Coffee, price, and service 10/10, hence the 3 stars.. However...They got rid of wifi and have very few tables. I have been to cafes at every corner on earth from London to Hong Kong to Seattle and I have never found one without wifi.I overheard some others discussing it, and apparently theyre trying to prevent people from coming in and working (people like me). Dont call it a cafe, then. Call it a coffee club if its just a social space. For me, this is a serious issue because I work from home and need spaces to get out for a change of scenery. Cafes are usually reliable for that.Otherwise, its a great place and can recommend for those seeking conversation instead of quiet.
Solid coffee and pastries. Great place to hang out, esp out back. Highly recommended over Starbucks etc.One suggestion tho - they need to open before 8am (7am?) β¦canβt get my coffee before work. Missing out on a LOT of business not opening earlier.
Always great. The speciality/ seasonal drinks consistently amaze. Every barista is polite and helpful if your having trouble deciding. Always having savory AND sweet snack options also adds to the awesomeness.
I love this place! Their espresso and other drinks are so good, and they are efficient and friendly. The management was very accommodating when we arranged for one of the baristas to come to our family event at the Findlay Market Farm Shed, take orders, and deliver the drinks to us.
Drinks were great; lovely atmosphere. #vanlife vibe was cool. Only complaint is that it took a good 20 mins to get our drinks. Donβt mind waiting for a great cup of espresso, but the line wasnβt long enough to warrant the wait time. Will be back next time Iβm in the area.
Always receive excellent service, very kind and helpful staff. It can be difficult to go places with a toddler but the staff here are so sweet and make both myself and my son feel welcome. Had the best cappuccino Iβve ever tasted on my most recent visit. Highly recommend any of their locations.
This is my favorite coffee spot in Cincinnati--a slightly hidden gem cozily tucked into quaint Pendelton. The ambience, the attention to detail, the warmth of the staff, the quality of the coffee--all 10/10. My only lament is the limited hours--I would love to spend evenings reading a book here!
The coffee here is the bomb. They control roasting and grind the coffee at the perfect moment for optimal flavor. If you live in the tri state area and like coffee, get one here. These guys are pros. Not like big chain Star-whatever that work beans that have travelled half-way across the country in hot rail cars. This coffee is brewed at the right time the right way. Best cup I have had in a long time and I am getting a second cup right now.
I was here the other day trying to figure out how to get my car towed to a dealership. I was tired and confused and the two people in the store gave me advice, talked to me, let me figure out my thoughts and use a landline to make multiple calls. On top of the kindness, the coffee was great and the look and feel of Urbana Cafe is even better. Go there and spend your money - good people and good coffee.
In and out with quick and friendly service, good experience with decent tasting coffee drinks.
Cute coffee shop with pastries-. Some sweet, some savory. Dog friendly. There is outdoor seating on a private patio.
Stopped in here to kill an hour, while perusing options in OTR. Had an excellent caramel latte and pistachio pan au chocolate. Latte tasted just as good as it looked. Nice quiet atmosphere, great for some conversation or reading/productivity. Will definitely be back to sample some other options in their pastry case.
Love this place! The coffee is great, although a heads up, it will be more expensive than if you go to Starbucks. The cold brew is amazing. If youre hungry, the breakfast sandwich is the best, or the ham and cheese croissant if you want something lighter.
Love that this place is a short walk from me, always friendly and speedy and just a very chill, welcoming atmosphere. Love everything on their menu, but lately have realized that they make the best Vanilla Latte Ive had from anywhere. My dog also loved their doggy biscuits and would often want to go in, even if they were closed!
I really enjoyed the Espresso 101 class. The class was 2 hours long and almost entirely hands-on. Daniel, the owner, worked directly with me. We explored details about grinding beans, pulling shots, and steaming milk.I thought that I already knew a bit about making espresso but discovered there was so much more to learn. I came home ready to take my lattes to the next level.
The coffee is AHHHMAZING! Staff is always nice, never makes me wait long and ALWAYS makes a fantastic latte!
