THE place to go for a wedding dress. I cannot express how thankful I am to White Wisteria and the wonderful women there.White Wisteria made me feel listened to, special, and cherished. Their experience was leaps and bounds ahead of any other store I stepped into.I went to several stores during my wedding dress hunt (many well known stores in the Reading Bridal district and in Chicago) and nothing compares to the experience at White Wisteria. Other stores made us feel like just another number in their book and were just so so salesy (no one wants to be convinced to like their wedding dress!!!). Our advisor at White Wisteria was compassionate, personable, and receptive.I arrived with my mother and aunt, and our advisor, Beth, allowed us all to pick out some dresses we liked before making some selections of her own (other stores did not allow my family to help pick dresses together). She asked the right questions, and took note of what I was and wasnt liking. Then she pulled some dresses for me and it was like she could read my mind, and BOOM the perfect dress was there.I cant thank the White Wisteria team enough! Ill be sending anyone and everyone looking for a wedding dress here!!

I had the most wonderful experience at White Wisteria! My visit to them was my first time shopping for wedding dresses and I really didnt know what I was looking for. Alyssa was so great, very patient with me and not pushy at all, and let me try on so many dresses to explore different styles. They were also super accommodating when I stopped back in just before closing to retry on a dress I still had in the back of my mind. Ultimately I ended up finding my dress at another shop, but based on my experience at White Wisteria I cannot recommend them enough! They were very personable and made me feel super comfortable.

White Wisteria was nothing short of amazing from top to bottom and I was so hoping I was going to find my dress here the day I had my appointment because everyone was so nice and easy to talk to! My fiancées mom and I had been in a bakery the first time we ran into White Wisteria on the way out. We decided to peek our heads in to see if they would let us take a peek at some dresses to get a good idea and they even let me try one on since they had a cancellation that day which was so super sweet of them! I ended up booking my actual appointment a month later and had the pleasure of working with the beautiful, sweet Emily.Emily was probably one of the easiest, calm, and most amazing consultants to work with and I am forever grateful for her fantastic hospitality! Emily was relaxed, professional, and made me feel beautiful even when I began to sweat and stress out at the end. They even brought out some wine because I was so stuck on if I had found my dress or not. I am sure all of the other gals who work here are just as fabulous to work with too!! Unfortunately I did not find my dress here like I was hoping I would have, however, I highly recommend dress shopping here as you will absolutely love your experience especially if you are a ball of stress like I am! Upon arriving to White Wisteria I did not expect to find my dream gown, I didn’t expect to feel confident nor comfortable. I had a few gowns in mind from the website and after browsing the store I still wasn’t feeling like I was going to make a purchase the same day. Everything i was feeling completely changed when i met Beth! She found dresses for me that fit my desired style and fit! Dresses that i couldn’t quite squeeze into she made work, she made the time for me to find other similar options and helped me understand the structure of each dress. I have shopped around at many bridal stores and have NEVER received the care that I did today, with Beth! She made me feel so unbelievably confident, she lifted so many worries and ultimately gave me the absolute best possible experience. I would recommend this bridal expert to anyone looking. If I could leave zero stars I without a doubt would. I am the maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding. We were given a date that our dresses would be in to be picked up. The bride (my best friend) got a call literally not even a FULL 24 hours in advance of the date they would be picked up to say they wouldn’t be here until a WEEK before the wedding… however said that I work in this line kind of line of retail so I know the entire process of shortages and communication between plants/factories to their dealers. So I know it is completely absurd that it took this long for their to be communication from the store to the bride. These dresses should have been shipped by the latest a week before they are supposed to be in. The fact is that this store had this information and for whatever reason waited until literally the last minute to communicate any issues. Poor customer service. Shameful even. I am contemplating seeing if the better business bureau could possibly make it to were this doesn’t have to happen to another bride again. I’ve never seen my best friend so mad/upset. I hope you all feel ashamed. One phone call with enough time in advance is all it would have taken..

The staff at White Wisteria Bridal Boutique is AMAZING. They are helpful, responsive and super attentive. I couldnt imagine working with a nicer group of people to help make our special day even more special. They are the BEST!

