I highly recommend Carrie Karibo Bridal Boutique! I had such a positive experience with the team over the last week. I am in a last minute wedding and needed a bridesmaid gown ASAP. In search for a black gown in a particular size I knew it wouldn’t be easy (keep in mind I’m also 7 months pregnant.) But Carrie and the team were so accommodating and ready to help they took all my stress away. They took my measurements and were able to order me the perfect dress and have it shipped to the store in exactly 7 days! The dress also fit me exactly how they promised it would and the fact that it came in a week was amazing. If you are in the search for a dress this is the first store you should stop in!

I had the most wonderful experience at Carrie Karibo. I went to 3 other Benson St. boutiques prior to my appt at CK - Lace Bridal, Bridal & Formal, and Blush Bridal. It was so lovely having my own room - all the other shops felt like a cattle call, primarily Bridal & Formal because I had an awful experience there.I felt special and listened to at this boutique because I wasnt pushed to try on a bunch of dresses, especially dresses I knew I wouldnt like. Luckily by this appt I knew exactly what I liked (and didnt) so it limited the search down to 4 dresses. The 2nd dress I tried on was one that my consultant picked out (still within the style that I liked, but I wasnt too sure about it) and I fell in love. I didnt even want to try on the other 2 dresses we had lined up and my consultant didnt question that. She grabbed a veil that they had just gotten in and it had the exact beading as my dress. Ended up buying a beautiful dress and veil - both well within my budget.The woman at the front desk was so sweet and fun. There was also another consultant who was grabbing a gown for another bride-to-be, but she stopped in the hall to say wow and how beautiful I looked in it. The dress itself has such beautiful beading and is made SO well. Out of the ~35 dresses (total from all stores) I tried on, it was very clearly the best made dress. Cannot recommend Carrie Karibo enough!

I recently went with my sister to a bridal appointment, and let me say, our experience at Carrie Karibo was less than pleasant. We had spent the whole day at bridal appointments and finished up our previous one about an hour early. Initially, the staff at Carrie Karibo were very accommodating and were able to take us in. We had a very lovely experience with the bridal consultant for the entire appointment. Things started going awry when the visiting trunk show designer, Jimme Huang, came into the room. My sister left with him and the bridal consultant to go pick out dresses. When she came back, she told me that when she was asked to show a picture of her preferred dress (found at another store) the owner Carrie immediately made disparaging remarks about it. She  pointed out a design in the beading and stated, When you notice it or someone points it out, its the kind of thing you wont be able to unsee. Jimme chose to agree and also made a negative comment about it. Despite the positive experience my sister had with the bridal consultant, she felt the experience was colored by her negative and only interaction with Carrie. If she hadnt this experience she would have actually considered purchasing one of the dresses she loved there.

Such a great experience overall. My sister got her dress here and raved about them. They went above and beyond and made sure she got her dream dress. And they did the same for me. I came in on a Monday, my wedding is on Friday and they helped me find a dress that felt it was made just for me, under budget, with alterations ready in time for my Friday wedding . I had never even been in a wedding dress before I came in and had NO idea what I liked. By dress 3 I knew it was the one. Thank you again for making it such a great experience.

I had a absolutely WONDERFUL experience at Carrie Karibo Bridal Boutique! Carrie and her consultants listened to what I wanted, worked within my budget, and from there it only got better! I found THE DRESS & I cant wait to feel like million bucks on my wedding day! Also, my mom and future MIL found their dresses, as well!5 STARS!!!

Of all of the places in the bridal district, Carrie Karibo Bridal was the BEST! I found the process of finding a dress overwhelming and the staff at Carrie Karibo was very patient with me and extremely helpful in finding a dress that was perfect for body type and style. They were also amazing in helping find dress styles that all of my bridesmaids would look beautiful in. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

I had the best experience at Carrie Karibo; my stylist Christine was knowledgeable about the designers they carried and paid such close attention to detail when I told her what I wanted.I found the “YES” dress, and it was beyond what I could have imagined. This was such a wonderful experience, and I can’t express my excitement enough to wear my dress down the aisle on my wedding day.If you want one-on-one service, the cleanest facility, and the most beautiful staff, look no further than Carrie Karibo Bridal and ask for Christine, she is incredible!

Im not usually one to write reviews, but I HAD to brag about this place and the ladies who work here. Courtney was the consultant I worked with and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was SO unbelievably patient with me and she really took time to get to know me and my style, so the whole time it felt like I was working with a friend. I felt like even when I was having a hard time verbalizing what I was looking for, Courtney continued to help me narrow in on the absolutely perfect dress. Carrie also offered so much help herself, and was so generous with her time and insight as well! Truly so grateful for this experience and these incredibly gifted ladies! Id recommend for any Cincy bride to look for a dress here!