Wonderful coffee! I loved the coffee! Such flavor to every sip! After going to the cafe i decided to check out where they roast the beans, which is at finly market in OTR. It was Awesome! I highly recommend going if youre looking for some really good coffee! I inly had the house blend, looking forward to trying others. Such as the espresso, very soon!
Fantastic Vanilla Latte! Staff was great, too. This is my first time exploring Cincinnati and I asked for advice on what to do while I waited on the art museum to open and the woman working was incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful! I hope to come back to Cinci soon! This will definitely be a stop on my list.
Whether its for a romantic date like mine was or a business conversation this place has got your back. Great drinks wonderful atmosphere with three different rooms for seating, the room in the back is a lovely shop with homecraft goods like soap candles and other things like that.I forgot to take a picture panoramic of the middle room but its really awesome for working on laptops or having business meetings.
Killer lavender latte;
My new go-to coffee spot on the weekends. Its become my special treat to come here after a long week at work. Location is fantastic, its nestled quietly in the small side streets of the city and yet super easy to find and get to. The decor is inside is very modern and up to date, love the feel of this place. Their menu is pretty standard for a coffee joint but they do it right. I always get the iced vanilla latte and its amazing every single time. Not at all like Starbucks where its hit or miss every time you order, not to mention its less expensive! The ham and cheese croissant is also to die for, cant wait to try more of their baked goods. To top it off this place is dog friendly which is great for dog owners like me who want to pop in for a drink and a bite to go on their way to take their dog to the park just down the street. Love the staff as well, Trevor and Megan are the best!
First time in Cincy and I tried a couple of coffee shops and this was by far my favorite. I travel frequently through cities of all sizes and all over the US and Im always seeking out the best coffee. To me the best coffee is about quality of milk, grind, pour, customer service, and ambience. This place succeeds in all those areas. This is the best mocha Ive had in months. Perfect creamy milk (they use a great brand that is a bit different than everything else so it is super cream), just the right amount of chocolate and perfectly roasted espresso. To top it off everyone who works there is friendly, theyre excited to have you there, and they want you to love your experience. I met the owner and it was wonderful to hear more about Cincy from his perspective. Its also very dog friendly and they make killer sounding bagels and other baked goods I wish I had been hungry enough to try!
Bad attitudes of the baristas at the Findley Farmers Market
Amazing environment, one of the best coffees I have ever tried, great people, completely recommended.
Coffee dripped out of both cups and left puddles in the cars cup holders. After visiting coffee emporium for years I wanted to give these guys a try. Also they donβt have straws in any form, not even paper. It was ehβ¦
Urbana coffee hit the spot! It has a very unique flavor that I believe most people are either going to love or hate. Its a risky blend, but that risk sets them apart from many other breweries. Either way, its clear that the care and attention put into the processing of the coffee is beyond phenomenal. The staff is wonderful and the vibe is great. Dont forget to get a pastry when you stop in.
I usually go to the one at Findlay Market. The staff is knowledgeable, polite, and super chill. The Americano is delicious, along with all their espresso drinks. I am a sucker for their coldbrew.
This coffee place is a gem! Came here to get some work done. To my surprise, they have one of the best pastries (doughnuts) and coffee Ive had in a while! They offer a good variety of pastries and they all look fresh. The strawberry doughnut was my favorite. The ambiance is chill & relaxing, and the staffs are very friendly. Will definitely be coming back.
Great ambiance, great pour over, friendly baristas. I want to spend all day in there. Go get some coffee at Urbana!
Fast, efficient, and courteous service. This place has a great atmosphere. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.
The staff were nice and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, The hot chocolate here was not good.
Great coffee shop for lounging a bit or to grab & go. Its small, so Id go early in the morning if youre trying to meet someone for coffee, but if youre by yourself, you can sit on the high tops up top. Employees are friendly & the coffee is good. I love that the parking lot is just next door along with restaurants all around it. If you want to try something local, its a good downtown option.
The baristas were friendly and the pastries were fantastic, but definitely a more expensive place to go.
Great ambiance and the best cold brew in Cincinnati IMO. This cafe isnt in a mainstream or busy area but the cafe is spacious with a bar upstairs and an outdoor seating area as well. My friend also ordered the chai tea latte and that was also REALLY good. We also ordered a pear tart which was super good as well. Their atmosphere and quality is on the nose and I will definitely be returning once I am back in Cincinnati. The staff are also friendly and they seem to fit the overall environment.
