Long story short seen a 2016 purple challenger for sale on their website, came for a visit and test drive ended up going home with it within a couple of hours. Kenneth was a awesome salesman made me feel comfortable with the whole buying process highly recommend to anyone who’s in the market for a car. Dropped vehicle for a whole day for recalls. Not fixed. Shouldve been more prepared! We took vehicle down to look at part needed and they did not have anything when appt came to put it in. Frustrating! Idk when we will have time to do this again. Said theyd call when one part came in. Havent heard a thing...update..they called but idk when we will get another chance to get in.

I had to put one star if I could I would have put nothing the worst service I have ever seen dropped my truck off to get a recall fixed and a electrical issue after 6 weeks nothing had been done to the truck when calling to check on it I was told that the technician was pulled away to work on something else my truck was pushed aside I guess my money was not green enough I picked the truck back up still with no work done to it not even the recall I will not take anything back lost a customer in me

Just got the last truck back after it was sitting at cooper for 3 months and service light comes on. They are a joke. Will never buy another truck from there again.

I would NEVER go to this dealer for ANYTHING!! DO NOT take your vehicle here for service! Had a fuel filter replaced on my Ram 3500 and it was installed incorrectly. The picture is of the fuel puddle that my truck was making because of the fuel leak. Had another dealer replace the fuel filter. This dealer is refusing to reimburse me for the second fuel filter repair even though the second repair order states fuel filter leaking because it was installed incorrectly. If a dealership will not stand behind their work, I think they will not stand behind any of their products and would not even consider buying a vehicle from them as well.

We found the car online and drove from out of town to find that everything was as advertised. I would definitely deal with Cooper Motors again. Double check everything the salesperson tells you.Both my husband and I asked if there was a jack and equipment for lowering the spare tire. We were assured by the salesman that he had seen them, himself. Well, unless a box of brake pads counts as jack, tire iron, and pole for bringing down spare, I dont think it was an honest answer, which we would have preferred. Nothing like being stuck, unable to change your tire, or even get the spare down. Not very nice, and certainly not very professional on their parts. I would gladly have purchased the kit after getting home, had I known, but stupidly, believed the salesman.
The commitment to communicating updates and promises kept, as well as fixing your car is awful. My car was there for 3 weeks and 2 days. I was told Id get phone calls and never received any. For those weeks it seems my car was on the backburner. No one gave me the impression that it was being worked on AT ALL. The day I went to the place to check, I was told an hour. We came back in a hour and a half to no positive results. I was told my car would be delivered the next morning after they called and I paid for it. I started calling after 10 a.m.and couldnt pay til after 2. At 4 they stopped answering my calls and I had my father call. He tripped them up in so many lies. I finally got my first call to say were finally on the way. They had someone DRIVE my car to me!!!!😡😡😡😡 What happened to towing? Thats miles being put on my car, someone I didnt authorize to drive it, and my gas being used. How do I know he drove straight here? What if hed had an accident or hit something? Im calling better business bureau in the morning!
Sold me a 2014 Challenger r/t that had been wrecked on both quarter panels at rear. My rear end was making noises and my rear tires would wear out fast. CarMax inspected the car and found the problem, so I sold it to them.
Nobody wants their expensive car to break. If its an obviously out of the ordinary malfunction your stress level can elevate rapidly due to car dealer horror stories. Cooper Chrysler has the expert mechanics to find and fix really DIFFICULT malfunctions, that Chryslers computer aided diagnosis cant find, and a General Manager Herb who WILL step in, if you are feeling insecure about the repair. These people were HONEST and COMPETENT and worked perfectly with my mechanical insurance firm GEICO. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars was their shop is obviously overworked and Weston, the Operations Manager, has his hands overflowing with scheduling mechanics and cars, in a way to fulfill promises. If your car breaks and you are within towing distance....COOPER IS the dealer you hope they will be.
Earlier this week I called and spoke with one of their used car salesmen about a white used Ford Explorer they had for sale. I inquired if there were any issues with the body, engine, transmission and if the vehicle was a non-smoker vehicle. He said there was no issues with the vehicle. I told him I was in Spartanburg and that I would need to leave work early to get there before they closed. I drove 70 miles round trip to see the vehicle. Test drove the vehicle and when I stopped down the street to check the vehicle, I found multiple rust spots on the roof of the vehicle and when I opened the back lift gate, there was white over spray up at the top near the rear window that made it evident that the lift gate had been replaced as the interior color at the top was not white. The headliner was falling down as well. No wonder used car salesmen continue to have a poor reputation. Terrible customer service with a lack of honesty and integrity.

