Such an easy great experience!I had an appointment today and the stylist, Victoria, was amazing! She was so so helpful and the absolute sweetest. She was extremely patient for my first time dress shopping. She gave me plenty of great options and listened to my likes and dislikes with each dress. She made me feel good about those that i tried on and chose. I cant think her enough for helping me find the perfect one! I am beyond happy and ecstatic with my choice! Thank you so much Victoria!

I made an appointment here a few weeks ago. On their website they state their gowns are averagely priced around $999. Before you visit they send you an online questionnaire that asks for your budget. They also reach out to you before your appointment through call/text. Not once was their an indication prior to my appointment that my budget would be an issue. When I arrived at the store I was again asked for my budget, and I told them around $900-1k, thinking this would be a decent budget based on their website. The sales lady immediately grimaced and said she would have to really look hard to find a dress for that price and said most of their dresses were in the 1.5k range. She then directed me to a sales rack. I felt like I didnt even belong in their store and my experience was soured before it even really started. I also wasnt allowed to touch the dresses on the rack, my sales lady had to pull them one by one and ask if I liked them. This made me feel a lot less involved in the dress picking process and pressured to say I liked certain dresses so as not to appear picky. There was also an instance where another sales rep recommended a dress for me in front of my sales rep, who asked what the size was. When she said it was a size 6 she quickly dismissed her and said it wouldnt fit me and that a size 6 in bridal was like a size 2 in street clothes. (The bridal shop I went to later that day said they had never heard of this and that I would have definitely fit in a size 6 - I actually DID try on a dress in that size). While this may not have intended to be hurtful, it still left me feeling embarrassed about my size. Needless to say I felt very unwelcomed and rushed due to my budget from the moment I walked in. While I did like one of the dresses I tried on, I already decided I wouldnt be spending my money at this store. I ended up going to another shop nearby that had a plethora of dresses within my original budget, although I actually decided to spend a little extra because of how much I liked the employees. I ended up finding my perfect dress, belt, and veil! My suggestion to this shop is to list a more accurate price range on your website. If I had known 1k would limit me severely, I wouldnt have even made an appointment and saved both myself and the employees time. Again, I filled out the questionnaire and spoke with an employee before my appointment and never received any indication that my budget would be an issue. If 1.5k is your true average rather than $999, say that. That $500 difference could be huge to some brides. Theres nothing wrong with only having dresses in a certain price range, just be more upfront about it to save future brides the embarrassment I dealt with.

I was there yesterday for my first ever appointment to shop for wedding dresses. The shopping experience with the stylist was pretty good and she was very sweet. At the end of my appointment I was down to two dresses and after trying them both on again…I finally found my dress! However, after asking the price… the dress was $700 over my budget. So was my second choice. I had told the stylist my budget at the beginning and my absolute top dollar... But still was somehow given a number of dresses outside my budget. I was crushed when I had to leave my dream dress behind and head to my next scheduled appt. This experience basically ruined the whole day for me. I ended up having a breakdown at the next appointment because I compared every dress to that one. I didn’t end up finding a dress yesterday and I plan to try again in a couple weeks, but I just wanted to share my experience.

Ask for Victoria! She was fantastic! Actually listened to what I wanted. She made me feel super comfortable and gave me some money off on the dress due to some very small issues (easy fix). It was especially great coming here after the place I went to prior told me I was too edgy for Cincinnati wedding dresses. Joke was on them I found my perfect dress here at SNB&B! Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience at SNBB!I worked with Erin, who was patient, knowledgeable, and so fun to work with! She was able to read between the lines and made wonderful recommendations on additional dress styles I should try. My top two picks were actual dresses she had picked for me!Definitely check out this bridal shop first! They had a wide variety of styles to choose from, listed at very affordable pricing.

Go for the dress say NO to accessoriesWe went to the shop to look for a dress. The saleslady (Molly) was great and pulled several dresses for my daughter. She really listened to what she wanted and tried to help her. We found a dress and were very happy with the experience. As we neared the end of our time Molly started to pull out several accessories to put on with the dress (bracelets, hairpieces etc). My daughter thought she would like an item for her hair. It was overpriced as many bridal items are. Their promotion said of you bought the dress that day you would get a piece of jewelry free. Of course when we asked we were told it did not apply to that piece and they would give $20 off. We were told it would have to be ordered and may not be in on time. We knew the dress was a sample and that it was not returnable as a one of a kind item. The accessories they sell are bulk ordered and not one of a kind.After meeting with her flower person my daughter decided to wear flowers instead of the hair piece. I called the shop 4 days after and asked them to not order the hair item. Molly was again very nice but said she would have to get approval from the owner. She called back and said the owner said no. I asked for the owner to call me and Molly took my number and said she would call. I finally called her since she had not called. At this time it was 7 days after our visit. The owner was rude and just said no. The item is not in the store and she could not tell me when it was ordered or when it would arrive. Molly had verified they did not order per client but did bulk orders for the items. I had asked if I could call the company since it was only a couple days after our visit.Issues come up and things change often as weddings are planned. The measure of a company is how they respect and deal with issues to help their customers. The owner was not willing to help cancel the $160 hair item even though we had paid for the wedding dress which was over $1000. The store did tell us dress sales were final but did not say that about accessories. Beware….the dresses are beautiful, Molly was great…say no to the accessories when you go so your experience does not become a negative one.