Ive always been impressed with the location and the welcoming environment. I only had a very short window of time to be in there the other day and it was a perfect real quick visit. To have something nice and pretty and welcoming in King Lincoln is something that I treasure. To be directly across the street from the King Lincoln
This place is awesome! One block from my house and they are usually so friendly. I go here all the time for work meetings and to work, and its peacefully busy. They always have great baked goods as well, and its dog friendly!!
Small coffee shop with great coffee
Nice owner and employees. $4 endless cup of coffee, and both choices to pour are very good. The specialty coffees are awesome, too. You get a real feeling of home, the place is welcoming and homey. Dont go without trying some of the baked goods, they are really tasty!
Best cafe 8n town
New favorite coffee shop. There are plenty of plugs and seating too be able to work for hours. The coffee is fantastic also.
Came here to wait for a friend who was running errands in the vicinity. After reading some of the reviews I opted for the vanilla latte. The coffee was excellent! Smooth, rich, flavorful. They had a wide selection of pastries which I didnt get to try. The ambiance was great with a relaxing interior. The only downside was the limited seating. I couldnt find a place to sit right away. Will be coming back to try their pastries.
The baristas here are so wonderful to work with. I have never interacted with a staff member that was not very knowledgeable about what they do. They educate you about every experience. This is the best coffeehouse I have ever visited.
Dessert was delicious. This place was awesome. Atmosphere was good. Great services. Coffee was good.
Great coffee with wonderful and strong flavors. I had the cold brew and liked it a lot. It was pretty strong so its not for the faint of heart but I love strong coffee so I thought it was great. The also have a good assortment of baked good here as well. Plenty of space to work if you want to have some coffee with reading or studying. Overall nothing bad to say about this place.
Great coffee, food but even more important, WONDERFUL SERVICE!!!! New place I visit almost every Sunday. Cozy and warm atmosphere.
Nice little quite coffee shop with fantastic espresso. Love the decor and the vibes of the place. Super friendly staff and surprisingly good pastries. Highly Recommend.
I love this cafe. Its a nice quiet place to sit down with a cup of coffee and do some work. I got my standard cappuccino, which was delicious. Im looking forward to my next cup of coffee from them!
I enjoy going here. The baristas are always nice and easygoing. The coffee is delicious. I havent ordered any food, but I remember sitting next to someone one time that did! So I guess they have food options as well? How cool!! This is a great study spot, especially with their little loft area upstairs. They also have outdoor seating for the warmer days that are soon to come!!
Amazing coffee, super friendly people everywhere workers and others. Vibe here is chill if you can snag a seat before they are gone great spot to grab a coffee or a delicious scone and study or work.
Fast and friendly home delivery of very fresh coffee is next level.
Great place if you know good coffee. Friendly knowledgeable barista. Good atmosphere with an outdoor patio. They dont have full meals but do have tasty pastries. Planning on going back as soon as Im living downtown.
I love their house blend coffee. They sell their house blend coffee in bags for home use. This is a well kept coffee house and is friendly to dogs.Go have a tasty cup of coffee. You wont regretted.
BEST espresso and a great take on their cortados as mini caps. One of my favorite coffee shops in an amazing city. keep it up!
Great little cafe. Drinks are good, barista is friends, very clean and aesthetic. Wifi wasnt very good however, so had to adjust the work I planned on doing. Will certainly return next time Im in town!
Love the place! Its an amazing place to work. Wish it had longer hours. Love the coffee too
Delicious coffee, house made pastries and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? Lots of space to sit and work on a laptop. Wifi is reliable. GREAT staff.
Kenyan coffee was really good, and aromatic. Banana bread added the extra flavor for a great afternoon snack.Location is amazing. I took the Connector from 4th & Main to 12th & Main and had a very enjoyable but short walk to the place to find a store stocked with a fair variety of different types of coffee.Service was very polite and helpful when it comes to recommendations.I have to try their Walnut Hills location to compare, but so far its one of my favorite places to get some coffee and relax.