What an amazing experience. Truly. I was very nervous at the beginning of the day, having three appointments and never having dealt with wedding stuff before, I didnt know what to expect. Beth was my consultant and what a lady!! She made me and my whole group feel so welcome and at home, we talked as if we were old friends and she helped me find THE one! Even the other consultants that would come over to see how we were doing were all so friendly and knowledgeable. White Wisteria was the second of my three appointments and there was no pushing for a sale, which I really appreciated, because Beth was more worried about me finding my perfect gown no matter where it was. She even called the third store to see if they would take me in early! Overall extremely positive and Ive already recommended it to all my friends. Thank you Beth!!!!!

Highly recommend! Kaitlyn was amazing! I stopped in for their Anniversary Sale to look at $99 dresses; I didnt find a $99 dress but Kaitlyn was so helpful that I wanted to continue looking at more dresses. I felt no pressure at all to buy, but Kaitlyn found my dream dress and veil. I brought my 3 year old niece and Kaitlyn was so patient with her too! Thank you so much!!

If I could leave zero stars I 100% would. Their service & timeliness are basically nonexistent for future brides & their girls. Dresses were ordered months in advance & were supposed to be in this week so the girls would have enough time to get their alterations but turns out, their dress won’t be here until the WEEK BEFORE the wedding. Not to mention the brides dress came in several sizes bigger that what it was supposed to. Overall would not recommend to anyone.

When trying on dresses the staff was not prepared to help keep our modesty. The zippers were broken on some of the dresses and they did not sufficiently close the dress with clips so that our under garments were hidden. It was also very small and a little outdated with their choices.

I stopped in on a whim and the ladies were so sweet and so helpful. I found the dress of my dreams and was so very happy. They really went above and beyond my expectations. They made the process easy as well as enjoyable. 💜

White Wisteria provided me a WONDERFUL experience. After a flop at one bridal shop, White Wisteria was my next stop. Beth, my consultant was so sweet and so easy to work with. She made my experience the best ever and very special. Because of Beth, I said yes to the dress! Why it is so special is because during the weekend I visit- it was walk-ins only and sale dresses only. They had a great selection and I tried on some beautiful dresses but Beth could see I just wasnt 100% sure yet of EXACTLY what I wanted. So she took it upon herself to go get permission from the owner to get a dress from the non-sale stock for me to try on. She said she had to see me in the dress and I said I was on board. I try the dress on after approval from the owner to bring it out to the floor and I knew- it was my dress! Beth hand picked my wedding dress and that makes it all more special. I had no idea what she was bringing to the floor. The dress is everything and more-plus cottagecore! I was meant to go to White Wisteria that weekend for a reason and meet both Beth & Rene the owner. I had such an amazing experience here while finding my dress. All the girls that worked here were so nice and willing to help in anyway. Abby was the one who helped me both times I was there and she did a great job. She didnt care how many times I tired on a dress especially when I kept going back and forth between two dresses. I got my dress from White Wisteria Bridal Boutiqueback in August 2017 with my mom. Abby helped me find the perfect dress! She also showed me a necklace when I was there to give me an idea of how I can accessorize. My mom ended up giving me the necklace as a Christmas gift. I decided it was too much with the belt and the crown, so I had it sewed it into the neckline of the dress and it was amazing! It was the prefect dress for the perfect price. Thank you for all your help and contribution to one of my favorite parts of my day 🙂

I had a wonderful experience at White Wisteria! Emily helped me find the perfect wedding dress that I felt comfortable and confident in. The store had a great selection of all shapes, styles, and sizes. Covid precautions were followed super well and my visitors and myself felt very safe shopping here. The staff was lovely. All were so helpful and made my day everything I wanted it to be! The whole experience was stress-free, exciting, and successful. Just what every bride should want their experience to be! I traveled 3 hours to shop here and was not disappointed in the slightest. I would definitely recommend this bridal boutique to anyone looking in the Cincinnati area!

