The gutters look good but caught one of the installation guys on camera going through my private things stored on my carport. When we reported it to the company the guy they sent out just made excuses for the guy and didn’t seem concerned. For this reason I would not recommend them. A homeowner doesn’t want to feel like someone hired to work on your home may be looking for things to steal.

Had a quote for 13 windows done this month, and the price was over 2.5x the average of the other quotes I had received recently from other local companies. $1600 per window in a simple ranch home?!?! The salesman who quoted it understood their offering was expensive, and he was friendly/professional the whole time. However, the reason for the 1-star is the call I received the next day from someone else offering me a significantly better price if they put a sign in my yard. He wouldnt say what that price was and insisted on sending someone out again to tell me what it was (which I declined). Im not interested in *ever* doing business with a company whose quotes are brazen attempts to see how much money they can extract from someone.

Tornado damage April 2020. Rachel was fabulous! Our home is perfect, largely because of Rachel. She coordinated the new windows, soffit, vinyl siding, facia and gutters. She was always there to answer our questions and tackle any issues. The products are beautiful. The crews are on time, neat and do a great job! Quality product for a fair price, but most importantly, great customer service! Definitely recommend!

I could not recommend this company highly enough. Their staff are professional and thorough. Their installers are knowledgeable and efficient. They stand by their products and their customer service is second to none.

Quality material and service. Southern completed my siding couple of months ago. Before the work was completed I could feel a change in heating my home, where my home stays warm longer and got warm quicker. Got compliments on the new look and material. Pleased with the workers, didnt do a rush, called power company when needed, did install carefully. Just pleased with the work.

We had a new roof yesterday and ultimate gutter guard installed today. Wonderful workers, they were very efficient and great attention to detail. Amazing products as well. So grateful to everyone that helped to make this happen so quickly.

I reached out for a window estimate. The guy came out with no samples, no brochures, nothing. He said he would look at the windows and take rough measurements and then be back in touch. The next day I get a call from a completely different company asking about following up on my appointment stating they were “the same company” and said they didn’t give me an estimate the first day because my wife was at the dentist (she was there the entire time). They wouldn’t give me the estimate over the phone and would only come out if my wife was present. She wouldn’t be available as she lets me deal with all home improvement projects. They evidently want to pressure you into signing something quick so they want both parties present. I ended up cancelling the appointment cause they were so hard to deal with and seemed to be a lot of misinformation going around. Every time I’ve ever gotten an estimate from any other company they can provide the pricing on site during the visit. Very interesting experience. Would not recommend them.

We asked this company to come out and give us an estimate for installing additional insulation in our older home. We have very high electric bills in the summer especially and the insulation we have is old and haphazardly placed. The salesman came out, took a quick look in our attic, and decided installing a radiant heat barrier was what we needed. He made a long sales pitch and even showed us a video describing how much of a difference this barrier would make. It made sense to me (and after he left I did some research and sounds like for the most part he was telling it like it is).We agreed to the installation and set up a payment plan. He told us a group of people would come out and have the job done in no time. It ended up being two guys who came out and were only working for about 20 minutes before one got claustrophobic and they had to stop and told me they would reschedule. In addition, before they got started, they tried to explain to me that they didnt think the radiant heat barrier was the best choice for me (contradicting their salesman). Some of their reasoning didnt make much sense to me so I asked them to go ahead with the install anyway but as I mentioned, they didnt get far.They assured me they would call to reschedule. A few weeks go by with no call. I called and talked to their receptionist who assured me the project manager would call. Another few weeks go by with no call. I call their corporate headquarters who assure me I will get a call by the end of the week. Surprise, no call! I called the next week and eventually get to talk to their regional manager (I think that was his title) who tells me they cant do the job based on how my attic is arranged and will have to cancel it. At this point I was pretty ready to cancel anyway so I didnt argue. I definitely cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

This company was very professional. They were very good to communicate and confirm with us through the process. Our whole house was done in a day. There was a misunderstanding and a down spout got put in the wrong spot. But they were back with-in a week to fix it at no cost to us. Everything was picked up before they left. We have small children so it was important to us no nails or sheet metal pieces were accidentally left. Everything had already been taken care of. They even arranged a payment plan we could afford. I would highly recommend them. They take care of their customers!