I agree, the best espresso/latte around! Elizabeth is an incredible pastry chef. She also makes dog treats. Check it out! Cute, quaint little place.
It has a great interior.
These guys are really passionate about what they do. I bought a cortado and a bag of coffee. They took the time to educate me and explain how to create the best espresso at my own home. Really cool people and def the coolest intersection in the city! Come check Pendleton out!!
Hands down one of the best vanilla lates Ive ever had. The atmosphere is very casual and comforting. The pasties they have are delicious as well.
Great spot to work. They need to provide dark roast drip coffee though.
I love Urbana Cafe, not just its coffee but the vibe of the shop and their desserts are delicious. Just wishing there was more space, esp in winter, but iβm so excited to see them expand to another corner in OTR!!
One of my favorite places for a cappuccino and a little breakfast sandwich in Cincinnati!
Awesome coffee and the staff is great too!! I canβt recommend them enough.
Great place with some nice outdoor seating :)
The knowledge of the barista was refreshing. Thank you for making me a wonderful sugar free americano. She used SF vanilla and SF mocha with almond milk. Delightful.
Excellent espresso with a perfect roast (think no Charbucks) pulled at the perfect temperature and pressure. Great coffee!
I ordered a latte from Urbana cafe and it was absolutely delicious! The coffee was good and sweet, not too strong, and the service was exceptional. I arrived after they closed and they still waited on me
Stopped in for a cup of black and was additionally enticed by a selection of freshly baked sweets. The owner was present and extremely knowledgeable about his products, with a passion to match. Establishment was extremely well kept and clean as well.
Wicked, cool coffee vibes at this OTR cafe! Easy to park, right in the heart of things. Zen atmosphere. LOVE
Great place for relaxing and great coffee and music .Highly recommendable.
Excellent coffee. Good vibes. Nice motif. Welcome to the neighborhood! I will be visiting often. Looking forward to trying the pastries.
I got a delicious Caramel Latte from their mini coffee truck at the Findlay Market and was not disappointed! The staff was friendly and the coffee was delicious. Definitely plan on hitting this place up again sometime in the future.
Great coffee in a really trendy shop in the corner of the city. I really enjoy spending time here because its so easy to access yet you feel away from the rush of downtown.
By far the best tasting coffee in town! The new brick and mortar gives great ambiance to the whole urban Urbana experience. You will love every last drop and make this coffee part of your everyday. so good!
Great coffee and it has the best vanilla latte in Cincinnati! The newly added bagels are delicious as well. A must go for the coffee drinker in the Queen City.
Do yourself a favor and try this place. Certainly worth going back to. The place has an awesome atmosphere.
Great little place for coffee and delicious scone. Try Iced Vanilla Lattee its so smooth without being too sweet I had to order one more on my way out :)
Love the atmosphere and the coffee. Definitely worth visiting.
Great coffee and vibe. Parking a challenge (was construction). From-scratch pastries, knowledgeable baristas. High quality. Just tucked-off, and a bit harder to access. A hidden jewel.I will make a point to visit again, though. Ill park at or near Zeigler Garage and walk.
Husband waited at least 10 minutes for a cup of espresso. Asked the server (as she had come upstairs to deliver someoneβs order) whatβs taking so long for his order. βLot of people in front of himβ. There was maybe a dozen people, at the most, in the cafe. He waited another 10 minutes, finally told them to forget about it, and refund his ordeR. They gave him his cup of coffee, he came up to balcony. We both tried it, it was HORRIBLE. Tasted like the bottom of a coffee pot. As we were leaving, I put it on the counter, in front of server, and told her it was the absolute WORST cup of coffee weβd ever had!! Later on, I noticed they had refunded cost to my debit card. I can not seriously been the first person whoβs come to this conclusion. Bad service for truly the worse cup of coffee!!
....super clean and crisp atmosphere. Excellent coffee. Overall Ive always enjoyed myself.
This was my first visit, to this hidden gem, on Broadway. When you just want to sit back and relax. Have a caramel latte, and a almond croissant. Will definitely be back