White Wisteria was hands down the best experience for shopping for a wedding dress. I had Beth helping me out that day and she was amazing. She asked great questions and made me feel comfortable and confident. I found my dress and loved walking around the large room full of mirrors, making me feel so special! 10/10 recommend for alternative brides. I first went to this boutique in January 2020 after spending hours scrolling endlessly through bridal gowns online in a panicked frenzy and still feeling like nothing looked right for me. I consulted with Leah and was very clear that I was looking for a non-traditional dress with unique details. She helped me find a beautiful champagne-and-white Modeca dress with multicolor pastel embroidery and details. When the pandemic escalated a month later, my fiancé and I pushed off our wedding date indefinitely and did not secure/purchase any wedding vendors or items due to the uncertainty of the situation. In early 2021, we decided to move forward with a small parents-only outdoor wedding ceremony and I called the boutique to see if the dress was still available. It had been discontinued, but they had and were willing to sell the sample I had originally tried on! I had such a positive experience with Leah the first time, that I requested her for the final fitting and purchase. She walked me through all of the small details that would need fixing (after all a sample can come with minor wear and tear) and helped me schedule my first professional dress alteration (also held at the boutique). I mentioned to Leah that I was trying to hand embroider my mothers wedding veil to repurpose for my wedding and was having difficulty using tulle on a hoop; she gave me some great pointers and advice that made this related project so much easier and workable. I am so grateful for their time and expertise - they have a very thoughtful and positive approach, and will make sure you feel comfortable and beautiful on your wedding day!

We had the BEST experience here. We popped in close to their closing time one evening and although they weren’t available to let my sister try on gowns they let us look and the receptionist marked down the gowns she liked on the rack. They called us the next day because they had a cancellation and we came to try on gowns and just every part of the experience was fantastic. Beth was wonderful and so personal, she felt like a good friend by the end of the process! We looked at other stores before returning and as soon as we walked in she knew who we were and which dress we were coming back for. By the time we were getting checked out we were even more so blown away by the rest of the staff gathered at the front chatting with each other and with us. Complimenting my sister, the bride, on her dress, and asking questions about her and her fiancé. Felt personal and special (they probably all wanted to go home but we couldn’t tell if they did) we spent the rest of the weekend talking about what a fantastic time we had and how well taken care of we were here.

I am a maid of honor and we scheduled an appointment for the bride here. We came out from out of town to come to the bridal district. It was an awful experience. We were not welcomed when we came in the building and it felt uncomfortable.The bride honestly found the one, but decided not to get it because Leah was pushing so hard to make a sale, it didn’t seem natural and the bride didn’t get to have the excitement she wanted. She told the bride she should not go shopping somewhere else, and that we would have to pay a rush fee for a November 2021 wedding. We went to multiple other dress shops this day and had wonderful experience with great sales members. I would not recommend White Wisteria.

I had an amazing experience at White Wisteria. I had made several wedding dress appointments the day I decided to look and had set expectations low since I wasnt sure I knew what I was looking for. The other two places I visited in the Reading Bridal district just did not have the level of professionalism, courtesy or care that White Wisteria had which is something that drew me back to their store.Beth was AMAZING to work with. She really listened to what I was saying about every dress I tried on and was able to pick a wide variety that matched what I was looking for. I think I tried on ~12 dresses in my 1.5 hr slot with her because she was so efficient and helpful. She helped me feel like I saw enough to know what I wanted but not too many to be overwhelmed in my decision making process.When I came back later that same day, she was able to fit me into her busy schedule which was really appreciated since it can be so hard to get all of your family/friends together to return for an appointment on another day. Beth let me try on the two dresses I was deciding between multiple times until I picked the one that I loved. She offered her opinion or advice when we asked, wasnt pushy and was truly a very warm, thoughtful person to work with. Her expertise empowered me to make a decision and feel very relieved and excited about it.Everyone else I interacted with in the store was just as welcoming and excited for us to be there. They have a wide selection of gowns that are all at reasonable price points and my experience there really made the day feel special. If youre considering making an appointment here, I would recommend it!

Leah was amazing and super friendly in a professional way. I did not feel pressured to buy my dress that I ultimately chose for myself.I went in scared because the first place I went to was pushy and wanted to have me try dresses out of my budget. The selection was well organized for easy navigation. From the dresses I initially chose and not happy with, Leah gave me dresses I was nervous to try on. BUT IT WORKED. The dress I went with was different than I imagined and felt so happy when I found the one. I cant wait for my dress to arrive!