My experience here was pretty disappointing. My budget was not super strict but I did want to stay around it. My consultant had no idea of the prices for any of the dresses. I had to pick out everything I tried on which is fine but everywhere else I had gone to, the consultant would at least make suggestions based off of what I was interested in. Her not knowing any pricing also made it difficult because I was picking everything out and she would just stand there and say oooh I dont know, lets look at the tag. At other shops if they pick the dresses they could at least go in the back and look prices up or something. I dont know if its a flaw in the system or lack of knowledge from the consultant but it really was pretty disappointing compared to other places I have gone to. Aside from all of that, the consultant was very standoff-ish and made the appointment very awkward. She gave no instructions, no guidance, made little to no comments on the dresses, just awkward silence making my party feel awkward as well. Im not sure if she wanted me to leave because I didnt have the highest budget but it should have been doable to accommodate from what I saw on their website. Not trying to attack her as a person but the appointment compared to many others I have been to was just really unenjoyable and honestly nothing compared to my time at Luxe Redux, Wendys, and Lace Bridal. 2 stars because it is a cute spot and very clean.

BEAUTIFUL selection of dresses, I was definitely drawn to their collection of Martina Liana gowns. I loved that during our appointment we had our own private room that was beautifully decorated and had gorgeous lighting. There were curtains surrounding the pedestal area that you close when changing into dresses and then can open when youre ready to show your party. It was definitely a more private than the other boutiques that we visited in the area. Everyone was very friendly and overall it was a really great experience!

Go to Carrie Karibo! I went shopping for my wedding dress in February 2020 - before COVID - and the experience was truly wonderful. I just had my mother and sister-in-law with me and their intimate changing room was perfect for trying on gowns. Everything about the shop and the customer service really made this a fairy tale experience. They even let us come back the next day without an appointment to try on a dress again ( and it ended up being the dress!). They did not treat as an inconvenience and everyone was so sweet. Especially Carrie! Cannot recommend this shop enough, its absolutely beautiful and it really gives you the shopping for your wedding dress experience you dream about.

I had the best experience at Carrie Karibo. Gorgeous dresses, amazing advice, and even better people. They listened to my concerns, what I wanted in a dress, are very accommodating, but most importantly wanted to make sure I felt beautiful in my dream dress. They definitely know how to make a bride feel special. I would go here 1000 times again! 💓

I had a very bad experience with this boutique I do not recommend it unless youre budget for a dress is at least $2,000 before alterations. I called months in advance and asked if they carry dresses within my budget ($1,000). I was told that they did and I should schedule an appointment. When I arrived Sherry greeted my group, and she was very polite until she heard my budget. Afterward she was very standoffish. Her body language and attitude changed completely. It was very clear that she did not want to work with me. I was not able to try on any dresses there. I was belittled for my reasonable budget on what I supposed to be a very fun and exciting day. I do not recommend this boutique.

The boutique is lined with beautiful dresses and wonderful consultants. I had Courtney and she was so understanding and patient with me. I personally did not buy a dress here, but I did have a wonderful consultant and they had a great selection of dresses.

I cannot recommend Carrie Karibo enough!! After a long weekend of dress shopping, I was expecting Carrie Karibo to be just like any other shop, but boy was I wrong! The store itself is clean and beautiful. The fact that they have totally individual dressing room (suites) was great- it felt like we were VIPs. Our consultant was AMAZING. I came in with a long list of likes and dislikes and it didnt shake her. She listened intently and never once said this will be hard, she only said Lets do it! I felt cherished there- something I did not get from other stores. You truly get that boutique feel here - but honestly, without the crazy prices! I had tons of options in my budget. I originally left without buying anything but came back in an hour later because I couldnt get a dress out of my head and they didnt even bat an eye! They were just excited to see me back. I ended up saying YES to the dress here! EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO HERE!!!!

Look no further than the ladies of CKB!From the minute I walked in the door at their boutique with their warm welcome, I truly felt like a VIP and had a wonderful personalized experience.For starters, each bride had a private room equipped with seating for their guests and a private changing curtain to change behind while trying on dresses - this made for a lovely intimate experience!Next, the staff was also just amazing and special shout-out to my assistant Christine, she was just the BEST! As I was trying on a few dresses I had initially selected, she listened to every thought/comment that I had and continued to pick additional dresses out that she thought I might like. I really appreciated her ideas and suggestions especially because dress shopping (just in general) is not something I do very often at all - and in the end, the dress I said YES to I found with the help of her suggestions! I also sent over an email ahead of time with pictures and a few thoughts I had prior to the appointment and she had already read through it all and incorporated it in during my appointment too!!Finally, In terms of pricing and selection, CKB has a wide variety and selection at very reasonable prices. My budget was on the moderate to low end, and I found a dress I loved below what I had walked in expecting to spend!All this to say, I would whole heartedly recommend CKB to any bride to be! I am still reminiscing over the very fun and memorable experience I am so thankful to have had.

Carrie Karibo Bridal is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We ended up at Carrie Karibo Bridal by chance and I am SO incredibly thankful we did. We originally had an appointment at another boutique but ended up giving it away due to the crowded and chaotic environment. Initially I was a little disappointed as I knew it would be hard to find availability as a walk-in on a busy Saturday (plus we had four adults and a baby in our group) but when we stopped in to Carrie Karibo Bridal, Carrie (the owner) did not even blink an eye and said ‘Of course we can take you!’. The boutique itself was stunning with a beautiful section for bridesmaids dresses in the front and then a private oasis for wedding dresses in the back. The oversized dressing rooms were perfect for me and my guests to relax and truly enjoy the experience. Sherry, my consultant, was wonderful. She explained all the different styles and showed me where they were located in the boutique (which was super helpful as it can be overwhelming to sift through hundreds of dresses!). Additionally, she made sure to point out specific designers that were within my price range. During the appointment, Carrie would occasionally pop in to see how things were going and even sat down to play with the baby - how SWEET is that?! The whole experience was absolutely magical - topped off by finding my dream dress and celebrating with champagne. I cannot thank Carrie, Sherry, and the staff at Carrie Karibo Bridal enough for making my day beyond perfect.

