This is my go to home improvement store. Occasionally they dont have something I need and I will go to the blue box store across the street. This store is always clean, the employees are always cheerful and happy to help me and it is always well stocked so I can find what Im looking for. We will keep coming back for all our projects.

Very helpful crew working here. Ive always been able to find, or get assistance to find, whatever Im looking for. Not very happy with having the post-checkout exit so far from the entrance. No matter where you park, youve got to walk a ways (but Im being picky here).

Went in to get a paint match the guy at the counter. Was throwing paint mixing sticks I asked him to match mySample he said it would be light or darker so I asked for sample he walked off left me standing there I left and went to Cleveland Kelly in paint matched it perfectly called the other store told them my problem said store manager would call me didnt happen lost my business maybe he didnt like my Harley Davidson shirt changes need to made I think

Was looking for M5-0.8 metric stainless cap screw 25 mm long. Had really poor selection of anything stainless in metric. Selection at Lowes was better, but they did not have either.Readily found it at my local Ace hardware only 3 miles from my house. I now know to go to local Ace hardware FIRST!

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. We went in to buy my wife the dream kitchen and all we’ve received is a nightmare. After we paid for them to measure and make sure that everything fits perfect we were promised that everything would be perfect. Well since then it’s been a nightmare and customer service has been horrible. The service was great and then once everything is paid for your out on your own with zero help. We’ve spent over $10k on a kitchen and now we have had to spend money on a electrician and someone to fix the flooring because the measurements were not done correctly. When we called our response was Oh well we measure spaces not the cabinets. Before we purchased we were told that everything is going in the same way our old cabinets were going in and it will look perfect and you don’t have to do a thing. My advice would be to go somewhere else.

By far the worst experience we’ve ever had! Everyone was nice and promised our dream kitchen till it was paid and installation time… measurements were way off, kitchen is not what we asked for and just a complete disaster… when we tried to talk to the guy that initially helped design and order was very short and rude about it! DO NOT GET A KITCHEN FROM THEM… huge waste of time and money

The staff here were very kind and knowledgeable. Best of all, they dont require you to wear a mask! Whenever I see someone wearing a mask, I always keep my distance away from them because I do not want whatever sickness or disease it is that they have. Best advice, stay home until you are well and can go shopping without having to wear a mask (being concerned that you might give other people whatever sickness or disease it is that you have).

After having to replace our KitchenAid refrigerator twice in 3 years, we became bounced between Home Depot and Whirlpool as to who was going to anything about it. Brandon, the manger on duty, decided to step in and take care of us by weighing company policies, customer service and and just plain doing the right thing.Brandon restored our faith in old school customer service. Great job. Hats off to Ted the patient salesperson too!

Friendly staff, but many items in the garden section were sold out. Seems like this time of year(spring) you would want those fully stocked at all times. Other than that, a positive experience.

Came to this Homedepot in Chattanooga, because they have shiplap paneling we needed to redo our bathrooms. We got there only to wait and be told by 2 associates they were out of it. I thought they were being lazy so I set out and found it in top stock myself. Then found a manager to let him know that 2 of his associates told me that they were out but I found it. Waited to get it down and get the rest of it that I needed. Checked out again with all my materials. They called for help loading for me. I just got out of the hospital with a bad go of covid I am on oxygen one of the people started loading by himself because the other guy struck up a conversation about sports with a friend of his that was walking through. So I helped load lungs hurting than when we were done the other associate came up and laughed and said sorry man I just felt like talking. I said I noticed. Must be nice to be able to push work off on other people and joke about it. He just laughed and walked off. Hope I never have to come back to this location again.

I went looking for wyze security cameras and they didnt have any on the shelf. But besides not having an inventory on what I wanted overall everybody was very nice except for the guy that kept following me around probably lost prevention or something.

It was a good trip to get some things for fixes around my house! Great service today

I had shopped at Home Depot first for a refrigerator to replace at a rental property. Not only did they not have anything in stock but I couldnt get anyone to help me. When I finally had someone help, she took a call in the middle of my asking a question then proceeded to walk off and never return! Fifteen to twenty minutes later when I hunted her down upfront she said in a frustrated tone Im sorry I had to help a customer. Really! Who was I?? It was a very poor experience there. Went then to Lowes and was all taken care of by a very friendly fellow in less time than I was waiting for someone at Home Depot. Lowes made a $2500 immediate sale that Home Depot missed out on!

The people in the tool rental dept were friendly and knowledgeable. Kind to our dogs too.

I have visited two stores trying to order a door. Both times I was told there were no one working in the door dept. Will try another store...

Great customer service from Alex in the paint department

I typically find what I want or an employee to help. Store is well stocked and online completes the selection though it can get frustrating having to get it on line.