White Wisteria was the picturesque place to buy my wedding dress. The inside is so beautiful, which really added to the experience but more than that, my bridal consultant, Riley, was absolutely incredible. She picked out some of my favorite dresses. She was so patient and sweet while also offering an opinion when I needed it. I bought my dress here the second time I visited and she remembered every detail of my wedding when I returned. I just felt genuinely comfortable making such a big decision. I never felt pressured to buy my dress there or to hurry through the process — I truly believe if I had indicated that I loved a dress from a different store she would have encouraged me to go elsewhere rather than trying to talk me into something I didn’t want. I WANTED to buy my dress from here because I had SUCH a great, genuine time.

I scheduled appointments at seven different bridal shops, but only ended up going to two of them. White Wisteria was the second. Their selection is amazing - at the first shop I tried, I had trouble finding dresses that fit what I was looking for, but here they had so many I liked that I had to go back a second time (and still probably could have found more dresses on a third visit)! Even though I am normally super indecisive and want to see ALL the options before making a decision, the dress I ended up with was so gorgeous I couldnt imagine finding something better elsewhere. Abby pulled some great dresses for me and was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process. She was really invested in making sure I ended up with a dress I loved (not just one I thought everyone else would like!) and didnt make me feel bad about trying on the same dress two or three different times to make sure it was the right one. I was really pleased with everything here, from booking to selection to service. If youre visiting the Reading Bridal District, look no further!

I went in last weekend and was upset at the service that my family and I received. I had been in the bridal district looking at various stores and I had made an appt here because of how great the reviews were. The lady who was scheduled to help me for my appointment was very unhelpful. She didnt pick dresses out of the racks for me after I told her the specifics that I wanted. She just told me to look through the racks and pick ones I liked. I even had to fill out a questionnaire before the appt and one of the questions I answered was that I wanted her help with picking dresses out. Then I couldnt find any dresses that were in my budget. I ended up with 4 dresses to try on and after the first dress I tried on she asked if I had found a dress at another store that I liked. I said yes that I had found a few and she said well you should just go and get it then. Some salesperson. She didnt clip up the dresses to make them fit me so one of my friends got up and held the straps so I could see what they looked like on me. Overall not a good experience. I understand with the virus they are being mindful but come on. If youre going to work in this industry you have to touch people. No bride is going to be able to envision herself in a dress without it being clipped and tight on her.

TL;DR: The consultants at White Wisteria are knowledgeable, fun, and genuinely committed to their clients. We’ve had two wonderful experiences and they have accommodated us even when a quick fitting turned into trying on bridesmaids dresses (and finding the perfect ones!).White Wisteria has been instrumental to helping identify and define my vision for myself and my bridesmaids. My first appointment to look at dresses was so productive and insightful. The consultant listened to our comments and selected dresses based on our ideas, but also used her own expertise to bring me dresses in styles I never would have picked but absolutely LOVED. She actually picked the dress we fell in love with and purchased - a dress I specifically passed on the rack! We placed my order and just recently went to pick it up. I intended to simply try it on and head out, but they also happened to carry the Sorella Vita bridesmaid dress I was interested in. I wanted to see how it looked with my dress and, while it wasn’t part of the plan, they were totally accommodating and brought it out for my Maid of Honor to wear next to me. We spent significantly longer than we intended (sorry!), but they ensured we had the help and time we needed (thank you!). Especially because I was able to see how the bridesmaid dresses looked and contrasted my dress, we were able to make a decision and commit that afternoon to the dress and color. Without the help and expert options of the consultants at White Wisteria I imagine we’d still be looking at options and have lots of questions. I look forward to the additional insight they will provide as we order dresses and get everyone fitted!Thanks again White Wisteria for such a great and low stress experience!

I came here because I had won a $1000 credit towards an allure gown. I came in very nervous because this was my first dress shopping experience but Beth made everything so much easier! She just let me go around on my own and use the clips to mark ones I liked. There was no pressure and she made helpful suggestions based on what kind of dresses she saw me picking. This place has a very nice atmosphere and a laid back staff from what I experienced today and I can’t wait to receive my dress in a couple months.