My consultant was rude and didnt really listen to the comments I made and just made me feel rushed throughout the whole experience.

My daughter knew in her head what she wanted, but after trying on so many dresses, she hadnt found it. Sherry was quietly listening to her the entire time and basically created the look my daughter wanted by combining a couple of pieces! She cried the minute she put it on! Thank you Sherry for listening & not just throwing dresses at us! We would have never found THE PERFECT DRESS without you! The shop is so cute and each bride has private space with her friends & family. Couldnt have asked for more...

Carrie Karibo Bridal Boutique goes above and beyond!! The atmosphere is marvellous! This should be every brides first stop, I promise you, you won’t regret it. A huge shoutout and thank you goes to Julie! She is an amazing and incredible human being!! I am terrible at shopping already, and the idea of dress shopping made me very anxious. With Julie by my side, all my worries melted away. She helped make my entire experience so much fun. She was patient, kind and listened to what ideas I had. The first dress she suggested for me to try on, was of course the dress I said yes to! Thank you all for everything you did!

I found the absolute dress of my dreams here yesterday. This place was the first place I booked at in Reading. And I cancelled all my other appointments following. The staff is absolutely amazing and their passion about anything bridal shines through to make your experience truly so special. I’m still on cloud 9 that my dress is MY dress and I that found exactly what I was looking for with their help and transparency with me. We had spent a busy Saturday shopping at various bridal stores in the district and tried on a lot of lovely dresses, but still hadnt found the dress that completely wowed all of us yet. We were walking back to our car and decided to see if we could stop at one last place and happened by Carrie Karibo right at closing time. They were incredibly accommodating and offered to help even though we didnt have an appointment (and they were technically closed). Sherry worked with us and she was so warm and patient and didnt pressure us at all. She was an absolute joy to work with and you can tell that she really loves what she does. I ended up finding the dress of my dreams here :) I am SO happy that we came in and would recommend this bridal boutique to anyone in the area.

From the bridal appointment to picking up my gown, Carrie Karibo and all the staff made my experience truly wonderful. Even through the uncertainty of 2020, my mind was always put at ease by the professional, kind and experienced staff. When I first went into Carrie Karibo, I immediately felt welcomed. I loved the atmosphere and everyone was so nice. The dressing rooms were spacious enough to fit the 6 people I brought with me. Emma was absolutely amazing! She was so patient and so fun to work with. Emma knew the style I liked but picked something a little different than what I pictured. Turns out, the dress she chose for me is the one! I said yes to the dress! I couldn’t be more excited about finding my dream dress and I’m so happy I was able to experience it at Carrie karibo. Also, a huge shout out to Courtney and Sherry for helping us out when Emma couldn’t be there. They were also so sweet and fun to work with!

As a wedding planner, its my job to make sure my couples are always taken care of, but in this case, the ladies at Carrie Karibo did that and beyond! They helped my bride find the perfect dress and even made it feel real by giving her flowers to hold and making sure she could hit all her dance moves in it as well. The day was stress free for her and even more so, just FUN! Thank you ladies for taking care of them - counting down to the day we see her in that beautiful dress!!

I’m officially a Carrie Karibo bride and said yes to my dress last Sunday (Oct 13)!! I came in with my parents and 3 of my best babes. We had the best experience to say the least. First off, I was scheduled for 3pm but arrived at 2pm to see if there was a chance I could start early. The ladies were so kind to accommodate us and placed us in good hands with Sherry (love her!). Also FYI the bridal suites are beautiful. We immediately wanted to take pictures because the decor and furniture were so cute. Then they gave us these lavender scented hand towels which we loved. I had been to two other dress shops prior to this. My mom and best babes all agreed that the quality of the dresses at Carrie Karibo ranked at the top. The entire time Sherry was never once pushy and remained patient with me until I found my dress. And lastly she finished off the day with celebratory champagne! It was the best day ❤️Update: On Sunday Feb 23 (19 weeks from saying yes to my dress) I called to check up on its progress. I spoke to Courtney who said it’s projected to be ready at the end of April 2020. I asked her about the delay and if everything was ok. I was worried because it would be just my luck to have some unfortunate issue to pop up hence why I called. Condescendingly, she made me feel stupid and stated there was no delay when in the contract it states production typically takes between 16-22 weeks. And after that 5-7 business days for in-state shipping and 10-15 days for out of state shipping. Twenty two weeks plus 2 more weeks from October 13 is March 29. My wedding isn’t until August but I was so upset with the way she spoke to me since we PAID IN FULL and I was just a worried bride checking up on my dress. The wait is no problem for me, it was just the way the situation was handled that upsets me.I called back because after I had my mom count the calendar days to make sure I wasn’t crazy and miscounting and luckily spoke to sweet Emma. The simple sorry about your bad experience meant more than she probably knew after being talked down to.Side note, they take a photo of your entire crew when you end up buying your dress from there. I was looking forward for months to see ours and be able to save it and look back on the moment but ours was never posted.Lesson of the day? Wait to post your review after you receive your dress. I’m just hoping my reviews help any nervous brides out there. Will update once I get my dress!

