Super delicious blended coffee flavors and free wifi. Staff is usually pretty polite. Can get get little busy sometimes but there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Only 4 stars cause their food is way too pricey. Other than that top quality place. Would recommend it over some other places in town for sure.

Great atmosphere and plenty of seating inside and out! Plenty of drink options and there are breakfast options as well in the morning. I got a ham and cheese croissant and cup of fruit with a chocolate banana blended espresso drink! The only thing is it is a tad on the pricey side these three cost me $14.50.

I work across the street from The Perk (thats what me and the staff call it, because were very hip with our slang.) We love The Perk! Everybody there is so friendly. They have excellent salads. Their lattes are just the best. And last fall they had this pumpkin spice latte that was so good that sometimes Ill be drinking coffee I brewed at home, and I will weep, because the drink Im drinking isnt that latte I had last fall.

When in doubt, opt for the biscotti. Best around!

My daughter and I had lunch there today. The chicken salad crescent sandwich was delicious and the hard cider drink was very good. I recommend it. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Lovely workers, and a consistent product. One of my favorite drinks is the green tea chai. It can come either hot or iced—depends on your preference.I appreciate the efforts the business and employees have put towards social distancing, like curbside pickups and calling to order. I’m glad we have local businesses that value keeping our community safe.

I absolutely love the atmosphere, the windows that let in great natural lighting, the indie tunes, and of course, amazing coffee. They tend to have more darker roasts, but their Guatemalan roast is delicious and perfectly paired with a homemade crumb cake donut. Bidwell Perk also has a great lunch menu if you’re looking for more than a yummy pastry. The owner, Michele is so sweet and checks on tables, delivers food, makes coffee and even hosts champagne tastings. I can’t rave about this place enough; it’s my favorite spot in Chico.

Bidwell Perk Up Coffee shop is a cool place to hang out and either meet with a friend, catch up on work, or just chill. Very friendly staff, coffee all day long, wine in the afternoons, and the usual array of snacks and pastries. What I like best is the variety of seating. You can find yourself a private nook, you can hang out in the main space, or you can sit outside in the filtered light -- either in full sunlight, under a tree or in the shade of an umbrella. The location is very convenient on 1st Ave on the south side of town.

First time at this coffee shop and I will be going back next time Im in town. My husband doesnt drink coffee option and is what you might call a beginning coffee drinker. I told the staff this and they made him a drink he really loved which is rare for him when it comes to coffee. I asked for a steamed almond milk for my 7 year old daughter and they went above and beyond by including whip cream and sprinkles. Party style she loved it! They wernt busy and brought our drinks out to us on the porch. Certainly a customer wow kind of place with a quality product and nice atmosphere

STRONG Stars Hollow Gilmore Girls vibes. Service was fast and very polite, the first place Ive found in chico that offers mulled wine, great essay-writing environment, and theres even gender neutural bathrooms! Perfect place to eat good food and get a little buzzed on a warm drink while working.

Good coffee, good snacks, Bidwell perk is great; everyone in Chico knows that! If your passing through, this location is right off the freeway. The turn into the parking lot can be a little be a little difficult to spot so keep your eyes open and drive slow.

I love coffee and this is by far my favorite place to get it. The godiva mocha is my favorite. It is a bit more expensive but I am willing to pay a few cents more to have a good quality coffee. They also have books for my son to look at and comfy seating in the back. The workers are always friendly. Plus, they have coffee cards to get one free cup of coffee. So happy I gave this place a try.

Bidwell Perk is a nice hotspot for Chico Locals. The interior design and atmosphere makes this a very inviting and friendly spot. Some excellent drinks and chai teas, as well as some good pastries. Drinks served in nice glasses and mugs. Overall great stop for coffee with good staff. Does become very crowded at times with the some seating being very close together and parking a bit of a challenge.If the price was a bit lower and they were able to handle large lines a bit better it would be worthy of a 5-stars. Nice blends and good drink options.

I usually go to this place in the morning I always ask for one coffee, and kids drink. My past experience with this place was that there was no any customer in front of my. I place my order and 8 minutes passed by and the order was in front of the server and nothing happen. She was more focused on talking to someone else. I have to stand up tell the cashier that I wanted my drink done ASAP. Then the cashier told the person who makes the coffee to make it. That was when she decide to look down and take the order slip and took. It her another 4 minutes to get the drinks done. 12 minutes to get two drinks done. I would suggest to go somewhere else if you want real and fast customer service.

Better than Starbucks. Bidwell Perk: their tea is acctually tea, not bagged herbs! Staff is kind and nice, and I enjoy the familiar aditude between co workers and also with the patrons.Where has this place been? Ill recomend it forever.

Dismissive cashier taking our order, rushing the person I was with because there was a line. Then quickly went on to the people behind me, when I said, I still wanted to order something, she just looked at me and continued taking their order. I said I guess I just wont order my food, thanks.