I had an amazing experience with White Wisteria. As a woman who doesnt wear many dresses and wasnt truly sure what I wanted or what would look best on me, it was a weight off my shoulders to have an experienced hand give me real suggestions. It was easy to be honest with my opinions and in the end we found a dress I truly fell in love with. No one was pushy; it was really about how I felt in each dress. In the end, we got my dress and my bridesmaids dresses though the shop. I couldnt have asked for a better experience from beginning to end and couldnt recommend it more to everyone!

I went to White Wisteria in hopes of finding the perfect wedding dress. Not only did I find that perfect dress but my consultant was absolutely amazing! She made me feel so comfortable and was so much fun to be around! Beth took everything I said into consideration and found exactly what I was looking for! She was so down to earth and really took her job seriously. She was bound and determined to help me achieve the look I wanted. Ok experience. Appointment was made for wedding dress ahead and type of dress was stated but they didnt have any ready. We had to search. Dresses are size 4 or plus size for trying on. Then found out the ones we wanted was being used by others...thats ok...but could have brought out when they was done. Nice selection of brides maid dresses.

First of all, Beth is an absolute angel!! She helped me ABOVE and beyond what a bridal consultant needed to and I could not be more thankful for that. I loved my experience at White Wisteria!!! The lady helping me put the same dress on me I swear 4 times and she never complained!! She made me feel great and listened to all of my requests (no matter how many times I contradicted myself) and we found the perfect dress!!! :D Cant go wrong getting your dress here.

My family and I had the best experience shopping for my wedding and bridesmaid dresses thanks to Beth and White Wisteria Bridal Boutique. We found the perfect dress during the week but came back on the weekend to purchase it along with the bridesmaid dresses. Although they were busy on Saturday, they still made us feel extremely valued and helped us out with everything!

I have been to splendid bridal a few times, all of which were AMAZING experiences. The employees are great and helpful. I fell in love with one of the first dresses I found there and decided to keep looking elsewhere. Turns out I just HAD to come back for it! Tara was great, I had her both times for my bridal appointments. They have a great selection of dresses too! Such a great experience overall.

Riley helped me and she helped calmed my anxiety. Luv her, can I tip her?! 😘 The dresses I tried on were elegant an beautiful of course. The stores atmosphere is perfect for the occasion.

Abby was the best consultant ever! She let me pick the dresses that I was looking for and was great at listening the details I liked in a dress. She was okay with me going and discussing the dresses I liked. She knew the two dresses I liked the most and remembered the color I was interested in. She looked up and saw that the dress I wanted came in the color I wanted and picked out the best veil for me. I would highly recommend.

Of all of the places where I tried on dresses, this boutique was by far my favorite (and consequently also the place where I found my dress)! My consultant was fabulous, and she even sat through a second appointment with me the day after my first appointment to help me decide between two dresses. The dress I got was well below the budget I had, and I would highly recommend this boutique to anyone!

I went to a lot of different stores and boutiques looking for my wedding dress but none of them were as great as my experience at Splendid Bridal. I made the appointment same day and they were willing to squeeze me in! Even though we had a short appointment, Leah was amazing. She was so sweet and made sure to stay near our budget while picking out all kinds of beautiful dresses. This was the first place we went, so even though I loved one of the dresses, I decided to keep looking. I just couldnt stop thinking about it though, so we came back and bought it! I wouldnt have changed anything about my experience buying a dress here. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience. We were greeted for our appointment and matched up with Rene. She was so helpful, and very respectful of our budget. I didnt have a huge budget but she made us feel like it was very doable. And she did! We felt like she was the only bride there! Thank you so much for making a very special day even better!

I loved Rene, the girl who helped me find my dress. They werent snooty like people at other dress stores I shopped. She was very willing to work with me when the dress was out of my budget. She seemed just as excited for me to find my dress as I was.

I cannot say enough good things about Splendid Bridal. The staff was very helpful and attentive! Overall we had a very pleasant experience. We went on a weekday and I would recommend doing that. When speaking to our stylist she said that weekends can get very chaotic for everyone. Overall I highly recommend Splendid Bridal!