In the beginning I was very pleased with the customer service I received in buying my wedding dress. I had Susan and she is absolutely wonderful! The experience was so great I decided to have my 8 bridesmaids get dresses from here. The girls did receive a 20% discount because I ordered my dress from Carrie Karibo.My bridesmaids took her dress to get altered and the top of the dress was made completely wrong. It was two different styles/two tops made into one. One side was strapless with a round shape and the other side a triangle shape with a strap. I called Carrie Karibo; they asked me to email over a picture of the dress. I was able to speak to Carrie and she told me the picture shows nothing, there is nothing wrong with the dress, a picture is just a picture and the only way for her to decide if the dress was made incorrectly is for us to bring the dress back in with her and her seamstress.(I circled the picture where the mistakes are made). She also informed me that these type of dresses are made to order (obviously, it was made incorrectly) and they do not have a warehouse full of them to just give us a new one. I didn’t ask for a new dress; I was informing her a mistake was made, the dress we ordered and paid for is not the dress we got. She acted like it was our fault and there was nothing wrong with the dress the entire conversation. I talked to another employee later on, she told me she was the one that checked in my dresses and she didnt notice the dress being wrong and they aren’t sure how it was missed. That was the only time any accountability was taken. I sent two brides here prior to this. I will not recommend anyone else to go here.

This past weekend we had the best experience at Carrie Karibo. My daughter, her Maid of Honor, her father and me found the perfect dress for her wedding day. The shop is very well organized for dress selections and our consultant Sherry was just fabulous. They had many more designer dresses than other shops had. If you are the bride looking for that special dress I would recommend this bridal shop. You can’t go wrong with the special attention and help you receive from Carrie Karibo...... It was awesome😊

AMAZING experience!! This was hands down the best boutique in Cincinnati. The dresses are arranged by style, rather than designer, which made it much easier to find what we were looking for. The girls working had such a fun energy about them and made the whole process so exciting!! Carrie had a huge variety of dresses and knew what would look best. They cheered with us and brought us out a champagne toast when the perfect dress was found. We were even shocked at how well the dresses were priced. Thank you SO much!!!!

I had such a wonderful experience at Carrie Karibo. From the second I walked I felt so taken care of. Christine was very attentive to both me and my mom. I had a good idea of what kind of dress I wanted, so Christine ran with the idea and pulled out the dress that I fell in love with! Susan kept me focused on finding the right dress in a way that made me feel supported and motivated! Susan found THE PERFECT dress for me, and she and Sherry helped me pick out the best accessories! When I returned to pickup my dress, I felt welcomed and just as special as I did before I had even purchased a dress. They have a huge selection of wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses and mother of the bride dresses. The shop is gorgeous and newly renovated, and it is so clean and beautiful!! The parking is super convenient. Just all around, I couldn’t and didn’t find a better experience or dress! This place is just the absolute best!!

Went here for looking a wedding dress for a friend who is getting married this year. They have a great selection of dresses and the consultant was absolutely wonderful. We also came back here for getting bridesmaids dresses as well and had a very good experience with that as well.

Alright, I want to start off by saying that when I walked in to Carrie Karibo Bridal Boutique, I did not even have an appointment, and I was not even planning on purchasing a gown. I had walked in after seeing a gown I was in love with on their Instagram stories, and saw that they were having a trunk show. Keep in mind, I went on one of the busiest days of the week, during one of the busiest months of the year, WITHOUT an appointment. This was my first time even going to a store to look at a gown, and I was nervous about the selection because I am a plus sized bride. All of that changed as soon as I walked through the door. Even though there were people there with appointments and it was clearly busy, Carrie herself walked through her store with me and hand picked out gowns that she thought would fit my shape and style. I ended up trying on a dress that was missing a couple of things that I was really hoping for, but was perfect other than that. She saw how excited I was about it and left the room for a moment. About a minute later, she came back with the perfect solution to what I was looking for, complete with jewelry and a veil, and at that moment I knew I had found my wedding gown. She treated me and my mom to a glass of champagne to celebrate and we felt like absolute royalty! I really loved how I did not feel any pressure to purchase a gown, and how the staff at CKB treated my mother and I the entire time we were there. Ultimately, if you are looking for a gorgeous, fun place to search for your wedding gown, I would look no further. After my experience at Carrie Karibo Bridal Boutique, I will be sending everyone I know her way. Christine and the rest of the ladies were a joy to work with. I love that I was never pressured or rushed, I truly felt that everybody embraced me as a bride instead of a sale. Christine was especially helpful with her guidance on putting together my 3 piece dress and sash, so special thanks to her! The store itself is also amazing- such a beautiful boutique with a lot of space in comparison to what it was a few months ago. It is stunning! I would recommend this as your 1st and final stop in the bridal district 😍

This place was so lovely! My family and I had a lovely time picking out dresses, and trying them on, #1 was a definite winner, didnt pick anything that day, still in some preliminary planning stages! They were super helpful and nice, boutique is BEAUTIFUL! Great experience, highly recommend!