Pro contractor side was very busy but the self checkout was a breeze. Garden area has lots of pretty flowers and some good looking shrubs.

In general, I have had a good experience in this store. However, this changed drastically with my recent order of kitchen cabinets. After waiting more than 10 weeks for delivery, we paid a company to install these into our home. We arrived home to find out that two cabinets were missing, the sink and one island cabinet. Then we noticed one cabinet was the incorrect size, trim was missing, and the entire order was incorrect because they sent us a cheaper and different style of doors. The manager at the store informed us that THD would not take the cabinets back because we installed them and did not catch the mistake within 30 days. He offered an extremely small discount for our inconvenience. My wife and I have been washing dishes in our bathtub for over a month waiting on the missing cabinets, and we still have to wait for another month for the “expedite shipment” to come in. I am very dissatisfied and feel cheated with the service at this store. I would not recommend buying such orders at this location. I hope someone from corporate reads this and provides some assistance, at this point that is all that could help.

Purchased new Bosch dishwasher from Home Depot in Chatt. January of 2020. I paid for their contracted installers to install the new one and remove my old one. To make a long story short, the installers did the installation improperly and caused some damage.After some confusion over paperwork the contractors would not make it right. BUT WAIT! The great people at Home Depot made it right and made sure I was happy. I can’t thank them enough. Thanks to David H. Store mgr. and the appliance team. I’ll see them for my next appliance purchase and many other items I’m sure.

Love Home Depots selection and pricing. Will continue to shop from them, however, they definitely could improve their online ordering system. Often times, Im waiting 20 minutes to pick up an order but most recently I waited nearly an hour! Initially I waited 25 minutes to find the clerk who knew about my order had went to break, then another 20+ minutes to find my order had been misplaced in the store by the truck unloaders.

I would RATE A ZERO I STARTED my home repairs with home depot 1.5 years ago to lay flooring an redo my kitchen not only did they not finish my kitchen but told me I’d have to pay more money for them to come back out an finish …. An my floors they gotten the wrong color 5 times delivered to my house with each time taking at least 4-6 months for the next order for the next order for the next order … yet to finally have my floors laid an today my quarter round an transition show up for the 3 rd time THE WRONG COLOR AN NOT ENOUGH 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I DONT NOT RECOMMEND FOR YOUR HOME REPAIRS AT ALLLLLLLLL

Ive been getting referrals for work that needs to be done around my house through Home Depot. So far the handyman and repairmen have been knowledgeable and affordable!

So far, so good. Moving my business over from Lowes, and my first visit (in a long time) was very good. Found Home Depot also offered the veterans discount.

I had to go to Home Depot because the other big store didnt have enough stock to supply my needs (5 double cylinder dead bolt matching lock sets). Over the years I have found better and friendlier assistance at Lowes but Home Depot has a generally better selection of various products.Assistance has always been easier to find at Lowes and I generally go there first, but sometimes I have to go to Home Depot to find what I need.

Huge selection of indoor plants, which you usually dont see in the middle of summer...but it was exactly what I was there for!! Wouldve given 5 stars, but the succulent arrangement I bought had a plant that completely died just 3 days after I bought it. Maybe it was something I did...?? Not sure.

Haven’t used this store in a very long time due to the horrible customer service that I received the last time I shopped at this store. Decided to try them again, I won’t make that mistake again. The few employees that I encountered were not wearing their masks correctly or not at all. I was looking for a particular light bulb and had to ask several times before I got someone who actually knew where they were. I get that retail includes a high rate of turnover but management may want to teach the new employees it’s ok to ask another associate for help when dealing with a customer. Instead, I was told, “I don’t know” and then walking away. The store manager may want to revisit basic customer service training. I will be driving further to Lowe’s in the future.

Home Depot is Always a great choice for most items, I generally pull into Home Depot first before shopping anywhere else,. Everyone has there preference, for instance Ford or Chevrolet. I generally know already what Im getting and where to locate the items in several stores. The reason for the 4 stars and not the five is simple really. For me time is money,. And most things I do are already to building standard and codes,. And it really is time consuming to purchase trim material there and its like working to just have to pay them to work. Most of there trim and certain lumber and trim Items are sold by the foot, which dont get me wrong, why pay for more than you need, right. But are you really? By the time you drag out the 16 foot piece hoping it is a good one after wrestling it out of the bin its in, then I have to go to cutting and continue this process, just to get to the register to have no bar code and wait for them to look it up and measure it, and thats on a good day.. so why not have the option of having standard lengths as well. 8 foot, 10 foot sticks already waiting ???? May be saving them money, but to me we pay for it in the labor ... Just saying is all.....