I recently bought my dress from Splendid and couldnt be happier! Holly helped me through multiple appointments and a LOT of indecision, and she couldnt have been more wonderful! I never felt rushed or pressured and I always felt comfortable and significant. She did a great job calming my nerves and helping me find the perfect dress! I stopped in one day just to see what bridal gowns they had available, the woman working walked over to a rack with about 10 gowns on it and said this is what we have in plus size, she walked off and went to her desk. About 2 minutes later a young woman walked in that was more petite than myself, the same woman that walked me to the plus size rack walked her thru the store ask her all kinds of questions about what she was looking for, what designers she liked, when the wedding was, typical questions when you enter a bridal store. This store is not full figured friendly. I do not recommend this store to anyone.

I usually dont write reviews but out of the three shops I visited this one was the last on my list! The lady that (was supposed to) help us did not ask many questions about the style I was looking for or what Ive liked about other dresses Ive tried on throughout the day. She was definitely nice and polite though. I dont believe she even asked to see any photos of the style dress I was looking for. She told me to pick out 5 dresses and then try them on. She didnt recommend any dresses or pick any out for me to try on... She didnt do a good job at trying to get the dress to look right on me (because most were way too big). My future sister in law had to step up and pretty much do everything... I liked a dress here but the customer service was just subpar compared to some other shops I visited that day. The shop is laid out beautifully and has a very nice viewing area though. Also, our appointment was for an hour and after 35 minutes our consultant pretty much scooted us out of the fitting room area...

Good selection for a wider range of body types. Staff is very friendly and will do almost anything to help you find the right dress for you. They have an in house lady who does alterations who is fantastic.

I have never written a review for anything in my entire life, but I had SUCH a bad experience at Splendid Bridal that I felt the need to share with other brides and/or bridesmaids. I ordered all seven of my bridesmaid dresses through Splendid. They were very nice in the store and very helpful, but that quickly wore off after we actually ordered our dresses. We ordered the dresses before our given deadline to ensure they would be here well before the wedding in June. It is now mid-May and I STILL dont have the dresses. After calling several times, they finally told me that they actually put in our order WEEKS after we called them to place it. When I asked why the order was so late, they said it was because of snow (apparently, phones dont work for weeks when it snows for two days). Their most recent excuse as to why the dresses arent here yet is because one of them has a big stain on it that wont come out. Unfortunately for me, they ordered the dresses so late that I dont have time to get a new one - fabulous! They offered a half-off discount (woo hoo!) for a dress that THEY ruined. They have been very deceptive, they have had very poor communication and zero professionalism throughout this entire process. I am warning you - stay away from this place unless you want to have a breakdown right before your wedding!

The store looks beautiful and the dresses look beautiful. But my sales lady was mean on the inside and outside. She was rude and made me feel uncomfortable and inferior. I actually loved a dress there. But ended up finding another at a different store down the strip. They didn’t deserve my money after how that lady spoke to me and my family.

I went into Splendid Bridal the first Bridal shop and first time trying on wedding dresses. When walking in they said hello and asked what type of dress I was looking for after advising the type of dress I liked they did not help me but said just go look around and find ones you like and they would pull them. After not finding anything they showed me all the clearance dresses. I found a dress I thought I liked but after a week of having the dress with no alterations I was over whelmed and bought it because of the price. When calling to talk to the manger she did not give a S**t about me or that I was not satisfied with my purchase. She said you signed for it so its yours now. $600 down the tube to look like a blimp on my wedding day because their sales rep or no one in the store cared or helped or decided to listen to what I wanted for my wedding dress. Not to mention the manger hung up on after she told me to hold on because there was another call coming in I was nothing but nice never raised my voice but I got hung up on. NICE,,,, I will not be recommending anybody to this place! They do not care what dress you are looking for and rude as no other.UPDATE: Manger called me to see about my experience I explained to her what had happened. Thinking the manger might try to help me out guess I was wrong she called me again to ask me the same thing she did yesterday. So I explained again then she goes well since you gave us a bad review I am not helping you out. By the way your employee did hang up on me do not try to blame me for the mistake she did!!!!( If you would of helped me or even found a dress in my budget since I bought a dress I would have changed my review. I will be sure to let everyone to know not to come to your store if thats how you want to treat people)