I can not say enough about this place. Everyone there is so helpful, sweet and all around amazing. I was working with Sherry when I went in and she was absolutely perfect. She was so patient with my group and I then entire day. I wish I had more reasons to shop for elegant dresses because this is the place I would go to every single time. I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful my experience was with the staff at Carrie Karibo, especially Sherry. She asked me questions about what I liked and didn’t like, and she took the time to make me feel special. There wasn’t a single moment that I felt rushed, and every time I asked Sherry “how will I know if it’s the right dress?” or I apologized for taking too long to choose a style, she would just smile and say “that’s what I’m here for!” I picked up my dress today, and I was greeted with a smile and hug that me feel like the staff had known me for years. My dress fit PERFECTLY. The measurements were exact and I wouldn’t change one single thing about my experience here.I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and I would drive to Cincinnati to work with these wonderful women over and over again if I could.

What a fantastic place. The store is so beautiful and the dresses are, too! The staff is so sweet and kind, and really knows their stuff. MAGICAL is the word that comes to my mind when I think of this weekend!!! My family flew into Ohio from four different states to find the perfect dress for my daughter. We had appointments scheduled at multiple locations over three days. Our first stop was at Carrie Karibo Bridal. This set the tone and the bar for the next three days. Every Bridal store was measured against Carrie’s. Julie was our bridal Consultant. She was fantastic, amazing and a God sent to us! She LISTENED with both ears to the Bride and she HEARD exactly what my daughter wanted!!! How refreshing to be HEARD!!!! She also listened with her eyes and read between the lines and comprehend everything without a word. The selection of dresses unbelievable. Julie navigated through all the dresses and found the perfect dress within 90 minutes. We did go to all the other appointments. Our bar and expectations were set at that first appointment, nothing could measured up to our experience at Carrie’s.As the Mother of the Bride, I couldn’t be happier for my daughter.MAGICAL!!!!

An absolutely wonderful place! I told Carrie what I had in mind and she picked the perfect wedding dress for me! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating to my large group of friends and family that came with me. Such a wonderful experience!

Very small store but good selection for brides. Not much for Mother of the Bride but worth looking!! I had been searching for Mother of the Bride for over 3 months in Louisville having been to every trunk show, Boutique or Dpt. Store and either liked like an old maid or like I was going to prom.Susan helped me by suggesting a dress I had briefly looked at but didn’t want sleeveless, which this was- 1 shoulder designer dress very well made in navy. After squeezing into it, it was amazing and I ordered it. At my daughters wedding i was very comfortable, danced no problem and had many great compliments. It is timeless so know I will wear it again.I have another daughter getting married this year and look forward to seeing what they have.You need to make appointment though cuz limited dressing rooms.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I would NOT recommend shopping here. So many issues and no customer service. I had appointments to look at bridesmaid dresses and when I arrived they always looked at me shocked that I was there. I ended up ordering dresses from them because they were the only boutique that carried the designer I wanted in Cincinnati. Two of the dresses came in completely wrong! They called me to pick them up and one was BLUE! (My colors are blush). Why would they not have checked that the order was correct before wasting my time to come in? Two of my girls also ordered extra fabric and it took double the amount of time that they said it could take to come in causing my girls to pay extra for rush alterations. It was never their fault, it was always the Designers. I completely disagree with that logic, they are the ones selling the dresses. They own that relationship with the customer. Do not push it back on the Designer. When I first ordered dresses, they were all about having to order them all at once to have the same dye lot. They made a HUGE fuss about this, discouraging my one bridesmaid from reusing a dress (clearly they just wanted the order). Well when two of the dresses had to be remade, all of a sudden the dye lots didnt matter anymore and they wouldnt remake the rest of the dresses! They are a complete joke. The worst part is, they just tried to tell me (the Bride) to relax and have a smile and offered me champagne. So patronizing. The best they could do was reimburse me 20% on ONE dress and their reasoning was that they were covering the rush order charge. Well duh, thats not being generous, you should! Absolutely the worst customer service.

These ladies are absolutely amazing! They are so professional. The gowns they have to offer are absolutely gorgeous. They made us feel right at home, gave us suggestions and listened to our wants. They were not pushy at all and were truly genuine. Choosing a dress was nearly impossible

I recently purchased two bridesmaid dresses for my daughters here. The initial appointment went well. The ladies were friendly and helpful and I thought they knew what they were doing. Even though the sample dress they tried on in the salon fit perfectly, the employees highly encouraged both girls to get different sizes. I had to pay $70 dollars extra for this special sizing on one of my daughters dress since she is tall, thin and small-busted. I was happy to do that until the dress arrived and totally fell off my daughter. The measurements werent even close. This boutique didnt care at all. They said, we should of ordered the size we wanted, that we didnt need to follow their advice. Isnt that why I went to a boutique with quality/expensive dresses in order to have it done correctly??? They werent sorry and didnt offer to do anything to fix it. I was highly disappointed. I expected them to pay to have it fixed properly but they offered no compensation! I would avoid this boutique at all costs!!!