My best friend and i (with her 2 small kids (under 3)) walked in there last weekend. i wanted to try on dresses to get a better idea of what i want to wear when i marry my wife in October.Jessica was AMAZING. i cannot say enough kind things about her. i am so grateful for her help, opinion, respect and kindness (to myself and my best friend/her kids!)i walked out of there with MY DRESS. i cant wait to get it altered and show it off!THANK YOU JESSICA!!

This store has an amazing selection of stunning dresses! My consultant, Lauren went out of her way to help me search for the perfect wedding dress. I had one dress on that would have needed alterations done and they took pictures and contacted the seamstress right then and there to make sure the alterations were possible before I had my heart set. Thank you again for the amazing experience and customer service!

100% recommend this low key store- amazing designer dresses never worn! I shopped other Bridal outlets and the dresses were normally beat up and really worn. Not at this store- gorgeous selection and lots of personal attention! I stopped in SNBB on a whim before an appointment at another bridal store- they were extremely accommodating and supportive! Even ran down the street to a sister store to get a matching vail- Maggie was so sweet and listened to everything I told her- she picked THE PERFECT DRESS! Highly recommend SNBB. No pressure to buy at all (outside of shopping outlet means you can’t guarantee the dress will be there when you return).

Very helpful and kind staff, easy to communicate with, and LGBTQ-friendly to boot. The only drawback is that everything is final sale, but that comes with the territory of it being a discount shop, so I dont blame them for it.

Lots of amazing things from this bridal shop!They have a variety of inventory to fit every style. I mean everything, anything from boho, vintage, to barbie. They have amazing customer service and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, welcome and special.On top of this excellent service, I came back to this shop to buy my dress I fell in love with close to closing and just missed them. The worker was driving by and remembered me and turned around to let me buy my dress. They really go above and beyond!!! I felt rushed and just like another customer at another shop on this strip. This shop however made me feel welcome and special! 10/10 recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Something New, Borrowed, & Blue! We booked an appointment in advance and were matched with an incredible sales associate! I will say that when I walked into the store I was a little taken aback, its not the typical designer bridal boutique, you really do have to hunt/dig through the dresses/racks, so come prepared to really look. It was super busy when we arrived, but we were immediately greeted and the associate who helped me was very attentive when I explained the styling/sizing that I was looking for. I tried on 6-7 dresses and immediately ruled out several of them. She could tell that I was a bit disappointed, so she asked if there was something specific that I was looking for. I told her that since I was planning on a winter wedding (December 2017) I really wanted something with sleeves. She told me to hang on a moment and immediately came back with a beautiful 3/4 sleeve length lace dress. When I tried it on and stepped out to see my mom and sister I immediately knew it was the dress that I wanted to get married in. My sales associate did a fantastic job helping me to decide between my favorites and was very unbiased. You could tell that she was very experienced in helping to provide feedback to brides without swaying their opinion. Even the owner was in tears (happy tears) when we selected the lace dress with the sleeves, they were so supportive! We received a phone call about a month later when my veil and undergarment was ready. We chose to do the alterations that were needed in Lexington, Kentucky (my hometown) instead of having them done with Something New, Borrowed, and Blue. We also did have to purchase a different undergarment/slip as a better fit, but we found a great deal on Amazon for one and it worked perfectly. I highly recommend this shop for its unique styles and the prices are simply unbeatable. Theres no way I couldve purchased the wedding dress I did if werent for this shop. We highly recommend!

I bought my dress from Something New, Borrowed and Blue last November but since I just got married on 11/16 I can finally post pictures! I had somewhat of an idea of what I wanted but wasnt 100% sure when we came in. My consultant, Maria, picked a few dresses for me and I ended up getting the first dress I tried on, which she had picked out! I was a pretty indecisive bride, but we were in and out in 30 minutes thanks to Marias expertise and thoughts on what would or wouldnt be flattering on me. Maria and the owner even helped me pick a flattering veil and I left as happy as I could be! I could compliments all night long on my gown. The best part was I got it for a fraction of the price of other gowns in the bridal district, and I thought mine was the most elegant looking! Thank you all again for your help!

I cant say enough good things about this shop! Lauren was fantastic. Super helpful, caring, and understanding. I was a walk-in and they were adamant about finding me something. I found my perfect dress. Thank you guys so much.

If I could give this dress shop a zero-star rating, I would.To any bride out there, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A PLUS-SIZED BRIDE, DO NOT GO IF YOU WANT TO FEEL BEAUTIFUL WHEN YOU LEAVE!!!!!From the moment I walked in, for my scheduled appointment, I did not feel welcomed. The staff was so concentrated on saying “We are so short staffed.” The bridal consultant I was paired with made me extremely uncomfortable. I put on a size 18 (which is my true dress size), I was told that I have “back fat rolls”. She immediately started stuttering and was trying to take it back by saying that everyone has those and that I was beautiful. She totally broke my heart. We ended up going to the Kenwood mall to take a break because I was so sad. I would NEVER recommend this dress shop.