We went to Splendid Bridal to look for a 1st Communion Dress and the consultant Jenny was beyond helpful even though she was managing several customers. She took time to understand a special family situation and pulled us several dresses to try, aside what was already out for display Once we got home and realized the dress did not match the veil (family heirloom) she quickly worked with us to get another dress shipped asap directly from the manufacturer. I tried several other stores in the Bridal District asking for little girl/flower/communion dresses only to be met with ... you should just go to a department store.. NOOO Splendid Bridal IS IT!!! Wedding, Prom, and Flower Girl. Thank you Jenny and Thank you Splendid Bridal for being so helpful and understanding.

I found my dream dress! My future MIL & I decided to go out to the Bridal District on a whim. We walked into a couple stores, but nothing was what I wanted. I wanted a Tea-Length dress & it seems as though that is unheard of. We were told at numerous places that we wouldn’t find one without having to buy it online. We went into Splendid & we were instantly greeted by Lynne & a couple other ladies (I’m sorry I didn’t catch their names)! Lynne pointed us to one of their very few Tea-Length dresses & despite it not being close to my size, I wanted to try it on. As soon as I stepped out I could tell by her face as well as my MIL’s that this was my dress. I was taken aback, it was the best experience. Lynne had me clipped, with a bouquet in hand, & a veil pinned into my hair in no time. I felt like a true princess. The price was perfect (dad didn’t say no)! I couldn’t believe that the FIRST dress I tried on was the one for me. Lynne was patient, interested in what I wanted, getting to know us, & made us feel like family. I’m a little sad that I found my perfect dress only because I need an excuse to see the ladies there again! Haha! Amazing experience, beautiful dress, inexpensive, genuine, & caring customer service. Five stars truly isn’t enough for me!

When I picked up my bridesmaids dresses the ladies told me to get the dresses to my bridesmaids as soon as possible. They needed to make sure they were the right size. If not, they said I could exchange them. After trying on the dresses, one of my bridesmaids dress was really big on her. So, I took her and the dress to the store. They saw the size 8 (too big) on her and size 4 (just right). Since she owned the size 8 they made some lame reasoning for the size 4 being too small. I was unhappy and my bridesmaid was unhappy. They did nothing to make matters better. They would not exchange the dress for the size she was comfortable in. Since their professional opinion was the only one that mattered, we left disappointed. On top of that, the measurements were wrong and they still would not fix it! They measured her over top of her sweatshirt!!! No wonder the dress was too big!!!!!!!!!

As a bride, budget, selection and know how are the main things we want when finding thee dress... This place hits 2 of those for the most part.The owner and his wife are super helpful and friendly, even when I showed up on Saturday afternoon without an appointment. They pulled dresses after gauging my personality and style that were great! She even had no problem doing the corset backs up so I could really know what it would look like. The fitting room has a long mirror and slight runway to really see the dress. As well as comfy couches for your guests.The part I wasnt crazy about was the pricing in a way. Their prices are super great! (under $2000 for the most part) but they just dont budge on them. Even Davids Bridal will knock a few bucks off to get the sale. Not here though.The great thing about this place though is their veils are way cheaper than anyone else and they have a great selection of them. The dresses, are all Maggie Solterro, and Allure. Not much outside of those.

Had an amazing time trying on dresses and didnt feel completely pressured to buy a specific one. They were nice enough to put aside for me until the end of day so I can go home and mull it over before finally committing to a dress!

Had the best service of all the bridal shopd I visited. Will be coming back soon to purchase my dress there.

I went into Splendid Bridal, thinking I just picked out my dress at the store prior. Since I had an appointment already, I thought, I should still be open minded. I was SO impressed!!! The lady who helped me picked out 4 dresses with the style I told her I had in mind. When I told her I thought I already found my dress, she said well see about that! The 2nd one I tried on- I knew THIS is the dress. I had tried on a dress 4xs the cost I could afford when I first started shopping and felt like such a princess and just accepted with my budget I wouldnt find anything like that again. I was wrong. I went ahead and tried the 3rd dress she picked and immediately went back to the ONE. We ordered the same day- another thing I wasnt planning to do that day. But when you find the one, you know. I am so happy and I cant wait until my dress comes in!!

