He did a very poor job on my sons truck, did not fix this issue, and now the truck is in need of a new engine because he drove on it despite repeated requests to have Wayne check on the truck. He kept the truck for extended lengths of time and did not fix the problems we were having. Additionally he put through something on our warranty of another car we own (in June) and did not complete the entire job reported to the insurance company. He told us he would owe it to us. He now does not return our calls. I have reported him to the BBB and am contacting the insurance company he committed this fraud against.

I recently purchased a 2000 Honda CR-V and was thinking it needed an Axle replaced and a whole list of other things. I read reviews on shops in the area and found Waynes shop among a few others with good reviews. I made a few calls and no one answered until I called Wayne. Dropped my car off after work and got a call from him right before I left work the next day telling me that everything was good and that a few things needed to be tightened. It wasnt even the axle! He is very fair and honest and only charged me for labor on the time they took diagnosing the issue and looking the car over. Great experience and I found my new go to mechanic.

Went to this place after checked all the good reviews.... Took my recently purchased used car for a General check up to be sure there was no issues with it, and they told me the car have some rust, nothing major, and I have to change the rear tires... but in general all was good with my car they even told me that I can even take a long road trip with no issues. This chek up cost me $70 and I am very disappointed with Tip Tpp Toys, they did not check up my car correctly ignoring very important issues in the car that can cost me high dollar amount repairs in the furure and this was the idea of taking the car for a check up to avoid/prevent costly repairs...... I took the car to another mechanic and they took me out to the shop the car was on a lift to show me under the car and find out that the rear shocks needs to be change rusted, oil is leaking thru the valve cover gasket obviously this is not a new leak, you can notice is leaking for a while so it needs to be change, timing belt needs to be change, a tuneup was suggested and change the rear tired was suggested too.

Ive been seeing Wayne and his staff since 2004 and I will not take our vehicles anywhere else. He is an honest & highly knowledgeable mechanic and only advises on fixing what is necessary and gives a heads up on potential issues that can wait. His pricing is extremely competitive.Wayne is a rarity and we live in Hudson so its a little bit of a pain to have our vehicles serviced in Clearwater, but it is SO worth it when you have a quality honest mechanic!

Brought our Volkswagen Passat in because oil was leaking into the radiator and we had oil leaks. Wayne told us our VW Passat’s engine block was cracked, so I might as well junk the car. This was after several appointments charging me thousands of dollars trying to fix the car.So I took the car to the VW dealer to find out the engine block was not cracked at all and the issue was only a gasket at or near the thermostat.Also Tip Tip installed a plastic oil dip stick guide as a so called fix for another oil leak. We had more leaks after the work from Tip Top, so we took the VW into another place for service. They found the leak was coming from the plastic part Tip Top installed. They replaces that part with a new VW part and our oil leaking issues have been resolved, no thanks to Tip Top.We have taken our car to Tip Top for a few years prior to this problem, thinking they were doing a good job. But they took a lot of money from us to not resolve a problem that another service provider fixed in one visit. Don’t take your German car to Tip Top, you will be sorry eventually.