If you don’t have low self esteem you will by the time you leave this store. The women here where so rude. Very snobby. This should be a place where you are made to feel beautiful and special. They treated the bride and bridal party so bad based on appearance. Other women who for the “standard of beauty (size two) would walk in and they would be greeted friendly and they would be helped. Very sad this world focuses so much on the outside appearance. We are not even that big but was treated awfully. We picked out about seven dresses. There was one dress in particular the dress was very eager to try on. After the fourth dress the sales lady said ok we are done here and told her to get dressed. She didn’t even get to try on the dress she wanted!! Luckily myself and the wedding party are confident enough that there rudeness is all on them. And won’t ruin our day. But to someone else that appointment could of ended in tears.

I had a great experience at SNBB! I had been to one other bridal shop to try on different silhouettes and thought I had an idea of what I wanted. Erin encouraged me to try something different and it was the perfect fit! I would have never tried this dress without Erin’s help and it turned out to be “the one”. They really know what they’re doing here at SNBB. They were professional but also made the experience fun! I also felt that gowns were well priced and it was nice to be able to bring it home right away. Thank you Erin and the SNBB staff!!

First I want to start with our sales lady was amazing. Super kind and helpful. We had an appointment for an hour and a half for our brides first day dress shopping to get an idea of what she liked. Everything was going great until an hour in when several people walked into the store. The other lady (I believe the manager) told our bride that she should have figured out the style she liked by now and had tried on enough dresses in a very downgrading tone. We were literally there to find a style as most brides go to several places before buying. I understand that the purpose of the store is to sell a dress, but you cant do that until you try a few on. Not only did she make the bride cry (ON HER FIRST DAY DRESS SHOPPING), but stressed everyone out in what was suppose to be a fun day. I do not recommend shopping here. They are focused purely on business not customer service. Ive never been more disappointed with an establishment.

I LOVED my experience here. This is the first place I scheduled and had no expectations on leaving with a dress. My consultant Lauren went above & beyond and made the day so great. She pulled a dress she thought I’d like and it was the one! Thankful for such a great experience!

I am so appreciative of the help I received at SNBB and so glad I bought my dress from this shop. I had started my day at Wendy’s bridal, where I had the worst experience after saying that I wanted to ideally spend around $1000 on a dress (without doing much research on dresses prior). The consultant was very dismissive and told me I couldn’t find anything in that range except clearance and seemed hesitant to even let me look or try on dresses, much less try on one was $1,200. When I went to SNBB next and explained what range I was ideally looking for, Georgia was extremely accommodating, had already had a couple dresses in mind based on my style preferences and then helped me pick out a couple dresses that weren’t the style I described, but we both thought I should at least try. She did an amazing job in helping me feel comfortable as I was trying on dresses and making sure every detail of the dress was perfect as my friend took pictures of the dresses. Georgia is very knowledgeable about dresses and what looks good on brides and her opinions on how the dresses looked on me seemed very genuine. Same goes for the manager and two other bridal workers there who were also very friendly and helpful. While I had tried on a dress at Wendy’s for $1,200 that I liked, when I left there I really wanted to find a better dress because I didn’t want to give them my business after the consultant’s poor treatment to me. Fortunately I found two dresses I liked much better at SNBB and felt extremely comfortable in the ending buying one a little over my price range at $1,300 and had that dress not been in the shop, I would’ve gladly bought the $1,400 dress that was also stunning. Both of these dresses that I ended up liking the best were not originally one of my style preferences, so I’m so glad Georgia encouraged me to go ahead and try them on after I saw them and thought maybe they could work. SNBB has such a beautiful and unique selection of dresses. After my purchase, the manager Victoria emailed me a few days later personally thanking me for buying a dress at the shop and to ask if I needed anything. I will highly recommend SNBB to everyone I know looking for wedding dresses!

I walked into the store with some major constraints- I needed an off the rack gown that I could take home that day! I didn’t have time for orders and I was striking out at store after store. Sara was beyond helpful and bent over backward to help me try on as many dresses as needed until I found the one!!!! The experience was so easy and stress free. By the time I walked out the door I felt like the entire staff was like family. I’m going to be radiant on my special day because of SNBB- Thank you!

I had quite a few people recommend Something New Borrowed and Blue to me! They stressed the great cost and wide variety! So i gladly came knowing whatever dress i tried on i didn’t have to worry if i could afford it. Luckily i found my dress they very first one i put on. The staff was amazingly helpful and nice! It made the experience that much more worth it! This is the perfect place to go for a stress free happy day of wedding dress shopping :)

We had a very unpleasant experience at this place. It was my friends first time trying on wedding dresses, and one lady got very upset at her for trying too many of their dresses. She said that my friend should know what she wants before wearing and tearing all their dresses. She said all this while my friend was standing in front of all of us with a dress on... (The bride to be left the place in tears). Terrible customer service. I would not recommend going to this place unless you KNOW what you want and are pretty sure you are BUYING a dress that day. Also, dont try on more than 4 dresses. Trying more might cause a scene like ours.

