Mmm this is seriously the best coffee place around! They have a ton of incredibly tasting flavors that will keep you going throughout the day. They also have normal flavors too which are widely successful among those who dont need a fuss of flavors and like a humble cup of joe.They have well-trained employees who serve you with a smile and efficiency. I would definitely check this place out for all your java needs! :)

The Cal Java over on West East Avenue is my go to coffee shop for a delicious cup of coffee when Im out and about. The house blend is superb! They offer a nice selection of coffees, coffee beans, teas, delicious breakfast burritos and other tasty treats. Plus, the service is always exceptional. One of the best spots in town in my opinion.

Really cant rate as I was in another part of same building. But it was clean, had out do sitting and people seemed to be enjoying themselves.

There arent a lot of options per se, but everything tastes great and staff is very friendly.Its a worthwhile stop if you want a bagel sandwich and coffee or if youre just looking for coffee.Base coffee (black or with cream/sugar) is fairly priced. Its the flavored drinks (mochas etc) that are slightly over priced. This is probably similar to a starbucks in terms of pricing but this place has more charm. Its like the hole in the wall local spot. Doesnt look like much from the outside, but definitely worth it on the inside.

Picked up sandwiches for lunch and they rocked. Quiet little shop tucked in a building across from the hospital. If my girlfriend didnt recommend we go there I would have never know they were even there. Fast service and friendly service. I had the bbq pastrami. Excellent sandwich. My girlfriend had a grilled cheese. She swears they are the best grilled cheese sandwiches in Chico. I was way too hungry for pictures.

I went to Cal Java on the Esplanade in Chico, because I started working in the area recently. I had one of their Fit Mochas and sausage breakfast sandwich, they were both very good, and the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I have been very disappointed lately customer service in general going down hill, all over. One of the young ladies who worked there told my they also served lunch, so I went back at lunch time to try it. I got the Soup & Salad combo, with a drink, the soup was their Loaded Potato, and the salad was the Asian salad. The soup was delicious, the salad was good except it was a little spicier than I am used to. I definitely will go back.
