Its a fine place to walk for a coffee but the beans themselves are just ok.

Coffee is excellent. My favorite is their blueberry cobbler - I have bought the coffee beans and love getting a cup to go when they have it brewed as their flavor for the day. They have a good selection of dairy alternatives with soy milk, oat milk, almond milk, and coconut milk. I love getting a cappuccino or a chai latte with soy milk. Service is always friendly. They have some tasty pastries and baked goods. They have had tarts lately that have been absolutely divine (I had the pear tart and it was one of the best treats I have ever tasted). They have a wide selection of bottled wines. I have not been able to try their wines in house yet as I have only visited during covid. Highly recommend stopping in sometime!

Great shop with atmosphere and acoustics. Best time to come in is on Fridays and Saturdays when musicians come in to preform. Coffee is pretty good too, along with nice staff (I didnt get any wine because Im too young for it, but they have a tasty selection of cheese!). Will be coming back again with some musical friends soon.

Loved this place from the first taste. Ive had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. They have so many great reviews for a reason.

The website says they do wine by the glass, but that is not true. It also says they dont do a corkage fee. That is also not true. You can buy a bottle and they will open it for you for $5.

It was a hot Sunday afternoon, so looking for an inside place to enjoy. This little shop in the plaza had coffee drinks and wine. She had a great iced coffee drink, and I was able to enjoy a flight of red wine choices. The flight was a bit pricey but it allowed me to try four different wines. They have a large seating area inside.

Good coffee house and bar. In very walkable (and mostly chain free!) Hyde Park Square. I like that the coffee refills are self serve too. N ice sidewalk tables. Good prices. Nice selection of wine bottles to go too. Solid 1980s New Wave soundtrack (Jonathan Richman, Cure, Talking Heads) last time I went.

You wont be disappointed in the menu and service. Mood here reminds me of San Diegos scene.

I go here almost every night. The staff is wonderful! The live music on Friday and Saturday nights is just the right speed. I am not a wine drinker, but I have it on good authority that their wine selection is excellent. The staff and always willing to make solid recommendations on what to order. Great place overall. Highly recommended!

Such a cute coffee and wine shop with a great atmosphere. I got a latte that I really enjoyed and a slice of gluten free banana bread, which was delicious. I ended up eating mine and the one I bought for my boyfriend.The staff was polite too, the one barista chatted to me as he made my latte.Nice that they sell bottles of wine, I perused the selection and it seemed pretty expansive. Definitely like to try a bottle next time Im there.I especially love that they support local artists by showcasing their work, I think thats awesome. I would love to go back when they have live music for a glass of wine!

I have spent my morning here. Nice place, good coffee, and a relaxing atmosphere. I came here weekend and a bit crowded, so I ask you to go early if you are planning to go on weekends.

Great place to drink coffee on the square. Prices are a bit high. Can be overly crowded at random times with lots of single customers staring at laptops.

We love to go on the weekends to drink wine and listen to the bands. Staff is friendly. Prices of bottles are great. There is always room to sit and have a conversation.

Ive only been here once, but I enjoyed the experience. The barista was very nice, the coffee, at least the variety that I tried was probably better than its Starbucks equivalent, and the price was on par. They were even nice enough to let my niece refill her water bottle from their tap. The interior is a bit small, but still cozy and aesthetically pleasing. Overall worth a try if you like modern coffee trends.

Great coffee and wine selection. Four stars instead of 5 because I compare everything to Collective Espresso. This place is probably the coffee shop that appeals to more as they offer flavoring and a great espresso drinks. Maybe I shouldnt compare this place to Collective Espresso the more I think about it. Awakenings is a slightly different market. Awakenings offers drinks, greeting cards, wine, wine tastings, and maybe a cheese plate. I know they used to do a cheese plate, not sure if they still do. Awakenings and 1215 Are very similar in their offerings. The great think about Awakenings is every time Im in there I feel like Im in a small town. Not only is the staff friendly so are the clients. Changing it to a 5.

If although often crowd and sometimes running out of items in the middle of the rush which is understandable. The staff is always courteous and quick to respond to your needs. The coffee of the day is simply incredible some of the best brewed coffee in the city.

I love Awakenings but their information is all wrong. I drove from Toledo to enjoy some time here but they promptly turned me back around when I walked through their doors. Closing time online and on their door is wrong. Wouldnt have made the trip otherwise.

Its a pretty nice atmosphere. Its our first time here and I think its pretty great. Theres a local musician named Chris Behler who performs sometimes and hes pretty good so we definitely had a good time! We will return.

Awakenings is almost a daily stop for me, love the staff and the regulars. Ive made friends, played music, and closed many deals at this great little coffee and wine shop. I highly recommend it. Yes they have wifi.Im sure Ill see you there.PS. Love the new 360 degree inside view you have!

Coffee is very very good, just wish they had more variety when I get there on Friday evening, but I understand why they dont.

I have not had the wine but the coffee is good quality and there is a decent amount of seating space. It is more of a social coffee shop than a study place, so be aware if you are a student.
