Matthew quoted us for garage doors that badly needed to be replaced he was patient with all my questions and quote changes throughout the entire process. Today was installation day the installer (Sam) did a fabulous job especially working in this 100 degree heat. He was here all day untill everything was perfect. We love our new doors and openers. Was very efficient. Installer was hard working and got the door installed in around 5 hours. Was very informative as to how to work the door, the opener and the keypad. Answered all of our questions. Ordering the door and service was very simple and easy. Overall we were pleased with the process beginning to end.

Had service quoted and scheduled on July 23 for today in the morning. We were told that someone would call with a more specific time on the 27th (yesterday), but that didnt happen. After working all night last night, I stayed up this morning under the presumption that they would be here.After waiting all morning for a technician or phone call, I called their office and was advised that they had scheduled us for next week. I explained that we would not have agreed to that date due to conflicting schedules, but was told that was what had been agreed upon.Ultimately cancelled service with them and called Access Garage Doors who gave me a firm time frame for service tomorrow without any hassle whatsoever.edit:To be clear, there was no miscommunication for scheduling. Despite your office staff being certain the appointment was for next week, I am certain that we would not schedule service for a day that we would not be able to be home for the service.To say I didnt give your business a chance is not accurate. We gave you a chance to come and service the garage door at an agreed upon date and price and we were left waiting in the dark. I respect peoples time and expect my time to be respected as well. Your office staff offered me the guilt of having someone have to stay over today to come out and see if they could fit us in. That is not the same as rectification of a mismanaged appointment.

Bell Mill Barn in Ooltewah needed 11 roll up doors for their new venue space at Bell Mill Mansion and they choose Northgate Doors to do the job and they did a fabulous job. We chose them because they also replaced 3 garage doors at the Mansion 5 years ago and did a great job and were great to work with. I don’t think you would be disappointed if you choose them to install your new doors or replace your old ones.

I was in need of a garage door opener motor being replaced and called upon Northgate Doors to do the work. I have used them for all my garage door needs for over 20 years. The employee that did my work this time was Trey (I believe that was his name). He was everything that I look for when assessing someones work. He was PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, and left my garage CLEAN. I cant say enough good things about the entire Northgate Doors team. Even the young lady that arranged my work on the phone (sorry I dont remember her name) was very helpful, patient, professional, and courteous. I recently purchased and had installed two new garage doors by Northgate Doors, one was a 16ft and the other was a matching 8 ft. Before hiring Northgate doors I made sure to get two quotes, one from Northgate Doors and one from a local big name competitor. Both companies were bidding on identical products/installation and that the quotes were not even close in comparison. The owner of Northgate Doors (Mathew) was not shown the previous quote but was able to significantly beat it. The special order doors came in at the time that was given and the office personnel (Cindy) was accommodating with the scheduling. The installers were GREAT in making sure not to damage the new work that was done on the jambs and that I was satisfied with the doors/job before leaving. The doors are absolutely stunning and Northgate Doors achieved my expectations (which is not easy to do).

Gentle men were very courteous and identified themselves when they arrived. They did excellent work and had the door up and operational very quickly. Cleaned up the mess and took the old door. I would recommend them.

Called for replacement garage door. Tre the rep came out 10 days later. Measured it. He went to work, got the specs, and wrote them down. Said he couldnt give prices, would drop of the specs at the office today and someone would call back with a price - TODAY. So far so good.No call later that day. Called the next day and receptionist said sometimes it takes DAYS for them to drop off their work and DAYS longer for us to call you back. Really? Hmmm. That doesnt seem like alacrity and service orientation to me.Well, its now 8 days later, and I have moved on to another company. As the owner / manager is want to say in many of his replies here on Google, there sure are many five star reviews of this place. Wonder how many are real. Anyway, it must be nice to have so much work in an inflationary environment that you can afford to treat customers so casually and blithely. May not be the same if a recession rolls around. Buyer beware.

One of my two garage doors have had problems closing and operating properly for more than two years. One of the big garage door companies advised me that they could not work on my garage opener unless the door was completely replaced . They also recommended replacement of the second door. A friend recommended Northgate doors who came out to look at it, quickly diagnosed the problem, repaired the door frame and recommended installation of a new opener on the defective door. The cost was considerably less than the other guys. I accepted Northgate recommendations and the work was done to my complete satisfaction. They were also very courteous and their repair people showed knowledge and competence in what they were doing.

My old wood garage door finally gave out and needed replacing. From the first meeting Northgate Doors was professional and caring. I needed some wood extra support to be able to hang the door. They were kind enough to deliver it ahead of installation so I could paint it to match the existing door frame (much easier than painting after installation). I would highly recommend them.

I called Northgate Doors late Thursday and made an appointment for Monday to have my garage door repaired/serviced. She called me on Friday to give me a time frame for Monday, which was 9:00-10:00am.