I went here for the first time over the weekend to help my friend find a dress. We came from out of town and we had 2 other appointments that day and we found our dress at Something New, Borrowed, and Blue. Ive been to quite a few shops with my other friends for dress shopping and this was one of the better appointments. It wasnt crowded and the ladies in there were super nice. I felt that they listened to us and understood what my friend was looking for. Thank you!

We were late, but Martha was amazing and I got to pick my dream dress out regardless! It’s difficult not to go over budget when trying to find the perfect dress but it is 100% possible at SNBB! I got a dress that was originally 2,200 for 1,049!

I recommend this store to every bride who is searching for their dress! Shopping here literally saved me $800! This was the first store I started at in searching for my wedding dress, and the 3rd dress I tried on was the one! Allie helped me through the process of finding the dress, and she was great! She was very careful to stay within the budget I gave her, and helped find dresses in the style I wanted. If you go to this store with a set-in stone dress that you want, you may not have as good of success. This store is like a TJMaxx of wedding dresses, they purchase overstock and such, and pass a huge price cut onto you. Contrary to the store name, all their dresses are new, but what they have on the shelves is what they have, they cant order a certain dress, size etc. But my recommendation is to start at this store, come with a general idea of what type of dress you want and a bit of an open mind, and it is likely you will find a dress you like. At a much lower price!

I was disappointed with my experience at Something New Borrowed & Blue. I had made the appointment online and received a confirmation email. Upon arriving at the store they said they didnt have my appointment for the day. I understand technology isnt always reliable, and the lady said I could shop quick. However the entire time I was quickly shopping she continued to bring up how I wasnt supposed to be there and didnt have an appointment. I was assigned someone to help, and she was very sweet and friendly! I felt as if I had to try something on so I quickly chose two. The store had a ton of people in there and it was hard to move among the racks of dresses and even find any to pull out. I am very petite and was told they had some smaller dress sizes. 95% of the dresses were size 10, which she told me I could buy and just have altered down to a 0. The racks were so close together that everyone was stepping on all of the dresses. My mother and future mother in law pulled out a few that were ripped or had major stains on them (brown stains on the front, sweat stains in the arm pits). I had been very hopeful that I would be able to find a perfect dress here, but upon arriving couldnt wait to leave for the anxiety it caused.

I had a wonderful experience at Something New Borrowed & Blue. Our assistant Heidi was so helpful. She made the experience positive and so easy. The dresses were very budget friendly and they had a wide range of styles and sizes. This was my first wedding dress shop experience and was so wonderful that it will be my last! I am glad I said yes to the dress at SNBB.

I took my niece here to help her with her wedding dress. Rachel was the most amazing, I would say salesperson but I feel that she rises above that title. She was extremely helpful and didnt ever make us feel pressured. My niece looks beautiful and the experience was made amazing by Rachel! I would highly recommend!

I am the mother of a bride who had an early morning appointment on 11/1/19 at this shop. The salesperson was rude from the moment we walked in the door. Her very first question was about the budget and throughout the entire appointment, the budget was her only concern. She treated my group like we were beneath her. She did not offer any true assistance with trying on the dresses and made my daughter feel like a peasant instead of a princess. This was our very first experience looking for a wedding dress and it set a very negative tone for the day. She even said that we would not be able to purchase a dress that day. Thankfully every other store we visited was warm, friendly, helpful, accommodating, and made my daughter feel beautiful and special. It may have just been the salesperson that day, but I would not recommend this shop when looking for a wedding dress. Also, we were able to find and purchase the perfect gown that day at another store.

My experience at Something New Borrowed & Blue was incredible. Suzy was AMAZING and picked out several beautiful dresses for me to try on that matched my style perfectly. She also made the whole experience so much fun! I found the dress of my dreams and couldnt be happier with not only how beautiful it is but also the price!!

I had originally bought a gown from another store. when I got home that evening I was already starting to regret buying the gown. I was stressed about the gown for three weeks until I went to SNBB. the ladies there were very friendly and didn’t make me feel rushed into buying a gown like the other stores had. I tried on close to 25 dresses. they were all beautiful but I was skeptical to say yes, after my last experience. the ladies assured me that when I found “the dress” I would know! I kept trying on dresses and they kept giving me honest opinions about them. finally I found the dress that I wanted! I tried it on several times, and in between other dresses. finally I said yes! the ladies were so thoughtful and helpful and helped me feel like I had made the right decision! thank you to the two ladies that were part of making me feel beautiful on my big day!

This was the first and only place I looked for my wedding gown! I was nervous about the process leading up to the appointment, but three days prior, manager Amanda personally called me. She took the time to introduce herself and truly listen to what I was looking for and what I had for a budget. I had two appointments scheduled for the day, and SNBB was the only store to personally connect with me. I felt listened to and appreciated for my purchase! I was greeted with welcoming arms when I showed up, and I ended up choosing the second dress I tried on!! I recommend this shop to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding gown that will not break the bank!