On 8/28/18 my family and I was returning from vacation when my truck went into limp mode. I went through multiple dealers before coming across Lynn Cooper. I made the call and Kristie answered the phone and welcomed us to stop by and they would see what they could do. When I arrived I was met with smiling faces who acted like they had known me forever. Kristie, actually came out and got in the truck and rode with my family to show us where to drop the camper I was pulling. It was on their lot and taken care of. After diagnosing my truck Ben Nelson came out introduced himself and gave me the unfortunate news. My truck was going to have to stay at their dealership until the 31st, due to ordering parts. All in all I would like to say what a wonderful bunch of folks that work at this dealership. Ben went above and beyond to work with me and the warranty company to get me well taken care of and save my family some money. Truly exceptional people that work here. I really cannot say enough. The truck I purchased needed multiple repairs. Bought a used pickup. I later found it had a leaking radiator and was badly misaligned. I spent over $1000 to repair it. I feel like this full service dealer should have taken care of these issues or at least told me about them, so I could have negotiated a fair price for the condition.

Don’t bring your car here! It’s a waste of money & TIME!! Took my mom’s car here to get an oil change and the car was skipping so we asked them if they could find out why. To make a long story short the customer service was awful and we stayed there for 5 hours for him to come tell us “oh we stripped it down trying to find the problem we still didn’t find it, but we’re putting it back together and you can just bring it back tomorrow”. We got the car back all the services lights were still on AND the parking breaks no longer worked. Now they’re telling us we have to pay for everything they broke while attempting to diagnose the problem they never found. We’ve been loyal customers to them for years!

I called the service department and wanted to bring one of my promasters in for work. I was told that it would be at least two weeks before they could even possibly look at it. Really? They should have just told me that they didnt want to work on it. I own three of these vans. I have called this dealership four times since January and I have always been told the same thing... 2-3 weeks to get my vans looked at..

Professional staff fixed my car in a timely manner
We were traveling down I 26 toward Edisto from NC when our battery light came on. It was Saturday, the weekend before the 4th. We panicked, as we had just replaced the battery. (think alternator: think stranded on the interstate with luggage and kids). It was 1:45 p.m when we found Cooper Motor Company. They were supposed to close at 2 p.m. The staff probably wanted to go home and enjoy the holiday weekend. Instead, they stayed late and helped us even though we were not local and we were not likely to be future customers. How many businesses would do that for complete strangers? The problem ended up being a bad sensor on the battery, and we were on our way about an hour later. They didnt even charge us. I wish they were in our town, because they are decent and honest people who helped us when it wasnt convenient and didnt profit them. So, if you need help, or to buy a car, and you live anywhere near Clinton, SC, go here!
Prices were reasonable but service was awful. Every time I had my car or daughters car serviced here, we would have new cosmetic damage to our cars. Eventually both of our plastic shields underneath our cars were barely holding on. I wish they cared more about their service.
Cooper Motors serviced my car twice totaling in $1200+ and it still gave me the exact same problems as before they fixed it. They told me to bring it back after having it 2 weeks the second time but i would have to come out my pocket for a third time to fix the same problem... I dont understand how Dodge dealer cannot fix a dodge the same people who manufacture them.. Definitely wont take my car here again...

Put an internal slave cylinder in my dart and got it back and come to find out they dropped my car and done just enough to get by when i actually needed a clutch plate also. Why not call and inform me so i can pay for it to be put on while youre at it? So i have to pay for labor twice for the same issue. Misdiagnoses if you ask me.

Its sad when a car company makes you wait 1 1/2 hours for an oil change! With little reason to explain why Ive been waiting this long i will not be back here for an oil change or any other service. The employees were nice but nice dosent get me an hour and a half of my life back and watching tortues daytime television.
Do not take your car here. They will not fix it, but will charge you outrageous prices. Dont mind paying if they would actually do the work. Very unprofessional told me they hated they even worked on my car. Had to take my car back 3 times for the same thing and two thousand dollars later still not fixed. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Will be taking my car to Stokes Trainer from now on.

I bought a new Dodge from a dealer in Columbia, SC. I have had terrible terrible customer service after the sale. No matter how small your problem is you will get the run around when you need service. Please dont buy any Dodge or Chrysler products unless you know the dealership very well, because you will be sorry you did, if you need service after they get your money.