My visit to Carrie Karibo was excellent. Upon entry to the boutique, my mother and I were introduced to Christine, who was assigned to help us for our appointment. She walked us through the store, explaining how the gowns were arranged by silhouette instead of designer (this layout made everything SO much easier), and recommended that we pick out 6 dresses to try. After seeing the first dress that I tried on and really liked (but didn’t quite love), Christine actually selected The Dress. All in all, I tried on 4 dresses at Carrie Karibo and fell in love with the third dress I tried on.I had a second appointment scheduled for the afternoon and decided to go. In retrospect, I really shouldn’t have gone. After trying on 9 different dresses and not even particularly liking some of them, I was asked by the person assisting me what they were competing with. Upon showing them photos of Magic Dress #3 at Carrie Karibo, I was told by this employee AT A DIFFERENT STORE that if the dress was in my budget, to go back and get it because I wouldn’t find another dress of that quality for my price range. I went back to Carrie Karibo, tried on the dress again, picked out a veil and accessories, and have to say that my overall experience with these ladies was incredible for never having been in a bridal boutique.So, to recap:-Carrie Karibo has fantastic employees with a personal touch and great taste when it comes to finding dresses that you’d love, that look fantastic on you.-I was told that each dress is personally examined and selected by Carrie, and you can see that there are greater quality gowns for better prices than you’d find elsewhere.-During your appointment, there’s no sales pitch and if you like or don’t like something, your opinion is heard. These ladies really work with you to make selecting your dress as stress-free and fun as possible.-I’d recommend Carrie Karibo to anyone who has dress-anxiety or doesn’t entirely know what they want. I’d only suggest that if you want to make the process even easier, do a bit of dress research beforehand and identify as many of your preferences as you can so they’ll be able to help you find your dress more quickly.

I loved the dress I purchased at this shop. The service was great and the fact that I could customize a dress for my sons weddingwas very appealing. Just needed to make sure I allowed enough time to have the dress made in California. Few alterations neededand timing worked out great. I was able to have a dress for the wedding that was not traditional and suited my style and shape.Definitely would recommend to friends!

If you are looking for a wedding shop that really gets to know you and what you are looking for, go to Carrie Karibo!! They are very personable and make you feel like the one and only bride. They listen to the styles you are interested in, and pull some dresses that match your style and also styles that you hadnt considered. They also handle one client at a time, help you put the dress on, and give you a dressing room to change in. Silly me thought that was just common decency but the other shop, *Bridal and Formal*, I went to had a wide open room where you just strip down and they fling a dress at you to try it on, while they handle 1-2 other clients. If you want the experience, beautiful dresses, and individual treatment, This is where you will find THE dress.

I bet this place will be great after the renovations are done. Went shopping with my friend for her wedding. Our consultant, Susan, was great. Most of the ladies there were very nice. 1 cranky one, but overall, a great place to buy a wedding dress.

I had an amazing experience purchasing my wedding dress from Carrie Karibo. I worked with Sherry, who truly just enjoyed helping me find something I love, and was not worried about making a sale. The first day shopping we did not purchase, but when it came time to order we only came back to CKB because of the experience. We also had the opportunity to work with Carrie who was the exact same way - they just wanted me to feel beautiful and confident in my decision. I visited Carries as a bridesmaid. It was a wonderful experience. My cousin tried on several beautiful dresses without any pressure to hurry or buy that second. It was a welcome relief from other shops! The dresses and atmosphere were more sophisticated than others. Again, a welcome relief. My bridesmaid dress is purchased from the store. Im excited to wear it to the wedding and again to other events. Thats actually possible with this dress. I encourage you to check this place out as part of your wedding dress odyssey.

My family has been here several times for bridesmaids dresses. The ladies there are extremely friendly and helpful and the bridal and bridal party dresses are gorgeous and reasonably priced! You should definitely make Carrie Karibo a part of your wedding experience, you will not be disappointed!

I had the best experience trying on dresses for my upcoming wedding. Christine was my stylist and she was wonderful, the whole staff was. My daughters, sister, and mother were with me and they had nothing but compliments on our whole experience. They had all the dresses I was interested in trying on as well as the shades I was looking for. If you like the boho look, they have a great selection of both bridal and bridesmaids gowns that fit that style. This is a great boutique and I will use them again for any upcoming events.

This was my second appointment in Reading, and I thought the selection was greatly improved. I saw many lines (Theia!) that I never saw later in my shopping. As someone with a moderate/lower end budget, I did not prefer their method of initial dress choosing: having the bridal party scour the store. This led to me having to put back many gowns. My consultant made me feel comfortable throughout the process, in a motherly way. Relaxed atmosphere where you wont feel pushed to make a purchase.

I cant even begin to describe how amazing my experience was. I brought 6 people which I knew would probably be too much but not one time was there a complaint or anything other than a smile. I tried on like 10 dresses and every single time I tried one on I wasnt very nice to my body appearance and I was sincerely made to feel beautiful and like a princess. One dress I tried on I bawled and we all knew it was the one but I wanted to go somewhere else. I tried on just one more dress at another place and I was not moved. I went back after my appt was over they were so slammed busy yet I was treated amazing and was allowed to try my dress back on with perfect patience, champagne for my ladies, she made me feel amazing about myself measuring me and she added up the accessories and I was not able to afford them at the time and she was very sweet about it never mean or pushy or annoyed and I ask so many questions. I said yes to the dress hugged her and left and got a personalized thank you card 4 days later in the mail hand written. Julie was so very perfect and deserves to be the manager and promoted if possible. Thank you all for making me and my ladies feel like princesses and for helping me pick the dress!