These ladies are absolutely the best! We did not have an appointment but came into the store to browse gowns. Heidi came and told my future DIL she could try on a few dresses (even without an appointment). Fortunate for us, there was a cancellation and we got an entire 90 appointment! Heidi was fantastic! No pressure whatsoever. And the price was ridiculously cheap for a top notch designer gown. If you are looking for a wedding gown, do not pass them by!!! Wonderful shop!

This shop is unique in the sense that you need to be decisive. Because you buy off the rack, the dress you fall in love with may be gone tomorrow if you dont buy. I had not looked at dresses before and was unsure of what style I wanted. However, I quickly narrowed it down and was able to make a decision! The prices are PHENOMENAL and if youre looking to buy on a budget, this is the place to go. It was an awesome feeling to be standing in a beautiful gown and knowing it was almost 50% off! The space itself is small. There were several other brides there while I was shopping on a Saturday afternoon. Id recommend going on a weeknight if possible. Make sure you have an appointment no matter when you go.

I had such a great experience with Something New Borrowed & Blue! I made a mistake with my online appointment and even though I didnt have an appointment the day I arrived, the owner was very understanding and fit me right in! Melissa was so fantastic working with me to find my dream dress. I was indecisive and she was so patient while I took my time making a decision. I would highly recommend them!

This place was amazing. My second time looking for a dress, feeling slightly overwhelmed and they were wonderful. Didnt find the dress I wanted (only because I am indecisive) but will 100% be back when I have a clearer mind of what I want. I went to a bigger known store earlier in the day and I have to say the customer service, care, and attentiveness was hands down remarkably better here. I forget my consultants name (and will edit when I find the card) but she was wonderful and patient and so helpful. Love love love it! I did not feel any pressure, and constraint like I was taking up their time, lovely experience, thank you!

Although I already had a dress, I was waiting to kill time and wanted to look around some shops while waiting on an event to start. The lady was very helpful and their dresses are VERY great prices. She told me they were getting new stuff in pretty much all the time and if I didnt see anything then, to stop back in. Many high end dresses and they carry plus sizes as well. They had the racks by size to make it easy to sort.

Martha is a friend of my Mom’s and I was so excited about going to Something New Borrowed and Blue because of the variety and I knew that I would find my dress. Maria was part of my team that day and she gave me everything I was hoping for, one out of my comfort zone, and I found my dream dress because of her. I felt like a true princess in a fairy tale, and I am so thankful that SNBB was my first and last place to shop for my dress. I cannot wait to send my friends here when they become future brides. I love my dress and I am so beyond excited for my wedding day and to see the look on my fiancé’s face when he sees me walking down the aisle.

Im not a big shopper in general, and didnt really have any idea where to start when it came to my wedding dress. I randomly picked SNBB as my starting point for this exciting, nerve-wracking, and slightly daunting experience, and Im so glad I did!! Not only did I find an absolutely GORGEOUS dress, but it was half of its original price. There was a good selection of dresses, and it felt good to walk out of the store with an arm full of confidence. Above all else, however, I felt wanted and appreciated by all of the women there. Not just for my business and my money; they made me feel like they absolutely wanted me to find something that I loved and looked good in. Having spent my life in customer service, all I can say is: you ladies are ROCKIN it!!!

I said “Yes” to the dress at Something New Borrowed & Blue! Shannon helped me find my gorgeous wedding dress and she is absolutely wonderful! She was positive and helped keep me calm when I had a huge decision to make. The rest of the staff was just as great which gave me the best bridal experience I could have asked for. Incredible shop! Allie and Kate were my consultants. I came in not knowing what I wanted in a dress, and they absolutely pointed me in the right direction. They were SO positive and made the experience memorable. I left with the second dress I put on! Would absolutely recommend to any bride!

This place is amazing! They have such a wonderful and wide selection of dresses and the prices are great! I was not the easiest customer, to say in the least, but they were beyond patient with me and worked really hard to help me find exactly what I wanted. The customer service is very professional and personable. They went above and beyond with helping me find the right dress. Thank you!!!

Amazing experience! What I love about this shop is that you know pretty much exactly the dress you are getting. They have great prices and amazing staff.

The ladies were very helpful and offered great advice. They offer suggestions but are not pushy just to sell a gown and want you to have what you are most comfortable with.

They were awesome! I highly recommend this store! There was no pressure to make any decisions right then. Iworked with Carly and she was great!! We walked into our appointment a little early and it was no problem. They explained the store to us and they had a pretty good selection of my size (16-18). Of course I ended up falling in love with the very first dress I tried on! I ended up leaving right then without buying the dress. I wanted to make sure it was the right one and went to my other appointments. Nothing compared! I went back to try on my dress and I cried! It was THE one! They helped me hold on parts so I could see what it would look like after alterations which really helped me visualize. They stood there holding my dress while my mom took a ton of photos. Great patience and you could tell that they really wanted to help you find your special day! Seriously the best shopping experience!

I have never reviewed any store before, but feel compelled to warn others about this awful place. The salesperson at this store was beyond rude and insulting. She treated my group with great disrespect and made the bride literally cry! She acted as though a $2000 budget was not worth her time. Further, she fat shamed the bride which is ridiculous because the bride is not even overweight. I cannot express how terrible the experience was... thankfully we were able to spend that $2000 budget at a shop where the bride was treated like a queen. If I could give this store zero stars I would.