I had my my home completely redone, 10 windows and a patio door. They were on time and completed the job in an extremely professional manner. The three installers, Eli, Paul, and Phillip were very pleasant and courteous throughout, as well as a supervisor came by and checked on the progress for any problems before they left. Recommend 200% !! (this is NOT a paid review, I received nothing but a quality product).

My husband and I decided to have maintenance free gutters about the time Sams Club had a special offering with Southern. Our installation date was put off a few times for multiple reasons but we weren’t in a hurry. It only took an afternoon to install and we are both thrilled with the end results. I recommend this company with five stars as they were easy to converse with and did a splendid job.

Horrible!! After waiting a month for the gutters to be installed we had problems with leaking behind the gutters. Water ran down the facial boards. We called and they said they would send someone,after a few months someone came and said they werent installed right and they would send someone to fix the problem. Someone came out today, finally,and he too said they would send someone to fix it. He said the facial boards are too small for the gutters. How many people does it take to properly hang gutters!!? At this point we want the gutters gone and our money back. Weve gotten the run around for months and in the meantime its ruining our facial boards!! Bad company.. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!

When scheduling appointment to have a new bath tub installed, I was asked so many irrelevant questions, like whats my house worth, etc, that alone made me uncomfortable. On a date of a consultation Sam came to our house, he was courteous and a good sales person. He quoted me $7,000 to which I had replied that Bath Fitters had quoted me $4500 so his quote was way off, he stepped outside to make a call and then came back saying that he got approved to offer me $5500. It still was more than Bath Fitters offer, but BF didnt have all the options that I wanted so I agreed to get my tub installed for $5500. Also I paid $1000 deposit and was told that in the end of may my tub will be installed.End of may has passed, end of June has passed - havent heard from them at all. Today, July 10, I had called them and was told that my order got cancelled because I didnt pay enough for it to cover labor costs. That basically I was expecting $9000 worth of job while paying a lot less. Also that they would be willing to help me if I paid extra than what they had originally quoted me.Wow, seriously? Very professional. They didnt even have a courtesy to let me know that my order had been cancelled.To be fair: yes they did refund my deposit, but what a disappointment and a waste of my time!I definitely do not recommend this company.

My husband and I are very happy with the product. The gutters make our house look better and we noticed a major difference even with the first big rain. The only reason I knocked off one star is because of the wait to have them installed and then the workers were pulled away for days because of service calls instead of finishing our project. Im glad the company is busy and popular, but customer service could use some improvement.

Ask for a Estimate for gutters Man came out measured and ask me the questions he needed... and told me he would get me a estimate. Week later I called to see what was going on.. and was told I was not home and no one answered the door.. so they KILLED trust.. for gutters forget it if I wanted windows...I would not trust them, truly a NEVER mind.. place.

Im very satisfied with my new gutters. The installers arrived on time, were very respectful and responsive to questions, cleaned up when finished, and did a walk around with me. If youre looking for gutters that never clog, these are the ones to buy! I would recommend this company and these gutters to anyone.

Very nice guys who came out. We called and they promptly came out for a free quote. However, they walked into our home without asking and uninvited to present their sales pitch. We had already had 4 other companies give us quotes and everyone else didnt require us both to be home and sent us a quote via email. After their video presentation they let us know what their quote was which was close to 6k for a single family home. This was extremely high compared to the other quotes (around 2k) that we received for gutters only.

I was impressed by the presentation, pricing was inline with my expectations. Installation crew was amazing. 3 knowledgeable young men.First hot month of summer and my electric bill is down 16%!

Everyone was friendly from the salesman to the window installers. Felt like we got a decent deal for what we were getting. The installers did a great job installing the new windows and cleaned up their mess afterwards. They were friendly to our dogs who made best friends with them.