Edited following further talks with owner. Deceitful and condescending. Not only from my order, but multiple orders from our bridal party. Would never recommend.I honestly cannot recommend these people to anyone. For being a boutique they had zero information when I called about ordering the bridesmaid dress, told me to get it from the bride (yet they had it on file), then wanted me to go through all these hoops to get the dress ordered. They refused to take an order over the phone. For the increased price of the dress you should get some decent customer service. Stick with Bridal and Formal. Dress is significantly cheaper and they treat you nicely. When I said I was frustrated on the phone, the lady said ok and hung up on me. Over them.

Id like to provide a review of the Ordering, Price, Service and Overall Experience with Carrie Karibo Bridal Boutique. My experience with the boutique is a little different as Ive never stepped foot in the store. The bride made the trip to the boutique to see the dresses.I ordered online with minimal distractions once realizing what browser to utilize for best performance with the site.Price is usually a point that people address in reviews, are the prices high, not too bad in my opinion for the quality of the dress. Of course if your comparing them to the big box stores they will appear high but I would argue the quality and fashion of the comparison is equal.Service is where Carrie and Julie really stood out for me. I made a mistake of ordering my dress one size too small. My measurements fit in all areas of size ordered except the waist. I received the dress I tried it on and thought Oh...I have 2 months, Ill lose a couple inches in the belly. Fast forward a month....belly still fully in tact. Shoot now I have waisted time. :) So I call the boutique get a voicemail, because they clearly focus fully on each client when in the store. They called back at an end of an appointment with three options for me. After discussing the options I decide which route is best and proceed with it. I mailed my dress from Indy to Cali on Saturday afternoon via USPS Priority and on Wednesday via USPS Priority I received my dress back. It fits like a glove and I am so grateful for the lack of headache and worry the Carrie Karibo Bridal Boutique team delivered.Thank you and if I am ever again in the bridesmaid arena again I will recommend the shop!

My daughter had the pleasure of choosing her bridal gown at Carrie Karibos Boutique. We could not have asked for a better experience! Carrie and her staff are warm and helpful without being pushy. They helped Annie find the dress of her dreams and dresses for her attendants and me! We did this all in 3 months! I would recommend Carries to everyone-in fact I have-and one of Annies bridesmaids sister did the same thing!

My bridesmaids purchased their dresses from Carrie Karibo and needless to say I am very disappointed in their professionalism in handling problems that have arisen throughout the process and their inability to be apologetic for their wrong doing. I dealt with two very rude employees in one visit. I will never give them my business again.

After reading all of the great reviews for this location, I had high hopes and expectation for this place. I had a scheduled appointment over this past weekend. I was greeted at the door by an associate who didnt really appear to know I was coming. I showed her some ideas of what I was looking for and stated that I was more than willing to try on almost anything. She informed me of how the store was laid out then walked away to assist another customer.My family and I wondered around and started picking out a few items. The associate took the dresses after my arms were full and stuffed them into a tiny changing stall. She wasnt very prepared as she didnt have any clips or any undergarments to assist me. The first dress I tried on barely fit over my hips. I am a size 12 and understand that things will be quite tight but Im not completely out of question with some finagling. I had just come from another bridal store near by (European Bridal) and had 0 issue regarding this matter.I tried on another dress and was disappointed, again, that the dress wouldnt fit so I informed her that she had free reign to go and grab any dresses that she felt would fit and would look flattering on me. She left me mostly naked in the little stall for about 5 minutes feeling completely awkward. She returned with a few more dresses. Only one fit me... barely. I was, then, informed by the associate that I wouldnt really fit into much within the store. She didnt appear to want to assist me as Id asked about something in the window she was unwilling to even get down for me after several requests.The two dresses that I was able to fit into either had a broken zipper or the hem was basically separated from the entire dress. The associate indicated that this occurred from a previous client attempting to squeeze into a dress she shouldnt have. I was never asked how I felt about a dress or felt any sort of willingness to find the right gown for my big day.At this point, I indicated that I was not having any luck and went to put my cloths on. I was completely disheartened by the entire ordeal and went back to the first store and was greeted with smiles and treated like a princess.tl;dr Dont go here if you have hips

My child received a bridesmaids dress on the 14th, when she opened it, it has black spots on it. When she called and emailed in the 15th, they told her to take it to have it dry cleaned!! A $250 dress already needs to be cleaned!! Im sure they have insurance on this dress and it should of been returned or had some sort of an exchange done. They offered nothing!! Very poor customer service. I will never recommend anyone to shop there for their special day ever!!! Such a same after spending so much money they wont stand 100% stand behind their business!!!

