friday night. Their finance person, Robin was equally good, explaining everything in what I think is the most transparent conversation and honest deal Ive ever had in all my years of buying cars. No pressure in either case which made the whole thing not only enjoyable but memorable. What the other Toyota dealer just 5 miles from our house doesnt get, these guys do... which is how to earn and retain loyal customers. I use to love taking my car here, receiving service coupons in the mail, and being greeted by the service advisors when I pulled up was great. Now every time I take my car to be serviced, no one greets me at my car. I go inside to them when I pull up, seems kind of rude if you ask me; especially when they are all standing or just seating there looking at you. Also, the last three services I have had done on my car this past year have not been good experiences. No one has given me the sheet to discuss what services were serviced on my car, to tell me if my brakes or tires are in the green, ect. I would not recommend buying tires from Fox Toyota in Clinton either. My tires are still under warranty and the last time I had a flat, I had to pay for a brand new tire out front. I had picture to show them it was flat, and had to stop and have air put air in the tire three times before getting to the dealership. The first year you are apparently covered, but second year of your warranty they will only pay for half of the tire if they find something wrong with it. Guess what, they did not find anything wrong with tire... I was outta luck and had to pay for a new tire upfront. My most recent service was getting my oil changed, censor changed, and rotating my tires. Very next morning, my tire pressure light was on in my dash and I had a flat by the time I got off work. Got that fixed. Next problem and scared me, the entire tire popped off the car. Tire was not flat, just came off. Dont ask me how. I had get towed home. Very thankful no one rear-ended me and that it wasnt worse. Look at the inside of the tire once it popped off....

Just purchased a used Toyota 4Runner from Fox Toyota in Clinton,TN. We were so impressed with the laid back atmosphere and the service we received. Rick Collins was our sales person. He was super helpful through the process and went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is shopping for their next vehicle.

Took my girlfriend here to get new tires 2 weeks ago. I had been a long time customer and so had she. She was given a quote of $760, and it was somewhat unclear if this included an alignment. But I’ll give you that one. So a maximum price of $850 was to be expected. I was standing right beside her when she said she could afford $700-750 tops.I took her car in for tires while she was at work. Imagine the shock and surprise at the cost of $995.I had bought several sets of tires at Fox and many other services as well. In fact my car had never been serviced anywhere else. I have always paid what my quote was. I had never experienced any like this, or even heard of this before. And to top it off, I sit in the waiting area for about 30 more minutes staring at the car ready to go. Only when a tech got in to take it BACK into service did they act. Yeah, you knew it was ready but you were enjoying your conversation with your co-workers to much to be bothered by getting the car out in a timely manner. I hope you enjoy the profit you made off these tires, you lost two long time customers in the process and I’m sure even more sales from friends and family.One last suggestion to the new owner, change the name. You are no longer Fox Toyota!!!There is even more to this story but I would only get angry if got into even more detail. This is about as professional as I can be after these antics.

Went to get the car serviced. Walk in the shop the guy looks at and go ya, I told him we were here for our appointment to get service. He says ok, just leave the keys thats all we got. And he was rude. So forget it. We will just go to knoxville for service.

I have traded with Fox several times in the past and was always treated fairly and honestly. I recently visited Fox to buy a used $50 Tacoma and trade my 2017 Tundra limited. The sales manager Paul Moore made me a ridiculous offer, not even close to two previous offers at other dealers. Paul wanted to play the salesman games. I am very disappointed with Fox and will not return.

Nice people. I usually make appointment and wait for service to be done. It is never long. The people are polite and respectful. The auto service has always been good. No issues ever. And they have cookies with their coffee set up.

Got 2/3 of what I needed done today. Waiting for a call back about how / when they can fix my A/C. Ill move it to 5 stars once my A/C works. The car is one week old.

If I could give no stars I would. For days my friend has tried to get a car there, they keep giving him the run around. He had to call and call just to get someone to call him back. Then had him drive all the way out there again for nothing. They have done nothing but waste time, and it seems that they pick and choose who they want to help. We text and called the salesman’s phone and still no one would call him back. If you choose to go anywhere check out Claytons used cars on Clinton hwy! They are the best and ask for Randy Rogers!! They will not stop til they get you in your car…

This review is for the service department only. They have had more than once tried to take advantage of my young daughter while in for her free oil changes. Only once my husband called them while our daughter was sitting and waiting on her car did they admit the filters werent that bad yet. Its discusting that ppl are still trying take advantage of young women like this. It was made clear she is only in for oil change.