Worst customer service experience, installed incorrectly and took over 6 months to come fix it the first time. Then still not complete and took another 3 months to finally come back and complete the project finally. I would not recommend this company for your gutter work.

Once my mom put a down payment of $1000.00 she never heard from again. After 3 mos of waiting for the product, mom began to call them back trying to get them to come out. They would say they were going to be out, give a date but then never show. So then she had to call them back and leave a message and if they think returning a call means call - let it ring once then hang up just so they can say they called .....its not!!! Finally after speaking with a lawyer to proceed with suing them and several more calls with them promising to come out and deliver the product/install it.... 2 weeks later they finally refunded her the deposit.... FORGET ME EVER LOOKING FURTHER INTO BUYING THEIR PRODUCT!!!

Courteous, flexible and quick!

We had the K-guard installed on our rental property. I cant believe my partner failed to realize that an opening on a gutter system will clog the system. Its a product that requires cleaning from Southern and I cant maintain the system. We have called several times to be told that someone would follow up four phone calls no follow up. I will contact the company we originally wanted to install new 6 gutters and there system which come with a 40 year replacement warranty. If I could attach photos you would not get this product

We had 18 windows installed. They were very hard workers and cleaned up well. They got the jobs done quickly and courteously! We would definitely recommend them! AND our windows look AMAZING!

Southern Window and Gutter Co did a great job on the installation of our leaf guard gutter system. They cleaned up after the job was completed and left some extra materials for us if we needed. No hassle with leaves at all this fall! Good job folks!

May 2018They replaced, and hauled away the old gutters. Much larger than the originals. No more overflowing, no more cleaning every fall. Very neat and reasonably priced, plus look great!

There are not enough stars to say how happy I am with my windows, my gutters, and my total experience with Southern Window & Gutter Company. I had planned my budget for this renovation down to the penny with the quotes I had received. When they came for the final measurements to place the order - the person had misquoted by a good bit. I was concerned and explained my sitatution. I am VERY HAPPY to say they honored their quote! That speaks to the character of this company!They got my order in and eveyrthing turned around promptly!!! It was amazing! They did an amazing job with the installation and clean up! I cannot even begin to describe how impressed I was and am!!!!! The house looks amazing! The windows are gorgeous and the gutters look amazing. It has made such a difference in our house. It has been a month and we still do not have blinds on most windows - I just cannot stand to cover them!!!! Hands down I would tell EVERYONE to use Southern WIndow & Gutter Company! I am so happy with them that their sign is STILL in my yard! Their staff is great to work with and the installation teams are so kind and professional. The entire experience from sales preview, to financing, to installation was impeccable. Their staff is very personable and knowledgeable. The installers were so fast and efficient. And above all, the product, Window Core, is outstanding. I highly recommend Southern Window and Gutter without reservation.

Was very well pleased with the installation and with the product. The gutters seem to be working great. I did my research before I called for an appointment and had already made up my mind that I was going to buy this product. They are pricy, but I guess we have to pay for the TV adds, etc. The only thing I didnt appreciate was the putting down of the competitors products before I was shown theirs. As I said, I had already made up my mind before the sales people arrived. I would much rather hear the attributes of the product Im looking at and not the negative stuff. I would recommend this product.

We had the leaf guard put on our gutters and now the corner joints leak. We also installed a new shower with a bench. They installed a rain drip shower head and the water does not reach the bench. Also, the second time my husband used the shower, a roller fell off the door and now it leaks on my floor when the shower is used. We have called several times to no avail. Our rather simple fixes are not being fixed after being told we have a life-time guarantee. I would not recommend them. I am giving them one last chance this week, then it is time for an attorney.

As a real estate appraiser and former manager of a branch of a national company specializing in insulation and guttering, I have to say that I have never dealt with a home services company with Southerns level of commitment to professionalism and extraordinary level of insuring that the customer/consumer is fully satisfied with the installed product. I conclude by noting there is no other company in the home services field that is as sensitive to customer satisfaction as Southern.