This place was horrible at upselling. We were asked our budget and we said $1,000. After Amanda showed my daughter the dress she fell in love with we found out it was $1699! Then Amanda cornered my daughter in the dressing room and asked her if she wanted her to talk her mom into the dress. Totally unprofessional. DO NOT go there!

I was really excited to find the dress here, but unfortunately upon entering the building I was disappointed. They had a small selection in my size which I understood for the store being a revolving door for dresses. But the consultant asked me what I was looking for and told me they didn’t have anything like that. I did find a few I wanted to try on and I didn’t fall in love with, the consultant repeatedly told me that I wasn’t going to find my dress there and that I shouldn’t try any more on because “these are someone’s dresses and we don’t want to harm them if your not going to buy them.” My appointment was disappointing and the consultant was rude. I also felt I was being pushed out the door. Would not recommend.

After searching far too long for a dress and not finding the one, I started to fear that I was just going to have to settle for one I wasnt super excited about. Early one morning, I decided to just stop by Something New Borrowed & Blue once they opened. I didnt have an appointment, I just wanted to see if they would allow me look at their dresses before I purchased something I didnt really want elsewhere. Martha welcomed me into the store and she was absolutely wonderful! She didnt make me feel guilty about just showing up and really treated me better and with more attention than I got at some shops where I did have an appointment. I was impressed with the various styles Something New Borrowed & Blue had and I was happy to find a number of dresses that I liked right away! Martha helped me every step of the way and was very patient. She did not pressure me at all and I found her to be a very calming source, which was especially nice after I had been stressing about a dress for so long. The first dress I tried on fit so well and I finally had the feeling of this is it! I tried on a few more, but ultimately bought the first dress. One of the best parts of Something New Borrowed & Blue was the price! I was shocked at what a deal I got, especially considering the detailing on the dress. I also really liked that I took the dress home that day so I didnt have to wait a ridiculously long time to get my dress and hope it fit like the ones I tried on. I would definitely recommend giving Something New Borrowed & Blue a try! I am so happy I made a last minute decision to stop in!

The consultant called me a few days before my appointment to ask about my style, size and budget, which I appreciated! I said my max was $700, which I know for a wedding dress is relatively small, but I was told on the phone that would not be a problem at all and they had a wide range of dresses starting from $299, so I was very excited.When I arrived, they seemed surprised even though I had an appointment and the first question was Whats your budget? The woman made a disgusted face, which started the appointment off on a bad foot to begin with because I was already feeling dejected from that reaction.She called over a consultant who was very kind, but had a hard time finding dresses under $999 for me to try on. The try-on experience went well and she was very sweet and patient until I was running out of time & dresses to try on in my range. Towards the end of the appointment when I wasnt finding anything I was really in love with, they just kept telling me Ill never find what I want in my price range because no shops have dresses under $1000 to pressure me into buying one right away.I left almost in tears, disappointed and upset, feeling like theres no dress out there for me, until I went to my next appointment down the street a shop who was welcoming, not at all shocked by my budget, and had a truly wide variety for my price range.I was disappointed in my experience and just wanted to share in hopes that other brides would not have to feel the way I felt when I left the store.

I had a great experience at Something New Borrowed & Blue. Martha and her team (Susie!) were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They in no way pressured you to make a sale, and were extremely honest and had positive vibes the entire appointment. They actually worked for you and knew what would fit your figure, and made the effort to pull suggested dresses off the rack (one of which I didnt choose before, but almost ended up saying yes! to). Its smaller, less overwhelming, and you get the special treatment. Rather than saying Heres 3,000 dresses, grab some that you like, they were there for you the entire time. Quality brands and amazing prices. I highly recommend Something New Borrowed and Blue for their top-notch service and actual knowledge on the dresses! :)

When I first walked in they greeted me and my family. It was clean, they offered water. I did not have a appointment at this shop but I was able to make one. I am not from there city so I did not know it was even there. I tried on over 50 or more dresses (not kidding) before I made it to this god sent shop. While I was there I seen two dresses that caught my eye and I had to try on so she wrote them down and when I came back after my appointment with the dress shop I came down there for she had everything ready to go. My niece was with me and the girl had a good time making her feel like she had a big part in helping us. It felt like I was with family doing this at home. No sooner than I put on the first dress I was in love. This shop and one other one after a year ( I really mean from Feb2017-Jan2018) of looking where the only two in my state that had a dress that I liked but this dress I loved. Oh and let me not forget to mention that the original price of this dress was almost $4,000 however the best thing about this shop is that ALL OF THERE DRESSES ARE 50%-80% off. I had a nice budget to work with but my dress only cost a fraction of my budget $1068 for the dress of my dreams. THIS PLACE IS WORTH GOING TO. I live almost 3 hrs away and it was well worth the drive. I can’t thank Something New Borrowed & Blue enough!

I came from Louisville to find my dress after looking at several stores there. I made 3 appointments for different stores in the bridal district and ended up cancelling the other two because I found my perfect dress at the perfect price! I cant say enough great things about this store and all the women there but especially my consultant, Kate. She was patient with me and helped me in and out of 6 or more dresses while I was trying to make a decision. I also love that I dont have to worry about anyone else getting my dress because it isnt a box store!