Our overall experience was great with this Dealership. Got an appointment with ease on website. My vehicle was in and out for repairs the same day! Price was a bit more than I was expecting (or wanting to pay lol) but automobiles can be expensive, so no fault to the dealership. Tim was the service rep that helped me and he was very polite & professional. Overall, a good experience!

Took my Tundra in having a squeaking sound coming from the engine compartment. They say its a pulley and that should take care of the problem. Call me pick it up and say its ready the truck has the exact same sound as when I brought it in and now its even louder. I drive it back to the service and the advisor Drew says I wrote it in the notes where the sound was coming from and that you should be able to drive it no problem like that. I was never even told what the problem was from the beginning. Made me feel as if they were doing maintenance on the truck just to make a buck (a buck meaning $900 bucks) and then let me drive off knowing the sound was still there and they already had me pay. Definitely felt like a money grab. I realize Toyota in general is hurting from Car Sales due to the virus and felt like they are trying to make it up in the service department. They did put new wheels on my truck and did I good job with that. Ive always been willing to pay good money for good service. Didnt feel like I got that at all. :(

I have now purchased my second 4 runner from Fox. My 2016 was in an accident and was totaled. Looking on Fox website I found the exact 4 runner even down to the color. Ken Buckner was my salesman and Ryan White was the finance guy. They both were fantastic. I never stepped foot in the dealership and today my new 4 runner is sitting in my driveway. I was driving my son’s car cross country (Iowa to South Carolina), I needed someone to check out a problem with the car and suddenly I saw the Toyota sign from the highway. I stopped 15 minutes before closing time. They could have said “sorry, we are done for the day”. Nope, they stayed late and checked to be sure my car was safe to continue driving on my trip. The entire staff that I worked with was beyond nice. Thank you for taking care of a traveler!

Great place to get a car or truck

Good service. My RAV4 is running so far! I wish they were closer to downtown but they are better than the con artists at Toyota Knoxville so I’ll keep getting services there. Only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is that they stole my wheel lock from me. I got it back luckily but I’ve never had a dealership steal something from me.

Pleasant salesman, clean cars. Looking for used car, gave specific details of what amt. we had to purchase, from an insurance claim. He totally ignored the amount I told him. He came back with an amt $1500.00 OVER! I looked up Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds on 1, the discounted price he quoted before taxes, etc was $4000.00 HIGHER than their quotes! I was so disappointed, as I wouldve liked to have made a local purchase.

Went to Fox Toyota and I was very impressed by Ronnie Fox, he was checking on all the customers including me and my wife. I ended up buying a truck for them, Tim was a very good salesman no pushing or pressure to buy. My wife and I went to Fox Toyota to buy a Tundra on January 18 2020 . We arrived at 5:30 pm they closed at 6:00 pm we spoke with salesman Wes Shoemaker we showed him the truck we wanted . He was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were worried about arriving so late didn’t realized they closed at 6:00 pm but anyway they were very polite didn’t try push us out door due to time . Made buying experience pleasant. We drove away in a new 2020 Tundra crewmax limited . Wes, his sales manager and finance were all pleasant to deal with. I live in Knoxville and have driven 40 minutes to go to Fox Toyota for years for service/repairs on my Camry. They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, courteous and provide excellent customer service.

Best dealership to go and get your vehicle. The owners are great, service department (Tim J and Bill), sales force is great especially Larry L and the Sales Manager, Chris H is Fantastic. Very up front honest folks not pushy just a great experience. I purchased a Used Rav 4 and new Sienna this year 2019. Great vehicles and great price. They know how to take care of you even after you purchase the vehicle as well.

Our Subaru broke down right next to this dealership. We limped it in and asked them to look at it. They said $60 for diagnostics, applied to the repair if we fix it. We said fine. We needed to know what we were up against. They came back and said it is in the transmission you will have to take it to the Subaru dealer. No charge. We would have paid them without question. If they would not take our money (out of towners with no ties to them) how will they treat you?

My review is regarding the complete lack of precautions to protect their customers and staff from the current pandemic. It seemed business as usual in the service area waiting room today. I saw an employee refill an already used cup at the self-service drink station. 20-30 people sitting in or wandering through the waiting room with no regard to social distancing. I saw one customer wearing a mask and zero employees. It looked like the only staff wearing any type of protective equipment were those actually getting in the cars; they were wearing gloves but no masks. I chose to stand outside to wait on my car.