I just got off the phone with this company and Im not pleased. I called to have someone come out for an estimate and the person took my information: name, phone number, and address, but then was asked if I had spouse. I reluctantly said yes. The person said both of us would have to be present during the estimate. I informed the person that this was my project, not my wifes. I told the person If my wife has to be present, then Ill have to look for another company to install gutter guards. I could tell the person didnt care.We arent the type of people who make on-the-spot decisions when making a big purchase. So, mark one off the list and my search continues …

Horrible. They promised gutters within 10 days when they came out to do estimate. Gave them a large deposit. Over 2 weeks now and no gutters, no return phone calls. After getting a hold of one of their rude staff, they guaranteed gutters on Wednesday. Same promise made by Human resources person named Cindy. That was 2 days ago. Still no gutters, no phone call, no returned phone calls, anything. Go somewhere else. They dont care about you or your family. Will try to get deposit back. Wish me luck.

Loan approval process was effortless they pretty much did everything for me ... gutters were put on in a matter of hours .. I did have an issue with runoff but I called and within a couple of days they were back at my house to fix the issue very happy with my experience with this company would def go back for a different project !

If I could give them a 0 I would! Had a consultation and was told 7-10 days they would be putting the gutters on our house. Needless to say we are almost 3 weeks into this and still NO gutters!!!! They dont call us back, they give you the run around, then they tell you that they will be put in this Wednesday. Then today (Thursday) they tell you that they will be meeting with an installer tomorrow (Friday)to schedule a time for them to come out to install said gutters that were supposed to be put on 2 weeks ago. Was told today that that it could be another 2 weeks out!They didnt hesitate to take the $1000 from us the date of consultation but now they dont want to provide the service in the ageeed upon time frame!Please do not use this company if you care at all about customer service, timely manner on job install or if you value your time trying to get ahold of them to know when the job is going to be done.We have been lied to, given 5 different numbers to call, no one picks up the phone and no one has once said I am sorry or tried to make this situation better! I hope this goes viral and people in Chattanooga steer clear of them!!!

I had gutters installed on my house and my shed in January 2019. They did a professional job and I have no complaints.

BUYER BEWARE! My fiance had called for an estimate for our windows. The sales person Sam Felton came out and proceeded to tell us we had major gutter problems and needed the gutters replaced. We said we want to do the windows first but he insisted we needed gutters. He continued to high pressure us for over 2 hours, and told us he was the CEO of the company, and he was offering us major discounts for that night only as he was the owner. We do not make on the spot decisions, we always sleep on it and talk about major purchases. He finally left and he was rude when leaving as we said we were not making a decision that night. A couple weeks later my fiance got a call from their office saying they wanted to send out a Manager, and there may be additional discounts available. What? Wasnt Sam the CEO of the company already at our house? My fiance made the appointment, we dont recall the fellas name that came out, he was extremely nice, but his price was higher than the original price! Then he proceeds to tell us Sam is not the CEO, but the owners son! Then we looked at google reviews and Sam Felton puts up a positive review for his/ fathers company? BUYER BEWARE!!

We had a sales person come to our house to get a quote on windows two months ago after being referred by a friend. We requested the same sales person but he is no longer there. We had some questions so I called to speak to the manager that our friend suggested we talk to. He too is no longer there. We also were suppose to get a 100 and a 25 gift card per the tv ad. To this day we still havent gotten the gift cards but we have gotten our windows from Window World and theyre already installed by the same installer our friend had do theres! He too left the company. This company has too many red flags for us to feel comfortable doing business with.

I called for an estimate on 11/20/18. We were going to try to setup an estimate but they required both my wife and I to be home since it is both of our names. I told her that would be impossible and she hung up on me. Several other companies dont even require anyone to be home. My guess these are high pressure sales people.

I am very unhappy with Southern Windows and Gutters. Your TV ad andyour website says with a home estimate you will receive a $25 gift card.I have called 5 times and still do not have the gift card. I live 80 milesfrom Chattanooga and was old I have to drive to Chattanooga to pick it up. RIDICULOUS !! I will complain to the BBB and District Attorney !