This was the first place we went to look at dresses and so glad. They went over and aboveTo make dress shopping an unforgettable experience. Can’t say enough nice things about the lovely ladies working here. Don’t go to Cincinnati to look at dresses without checking out Something new borrowed and blue.

I left this store feeling lied to and taken advantage of, and I would never recommend any one visit this establishment. Important information was withheld, like the cost of the veil and belt that were being added to my total and the fact that all sales were final. I was never told the sale was final until I was signing my receipt. I felt like everything went too quickly and I wasn’t given the chance to really think about what was happening before they were bagging my dress and ringing it up. When I walked in the store and told them my budget ($700), I was told I really needed to get something that was at least $1000 if I wanted anything that was decent. I should have known right then that I needed to leave. The main attendant, Martha, made it seem like I needed to order the belt and veil the same day, so I bought them, but I honestly feel like I was tricked into spending twice the amount of money I told them I wanted to. Overall, this is a shady business and I would not recommend it. I went there hoping I would be able to get a good deal, and left feeling like I had been duped. Buying a wedding dress should leave me feeling excited, not like I just made a huge mistake.

I found my dress here! I was happy to see a knowledgeable staff member assisting in the try on process. The only reason I didnt give it a five star is because it is a very tight space and it was very crowded the day I was there. Its a wonderful dress and the staff was great but it was chaotic with all of the people.

Great selection of new and gently used dressed. All the dressed that are used are required to be cleaned and look amazing. Huge selection too. Consultants were helpful and friendly even though it was a very busy day for them. I got my dress for $800 and it was usually close to $2000. They often give $100 off coupons at wedding shows and have special deals where if you spend so much you get a free veil so look for those extras on top of the already great prices. :-D

I visited Something New, Borrowed & Blue last weekend to find my wedding gown. My consultant, Emily, was very sweet, helpful, encouraging, and made my shopping experience truly wonderful. I was instructed to peruse the racks and pull any dresses I wanted to try. After trying on a total of 4 gowns, I said yes to the very first one I put on! The store is pretty small inside and was decently busy and cramped when I got there, but everyone in the store was just friendly and excited. It felt like I had a massive entourage with me! My dress is GORGEOUS and I got a great deal on it! I would highly recommend shopping here.

This store is amazing. Everyone is is friendly and helpful. The prices on these dresses are like none you’ll ever find anywhere else. I had such an amazing time.My only con is that they can’t hold dresses which I understand because there’s no room to do so but I think I was pressured into buying a dress that I’m not 100% sure about.

On Saturday my daughter and an entourage of aunts, cousins and friends piled into Something New B B for our 9:30 appointment. We were welcomed so warmly by Jamie. She explained the wedding dress selection process to my daughter the bride and the whole group. On a very limited budget the selection was surprisingly wide. She invited all of us to select a dress for my daughter to try on. We took our seats and had the best time as Jamie prepared the bride for the dress showing. All of the dresses were beutiful on the bride to be. But in the end, it was the dress Jamie picked out that brought tears and hearty agreement that that was the most perfect dress for my daughter. In one hours time Something New provided a wedding dress shopping experience that everyone loved, especially the bride. Special thanks Jamie and Something New for the wonderful experience and within our budget. I can not recommend a better Bridal-gown store!!

I have been to a lot of bridal shops over the past few weeks. Dress shopping can be stressful and daunting, but Jamie made it an experience I would love to do again and again. She was personable, charismatic and energetic. This store not only provides dresses that are very affordable, they create the small shop feel by getting to know you and what you love.

Would not recommend. The person who called to confirm my appointment wasnt very tactful when asking what size I was. When we went in for my appointment, the sales person asked my budget and said she didnt think I could find a dress for that price. Directed me to their sale rack where I could only pick from 10-12 dresses—I tried on 2 dresses that had giant stains on them and seemed like they were falling apart. They say they arent a secondhand store but it sure seems like it! Would not recommend to anyone, rude service and didnt want to work with my budget or the simplicity i was looking for.

My complaint is they sold me a dress that was too big to be altered. The alterations lady happened to be in the store when I was there and told me the dress could be made to fit me no problem. I bought the dress and took it to be altered. I was told by 3 seamstress not to alter the dress because it would look like a hack job and would cost me $500+. Now I am stuck with a wedding dress that I have to figure out how to sell and have to buy another dress in a short period of time!However... This store does have beautiful wedding dresses at great prices. Just make sure it is not too BIG! I ended up heart broken because I found the perfect dress there and it didnt work out for me. The owners daughter was really nice and helpful when trying on dresses.

My fiancé has been in the hospital fighting a nasty infection and I put off buying my dress as long as I could. I felt guilty leaving him, and even more guilty when I went into other stores and they told me there was nothing they could help me find in under two months. I was referred to this store, and they helped me find a beautiful dress, for a decent price, and I left very happy. It was hard to try shopping for myself during a time like this, but I’m so glad I did. Thank you for all of your help.

