My morning began with a failed battery in my car. Being a AAA+ member, I called for assistance and they assigned Pinellas Auto Body and Service to fulfill my request. Gabriel showed up a reasonable amount of time later with a smile on his face, and an eagerness to fix my problem. His work was quick, efficient, and the job of installing a new battery was completed in no time at all. He maintained a professional and respectable attitude and also proved to be quite personable. I have yet to use other services they may offer at the shop because I just became aware of their existence today. But this five star review was well earned by their field service tech Gabriel. If hes representative of others that work with this company, then of course they would all get five stars. I definitely would not hesitate to give them a try. Thanks for the great service Gabriel. From tow and lite services, to mechanical and body work. Not to mention, discounted services through AAA. Each member of their staff demands excellence in whatever the task. Organized, punctual and meticulous. They set the foundation with standards, that you would expect from a company with 35 years in the works. Friendly staff, thorough service. Cant ask for much better.

Took my truck here to get my front bearing replaced because that was obviously the issue. They suggested I get numerous things that were not needed and wanted to charge $1,500 for all USED parts. I took it to Mills Brothers Auto who fixed it the next day for less than a third of what Pinellas was charging. I highly suggest going somewhere else for good, honest mechanic work because these guys will try to upsell you and make you wait.

Alan, the Service Manager is great. Ive met a lot of people in this industry and he stands at the top. Runs a tight ship that does business the right way. You wont be disappointed if you get your vehicle services at this AAA approved facilty. Solid warranty and discounts for AAA members.

After taking my vehicle to the dealership service department 2 different times and even to another company 2 different times, a total of 4 trips and $ wasted by other people not knowing what was wrong and replacing parts... The last time I had my car towed the driver recommended I bring it to their place. Right off the bat they dived into my engine and took it apart and solved the problem. My starter was not installed all the way in. Every other place was too lazy to take my car apart to see what was wrong and I appreciate the heck out of Mark and everyone else there for the great service! Extremely happy and satisfied. A few weeks ago I brought my car in to have a repair done and an oil change, which I paid for.This was not correctly done with further damage done to my car as a result of their initial repair. I already did a review of the poor work done by Pinellas Auto Service.Yesterday my oil light came on. The oil change place confirmed that no oil change was actually done.Pinellas Auto Service has done poor work amd I recommend using another shop until they address their lack of quality and unethical services.

I love to support family owned local business. I’ve had my car their multiple times. The employees are very kind and respectful. My car was done on time and they called me with updates on my car. I highly recommend this shop to anyone.

These guys did an AMAZING job! God forbid Im ever in the same position and need a repair shop but if I do Pinellas autobody is second to none! They understood what my car meant to me and treated it as such! 10/10 would recommend to anyone anywhere. I shipped my car all the way from Tennessee just for their quality and expertise and I am so happy I did so.

Outstanding!!! There really are no words to describe how wonderful everyone is that work here. From the men (had to get towed FIVE times this year) and each and every time they were patient kind and went to far lengths to help me and even joke around to make a crappy situation so much better. To the great staff there to answer your calls. They have always provided a great estimate and the two times i needed to get work done i have been so pleased. Would highly recommend.

The people there was a nice. I just cant understand why AAA would want them to look at it brand new vehicle. Before you get insurance. Its a waste of time to drive there them to look at it and say have a good day its not their fault AAA needs to fix their policy this is my opinion but Ill give you guys five stars for looking at it.

I made a lot of mistakes in this particular incident. All were my fault, but these guys were fantastic. My tow truck driver was completely helpful and down to earth (even helped me to find rhe answer to one of my mistakes). They took my truck to their shop, against what I really was hoping for (again, my mistake re towing and AAA). Convinced I needed a new alternator, and expected the cost, they fixed my simple problem, charged my battery, and changed my oil for $113. They could have replaced my alternator, or not have even changed it, and charged me $300+, and I would have paid, but they didnt. Good honest repair shop. I still am loyal to my guy, but this is clearly my second or another recommendation for others. Thanks!

Didnt get my problem fix paid $100 bucks for literally nothing. Called to see if they can look at my car since the problem wasnt fixed and they seriously ask me for more money to just look... why did I even pay you money in the first place. I honestly want my hundred bucks back. I had to take it to another mechanic and pay more money but at least I left with the problem fixed.

Grateful to Garrett, service tech at the #AAA Approved Pinellas Auto Service for his prompt and professional response and towing yesterday (May 21, 2019) in Clearwater. I was among the dozen or so drivers whose vehicles were damaged by what turned out to be a solid steel trailer hitch assembly in the middle of the road. Blew out both my right tires and unfortunatly bent my wheels...but thankful for the great service experience! I summoned AAA on their AAA Mobile app and Garrett arrived probably 20 minutes later. He prepped and loaded my 2015 Hyundai Sonata like a true professional and had me at Fitzgerald Hyundai in just a few minutes. You could tell by the interaction that Fitzgeralds staff knew him and respected his professionalism. Thank you, Garrett, Pinellas Auto Service and AAA!

After being told by the AAA tow truck driver this was a reputable napa repair center with competitive pricing I decided to give them a chance. Having known my clutch was due for service I asked for a quote. I got the run around saying that they needed to diagnose the initial problem with the clutch hydraulic line, After paying an hr labor, shop fee, and parts i was still charged a 65$ diagnoses fee (B.S). The estimate on clutch replacement (1700$) was at least 3-400 more than any local shop. Only at the last minute did Mark attempt to negotiate the repair cost. 5 days later I now have my vehicle at a reputable shop that doesnt charge hidden fees or crazy mark ups on so called factory oem parts. Dont get taken for a ride and avoid this place at all costs.

I had the fortunate encounter with Hiram Perez on 3/4/17 when my car broke down. One of the ball joints broke and there could have been compounding problems with trying to get my car up the ramp of the tow truck. However, Hiram mitigated the problems by working hard and doing everything possible to lessen the damage. Because of his expertise, there was no damage done and I was able to repair my car without further expense. Because I know nothing about cars, I was gravely concerned about a broken ball joint. Hiram even went so far as to go underneath my car (on a very hot day) and take pictures so I could see what he was talking about. I would recommend Hiram/Pinellas Auto Body as your #1 place to call when you have car trouble. Well done Hiram!

My AAA battery died with not quite 2 months left on Warranty ! AAA suggested I try Pinellas Auto, even through I was no longer a AAA member, they still honor their warranty ! This shop was professional, courteous and what service !!! They took at look at warranty and had new battery installed in 15 minutes ! It doesnt get any better !!!

I found a plastic bag covering 2/3 of my air filter after getting a tune up at PAS.