I called the dealership wanting to put a deposit on a used Ram 2500 that I saw on the internet. The truck I wanted was listed on all major used car sites (auto trader, car gurus, carsforsale, etc.) as well as the dealers website. Every site had the same identical price ($27197). Some sales guy answered and when I asked him about the truck with the stock # he said he would call me right back. One hour goes by and I never received a call. So I called back and the receptionist transferred me through and the guy told me that some employee has been driving the truck as a dealer demo and that the truck has 7,000 more miles than the mileage listed online. Okay? Thats strange but I STILL wanted to purchase the vehicle believe it or not. So I told the sales guy on the phone that I would like to purchase the truck, but that the price would need to drop a little bit because of the increased mileage (which just makes sense). I told him I would buy the truck at the asking price but I wanted that price OTD. He said okay and that he would talk to his manager and call me right back. This time he actually called me back and told me that the price was wrong online and that the actual price was 30 something thousand. Are you kidding me? The truck has been listed online for over 100 days with that price and the mileage isnt even correct! I have no clue what kind of operation they run over there...its a miracle they are still open for business. Its rare that someone wants to purchase a vehicle at the actual asking price...let alone the dealer rejecting the offer and increasing the price. Complete bull. Dont even walk in this place.NOT TO MENTION this all went down 4 hours ago and they STILL have the truck listed on their website as well as all the others with the same price!!I have called the manager and left several voicemails and he is yet to call me back. Class act dude.
Brought my car here for airbag recall and to have a key made. No one called me to say the car was even ready for pick up, so I called them before closing. Then apperently, there was an issue with making the key (which, no one bothered to call and tell me), but i received a bill for $80! Asked why i was bring charged that much for a key they could not charge, so they adjusted the price to $26 for them having to look up the pin#...🤔. I called a few days later and was told to call back in order to speak with the GM, Bert Fields. So, I did and he explained that they have had problems with hiring folks and medical emergencies. Ok, knowing that had nothing to do with my situation, i said sorry to hear that, but I dont understand why no one called me to say there was an issue with mlthe key, so I could have been given options to have this fixed. He said the tech is only going to repair whats on the ticket, nothing else. I have necer taken my car to a place that doesnt call or come to the customer if waiting to explain what they found if any issues come about, but apperently they do here. I asked Bert to give me a price for a key from them including programming...he asked for VIN. I gave him the number and he put me on hold, only to never come back to the phone. I hung up after 10mins because I was at work at the time. Bert never even called me back that day nor the next day to give me the price, so I guess i am still holding. I would not recommend this place to anyone for service. There customer service skills are no existence and apperently they have no respect for the paying customer, because had I been contacted the day they had my vehicle, I would have been glad to pay the price to have a key made. Now, I will take my business elsewhere.P.S. This was not my first visit here, so my info should be in your system. As far as my family member, he gave his contact info when he dropped off my car, so maybe the person wrote it down incorrectly, or not at all. Yes, I did hang up after being placed on hold, which I could hear background talk, for 10+mins! I even said hello multiple times to try and get someones attention and never received a response. Its apperant, per Fields that this establishment has experencied and is experiencing its share of troubles internally, understanable. My issue here is customer service has to be #1, no matter what and that I did not experience here. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Never ever have anything done here if you could help it. Im on a week long training for the National Guard 4 hrs from my home. As i was driving after our work day was over my alternator went bad and need to be replaced. Was charged 266 dollars in labor alone to replace it with. Said i was marked for 2.4 hrs of labor from evaluation to completion. It takes maybe 15 minutes to figure out if a alternator is bad another hrs or so to replace it. Get out of my face. I spoke with the manager and he said they actually cut me a break on labor hrs because they did some ac vacuum and recharge which normal takes 1.4 hrs. Thats something they use machines to do while they can work on other stuff so thanks for not ripping me off more. Fun fact im only getting paid about 700 bucks for the week of training so thats almost all my pay gone to replace a 216 dollar part. Also they refused to give me a break down on paper of what the labor intelled. (Try to defend that)Im sure some intern or some joker will want to reply to this request trying to defend their bs. Dont bother.

Very friendly and kind, Iwas blessed that I was able to get financed. What I was diappointed about was sinse they had me by the nads they wouldnt drop the Total price of $300.00.Then gave the lowest in my trade in and they advertize that no one gives more for your trade ins.My trade in was worth at least $975.00 but they only gave me $500.00. Instead I had to sign a promissory note for the money and come back to pay in three weeks in which is a 80 mile round trip. A family of 6 couldve really used a break.
Appointment at 11:30 am, finally finished oil and tire rotation at 2:30.
