They were scammer, sold me a hub with the rotor attached. They didnt want to remove the rotor screws that rusted but the want you to do it so that you mess the bearings up.

Was helped by a very polite and courteous young man. Had made several stops at different retail stores to locate a part for my sons care with no luck. Stopped in to Carthage auto parts and within 10 minutes I had the part. They were awesome.

I am up in Middletown and nobody had or would sell me the a/c compressor bolts that I needed. This was about the twelfth place I called and they said yes, they have them and they would sell them to me. Thirty-five minute drive down and thirty-five minute drive back was worth it. I will go back if I need something else.

Spent $80 on a windshield And when I purchase date it was not expected there are rushing and was black dark and mortal oil all over it and I did not see the scratches for the cracks until I wipe it off at set complain for them to tell me to bring the receipt back and for them to give me back $20 said that that was the best he can do is that of giving a whole It was very unprofessional with a badd attitude I would never recommend anyone not even my worst enemy to come here.

Offered me 75 bucks for a car that weighs 3,368 pounds. Plus the car ran and I drove it to work everyday. Minor body damage. Its a 2000 Honda CRV but my God. I definitely dont reccomend this place. Im a mechanic myself and I roof and remodel homes. I will tell everyone I know not to go here ever!!!@

Called on a Friday and paid for the part over the phone with my cc was told they would contact my husband Saturday so we can pick up the part. My husband called Saturday morning just to confirm. No call by 1230 we call no answer, so we go up there. Chain on the fence theyve closed until Monday. Very unprofessional! Not even a call to say they werent able to pull the part and well have to wait until Monday. Car is in the shop waiting on the part to be delivered... NOT HAPPY!

Excellent Customer Service

Con artists. There website said 150 for a hood. Called them and said 150. Went to pay for it so it could be pulled and was still 150 when I walked in. I asked them if they had the hinges and latch still and they said yes and they would sell them for a additional 50 dollars for all three items. The young man seemed new and asked the older man how to add them to the quote bill. He told him no need. Just write hinges and latch included on there yard pull ticket and theyll pull everything. He said just add 50 dollars to the hood price. Well I waited patiently a week and call to ask if they had pulled my parts. Guy gets back to me said hood is off and laying on the car but the hinges were sold but they had the hood latch. I send my brother there to pick up the hood and get the hood latch and see what they would refund for the hinges. Old rude man claims I never even paid for the hood hinges or latch so no refund. Guy was a ass according to my brother. I guess he is too senile to even use a computer to see what the hood should of been or ask the two guys that created the sale. Should of know better to deal with anyone that requires you to pay first and has no refunds signs posted everywhere. Now I know why there was not another customer there. Will never go back unless they make it right. If you go there make sure you have them itemized every bolt, nut, clip that is included in the sale on the receipt cause obviously the old senile mans left hand cannot talk to the right hand to figure out whats going on.

The problem I have found with them is that they deal with commercial accounts more than general public. They don’t want our money unless it’s of great benefit to them. They figure why worry about a person who only needs something every couple years. There are several places that will gladly do business with you I suggest Shopping elsewhere.

Was told they had the part. Went to pick up the part they said the part was no good. They ordered a part and said it would arrive the next day. Still no part after 2 days. They blamed very one else but them. Then all they said was sorry. Will never go back there.

Bought an alternator on friday 8:30am. Was told it will be ready in a couple hours. Called back around 1 and they said its almost done. Finally got a call at 4 saying they have it. I pick it up right away and install it. No fix. After pulling and swapping wires, I finally take it to autozone where they tested it and said it was bad.I finally get around to returning it only to be told no refund although they sold me a defective part. I stated that I thought they tested them before they sell them. He said they do, (although clearly it was a bad part). Another guy stated that they test what they can. Now Im stuck with a credit that I dont need. Ill never go here or recommend this place ever!

Bought a starter from them..But soon as i put it on, something started draing my battery..After installing new alternator and new battery it was still draining.So i took starter to 3 Autozones and 1 Advanced Auto to get it tested just to make sure..And all 4 establishments said the starter was drawing too many amps causing their tester to blow a circuit..I immediately went bk to carthage to let them know what was discovered about the starter..THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM..NOT EVEN AN EXCHANGE...They actually had the nerve to say that Autozone and Advanced were lying just to get me to buy a starter..What ever happened to the customer is always right..

Youre essentially gambling your time visiting this junk yard. Most of the stuff has already been picked over but there is always a chance you will find what your looking for.

Why buy a new part for a used car when you can get a part here that will work for half the price?I may never go to Autozone again! The Guys there are smart AND they are nice to you!

Just picked up a very good facelift hood for a pre-facelift E46 project. Fair price, good group of guys, and I had the hood in my jeep 10 min after I walked though the door. Doesnt get easier than that. Very pleased.

Great timing an prices on parts an cars

I use to like Carthage auto parts very reliable and fast nice staff..but lately I have been getting run around for 3 days about a part saying it will be ready 5 times and guess what still not ready to pickup...I think I will.no longer do business with this place..I called off work to have my car fixed was told parts would be ready and nothing day 3 .wont be a day 4

Been using them for 20 years, they have always treated me right.Prices are fair and they stand behind the part (for limited time). To those complaining about prices vs. dealer. Sometimes OE manufactures will drop prices on parts if they are failing often. Let the salvage yard know there prices are out of the market and they will usually verify this and adjust as needed. They cannot keep track of all new part prices and changes.

Called to see if they had a rear bumper for my car they said yes. I said does it have any damage scratches dings dents ect.i was yold no .. we drove 2 hours to find it had been hit had multiple scratches and the backup sensors wers damaged also the clips wete broke to connect it.. the guy took pictures and went in the office and showed his boss.. we asked if theu would take 125 and they said yes.. when they brought the bumper up to us another guy refused to give us the price we had been quoted... even with the 2 that quoted it standing right there said taje it or leave it so we left. Will be reporting to bbb... and the reason they dont let you use the rr there is evident my fiance walked in on a worker doing something illegal. needless to say that got reported to

Says they weren’t supposed to close until 3. Got there at 2:25 and they were closed. Sign on door said open. Called, voicemail said open until 3 on Saturdays yet no one was there. Unprofessional

Buyer Beware!!Bought a used engine for a 2006 Prius. They sold it as no Warranty. I took it home and the Mechanic that was helping me said there was not enough compression. I didnt install the engine and Carthage wouldnt take back the engine. I offered to pay for the Labor and they still refused to take it back. Found a used Engine at Trester for half the price with good compression and a 30 day warranty.Will never buy from Carthage again!