I have email David the General Manager three times with no response to this situation. The lack of concern or care for my experience is very unprofessional and upsetting.February 27th at the Home Depot off Commons Blvd I was getting paint. I picked out a paint that was priced at $14 it was a semi gloss Glidden paint and I picked out “silky white” behr color. I go to get my paint mixed, and the lady who was at the counter said she could not give me that color because it was a different brand. Which I know is not true, because I had it done a week prior with the behr color “organe maple” mixed into glidden. After I told her I did not want behr (because I am trying to be frugal) then she went on to help another customer. Finally when she comes back I ask what colors I can pick from she points in a certain direction. So I try and find a color I am happy with from that selection. Then I go back up to the counter with my new color (that I am not really satisfied with) and question why they were able to do this last week but now they cannot. She once again said it’s not the right brand. I asked if she could color match it, she said “Sure, but it won’t be exact”. That’s not what a customer wants to hear. I ask if there is someone more experienced in paint I could speak to. She said “No, they are at lunch”. At this point, I am upset and say “Okay let’s just go with the second color”. However I am still frustrated and confused so I go find a manager. He was like “I am sorry we are unstaffed and she isn’t usually in the paint department. We can color match that for you”. However, without even asking he goes and gets a MORE EXPENSIVE Glidden Premium paint and color matches it to the original color I wanted. I’ve already spent 45 minutes in the paint section dealing with an extremely rude lady is unexperienced in paint so I was ready to leave.After it’s all said and done I spent 45 minutes of my time getting one gallon of paint and spending more money on a different paint that I didn’t even pick out.I am extremely disappointed in my experience to say the least. I am working on re-doing my entire house and we planned on Home Depot being our go to spot for all our supplies. If I could give 0 stars I certainly would.

As I was leaving a negative review because I couldn’t find the price in this item as well as a lady named Frankie being very rude and not helpful at all a very pleasant lady named Theresa helped and her department was all the way across the store. These places used to strive on customer service, I guess not so much anymore.

There is a young man his hair is a little long ( not to his shoulder s., I was picking out some 2x4x8s and he just came a long and started right in he asked how many I needed and checked for straightness and put them on my cart, such a nice young man, in the past Ive had to go look for help and tell some one I needed help this young man steped up did his job and did it very well, Great job this was on MLK day, this man showed to me hes not only wanting a pay check, But he really want to help people !!! Thanks to this young man he make comeing to home depot much easier on me!!!

Plenty of available employees standing around chatting that could have helped me find the pipe drain fittings I was hunting for 20 minutes. Went with picking the wrong type set, by myself. Drove all the way back home and boom still cant fix my sink .I live in Cleveland was on my way back from Georgia stopped at gunbarrel an hour before closing to save time. If Im in Chattanooga again and need something I guess Ill hit up lowes!!!!!

No enforcement of masks at all. Many employees without masks, several customers. What’s the point of having any mask policy if you’re going to behave like this? I won’t. be back.

I ordered two ceiling fans online. Received a text that my order was ready for pickup. I went to the Hixson Home Depot, which is where I picked up my last order. Found out it was at the Gunbarrel Store. My mistake. The Hixson Store is designated in text messages as N Chattanooga while the Gunbarrel Store is designated simply as Chattanooga. OK, now I know. I drove back to Gunbarrel, where I had just come from. Went in to pick up my order and discovered that someone had canceled one of the fans from my order. No email. No text. No explanation. The Service Desk employee just kind of gave me this blank look and said he had no idea who changed my order or why. That makes two of us.

The young man that loaded my order was very pleasant and helpful even in the cold rain!

Time to plant my food and flowers so i went to get just what i needed.

Everything you need, not crowded when I been there

Normally I am a big fan of Home Depot and shop here regularly, so this review is directly related to the current state of things due to Covid-19. Even though there is signage about mask wearing and it is currently a city mandate, this location isn’t following the mandate. At least half the associates have their masks half down. A third of the customers aren’t following the mask rule as the store is making it apparent they don’t care about mandates or the community they service. I will no longer shop here now or when this mess is all over.

Its a Home Depot, just like all the others.

Best store ever

Employees actually make life harder. Im fine loading my own goods, but if the teller says, pull around and theyll load it up, then I expect that to happen. 40 minutes later and after several inquiries into where my drywall is, I end up loading it myself while I can see 3 workers standing around in the lumber section chatting. Everyones response is, Not my department. Everyones a teenager and no one will take ownership of their job, so if you go here, youre better off not listening to any install or product advice, and plan on doing things yourself.

Dont ever call customer service unless you want to spend 30 minutes repeating yourself to individuals who are from another country which you cant understand their dialect and voice