THIS IS WORTH THE READ. To preface, my family and I traveled from far away to shop for my dress. While I drove 8 hours, my mom drove 12 hours, my sister flying in from Connecticut and my future sister in law flying in from San Fransisco - we were all very excited to have a weekend full of fun and finding the dress! I tried on a few dresses, felt a bit rushed, but knew I found THE DRESS! My consultant made another appointment for me to come in later that day as I was running out of time in my initial visit. We came back a few hours later to try on the two dresses I liked and to officially say yes to the dress. I then proceeded to find a veil to go with it- I was then handed off to another associate who seemed VERY annoyed to be helping us. As I was asking to try on more veils, she rolled her eyes as she had to go and get a new one. Feeling rushed yet again. I should have known from this moment I should not be giving them my business- but I wanted to remain positive and brush it off.The sample dress I had tried on in the shop was in the color Moscato. I was interested in ordering it in Ivory. The consultant pulled another dress and held it up next to the one I had on and said this is what your dress will look like in Ivory. I liked it, so thats what I ordered. Three months later I received my dress in the mail. So excited to open it, yet, I came to find a dress that did not look like the one I purchased. I was confused- I remember requesting it Ivory, so I did expect it to look different, but not anything quite like this. I went back to refer to the photos I had taken of me in the sample gown in the shop... It looked like a different dress to me. The beading was so dark (metallic)- I thought they had made a mistake and ordered the dress with different colored beading. My sister called and spoke with the manager- she said she would contact the designer and get back to us. She got back to my sister a few days later and assured us there is no mistake with the dress and that is what I ordered. She explained to us that the designer uses metallic beading/threading which can look very harsh and have a high contrast against Ivory. I explained I would have never ordered it in Ivory if I had known it would look this different, and would prefer it in Moscato. She told me unfortunately my consultant should have told me that, or showed me what metallic would look like over Ivory- but they could not do anything for me at this point. They could not order me a new one in Moscato. After many discussions- still nothing they could do- even though they admitted that they made a mistake by not explaining the beading to me before purchasing. I was devastated- thinking I was stuck with this dress.Luckily- a small shop in Rochester, NY carried the same designer. They did not have my particular dress but they HAPPILY took back my dress at full cost to order me a BRAND NEW one in Moscato at NO CHARGE! No questions asked! They just said they wanted me to be happy! Now.. how is it that this shop could easily take back my dress and get me a new one- where Splendid Bridal could not do a thing for me? I am so disappointed with my experience at Splendid Bridal.Thank you to Katherine Patricia in Rochester for saving the day.

By far the best bridal shop in reading on Benson street

I had an extremely pleasant experience when I first came here late august 2012. This was the 4th bridal shop that I had been to that day and they made the dress trying on feel like something you would see off of tv, which is why I decided to buy my dress from them. I ordered my Eddy K dress on January 12th, 2013 and was told that the dress would take at maximum 6 months to get in, which was fine because my wedding wasnt until October. June came and went no dress..... July came and went, still no dress..... By mid august I had made quite a few phone calls to them with no response back. So I went into the store and they said that the dress would be in the first week of September. Okay.... Second week of September I started calling again, and again no phone call back. My dress finally came in the third week of September, of course I got 2 phone calls the day the dress came in. I paid full price for the dress.Now I have less than a month to get the alterations I need done. Needless to say I kinda got screwed over on this deal.

Worst Experience in a Bridal Shop. I was trying to give Splendid Bridal a chance after hearing so many negative things about their shop...but the chance was taken away as soon as I walked in. I cant believe how badly we were treated. When we went in, we were totally ignored. This usually only happens in shops who employ uneducated people because we happen to be from Puerto Rico and our English accent isnt perfect. Do you want to feel rushed while trying on dresses? Do you want to be treated like a second-class citizen?Do you want your sale consultant to make snide comments about your heritage?Do you want to buy cheap, badly made dresses for way too much money?Then Splendid Bridal is your place for all of your Wedding Dress needs!