I would not recommend shopping here. They have no customer service and if any issue comes up, according to them it is always the customers fault. This happened with both my dress and the brides.Bridesmaid dress: I ordered a bridesmaid dress that the bride picked out. I filled out the form asking me my normal dress size and my measurements. A few months later I receive the dress and it does not fit in the ribcage/chest area. I am normally a size 4 (sometimes even a 2) and I ordered a 6 to be safe. My mother tried on the dress, whom is a size 0 or 2. She also could not zip up in the chest area in the size 6 dress. We assumes this must be a mislabeled mistake, after physically measuring the dress it says it is 30 Bust. I am a 33 bust and the size chart said it was supposed to be a 33 bust. I live out of state so my mother went down to the store to show them and discuss the options. All they could do was blame me for ordering wrong and all they could do to help was to order a new dress for $200 more, in which I would also have to get rush alterations on. They also went as far as to say that the only reason the rip area does fit is bc the fat from the waist must be pushed up. Clearly just disregarding that is clearly 3 smaller than the dimensions the size chart says it was supposed to be. Why take our measurements if they dont matter and you just disregard them? why along the line somewhere did they not tell the customers the dress runs small? Now I am stuck with a dress that does fit and a wedding 1 month away. I am forced to figure it out and McGiver some solution all on my own bc they could have not cared less about helping me... they already got their money.On top of all that when I asked them to reimburse my shipping fee, since it was picked up in store and not shipped, they first ignored my emails and then refused to do so.Brides Gown: The Bride purchased her dress from the shop and after alterations and such she picked it up, everything looked great. The store put the dress in the bag and she took it home. The dress remained in the closet untouched for a month or so. Then one day she deiced to take a look, and good thing she did. There were yellow blobs or stains on the fabric of the dress. She immediately called the store and sent them photos. Again.. they did nothing to help. All they did was blame her, it was something she did. Even though she had not touched the dress or even unzipped the bag it was in since the fitting. She was forced to deal with it herself and pay tons more money on cleaning fees. Luckily the spots mostly all came out and the cleaner is going to patch up and fix the places it did not.So some words of advice from a customer and a designer/maker/small business owner, whom also deals with customers, do not shop here. They will help you purchase, but anything more and they want nothing to do with you. If something goes wrong, they will blame you, instead of trying to help it make it right.

Carrie Karibo Boutique is a brides santuary in Readings bridal row. Its has a calm/quiet/light feel and you can tell the owner puts thought into the dresses she stocks. Its kinda like the Nordstrom of bridal boutiques...fantastic quality and design for a decent price!Carrie and Julie personally helped my mom and I when I came in town for a quicky wedding dress shopping weekend. The boutique is lovely and I couldnt be happier with my purchase! They really know the stock and how the dresses can be modified or color choices. My dress is beautiful and I feel beautiful in it!

Personally, I wouldnt recommend anyone here based on the experience I had. Frankly, I found the staff member I worked with had no customer service skills whatsoever. Susan made it clear she was completely uninterested in hearing about important details of my wedding day or even the style of dress I was looking for and was actually a little patronizing in my opinion. I walked in the door about five minutes early for my scheduled appointment and was greeted by her saying Can I help you with something? (Admittedly, the wording of circumstances I will mention from this point forward did catch me off guard, however, many people interpret phrases and voice inflections differently so maybe I misread the context of the situations when these came off to me as somewhat rude/pretentious.) When I introduced myself and told her I was there for my appointment she led me back to a fitting room and told me should would have to find someone to work with me and returned again saying she guesses she would be the one helping me today. She made two different comments that were a little off-putting to me specifically. One about the lack of bridal party shopping with me (as I brought only my mother with me rather than the 7 girls in my bridal party) and another about my mentioning I would like to stay around the $2,000 mark for a dress (which wasnt regarded as low budget anywhere else I shopped). I worked as a bridal consultant for many years in the past, which I ended up feeling the need to mention a few times because I have a pretty vast knowledge of the industry and the way I was being spoken to felt very condescending (you wouldve thought we took a pair of scissors to one of the gowns by the way our sales associate reacted to my mother choosing a gown from the rack rather than pointing and asking Susan to add that one to our room. This is a big no-no because the dresses are very expensive and fragile). Positively, I loved the design of the store and all of the dresses are very well-made and beautiful. However another aspect of the appointment that was a little upsetting was that it was apparent that a sale was more important than my wants as a bride. From working in the industry I know its imperative to be open to trying on styles you wouldnt think youd like- Ive seen many brides myself leave with a dream dress totally different than what they came in looking for. However, I was even almost forced into a few dresses that were pulled for me that werent my taste and I politely tried to decline, after she used the justification you dont know you dont like it until you try it on. After I said I didnt like a dress on, my sales associate even tried to sway me on it for another 5-10 minutes while she tried to pull belts for it (proceeding with this after I thanked her but told her that wasnt the look I was going for). I did end up cutting the appointment short, telling my sales associate Susan we had another event we needed to get to. At the conclusion of the appointment when I thanked her and I think she came to the realization that she wouldnt be getting a sale out of me today, she almost aggressively followed my mother and I out of the store, persistently asking me to stay so she could take my measurement, get further contact information, etc.While it may have just been an off-day at the store, I hate to say I was a little disappointed in the experience as a whole. My constructive criticism overall would be to truly listen to your clients wants and needs and consider those. Ask questions before making assumptions and really be aware of how you are speaking to your clientele. This is the only bridal shop that I ran into any of these problems at, so I think it would really help your business!
