A true mom n’ pop oasis in the desert of coffee chains that dominate this area. Kind employees, great coffee and local products, and a cozy “coming home” atmosphere. Plenty of dairy-free options, but note there’s a $3 minimum if paying with card. Wish they had evening hours, but it’s always nice to start a weekend morning here.

Their coffee was delicious... I was slightly disappointed that I was charged for refill on a plain black coffee but I understand why they have to do it.

Such a pleasant and beautiful cafe! This is exactly what the neighborhood needed. The prices are very reasonable and the pastries were delicious! They even gave us a free slice of cherry pie!My only gripes are that you close too early and are closed Sundays. My wife and I would love to make this place our new study area on a weekend evening.

Honestly I was surprised, I looked up small coffee houses and decided to go here with my fiance. Not only were they kind about my allergy they were super accommodating. My fiance loved his coffee and the muffins are delicious. Couldnt be a better start to our Friday morning!

I grew up around Colerain and when I was in the area I saw this little coffee shop. I googled it and saw that it had a 4.9 rating. I had never seen a rating that high and immediately thought yeah, right. Being a coffee shop junkie I had to visit. Now I get it. The coffee was just right and the 2 folks that waited on us were friendly and gave good service. I had 2 coffees and a cookie or two...maybe three...dont judge me. The building was perfectly clean. The little seating area was cozy and warm. I will return every time I am in the area.

Hands down the best thing that has happened to White Oak in years. This coffee shop, located in a renovated house, is bright and clean and welcoming. The owner is amazing and greets me by name when I come in. And their coffee is amazing! I typically get a cappuccino, but Ive also had their drip hot coffee and iced coffee. All are wonderful. They also have a great assortment of yummy treats.

I get so spoiled that this amazing coffee shop is just down the road from my work. The shop is always super clean, and the staff is always so nice and of course the coffee is just perfect.

Came today to get a little bit of schoolwork done. The staff were super welcoming and friendly, gave recommendations on the coffee, and were very accommodating to me and my service dog in training. I had a Whirlbird Steamer which was delicious, and a Hudy’s Delight latte that was amazing! Highly recommend ☺️

Great coffee and pastries. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about all of their coffee and food there, as well as their rewards program. They even did a little latte art. Very clean with many windows allowing for lots of natural light. This combined with the thoughtful decor makes for a cheery, welcoming environment.

Today was my second time going into WOCH. And I was not disappointed. I’m a coffee lover and this place has a life customer! Staff is super friendly. Like I said it was my second time in and they new my face and new what my order was the day before. I also purchased their chicken salad today... WOW! So delicious! Great little spot right on the main drag in White Oak. Pretty sure it used to be a house thats been converted to a coffee shop so its a neat set up, but about as much seating as could be expected from that. Helpful staff, and I definitely enjoyed my drink. Will go back soon!

Cozy house up off Cheviot Rd . Shares a parking lot that is large and easy to navigate off of Paramount Ridge Lane. Friendly, good coffee, clean, bright and has salads and sweets. Everything I need in a coffee shop!

I am very sad to have a low review of this shop.OVERALL: Wonderful environment, warm and welcoming hometown feel, both in decor and staff to customer interaction. The drinks leave much to be desired.PROS: There is a true sense of community from the moment you walk in the door. The decor is warm and inviting. They have a variety of local products for sale and an active Pay It Forward program where customers can pre-pay for someones coffee (Love it!). Lovely variety of pastries and drink options (coffee, tea, and smoothies). Free wifi is available and plenty of space to sit. The building is a renovated home, and the homey feel has been maintained in the design. There is plenty of parking in the lot and the staff seem to recognize repeat customers.CONS: I am rather disappointed in the quality of the drinks. I first went on their opening day, ordered a iced vanilla latte with soy milk. With the opening day crowd I expected to have a little wait, but I consider 15 mins for one drink a bit long (though not surprising since the workers had to ask what an iced latte was). I gave the benefit of the doubt (perhaps it was just opening day craze) and promised to return after a couple months of them settling in. Sadly, second visit (ordered hot pumpkin latte with soy) yielded similar results. My coffee was very obviously burnt both times. Their smoothies are made with liquid from a carton and ice, which is more of a slushie than a smoothie. As an eco-minded person, I am also sad that there is no incentive for bringing your own mug. Many other local shops will charge a lower price or discount when you bring your own mug (even Dunkin Donuts will only charge you a coffee refill), but my 16 oz pumpkin latte with soy in my own mug was $6. I dont mind price for quality, but when quality lacks, its just disappointing.SUMMARY: Visit for the environment, not the drinks.