I found my dream dress here! I loved thier dress selection and prices. The only down fall was the size of the store and the experience. I found my dress but i was crowded out by people and workers kept walking in front of the mirrors. It was a great place but the experience was lacking a little.

Was super helpful and found an amazing dress so quickly! The first one I tried on I fell in love with and got it. Great price too for not wanting to spend a lot of money on a dress!! Definitely a good choice for dress shopping

If you are bigger than a size 8, your choices are very limited but the girls who were working were very nice. Options under $600 were very limited as well. We didnt have much luck but it was a pleasant experience.

Instead, this store brought the mood down and completely ruined the experience.We had an afternoon appointment. Showed up on time. We were greeted by immediately asking the Bride her size and then told what racks were her size. We started to look, and no one assisted us. The Bride was not assisted by employees to find anything that she liked or had in mind. They didnt help carry the dresses back, once she was in a dress and admiring in the mirror, they would rush her back into the room and out of the dress. The entire time they all stood at the front desk.WORST part is, she found one that she really likes, but refuses to go back and retry it on, because she doesnt want to give this business her money.

I went this morning with my mom after discovering that the original dress that I purchased 9 months ago no longer fits (not even close!) and hoping to find a new dress in time for my wedding 10 weeks from now. Martha helped me and was warm and friendly from the time we walked in. She was not pushy at all and directed me toward the appropriate racks of dresses for my size. I tried on 5-6 dressed and she gave helpful feedback but pretty much let me run the show and did whatever she could to help. I never expected to find my (second) dream dress for $499 but I did!! I left with it today and could not be happier. If you need fancy-ness and lots of frills, this might not be the place for you. But if you want a great selection of unique gowns at unbelievable prices, give them a shot! I doubt youll be disappointed!

I scheduled an appointment at Something New, Borrowed and Blue because I had a warm experience shopping there with my sister when she was engaged, and helping her find the dress there.This was the first boutique I scheduled an appointment with.I took fashion sketches of designs I was considering, 3 or 4 common styles that I thought would suit my shape. The stylists first question was if I had any styles in mind. When I showed her the sketches she said flatly we dont have anything like that here.She immediately followed that by asking my budget. When I told her I was working with a minimal budget, she pointed to a narrow section of one rack with about 8 or fewer dresses and told me that was all they had available for me. She did not make any suggestions to me of what from their stock might look flattering. She was begrudging about my asking to try on a gown that she advised was not my size.I was further told that I could not try on any other dresses in the shop outside my spoken price range, because, as off the rack gowns, these dresses are someone elses dress. If I wanted to try on various styles I should just be at Davids Bridal.While honesty regarding how your inventory may or may not meet a clients needs is valuable; delivering the truth without compassion or tact, in a tone that implies Im a burden on your business, is unprofessional. Despite booking a 90 minute consultion appointment, I was dismissed in under 10 minutes from an otherwise empty shop. I have never felt so unwelcome, anywhere.My sister found her perfect gown here, after being allowed to try on several gowns, and found one she loved outside of the original price point she had in mind.I wasnt even given the opportunity.

I went into SNBB on a budget, and since they say most gowns under $600, though it might be the place to find my dress. Well, found my dress I did! While most of their gowns are around that $600 range that you can take home that day, these gowns are hit and miss, depending on your style and size, but are in great condition. Also - be aware that they they do have one or two racks of gowns that are by order and more expensive. Of course, I found my gown off of that rack, and paid double what their average advertised price is, but I was very happy with the dress and the whole process. I did not feel pushed to shop off the expensive racks. They were helpful and attentive without being pushy. They included me in measurements and deciding on a correct size, called me promptly when the gown arrived. I ordered in 8/31 and they called to tell me it had arrived in early December, much earlier than they had quoted me, which was great. The gown was in perfect condition, fit very well per the measurements they had taken and the size we decided on, and I left, gown in an appropriate light blue dress bag, a happy customer. I would recommend them!

Oh. My. God. I had yet to go dress shopping for my wedding and the stress was starting to get to me, but Kate REALLY helped me through it. I not only found my dress, but throughout the process her and EVERYONE there really made me feel like a million bucks. They were all honest, funny, and didnt feel overbearing at all. Kate went with my vision and ran with it. My bridesmaids are the hard ones to please, but they loved everything just as much as I did, so all in all it was SUCH a good experience. I would recommend them every time!

I did not enjoy my shopping experience here. You have to buy the dress off the rack, so they dont have a very big selection. The dresses were not great quality. Some of them had stains or rips in them.

Do not go here. They are a shady business and are not very good at dealing with customers. They make the mistake and you pay for it. They should fix what they mess up on. The owner will say what ever, blah blah blah. If the customer says you messed up, as a owner you fix it. You make the customer happy, especially on someones wedding day. I can bet if she had a daughter and this happened to her, she would have it fixed pronto. The owner needs to learn how to run a business and treat customers fairly. Even if this turns a few people away from the store that will make me happy, knowing youll spend your money else where.

Allie was so nice and made sure to listen to my wants and needs. While I pray that I never have to look for a wedding dress again, if I did I would definitely return to this store!
